Hearing his worry Hope rested a hand on Francis' arm, giving him a reassuring smile, "Francis come on, we didn't come all this way just to have a cranky Tony stop us now. We've gotten this far we need to finish it." Hope told him, trying to help cheer the archer up a bit and hoped it'd help. But somehow she doubted it would as she took her hand away to begin eating. "Unfortunately might be best to eat, even if you don't have an appetite I don't think going several hours without food exactly will help." She informed him, recalling a few times in her own past when she felt sick from not eating so much or at all for long periods of time.
For now though her thoughts began to wander as she began to dig into her food, finding it rather delicious. The red head have to even stop herself from just eating too fast since she realized it even brought about how much more hungry she was with waiting for their food before. "As for me, think we'll be lucky to not be done within ten minutes."Hope joked.

"You've got a point," said Francis. He was pretty sure on what the punishments would be by the time he got back with Hope. Normally it was a long one that would keep them busy for a few days. He had always been the kind of trouble maker in the past and he usually was the one who had to clean the Quinjets after they had been in some form of mission. Cleaning them from top to bottom was not an easy task He had also been sick in the past a few times and had not eaten, it'd likely be true on what she said about not getting food for some time. "And you're right, there's no turning back at this point," said Francis as he agreed with her.
He began to eat but it was a bit slower than Hope as she seemed to like the meal that the diner had made. In a way it reminded him of the food that was in Tony's home. It was always cooked to perfection and he was rarely disappointed with it. And when Tony wanted a lavish dinner he'd certainly get one. of course the best treats had been when the Avengers went out for dinner in a fancy restaurant or just went out to go and get pizza for something different. He couldn't help but chuckle as he listened to what Hope had to say, "You definitely don't want hic ups either if you eat too fast." Francis warned her but it was also to be a joke.

Unlike Francis though Hope never really was a trouble maker or ever had the time to think of causing trouble. When you were a time traveling nomad and constantly in danger it never was a thought for a normal life and it was a life Hope hardly knew. She had only just gotten use to being in one place for so long with her true family and now she was trying to learn that with the Avengers. "Gotta admit though, this food isn't half bad." She said with a chuckle when hearing his joke as she tried to eat a bit slower but it was hard not to.
The red head recalled eating a light dinner the other night so she was pretty hungry too, and it almost was hard not to shovel it down. But she made sure she at least ate at a decent speed and after a while she finished before also drinking the remainder of her hot chocolate. "Well that was certainly delicious,"She said with a satisfied sigh.

It wasn’t long before Francis finished and had been done for eating. He knew all that was left now was to pay for the bill, he had brought a bit of money with him since he knew that he was going to be out for awhile. Of course that also made him a target. Francis was aware if you brought a lot of money with you from time to time it was a chance that a robber would possibly be after you. But of course you were dealing with an archer; he knew well to defend himself in such situations from the training that the Avengers had given him from the younger ears. If he hadn’t taken that path so long ago, things probably would have been different for them. “That was good. Looks like you were right on the food, Hope.” He agreed now having a full stomach since it had been growling back at him for some time.
“If we weren’t traveling right now I would have said that it’s time for a nap. But that’s too bad since we can’t stop so soon. We’ve come a long way from our travels.” Francis said knowing that falling asleep now would be a bad idea. They had so much to do and not to mention the last thing he wanted was for Tony to yell at them for staying longer than they had intended too. He’d be worried, and no doubt the others would take notice that there were two Avengers were missing.

"Told you it was good,"Hope said with a smile as she glanced at the waitress once she brought the bill to which the young red head picked up before Francis had a chance to. Though it would have been common courtesy for the archer to have paid Hope knew he had done a lot since they left the Avengers Tower so it seemed only fair she pulled her weight around this mission. "Yea, a nap be good but even then I'm rearing to go even if this was just a traveling thing of a break or vacation."She chuckled, knowing she usually was enthusiastic regardless of a mission or just a vacation and pulled out some of her own money and paid the needed amount before the woman came back to take it. Now that was settled they now had more pressing matters to look into.
Glancing towards the poster she then looked back at Francis with a serious look, "But Francis it's not too late to turn around and return home if you want. If your having second thoughts now might be the time to consider them because when we got to that circus there's no stopping from there." She warned him, hoping he'll seriously consider his options before truly being sure this is what he wanted. Not that she wanted to deter the archer from what he came there for but she wanted to be sure he was willing to commit to this all the way. She was ready to back him on anything he decided.

Francis was a bit surprised as Hope had taken the bill before he had. He was going to do it but it seemed like she was quicker than he was. True though if they were on vacation a nap would have certainly fit the bill-no pun in tended. But they had a few things to do on their to do list before that could happen. Not to mention the older Avengers would probably worry about them for being gone for so long. "Yeah we've got several things to do first before we can take a nap. That's the only problem." Francis agreed.
Francis shook his head, they had come all this way for what? To turn around and leave empty handed? And Tony wanted a report too. Just to say they had breakfast at a nice local diner probably wasn't going to interest the older man about what they had come across. But the thought of meeting the one who had trained his father in archery and then later passed it on to him would be great news to find especially since he had been so curious about his father's past. "No I'm certain of going Hope. There's no turning back now. Besides we wouldn't have much to give back to Tony since he requested a full on report." Francis replied to Hope. Though she was right on one thing, they could as well be walking into danger, and what if they couldn't handle it? It wasn't like Tony or the others could get there within seconds to help them. They'd be on their own for this.

"I wanted to be sure first is all Francis, since any doubt could compromise what you came to find out. We came all this way it's best to be sure we're both ready to stick to our guns and be ready for anything that may hit us ahead." Hope said with a smile, showing she wasn't ready to turn back either she was just being certain her teammate and friend was also up for continuing this mission. Now with the bill paid the young red head stood and looked towards the poster, "Seems the circus is at the fair grounds here in this town so guess that's where we're going." She said to him when looking at the address on the poster and slipped out from the booth before heading out of the diner towards the hovercraft.

"You have a good point there, Hope. We might be walking in to danger as well. This could have been one of the reasons why Tony was so mad at us for leaving earlier. he was worried for our safety." Francis said as he thought about things through. He certainly hoped that he wouldn't have to call the Avengers any time soon. that was going to be a really bad emergency if they couldn't get out of their problem right away. As his mother had always said one of these things to him as a child, he and Hope would have to tread lightly.
"Well luckily we have something that can take us too it. Still have the hovercraft ready to go." Francis said knowing that if some how the craft had been taken or stolen. They might as well have to find another way to get home. For get about your own transportation. There might be away across through a bus or a taxi. It might take a bit longer but it was at least one way home. At this rate the hovercraft could probably take them to the circus within ten minutes or so depending on how far away it was. Usually there wasn't too much air traffic these days, so they didn't have to worry about getting caught behind something or stuck in traffic. They pretty much had a free ride at this rate to where they were going. So with that Francis started to make his way towards the hovercraft but paused to see if Hope was coming or unless there was something else that she wanted to look at before they left..

"Francis come on this is Tony, really the Avengers in general that worry about us all the time. We're the next generation of Avengers after all and most of you guys are their kids so they'd worry all the time." Hope said as she followed him out of the diner and towards the hovercraft, but there did seem some wonder in her expression and tone. Sometimes she wondered if she would just be an Avenger her whole life or wind up like Wolverine, Hank McCoy, and Storm in being part of the X-men as well. It was who her own father, well adoptive father, had worked with and told her about all this time about the team and it was probably going to be a shock that she was on a much different team.
Stopping at the hovercraft she nodded slightly, "Hopefully it shouldn't take us that long to find the place. And let's just hope we're not walking into something." She said as she moved onto the back seat of the hovercraft, letting Francis drive once more knowing he knew how to drive it while she did far better with weapons and wheeled vehicles.

"You've got a point there." Francis said with a soft nod. Plus they were their parents, they kind of had to worry. He would recall many times when his mom or dad worried about him when he had done some sort of dangerous stunt. After thinking this through on what she had said Francis seemed to understand now that there was no turning back and as well as no giving up now. They were going to meet this man that had trained his father and down to him next. He wondered if his own kids one day would be interested in archery just as he was. "I hope so as well. It looks like it should be easy to spot from where we are in the sky." He agreed as he reeved up the engine of the hovercraft. It wouldn't be long before he lifted the hovercraft into the air and they began to make their way towards the circus.
Ooc: Should we do a time skip here to where they get to the circus? It'd help get things moving along.

It was some minutes later after the two had been flying for a little while before Hope finally had spotted something. Certainly there was no mistaking a circus with the big tops or the many different attractions and rides, which made her assume this was the place. "Think this must be the place down there Francis, looks like things are still going on below too so we might be in luck." Hope said as her eyes scanned the fair grounds, seeing the several different families and seeing this place was quite a popular attraction indeed. "Well, looks like we may have a long search ahead of us."
