"I'll be glad to put that behind me one day." Horus said to him as they met with Carol and Tony and was glad to be heading inside after all that. Today had certainly proved to be rather eventful and the young man was in more pain again which meant he would likely take longer to heal than initially expected which he knew the nurses would not be happy about this. Eventually he might make himself practically helpless to help anyone, and that was something he didn't want to happen so soon. Not until he was old and barely able to move. "You know I think I'll rad to the infirmary, not really in much shape to stay up too much longer." He said to them as he headed to the elevator and stepped inside once it arrived and pressed the button to go down obviously tired as well.
Carol chuckled a bit at that,"Well Pietro is quite the talker Tony, took me a bit to understand his speech but now it's not an issue. Although try reading that whirlwind of thoughts of his, much harder than it looks. Makes me wonder how Jean, Emma, or Proffesor X are able to read them, though suppose experience can come into play there." Carol said as she thought about it for a while. There was a lot she didn't understand about her own telepathy but she at the moment was uncomfortable with her status as a mutant and she wasn't the only one the at the school. Though she for now never said a word to her doubts of being at the school, not even fully explaining it to her own boyfriend Pietro despite knowing he would understand. But for now she dealt with it since there wasn't exactly anything she could do to change who she was no matter how much she may have wanted to. "Still glad to see you two are at least in one piece." She said but knew Tony needed some headache pills to relieve the one he had but before she could more to do so she heard someone speak from behind them.
Turning she saw Laurie Tromette, one of the top students there and someone who often could be much like Carol in her doubts of being a mutant but today she seemed in a slightly happy mood. "Looks like you have a nasty bump there Mr.Stark, thought you could use this since some of us saw your landing and well what happened with Horus too." Laurie said as she offered Tony some headache relief and a glass of water. "You always seem to be quick to catch onto something Laurie." Carol said with a smile. "Of course. And pardon my manners but I'm Laurie Mr.Stark, though some call me Transonic." Laurie introduced herself with a greeting smile.

“You should’ve seen him when he first joined the Avengers, he couldn’t sit still. I don’t even think Wanda could hold him down for that matter.” Tony said partially joking and understanding what she meant. His speech was hard to understand and on other points it was like he was talking so fast, he wasn’t making much sense at all. As for his mind, it’d be hard for even an experienced telepath to even try and figure out the puzzle that is in it. All the thoughts blurring as one was normal for him but not so much for others. Tony wondered if there was simply anything that’d keep him down for long, maybe something like taking away his powers. But there really wasn’t much of an off switch for him.
“It’s nice to meet you, Laurie. I’m sure I’ve seen you before once or twice on the news.” He said as he looked up seeing the blue mutant. He wasn’t at all surprised by her form since he had seen plenty of odd things in his days. They had the Hulk too, come to think about it. When Laurie looked at his bruise he wasn’t shocked at all on how bad it looked. It felt bad and that was all he needed for him to figure it out. “I’m not surprised one bit.” Tony said when Laurie came into the room. He had seen her once or twice before from what he remembered. He had recognized her maybe on the tv when he had been watching the news on the latest villains that had decided to show themselves before. They had always been careful with villains out there and today wasn’t an exception. If Tony was in his Ironman suit things would have been a bit different, were he could have fought back, but it was clear that was not the case. It was just a bad time for him to be in maybe.
Once Laurie gave him the pills he took them and drank them down carefully in his mouth and gave a quick swallow until they were down. He drank a bit more water down to get the taste out of his mouth before placing the cub down on the nearest stand. "Thanks Laurie. I think once I start feeling better I need to make my leave as well before the other Avengers start to worry. I came in to speak with Xavier but it seems he's not here. I got my answers else where though." Tony said already aware that Xavier was alive and had been suspicious since the beginning that he was around. And it seemed so odd that he would leave at a time like this. With that he didn't need to say much as he kept quiet and went about his own business. Though for now he'd help keep it a secret for Xavier knowing that he had his own group of secrets to keep hidden from the universe.

"Why doesn't that surprise me. It surprises me he can even not avoid a wall at his speeds, especially when his brain works much faster than any one else's." Carol said with a chuckle, remembering the day she had met Pietro. Whether it was in the past or now he never seemed to be able to take it slow in most things, although there were certain things he didn't mind taking it slow and easy which she was happy for. Regardless though she never minded his fast paced speech, his rushing around, and that whirlwind of thought that made it a little difficult to contact him, she loved Pietro as he was.
Looking at Laurie though she could see some embarrassment in Laurie's face, the blue skinned woman rubbing the back of her neck. "I know I've been on there at least twice sir. Though sometimes hard to miss me when I am going at speeds that outmatches the likes of Quicksilver, and faster than the Blackbird. On some occasions I think going mach six speeds can be a giving all it's own." Laurie told. She was well aware her transonic speeds allowed her to go at speeds no one could see without special conditions otherwise they would only feel a draft or see a blue streak briefly in the sky. Many could almost label her the fastest woman in the world by mutant standards but she never was one to be so competitive. Well unless it was a debate of some kind than others could know she usually stuck to her own opinion, especially in ethical and moral situations.
As the two women listened to Tony though they both nodded in understanding as they knew Avengers and X-men were always busy no matter what it might be. "Probably best you get a quick nap Tony, especially with that headache if it's hurting so much. After that you should be pretty good to go." Carol told him knowing they had rooms to spare, some even set aside specifically for guests and so students wouldn't disturb them when they wanted privacy.

"Wow that's pretty impressive even the Ironman suits can't go that fast since there are human limits that are involved. I'd bet though that the races between you and quicksilver would be rather interesting." Tony said knowing that it was rare for even the likes of Quicksilver to sit down easily. He did have the energy when he needed it most. It was like he was constantly running on coffee. Maybe he had to keep away the bad ones that had high energy away from him instead of this. Then again the energy may have not been as easily explained when it came to Quicksilver he was probably that way when he was a teenager.
"ok night you two I'll be up and out of here before I become a problem for you guys. I don't like to be a burden that much." tony said and knew where the rooms where because he had been here before he knew where to go. So with that he looked back at the other two girls, "I also know where the rooms are. In the past, I've been here on occasions to meet with the Professor to address Illuminati matters that required me staying here for a few days. I just hope I don't return to a destroyed Avengers Building when I come back." Tony said knowing something normally always happened while he was gone from the building and not keeping an eye on things. Seriously did he expect his building to stay in one piece with all the teenaged heroes that were in it and as well as the current residents like the hulk there. He stood up but had a hand on the wall to keep his balance up and make sure that he wouldn't fall over or have some sort of dizziness hit him.
Tony sighed as he heard something vibrate in his pocket as he recognized it as Quicksilver himself "In speaking of which Pietro's calling me. Not surprised since he seems to be the first one that has noticed I haven't returned to the building." Tony said as he turned on the on button to see how he'd answer. "Tony, Tony, I noticed you haven't come back to the Avengers tower is everything alright there?" He asked not fully aware that Tony was back at the X-Men's mansion.
"I'm ok for the most part I just have a massive headache. Also you'll never guess who I'm with right now that probably wants to say hi to you." Tony said as he looked back at the others as the speedster seemed to hesitate on trying to think of who he was with. It could have been anyone as far as he knew. "Wait a minute don't tell me, it's Carol right? I guess I forgot that you were going to go to the mansion after you left. Sorry about that." Pietro said as he seemed to be excited on the other end. He could have been there in a matter of minutes to go see her but she probably could use some time away from him if she wanted that.

Laurie blushed slightly from the comment and merely shook her head, "Trust me it can have it's up and downs Mr.Stark. On one hand I can get from here to across the country in minutes without so much as friction causing something bad or the altitude being of worry for a while. On the other I usually end up going without clothes for a while." Laurie explained rather bashfully towards the end as it was a bit clear she was self-conscious and knew depending on the person the attention such things could bring. This could be specially so to play boys like Tony had once been until he was with Yuki now.
But both girls seemed to exchange a glance at the mention of the Illuminati, mostly Carol being confused to the name. She had never heard it except on occasion but she never would have thought there would be an actual team named after it and the fact Tony and Xavier were both on it. "I've never heard of that Tony, guessing it's secret or something?"Carol said as Laurie seemed to jumped in right away, "It certainly is! I mean there's a lot of rumors in the intellectual community that it's a group made of the greatest minds the world and maybe the Universe could possibly offer. It's like bringing together the greatest minds and putting them together to try and solve problems most individuals alone or individual teams cannot do. Though as I said it's always been rumored but to hear the group exists is like hitting the lottery for some." Laurie said, obviously having done her research as usual. But it didn't surprise the neyaphem as Laurie always seemed to be reading around and studying or writing, and oddly enough she didn't just listen to classical music as some might think.
Though before Carol could say Tony wasn't being a burden she watched as he took out his ID card and she perked up in excitement at hearing that familiar voice. "It's good to hear your voice Pietro." Carol spoke up, the happiness being clear in her tone as she moved closer to be heard better as Laurie simply smiled. "And don't worry so much speedster, Tony just ended up hit in the head by me on accident. I'm sure one of us could fill you in on the details later when you can get the chance." Carol stated sheepishly, wishing Pietro could come over but she knew unfortunately it was highly unlikely since she still did have classes and she was uncertain if the staff would stop him from coming around since her relationship to the Avenger wasn't a secret any longer.
Seeing this though Laurie decided maybe she could help, "Carol when is your last class?" "I already had it, I just have a lot of homework." Carol answered looking quite quizzical. But before she had the chance to say anything else she yelped in surprise as Laurie suddenly picked her up, "Just see this as a favor, I'll handle your homework while you go see your boyfriend. Mr.Stark if you don't mind letting Quicksilver know I'll take Carol to the Avengers Tower." Laurie gave a quick nod of good bye before she flew out the door, her speed leaving quite a draft behind as she went to drop off Carol since she thought the neyaphem could use a little time away from the mansion.
(Not sure if you want to do just a follow up thread for Carol and Pietro Yankees, know it's been a while since we've done one for them.)

Ooc: Yeah we can end it with Tony's part and then probably do one in the Avengers building. He'll arrive back probably later that morning after grabbing a bite to eat.
Bic: Tony noticed her excitement as she heard Quicksilver's voice, it was clear he was worried. And he could've gone back to the mansion in a matter of seconds thanks to his speed. But he wasn't exactly fond of the place, especially with all the pain that the Brotherhood had suffered and gone through with the X-men. "Ah ok good to hear that it's nothing serious or he'll wind up in the hospital like last time." Pietro said through the microphone at least relieved to show that he was glad to see everything was alright with Tony. And even better that we didn't have to over react to everything once more. He did nod when he agreed to letting Carol into the Avengers building, "Of course, she's welcome to the Avengers building any time she wants to come over. And I'll let Pietro know. Pietro did you here that? Carol's coming over to visit you for a few hours so better get ready for it." Tony said as Pietro understood. "Ok I'll be waiting I would've normally gone over there get you and come back in a matter of seconds if you really wanted to come fast." Quiccksilver said with a bit of a chuckle. "Anways I'll see you soon." He said and the message began to die down soon and eventually the speedster turned it off so he could let Carol get ready and come over.
"As for the Illuminati you are right on a few things. Xavier and I as well as a few other masterminds are apart of the group. I honestly thought they disbanded because we haven't had anything change in the longest of times. No one has said anything or even had a meeting. Maybe it's because we're still in peaceful times." Tony said hoping that was the case. He didn't know the entire answer to that one. But it was clear on one thing, he had been apart of the team for some time, but who knew when they were going to gather again? Maybe when there were dangerous times? He could only wonder at that point. But as he knew, Dr. Strange preferred to be alone in his mansion, and he hadn't seen the man in some time. Maybe they could visit each other at one point, but it was kind of odd, he was on one end and then Strange was on the other. Tony was known for his technology an while Dr. Strange was for his magic. Anyways that was a thought for another day and now he needed to get some rest.
"Night guys I'm really getting some rest this time as of now. I know where the extra room are, so don't worry about me." Tony said as he let the girls go and do their own tasks while he rested. He still had his suit with him so he could've gotten out of the building as fast or when he choose he wanted to do that. He looked one more time at the others before noticing some looks that the other students were giving him as he went to the rooms. Well that was the celebrity life from being known just about everywhere. He was used to it.
