Troublesome Thoughts (Yuki)

"I thought I was the one who was supposed to give orders? Anyways, I heard you." Tony asked but there was a slight joke side to it. He knew that his wasn't exactly the greatest time for it. But what else could they do? They were fighting Doom for goodness sake. And it wasn't like Doom to let them walk out of his home for no reason. There was certainly going on. "The only one giving orders here is me! Now my Doombots, attack!" A voice boomed as they were fleeing. It was Doom, Tony recognized it far too easily as he knew what would happen next.

A group of robots started to fire in their direction as Tony flew ahead of Yuki, "Jarvis put up a Shield for us now!" Tony called out as he formed a black and golden shield around the trio as the fired cannons bounced right off of them. Of course Tony knew that a confrontation with Doom was going to be unavoidable. If he was going to fight Doom one on one, one of them was not going to come out unscathed. And it was most likely him. "Shield down to 70 percent power sir." Jarvis said. He knew it wouldn't be long before he could see cracks in the shield. As the power level went down, the energy behind the shield would become weaker and weaker.

Tony's mouth was dropped open, although you couldn't exactly see it. He had his helmet covering his face in order to avoid on coming attacks to the face. "Wow. I'm never looking at her the same again." Tony said as he snapped himself to focus on what was and hand. He could see that his shield was dropping fast, it went from 70, 65, 60, and...then it stopped. As the cracks were starting to form that was when Yuki had taken control of the machines one by one. Doom was slowly loosing the upper hand at this as Yuki had managed to take control over nearly all the items. He hoped at least that she would be able to make it back for the ride home. That might mean he'd have to carry her.

None the less as there was silence between the four of them, Doom finally put up a hand, "Fine. Leave before I change my mind. Stark I'm pretty sure you don't need me to lead you to the exit." Doom said as he began to leave as the robots were shut down. They no longer had life in them. It was clear as day since their energy source had been drained by Doom. "Well that was just wow...Yuki...But he's right. We need to get out of here before Doom considers something else while we're still here. I need to repair my armor as well since it's still badly sparking from a fight earlier." Tony said as he looked back at her ready to leave when she was. It was time to head home.

Tony was not far behind from Yuki and always had an eye on her in case she couldn't run anymore. Soon they'd run out of land obviously since they were in another part of the World. There was silence between them for a long time before Tony took a deep breath, "Yuki to be honest. I was once in the same spot that happened back there. I had tried to keep my armor hidden from public view for such a long time. Then one day I decided it was time to tell the world that I was Ironman." Tony said realizing how closely similar that they both were to when it came to hiding their abilities and what they could do. Tony knew one day he'd have to tell the world of who he was and it seemed to work out. Other times he had asked his friend Rhodes to put in for him wearing War Machine in order to make it look like the person behind Ironman was still there.

"Yuki you don't have to be a hero if you do not desire it." Tony said as he lifted up his face mask in order to see her properly. "If the hero path isn't your stile then you don't have to take it. But if you leave I'll miss you. But I will do one thing. I'll make sure so that others can not find you or even know that you were here. The likes of SHIELD won't even know." Tony said already fearing that she would leave. And Jarvis would know it too. It meant heart break for the both of them. Finally he couldn't help himself as he came over to her side and hugged her in his arms. His suit was warm from the use for the past couple of hours but it was an odd feeling probably. Still the thought lingered of never seeing Yuki again came to his mind. He'd never be the same again without her.

"Yuki being scared is of who we are. Even I get scared from time to time. Even if I don't show it right away. I'll help you out of these situations. I promise." He said seeing that she wanted to be out of the embrace and let her go as he watched her. Tony felt sorry for Yuki as he wanted to do his best to comfort and support her at the same time. Though he had to admit that he was relieved that she wouldn't leave all of a sudden out of the blue. But still Tony would keep his word on protecting Yuki no matter what the cost was. He already had done such a job with his heart, he had protected it in order to stay alive and make sure he still existed. Now, how hard could it be then with Yuki?
