Hello everyone!
Ly emailed me recently and told me you were looking for a few canon Marvel characters. I'm a BIG comics fan, and if allowed, I would like to play both Cyclops and Captain America if that's cool. I plan on submitting applications for both characters soon, I just wanted to introduce myself first so it wouldn't come across as a surprise or some such.

Sweet welcome to the site Chris! I play Logan and Stark here (As well as a bunch of other characters like Francis/Hawkeye II), so it'd be fun to interact with those two in a roleplay I imagine. But yeah we really need those two characters badly so feel free to take them.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Just a few questions before I start working on my applications.
-While Cap's status quo rarely changes, I kinda want to know what of current Marvek is affecting this RP. I saw the Jean Grey School was a thing, as is Hope, so should I factor in the events of Schism, AvX and the current X-books? Renegade Cyclops definitely leads into some interesting areas.
-Re:Hawkeye. I'm VERY tempted to claim Clint as well, as he's my boy, but don't want to mess with anyone else's plots. However, a quick recap of what his current status quo, and what ever happened to Kate Bishop would be appreciate.
-Same with Scott and Steve. Do either of them have childrens running around I should know about. Aside from your Rachels/Cables/Rubys/kinda Nate Greys?

Also that'd be a big yay in my book if you took Clint. It'd imagine he'd be an important Avenger plus I roleplay his kid. Francis' mother is currently Barbra Morris but it seems like their relationship went sour after the two divorced and that kind of got Francis in his depression. I imagine things might get better for the two of them-he's also embarking on a trip to find out more about Clint's past at the current moment to find out how he became an archer.
As for Scott and Steve they do have children. We're adding in members from the Young Avengers along with other series where the heroes/villains have children in this story so it's more like a futuristic plot that is going on. Everything is taking 15 years in the future.
I at least hoped that answered some of your questions. I'm sure Sarah and Koryn could add to this if I missed anything.

If it's of any use, the forum does say that it takes place on Earth 555326, though I'm still trying to learn where exactly the plot separates from the canon and where it's going after that.

Far as I know Schism and AvX never happened in this universe, which when it comes to the thing with Hope I edited a lot of her history and powers to tone her down slightly. Though there is also some influence from the MC2 Universe, which is where we get the 15 years later from. Estimating this I'd say before the events of M-day and Civil War is my best guess.

Yeah I know Sarah had an idea that Neila would meet Francis' dad at some point if someone would ever play them. That'd be so interesting to see how things turn out.

Alright, so I'll take Clint to, but probably use him in a support roll until I can think of a storyline or something.
Also looking at the application over, would it be cool if I just did an RP sample for all 3 characters in the same scenario. It's just easier for me in the long run.

Sure Chris, in fact you can do that if you want for your first character and it'd save you time to do it for the others you do. Really, you only need the sample for the first app to begin with. So have at it.

In the Character Registration Area under all the sub-boards, just go down to the bottom of the screen and click New Thread and there you go.
