"The same could be said from where I was originally Pietro, too many cons and too many saddened memories I'd rather not bring up."Erik agreed, recalling his younger years and how things had once been so bright only for them to take a much darker turn in his youth. It made him sad each and every time, especially thinking of the loss of his family and of the woman he had once loved so dearly, only for her to turn her back on him years later. His heart hadn't healed since then and it still likely never would. For now though all he could do was put it aside.
Following his son to the ground, just using his power to levitate himself down Erik couldn't help chuckling,"Yes Pietro I am quite aware of the new technologies and am quite up to date with most of them. I just sometimes prefer old school methods."He told his son, knowing of the internet, e-mail, and social networks but just never really bothered with them much and mostly because he didn't have a laptop or computer to do so. Besides what would be the use of them if he never could just enjoy the real world. "At this point in time I've had no true use for them."

"I guess that's understandable. I mean I'm not glued to the internet or anything but I do check it to show that I haven't ignored everyone." Pietro said understanding his father on why he choose not to use it. There were some heavy users that he knew at times that were on the computer completely. Though another thought came to mind as he nearly chuckled about it, and let at soft one out. "Maybe Wanda and I should get you a laptop for christmas or another special holiday of some sort." He asked though there was half a joke in his voice wondering if his father would use it all if he got one.
He also had to admit this walk was getting a bit better on himself. He was feeling better, even the speedster himself had to calm down and slow down taking some baby steps every once in awhile. Though it was too much of a habit of him to break that any time soon. On occasions he had even stopped to go to a nearby beach to go jog for exercise, or even just some time to relaxe there. And Wanda was also welcomed to come when she wanted to do so. "This walk is also making me feel better. I have to admit. I guess I just needed some fresh air." He added.

"Well least it's a good thing you aren't Pietro, though knowing you you might get bored easily after a while. That or not focus on it for long."Erik said with a soft nod, knowing his son likely wasn't one to stay on a computer for long if but for some things. But a soft chuckle escaped him upon hearing the possibility of getting a laptop for a present on some kind of holiday,"Perhaps Pietro though it might collect dust more then it would be used. Well that's if I used it at all."He said, somewhat teasing and somewhat meaning the last part. More then likely the laptop would just collect dust though in truth.
Though there was a genuine smile on the old man's face at hearing Pietro and he couldn't help putting something in,"Well it really must be more pleasant since this is the first time we've actually talked without going at each other's throats. Normally I am serious and not wanting to bother with your antics and attitude yet here we are actually able to talk and walk. Something we probably should have been able to do."Erik pointed out, quite glad for the change and actually rather enjoying it. He wished it could last even. Alas he could see the Avengers mansion coming into sight and he knew it was now winding down to him having to leave soon.

"Well it was a try." Pietro said with a shrug as he looked back at his father. Then again maybe they didn't have to worry about getting him a laptop. He was aware of the postal service and as well as the other Avengers. He was sure that the letter that his father sent would be sent directly to the Tower. However he looked back at Magneto with a bit of surprise. He was certainly correct on it. His father and himself had often seen many different sides, being on the opposing side for each problem, and that did not end well for them. This was one of the first times that they actually tolerated each other.
"I can see it as well. I know it was a bit edgy at first but I guess that was my stubborn side kicking in. Wanda knows it all too well." Pietro agreed as he looked back at his father. However he looked back also seeing the Tower. It seemed to be busy inside as Tony had the electricity on in several areas. Though the buisest parts from what he knew were the final floors. "Well it looks like this walk is about to come to an end."

"Perhaps in time we can have more moments like this Pietro, because even if our time is about to end for now it doesn't have to forever."Erik said when they finally came to a stop and the older mutant turned to his son both looking happy and sad. He was happy to finally to have just been able to talk with his son without them snapping at one another. Yet he was sad because he might rarely have these moments with his children since the Avengers weren't as trusting of him as the X-men were.
It would be some work but perhaps that would be a good thing. With a soft sigh he looked back at his son,"Well I should let you go Pietro and I'm glad you were able to feel better then earlier, and I do hope you can understand I do care for you and your sister. Perhaps I may not show it like a normal father would but if you two ever need anything I'm always willing to come here anytime."He assured Pietro as he knew he would be leaving after their good byes.

Ooc: I suppose this thread can be put in the archives? It seems to be wrapping up.
Bic: "Alright good bye father...and thanks for the walk. It meant a lot." Pietro said. He put his hand up on his father's shoulder gently but he felt too awkward to hug him just yet. It wasn't like him really to do that. "Well when you do come back from your trip you know where to find Wanda and I. We'll be at our usual place with the Avengers. Fighting crime, keeping the peace, and so on and so forth." He added as he glanced back at the tower. Though it was obvious to see where they were now the Avenger's A was up on the front of it, glowing brightly with the lights that Tony had installed in it before the Avenger's had been residence to it. The odd thing was, the A was the only thing standing up on the building, it was meant to spell the word Stark for Tony's last name but during the fight the A was the only letter that stood.
