• Personality:
  Kurtis is a very wary man who does not trust strangers. Though Kurtis would like to make actual friends and is very nice beneath his guard, he fears getting close to people whom might be hurt simply by getting close to him. Kurtis is also a gentlemen, always showing women proper respect even if they treat him like dirt. As such, he would never fight a woman. He's not actually trying to be sexist but believes that it is wrong to fight a woman no matter who they are. If they get angry, Kurtis just takes it with a light smile though and just walks away. Kurtis is also very stubborn, If he puts his mind to something. He will not stop until it is finished, and he will never back down no matter the odds or social pressure to back down.
  
  If he sees someone doing something wrong that will put others at risk, he will try and stop that person before anyone can get hurt. He values other people's lives more than his own, so needless to say he will not hesatate to put himself in danger to save somone. Kurtis also gets along with younger kids very well, they often like to play with him. Becuse of his gentle nature, and how goofy he can be just to make see them smile. So no one would ever think he was a manslayer just by looking at him. Though when angry or pushed into a corner his darker side will show once again. So needless to say Kurtis does not fight unless he has no other choice.

At a first glance if you are not paying attention Kurtis may look like a woman, for he is very feminine looking. On his cheek is a X shaped scar, a mark of his past that shames him. Sometimes he covers it to it can't be seen.

• Powers: Superhuman speed:
  when in battle he will at times look like a red and white blur for he is moving faster then the normal human eye to see. Though he only does it in short bursts.
  
  Super human Durability:
  Kurtis can take heavy hits better then most people, hits that would normaly kill a person. But even that has a limit and Kurtis will get badly hurt after a while.

  Kurtis is useless without his sword, some how get it away from him he can be easly beaten. And when it comes to his speed he can only use it for so long, at least 8 hours before having to stop to rest there for he only uses it when in a battle and even then its in short bursts.

  Kurtis had learned all the sword fighting styles of his time, and over the years of his training develped keen sence of being able to tell when someone is good or evil and able to sence if someone is near by.
  
  
• History:
  Kirtis was born 300 years ago in Tokyo japan, where he had a loving family and a Father who tought him the way of the sword. For years ge lived peacefully untill a war started, and not careing how young he was at the time at the age of 13 Kenshin was drafted intto the war along with his father due to the fact they where good swordsmen. During that time Kurtis went through harsh traning and learned many new skills. Then one day when they where sent out to battle he and his Father found themselves out numbered. Though this did not stop them from fighting. Though sadly there was just to many and Kurtis's father was cut down before Kurts's eyes. Something in Kurtis changed and awakend in him. He was suddenly able to move at super fast speeds. Cutting down ten people before back up arived.
  
  After that the leaders of the army saw how much skill Kurtis had and started to train how to kill. Kurtis then surved in the army for years earning the nickname Battousai. During that time all the drove Kurtis was anger and hate for those who had killed his father. So as pay back he would kill as many of the foes he could even women and children. It got the point not only did his foe;s feared him also his allies. Thoiugh Kurtis did not care his heart had become dark and cold.. Then one battle came he found a opponent that could match him. The fight lasted a long time to the point Kurtis could no longer use his super speed. His opponent got the better of him and he was able to cut Kurtis twice on the same cheek in a X.
  
  This was shocking to Kurtis but he did not five up, he was able to kill this opponent but he had done something... Kurtis's was able to see what had been doing all this time.. This is not the path his father wanted him to have... he had become a man slayer killing all who had entered his path.. Though Kurtis could not leave till the war was won. A few years later his side on the war and Kurtis then slipped away leaveing his blood soked sword behind. After that he become a traveling swordsmen and found a revers blade sword. He made a vow to never kill again but protect those around him to repent for the sins he had done and all those people he had killed. And never once did he go back home to see his Mother and little sister. To ashamed to see them ever again.
  
  As he travled Kurtis came to a town that was being terrorized by some warlords, unable to ignore this Kurtis jumped in and started to help. As he did this he made new friends and even started to fall in love. And during this time while fighting the warlords Kurtis married the woman and ended up having one child. Though Sadly he would never to see his daughter grow up. For he went back to battle with the warlords and little did he know he would not be coming back home. The battle with the boss warlord was heated and a long battle Kurtis had gotten injurd but he was also able to land his on his opponent. Wanting to end this Kurtis called on his powers and infront of everyone all out. With his powers he was able to confuse his opponent and was able to get the knock out blow.
  
  It was over the town was freed but before Kurtis could so anything a protal suddenly appered without warning and sucked Kurtis in. The next thing Kurtis knew he was somehere else surrounded by strange metal things. Kurtis then tried to make a run for the protal but it closed before he could get to it. He then heard a sound like sounded like a explosion. He drew his sword and turned to face the the sound and saw a man freaking out and tryingh to put out the fire with no luck. He then turned to face Kurtis and tried to calm him down and expain what happened. but coming from a techless world Kurtis did not understand at all and just got angry and demaned to go back home.
  
  The man that did this told Kurtis his name is Forge and he had not ment to take Kurtis from his time. And that he could not send him back though he really wanted to. This did not help Kurtis calm down at all, he then used his superspeed to polt out of there and when he got the the outside he was overwhelmed by what he saw. Thos was nothing like his time.. Things that roared on by when they passed. metal bird things that flew in the sky... Kurtis then started zooming around the city loseing Forge as he did that.
