The week came and went as Tony was growing bored with the hospital life and didn't seem to understand why he was there as they kept him in until Friday evening. Friday was drawing closer and closer as Thursday was upon New York. Tony flew through the city as Ironman in his familiar yellow and black suit since his recent paint job. Tony had also gone this way for some important reasons feeling only a few could answer. He wanted to learn more about this out of body experience that he had at the hospital when he blacked out and also wanted to see how Horus was doing. Compared to the two of them Tony was in better shape, all be it that he hadn't exactly had a proper sleeping schedule because of the torture that he had in his mind for most of the days that he had been there but his wounds had recovered most of the way or the hospital had bandaged them up. He left Manhattan behind as he began to head towards the familiar X-Mansion, normally he wasn't exactly allowed there due to the lack of powers, but he had befriended many of the heroes that were there like Wolverine who was also a part time Avenger but he was also in acquaintance with Xavier for being on the Illuminati group so many years ago. It felt like that group had disbanded at least that's what he thought.
It was also hard to believe that this was where it all began, Tony came here half beaten and grinded to a pulp after a fight with Exodus who was Magneto's right hand man. It was clear that the redskinned mutant was not a laughing matter as he managed to beat one of the older Avengers without lifting a finger. At times he wondered at all how he managed to get some sleep without the constant battles within his head replaying over and over again. Regret filled him some times as he wished he could do more for Horus and the pity he had for Magneto. He tried to shake those emotions away as he knew that things were going to look good for them in the future. He had to stay positive, well not too positive anyways. It wasn't long before he spotted the mansion as he began to land and shut off his flight system in his suit once his feet hit the ground. The familiar armor that was around his body slowly disappeared and molded into the suitcase that he had modified to the armor. As he set foot into the ground of the mansion, he looked up noticing how quiet it was for a Thursday. He narrowed his eyes as he felt like something was a miss or simply out of place. "Logan? It's me Tony." He asked as he walked forward but when he did the brush moved as something lept out of the brush nearby so fast Tony didn't exactly have a chance to react as Logan barrled down on him pusing Tony so he faced one of the trees and was cornered by it, as the mutant wolf stood behind him..
He did have to admit it was pretty terrifying at first, "Logan come on it's me!" He called out as he tried to move the man off of him but it was clear that the admantium skeleton was very strong as it seemed to useless. But he realized that Logan wasn't ready to strike him so suddenly, as he instead checked his scent taking a long pause as he wanted for an answer. "Yep it's you." Logan said as he got up from Tony as he gave him a hand to stand back up. "That wasn't exactly necessary you know Logan." Tony said as he rubbed his shoulder where Logan had tackled him. "Can't be too careful these days now can you." Logan said as he looked back at the Avenger as he picked up the suitcase that Tony had dropped to his side. "I suppose not." Tony said as he picked up his suitcase that he had lost when he was tackled him a bit embarrassed by it. But it was true on several accounts, Tony for one had known that Logan was a very skilled tracker and knew how to hide himself within the foliage even if there wasn't any camouflage around.
"You're here for a reason or a purpose. It's not every day that you come walking in like this. especially after your rescue." Logan said as he looked back at his team mate. If he found out that his friend was lying he'd surely be able to tell that there was no escaping that part. But Tony had a few things in mind that he was here for. "I wanted to talk to Xavier about something. That is if he home. I also came to see how Horus was doing." Tony explained as Logan seemed to be silent, but instead he was using his mind to see if their telepathic leader was home and it'd take a bit. "Let me see if I can contact him." Logan said in a soft mutter. All Tony could do now was wait to see if anyone was willing to let him in. If he didn't have any answers here for his experience earlier, he would go to others to see if he could find out more. Magic and mystical problems were not in his realm of expertise which was hard to imagine. It was obvious that the saying here science and magic do not mix was indeed correct.

Tony wasn't the only one who was out and about after being stuck in a hospital bed for nearly a week now. Surprisingly Horus was walking around and about a little, but he had helped occasionally from others just to get around some places, like the stairs or when he got tired. He still needed time to recover enough he didn't need that help and so far that was at least a week or so away before that'd happen. Today though Horus was having some support from his brother's girlfriend, Carol Evergreen since she was in a sense family though perhaps not officially as of yet. But she was giving him aid to walk around the gardens since he had hoped to get some fresh air and the nurses wouldn't allow it without someone watching him so Carol had been nice enough to help him out in being there with his brother likely being busy right now.
"Thanks a lot Carol, you've been a big help." Horus said, for now sitting on one of the stone benches and admiring the gardens which were rather nice this time of year. Nearby Carol merely smiled as she leaned against a railing preventing her from reaching the flowers and used to make sure no one went messing with the flower beds. If they did usually Ororo was quick to scold them for ruining her gardening and hard work she put into taking care of the plants. "No big deal Horus, least I could do. Besides, you hardly can move with your body in that state. Still makes me surprised the nurses let you leave at all." She said, seeing that he was still heavily bandaged, sore, and stiff from the long days of enduring his own torture. But Horus merely waved a hand, "They don't like it but sometimes fresh air can go a long way you know." He said but it wasn't long before he heard some commotion and Carol reacted at that time too of sensing someone approaching, someone who was not a mutant but seemed faintly familiar.
Exchanging a glance CArol stood and helped Horus to his feet, having his good arm over her shoulders and guiding the draconic mutant out of the gardens and towards where they heard the commotion in the back yard. Sure enough there was Logan standing and talking with the familiar face of Tony Stark. Horus was relieved to see the man was well enough he could operate his suits again but it was clear he wasn't completely healed from the bandages he still bore. It took everything he had not to rush Carol who went as fast as she could with the young man, "Tony! It's good to see you out and about again." Horus called before they finally reached them, giving the main a slightly pained smile since he was still rather sore and the rushing didn't help either. And it was obvious Carol thought so too as she gave him a stern look for pushing himself too much. "I swear, you definitely are like Pietro Horus I have to tell him to slow it down too." Carol said, shaking her head slightly as she looked at Tony and gave a quick nod to him. "Nice to finally meet you Mr.Stark, and glad to see your looking better."She said to him, giving him a kind smile.
"Oh yea, guess we forgot introductions. Tony this is Carol Evergreen and Carol this is Tony Stark." Horus said quickly, having forgotten the two hadn't met yet as Carol just shrugged. But she could sense Tony was there to seek out something which made the young neyaphem look at him curiously. "Something on your mind Mr.Stark? Your thoughts seem rather muddled about something."

“Chuck seems to be busy at the time I am guessing that he has other plans.” Logan said not getting a response from Xavier and that wasn’t uncommon as Xavire was a buisy man. And Tony nodded understanding that his questions may have to wait unless he could find someone else to talk about it. Tony didn’t have much knowledge in the spiritual department. He normally left that to the experts in that field like Xavier and as well as Doctor Strange and he’d stick to what he knew best, his technology. But even he had on occasions to cross paths with things that he was not familiar with. It had happened throughout his life several times already. “I understand.” He said with a soft nod. But since Xavier was not around that left to plan B on visiting Horus to see how the young mutant was doing. As they came forward it was like Horus had spotted him and Logan first. “It’s good to see you again Horus. I see you’re starting to recover as well. I got so bored at the hospital that I ended up going on a short flight with my suit just to keep my entertainment level down.” Tony said but knowing him it was probably the same for Horus but upon the injuries it was clear that he hadn’t done much to try and do so many dangerous fleets as Tony had tried to keep himself from falling into a set of boredom.
Then Horus went to introduce the girl that was next to him as he smiled back to Carol, he recalled Pietro talking about Carol several times as it was clear to everyone that the speedster was a chatterbox. The speedster did not stop talking no matter what the case was or even his set of emotions. He had heard the name Carol more than once but now he was meeting the girl behind the name for the first time and he could see why he liked her so much. She was certainly pretty. Tony being a play boy himself had to put those days behind him since he had a fiancé of his own to get back to at Stark Industries, he could only imagine that Yuki was worried sick about him for being gone for so long. It had been the first time they were apart for an incredibly long time and they had some catching up to do. “It’s nice to finally meet you Carol. Pietro talked about you on occasions back at the Avenger’s Tower. He seems to have a lot of dedication towards staying with you.” Tony said as he gave Carol a soft smile back. But as the talk was getting under way it seemed that Logan had to get going and leave temporarily. “I hate to say it kids but I gotta get going back on the patrol. If you need me just holler.” Logan said as he dashed off into the wilderness at Tony gave a soft shrug seeing that Logan was gone yet again. That mutant couldn’t stay still for long. “Not much of a man of words that’s for sure.” He said but when Carol spoke up again about something on his mind that was certainly true about one thing.
“I came here for two reasons to be honest. I wanted to see how Horus was doing and as well as one thing that’s been bothering me since I woke up in the hospital. I had a dream before I woke up and one other Future Foundation member had said I had an ‘out of body experience’ that had been triggered because I was so close to death. I wanted to learn more about it because I don’t know a ton of information about that area of the mind. I thought Xavier could help but Logan said he was busy.” Tony said wondering if he wouldn’t get his answers today since the professor was out busy doing something else. It was true though that Tony had come at an unexpected time. Students were still in school before they’d be able to come out and have some free time on the weekends. He’d try later on if he didn’t get the information that he needed.

"I was bored too, but I still need a little help now and again to get around of course. And well...my wings were clipped so no flying for me for a few weeks, maybe more." Horus said, spreading his wings carefully to show Tony they too were damaged extensively, mostly by Analisa cutting through the thin membranes with her tail tip. That had hurt sometimes the most of all since the areas were thin and sensitive, the most likely place he'd lose blood when in his scaled form compared to the rest of his body. So she had made sure he suffered, that was quite clear in all the bandages he had and his movements of pain and stiffness from not so much movement on his side. It was a necessary evil to be cooped up though otherwise he could risk reopening the wounds he currently had if he moved the wrong way.
Both though watched as Logan headed off and Carol couldn't help blushing with hearing Pietro seemed quite fond of talking about here. Up until the point Magneto had visited the mansion she had been rather quiet about it until it became rather clear there was something between her and the speedster and that was when she came clean. Kitty likely wouldn't be happy the most of all the staff, especially since she was her field leader and adhered to the rules quite often. Heck, Carol was still only seventeen which meant she still had to wait before her and Pietro could take things a step further between them. But it didn't seem like a problem so far. "Well I'm glad you get to meet me in person then Mr.Stark, I hope Pietro hasn't talked your ears off. He tends to do that a lot I hear." She said with a chuckle, listening to his next explanation which made her perk up slightly which earned her a look from Horus.
"You know something Carol?"Horus asked, looking curious himself as she nodded. "I might." She answered, helping Horus to lean against a tree as she turned towards Tony. "It's been said sometimes a psychic imprint can last when a person dies Mr.Stark, allowing one's spirit to remain on this Earth or have a connection with the people they love." Carol told him as she flicked her tail, "And if this person told you quite a bit then I'm sure you know some of the mechanics behind it. But astral projection is rather similar only you get to come back to your body." After she said this Carol closed her eyes and began to activate her newly found ability, only some months old after the fountain quest and her body collapsed to the ground as her astral form appeared, at the moment invisible before she walked on the etheral plane to Tony and rested a hand upon him so he could see her as if she was still in her body. But this time she was like a faint red ghost in front of him, her eyes solid white as she smiled at the old Avenger.
'See, it's kind of weird and cool at the same time. My astral form is basically my spirit leaving my body, thus its been said to be quite similar to an out of body experience where one's spirit has just left their body for a time but that doesn't mean your dead entirely.' Carol explained, speaking through her telepathy so Tony could hear her as Horus watched but could not see Carol at this time.

“Yes being bored is probably one of the worst things to go through.” Tony said though it was a partial joke on that one. He and Horus had been through a lot so it seemed like there was nothing that could beat up to those horrible torturing moments. Though a part of him couldn’t help but wonder why Magneto had not killed him on the spot. He knew Magneto hated humans so why didn’t he just do it? Or did he see how much of a threat Tony was sometimes when he was around. Well without his suit he had no powers, nothing at his hands to stop Magneto from torturing him like he had done so many times.
Though he nodded when Carol had mentioned Pietro, true the speedster loved to talk. It was like it came with his mutant powers and you could not shut it off on him. The only person, who seemed to get him to stop talking was Wanda or Carol but it seemed like some of the heroes he knew, didn’t mind the chatterbox speedster with his talk. He had to admit though Pietro did have brains and was intelligent. He probably got that side from his father from what he had concluded. “I don’t mind it all the time. He’s usually in an upbeat mood which the Avengers need from time to time you know?” Tony said knowing the Avengers could use that side of him from time to time when they were down. However when Carol seemed to recognize this mentioning that he had done earlier. It made sense, his father had died and maybe that love had left an imprint on him? But as far as he knew, his father had been human, how could he have all of a sudden gained mutant abilities? He’d just never understand that part.
The next part would blow his mind even further as Carol left her body and dropped to being what seemed like she was unconscious. But really she was entering the astral plane where he saw her telepathically which made him almost stumble in his steps. Tony wasn’t exactly used to the telepathic parts of things and this really surprised him. “Woah sorry you just startled me is all.” He explained seeing Carol as he grabbed onto one of the branches for support as he gained his wits. You think by now he would have seen the weirdest of things but not today. This just blew the genius’ mind.
But once he had his wits together he looked back at Carol as she spoke to him. His thoughts projected back, “I see it makes sense. I wonder if my close call to death triggered my father’s imprint on me. Like all parents we had our tough times. But I think we grew closer when my mother had died since it was just the two of us. Well thank you Carol for helping me understand this. I’m nowhere near of an expert in this field like you or Xavier is. It’s one of the fields that I would certainly need help at.” Tony said as he looked back at her giving Carol’s form a smile. At first, Tony had assumed at first that Horus could see them; then again he might not be able too in this telepathic form of theirs. It was only through thoughts and they had a field of their own to go on.

'Anything is possible My.Stark. It's likely just a psychic imprint of your parents or what they left before they died, it's a phenomenon many paranormal groups have come to believe or those we know as mediums. I'd recommend looking into it since it's a little fascinating.' Carol said to him with a smile. Though there was definitely some amusement in her face to Tony's reaction of her astral form, likely because he didn't expect it. She figured since he had been around people like that of Doctor Strange and maybe Doctor Doom or Thor he'd be use to such strange things as she was doing now but apparently that was not the case. Regardless, it was a little comical to his reaction.
Though Horus, unlike Tony, could not see Carol since she wasn't making a telepathic connection to him or including him. But he was quite fine with that as he leaned against the tree and allowed his body some form of rest. He did notice Tony's curiosity aura though and chuckled slightly, "If your wondering if I can hear what's going on Tony I sadly haven't a clue. My guesses are whatever you came here looking for answers of." He told him as he tilted his head back, looking up through the leaves at the sky as the two talked. But at the back of his mind Horus felt a nagging feeling almost, like someone was lurking through his mind without him knowing until just now. Though he was not trained in any way to have a mental defense he had been taught to detect it if he could, and this one he was definitely beginning to sense which made Horus look around slightly.
It was at the moment that Carol broke contact and returned to her body she heard Horus roar out in pain, seeing him grab his head and ignoring his pain. "Horus!" Carol hurried towards the draconic mutant but stopped when seeing his aura manipulation going at work. "Stay back!" Horus growled, sending a blast at Carol that made her yell as she was blasted backwards and slammed right into Tony with great enough force to knock them both over. But the concussive blast knocked Carol out temporarily, preventing her from intervening in stopping the mental attack on Horus.
This was the work of a minor telepath, Horus knew that for sure and the faint voice that spoke up of finally finding him only cemented what Horus had feared: some of sinister's henchmen. Look back at Tony Horus regretfully rushed off into the foliage, his adrenaline kicking in so much the pain became numb and he didn't realize some of the scabs opened up and drops of blood came off his body as he made his way to the fence surrounding the mansion. He had to find whoever it was that found him and take care of them, especially since he knew this meant Taji could be at risk and he didn't want that to happen. The draconic mutant knew he made a promise nothing would happen to her, not as long as he was around and he'd keep that promise no matter what it took. And despite his condition Horus climbed over the metal fence, landing on the other side and began taking off in a run down the road, trying to catch a whiff of the henchmen.

“Yes I will take some time in the future to look in to it. Thank you, Carol, for answering a few questions that I had. I was looking for Xavier, but this was a lot more than I was expecting.” Tony said. Though it should have been true that Xavier and Dr. Strange would have given him a taste of physics and the physical plane for himself but he barely had any experience on his own. But he really hadn’t and he wanted to learn more. When he was researching it seemed to be very interested and dedicated to his topics. Even his Ironman suit took tons of research when he was working on it. “She was just right here Horus. I guess only a few people can see her when the time is right.” Tony said not knowing the true answer to that question. But it was true he had gotten some answers in this quest to find out more. Just over two days he found enough but he’d definitely have to do more, like he had said.
The blast that was sent out knocked both of them over as she fell right on top of him. His heart pounded in his chest as he blacked out. Btu it was clear that something wasn’t right as Horus dashed away leaving the two unconscious. It wasn’t long before Logan came over after hearing his roar from earlier. “Tony, Carol!” He called back to them as he saw the two on the ground unconscious. Tony’s suit had been knocked to the ground He rushed over to pick Tony up carefully and laid him back down on the ground in a better position. Then Wolverine went to Carol to move her next to help. If he had gotten there a bit faster things may have been worse as Wolverine would have been knocked out as well, but he may not have suffered a badly since Xavier had worked hard on putting up several barriers so intruders could not get in that easily.
Tony started to come around as Logan had gone off to get his suit that had been flung in some other direction. “Tony.” Logan said as he came over to his friend seeing that he had a hand put over his head. “Talk about a massive headache right now.” He said rubbing his head. It was clear that he was in no position to fight even if he wanted too. If the nurses were around they would have no doubt told him not to try anything risky especially with his suit to cause more stress. If anything that would have been a huge addition to the stress that he would have gotten in a fight. “You’re not bleeding or anything but I imagine that’ll be a bad bruise later. Some ice will do the trick.” Logan said as Tony remained sitting as Logan went over to where Carol was as he checked her pulse to see how she was doing.
“I really hope Horus is alright. He got out of here real fast, and he’s nowhere in a condition to be on his own.” Tony said as he continued to rub his temple to ease some of the pain. Not thinking about it was going to be a bit of a help. But it had probably been one of the worst headaches he had ever suffered through. “It’s definitely troublesome. If anything happens to him it means that the other X-Men will be involved as well once they find out.” Logan said seeing that he was relived at least for a bit seeing that Carol still had a pulse and was alive. She was still knocked out and didn’t know exactly how long it’d be until she came back.

It took Carol a little longer to recover, having taken most of the blast from Horus' sudden outburst but nonetheless she wasn't harmed too badly. A groan escaped her as she blinked a few times, taking a moment for her eyes to focus before everything was no longer blurry but it was clear she had taken quite the hit and slowly sat up, finding Logan was back and Tony was getting back on his own feet. But there was someone missing..."Horus..."Carol slowly got to her feet, stumbling a bit but quickly gaining her strength and realizing someone else was in the area, four people in fact and she could sense Horus was heading right towards them. "Logan there's others in the area, four of them and Horus is heading right for them. In his condition he won't last long." Carol said with worry looking like she was about to head off to help.
Horus, meanwhile, was moving as fast as he could, some of his wounds having opened slightly and left small drops of blood as he moved. But every sense he had was focused on tracking these people, the one who was invading his mind he knew for a fact would have other protecting them. It was how Sinister worked, having his henchmen in groups and usually had a few tracking teams which he had no doubts this was one. Though he likely wouldn't last long the young man already was in his draconic form, scales covering his skin and causing several bandages to become loose or fall off from the tips cutting through and his claws ready to strike.
After a few more minutes of running though he came across the group who were ready to face the man. "Time to come home, Horus. About time you got your just desserts for abandoning Sinister." One said with a wicked grin as the three muscles of the group rushed at Horus and began fighting blow for blow but with his adrenaline pumping throughout his body Horus fought back pretty well, using his claws and greater strength to out do them and slashing them down to size until he had beaten the three within minutes but couldn't go for the last as he collapsed, his wounds beginning to get to him and the pain making it difficult to stay in a feral state he was in. The telepath, though weak compared to others, stood over him, focusing on Horus' mind and began to attack the defenses he tried to place making him yell out as the man wasn't exactly gentle about it.

Seeing that Carol was starting to come around as well it was clear that the two would be alright on her own. Logan looked back at Carol and nodded, “I’ll be back and I’ll make sure that Horus comes back in one piece too. You’re definitely right on that one.” Logan said as he dashed off into the woods as he began to move the pieces gently to the side. Logan wasn’t about to let them track his scent as he made it so there was practically no sign of him being there.
Logan continued to track down to see where Horus had gone. The scent of the other members stunk horribly as one of them possibly had too much colon on and it was pretty obvious. The brutes were completely unfair for having Once he arrived on the spot he brought out his claws out making the familiar ‘snikt’ noise that he normally made with them. He could see that the other mutant overpowers Horus easily in the time that he was gone as he approached him from behind, “Why don’t you pick on someone that can actually put up a fight coward.” Logan growled as he brought out his claws and began to send them straight down for the man’s back. It was clear he was not going to kill this man because it went against Xavier’s rules that they had to follow. They could not kill and Logan would make sure that Horus was avenged, no matter how much it would take. “Listen bub, I’m not about to let you take him away if that’s what you were planning on doing.” He said with a warning voice.
As Tony came around he seemed to still be hanging on to his head where the headache was, “I don’t suppose you know how to relieve headaches Carol?” He asked as he tried to stand this time but he felt like he stumbled as he stood realizing that this was a bad idea. He sat back down again as he tried to get his bearings back. “And I’m in no condition to fight, either. But I’m pretty sure Logan is.” He added as he looked back at Carol to see how she was doing. Tony put his back up against the tree as he tried to recover but it was clear he needed medical attention at some point for this blasted headache. It wasn’t going to go away easily at the rate that he was going. He held onto his suit with one hand, feeling a bit protective and also it was a bit out of habit. If his suit had been taken, he wouldn’t exactly have a way to defend himself

The mutant yelled in pain from Logan's claws raking down his back, making the telepath stumble slightly and actually back away in surprise. But the attack was enough it gave Horus a little time to recover from the telepathic attack, one that felt like a knife had been stabbing at him on the outside too. "Why don't you butt out feral! This has nothing to do with you or your blasted X-men." The telepath tried to sound tough but it was clear as day he was scared and in severe pain from the claws and it likely wasn't going to last long for a confrontation. "This involves only taking this pile of failure back to Sinister." The man spat as his fellows were out and one likely lying dead nearby since he had deep claw wounds and hadn't moved much.
Horus nearby growled as he began trying to stand, but it was an obvious struggle from the added pain due to the fight they had just had. "I'll never go back, I'm not some lap dog for Sinister and neither am I some lab experiment he can terminate." Horus said with a growl, forcing himself to stand as he also thought of Taji, not wanting these goons to know she was there at the school. "Hehehe, you really think you can hide that sorry whelp too, Horus? The girl will be next!" The man taunted which only infuriated Horus again as he fired a blast of aura energy and sent the man slamming into a tree, knocking him out.
"Well there's always headache pills." Carol said, rubbing her own head a bit as she moved over to Tony, kneeling beside him and seeing he might have a bruise form eventually. "Sorry about that Tony, I wasn't expecting Horus to suddenly go berserk like that. The attack caught me off guard." She told him as she rested a hand on his shoulder. "Sometimes I wish I had Nightcrawler's teleportation, otherwise I'd get something for that headache sooner."

"Are you kidding me? I know what it's been like to be tortured and to be experimented on. What the hell do you think Weapon X did to me? In a way we are quiet similar." Logan said with a snarl back to the telepath showing that he was not playing around. He knew that Horus had to be out of this safely in time and make sure that the two of them got out alive. Yes, Logan had a healing factor but Horus did no. He saw the fear in the telepath's eyes as he started to approach him more ready to swipe at them once more. Once Horus stood up he began to fire the energy blast towards the telepath. He had to admit he was incredibly annoying.
Logan looked back seeing as Horus was standing and alright as of now. But no doubt he needed more recovery time before he would be fine. "Is that the last of them?" He asked. A bit of a dumb question to ask but he had a point. The humans out here were getting too close to Xavier's home. And if they were any closer he was going to call in the team for help. But for now he looked back at Horus as he gave him sympathy. "What I said was true earlier. Weapon X whipped my memory clean in hopes that they'd never find them again. But I'm certain that they're out there some where and hiding. In a way Horus, we are similar as much as I hate to admit it." Logan said with a soft sigh.
There was indeed a bruise forming where Tony had been hit in the head but he nodded, "It's ok Carol. I can wait. Even a piece of ice would do for now against my head. You've already done a lot for me today so don't feel bad one bit." Tony assured her as he looked back at the neyaphem. He could see now why Pietro liked her so much. She had a kind spirit and also a pleasant one. Pietro was no doubt an excited one and also a happy person most of the time. They had some opposites but they still managed to stay together even with their differences. "I at least hope Horus and Logan are ok. It's been pretty quiet." He said as he would normally guess with Logan's style of fighting, noise would have been made at this point. That is unless he was using his stealth.

Horus growled a bit as he had to struggle slightly to stay on his feet, resting a hand on the nearest tree for balance as he nodded. "He was the last Logan, and probably will survive since I didn't really hit anything vital. Or one of his pals will send a clear message to Sinister." Horus said as he looked around, not seeif any human outlines so it meant they had taken care of the last of this group but who knew if there would be more later which worried the draconic mutant a little.
Looking towards the feral mutant as he explained about his own twisted past the younger man looked away with a sigh. "There are times I wish I could forget that Logan but Sinister would never allow it. I'm just another pawn from Magneto's DNA to exploit." He said with a bitter growl, showing there was a small bit of resentment to his origin. Nonetheless he knew he would have to save such a hatred for later and get back towards the mansion which he glanced to Logan then. "Come on Logan let's get back, think I got some apologizing to do for blasting those two earlier. Just hope they aren't too bad of shape after blasting them I kinda lost control before thanks to that telepath." He said as he began to stand to head back.
"Seems they won actually. The battle ended just a bit ago and I only sense a lot of pain from Horus and the usual annoyance from Logan, so I think we can relax for now." Carol said as she stayed beside Tony regardless knowing she could at least make sure he would be alright after that sudden attack and the bruise seemed to have already be forming. Least he would be alright and not need to be sent back to the hospital. The Avengers surely wouldn't be happy for that. Flicking her tail Carol shook her head with a sigh, "Times like this I can't help wonder about the world sometimes." She commented softly as it always seemed to be a cruel and violent place, a place she likely would not last long in.

"I know Tony has a massive headache and Carol was coming around. I think that was one of the reasons why he didn't show up to help." Logan said as he sniffed the air just to make sure. There was the scent of blood in the air and that was far too obvious since they had spilled it. But he was disappointed, they'd walk away from this empty handed, on making sure the men wouldn't come back. The two were very similar in having experimental pasts. He was Weapon X for that old group and Hours had been the same testing partner for another team. Logan gave in, as he let out a low sigh, and he followed after Horus to make sure that there wouldn't be another surprise attack on them from this rate. Everything looked clear as they began to make their way back to where the other two were.
"That's good at least. I'm not really surprised about Logan. I've known him for Twenty years and he gets mad if something doesn't go as planned. Or even if the Hulk beats him in a game of wrestling." Tony said not at all surprised at the turn out. His headache was still burning on his forehead but it'd go away in due time. He looked up when Carol spoke up about wondering and he nodded, "You know Carol there's always darkness but there will be light. I think that's one of the things that I hung on to while I was in the prison. The light for me was the Avengers and I never let go of that." Tony said as he saw Logan appeared as he brushed past some of the grass that had fallen down. It was clear he was not trying to hide it from earlier as he made his way two. He was not being stealthy about it now.
"It's over." He said with a low growl. He looked back at the others, "We should probably go back in side and rest for a bit. Tony's in no condition to fly back to the city." Logan suggested as he started to stand putting one hand on his head to try and ease the pain. The other hand held his armor suit case.

"I'm glad to hear they're doing alright then, had me kind of worried." Horus said as he began following Logan back to the mansion, occasionally sniffing the air just in case he might have missed anything. But as he glanced towards Logan he could see the disappointment in his aura making the draconic mutant give him a sympathetic look. "Sorry to disappoint you in not finishing the job Logan, but I try not to...go back to those days of being a tracker and killer for the likes of Sinister. Honestly with their wounds those men might not last long to begin with." Horus apologized before he followed the older mutant from the bushes, having to take it a bit slower than Logan so he could try not to reopen any more wounds knowing the fighting likely did that all it's own.
Carol looked at Tony and nodded, looking over a bit as she sensed the two men arriving. "So far, Pietro seems to have been my real light in the darkness I see Tony. Yet somehow I feel the darkness just still hangs heavily around no matter what." She told him as she stood, helping Tony to his feet as Logan suggested going in as she nodded. "He's not the only one, both of these two hardly seem fit to fly at all, more or less be fighting." Carol commented as she moved over to give Horus an extra hand and both following Logan and Tony to the mansion.

"I understand some things in our past we are not proud of. I have loads of those memories." Logan said as he looked back at Horus but was still keeping an eye on him to make sure that he would still be in one piece when they got back to the mansion. They still had a bit of ways to go before they reached it. At least for now he seemed alright but he sometimes wished that he could give the injured students or residents in the X-Men his healing factor. Otherwise Horus would have been up on his feet now, too bad that wasn't going to happen at this point.
Once they reached Tony and Carol, they were already on their feet but for Tony things were not improving. Tony nodded when he heard Carol speek, "He's a good man that's for sure. He's helped the Avengers numerous times and I know he's talked about you fondly a lot. I suppose he can't help that talkative side of him." Tony added though trying to be a bit humorous on that one side. Everyone seemed to know that Pietro was a talkative person and everyone knew that. But he was correct on the part of him being good, ever since he left the Brotherhood he did not want to be a part of the villainous side, he couldn't see him becoming like his father any time soon.
Once they made their way into the mansion Tony sat down on one of the chairs that was in the mansion. It made him feel like home almost as he looked up seeing the area around him. "Thanks Carol. I suppose I need to tell the others that I might be late coming back home and they shouldn't worry. I have probably made Yuki worry the most at this point." Tony said but had his hand on his head still as Logans shrugged. "The only thing you're doing is resting I can tell them being that I'm a part Avenger." Logan said as he took out his own identicard as his stubborn side was shown and Tony shrugged. "That works too, I suppose." He added. It seemed to be decently busy tonight as some students had some evening classes to get too as they walked past. Others were merely going by probably to get dinner in the cafeteria as they spotted the famous Avengers and as well as the other members. But none seemed to be interested or brave enough to even talk to them just yet.
