Jamini could not help but smile just a little. Seemed like Garrett was also a free spirit. Even so he was a good person and she felt she could trust and respect him. But as for the matters of her powers she felt it may be a while longer before she tells anyone of them.. Even a hero such as Garrett, part of her fear was from her parents how they rejected the fact she had powers and showed they feared her just a little.. they where loving and helped her when she needed it.. But she could always tell they feared her powers. But keeping this a secret made her feel so lonely.. She could never let anyone get close in fear they would learn of her powers.. But how would she tell Garrett?? "G..Garrett.. I..." Jamini started but found her words failed her.. Ok then... She guessed she would have to use her powers. "Garrett i have something to say.. I'm a mutant too.."Jamini said as she projected her thoughts to him.

Again it seemed a long silence fell between them and Garrett didn't quite know what more to say on the matter. At the moment he wondered if he had pressed too much without actually asking her about it and possibly overstepped a boundry he had not meant to, which might have been the reason for the silence. But just as he was about to tell Jamini he better get going he was surprised when she began trying to tell him something, which he stopped to look at her and waited patiently to see.
Though her words failed her and Garrett once more assumed she was just too scared before her thoughts were projected into his own. But a smile came to his face,'Well it's good to know you are one Jamini, and you need to know your not alone when it comes to being afraid to confess what you are. We all feel like that one point or other.' He said to her through his thoughts, thinking this would be easier for her then saying it out loud.

Indeed Jamini felt better after telling Garrett about her powers. For the first time in years she did not feel so alone anymore. Jamini smiled as she looked at Garrett when he also started to use his thoughts to talk to her. "I know I was never alone... But due to somethings I never told anyone... Your the first to know what I am... Besides my parents god rest their souls.." Jamini said as she remembered her parents again. It had been a few years when they died in a car crash but it still stung sometimes. Jamini just stood there now not knowing what to do, seeing this was the first time she had ever said anything about her powers.

'That's quite understandable Jamini and no one would blame you for being so cautious, especially since not many are that brave to reveal what they can do. But that don't me can't try and let someone know, considering there are a handful of humans who'd not mind being around mutants.'Garrett said to her through his thoughts, feeling that she seemed to be feeling better but also not knowing what to do. With having hidden such a thing all her life it probably was a big relief off her shoulders. "But you know this shouldn't have to change your life to how your already living."He added but this time speaking normally so not to have someone think they were odd.

All Jamini could was smile, though she felt like she was going to cry. After all these years of being alone she had found someone at least she could talk to. And what was even better he knew the man she had been looking up to. Who had simler powers to hers but of course he is way more powerful then she could ever hope to be. When Garrett spoke out loud it made Jamini jump just a little, though she nodded at what he said. "Y-yeah I know. Hay Garrett? I hope this is not to forward but... Could I have your number? You know just to talk?" Jamini said as she slightly blushed. She normaly would never ask for a guy's number but she did not want to lose track of the only person she has ever told about herself. And who knows having his number may become useful if anything where to happen.

Garrett was a little surprised at her question but he only smiled and nodded,"Well of course Jamini, not too forward at all."He told her as he took out a notepad of paper and pen, normally liking to keep track of his running or training progress. After flipping through several of these notes he finally found a blank piece of paper. Writing down his number he then ripped out the piece and handed it over to Jamini,"Whenever you wanna call me mon amie, I'm normally open during the day, save for the late mornings. That's when I have my combat classes."He told her.
But none the less he was glad he could help Jamini in anyway he could. Giving her his number wasn't in any shape or form of a romantic thing and looking for a date he just was open to helping anyone like his fellow X-men. If that meant helping random stranger then that was always a good thing too. So Garrett was confident in time Jamini wouldn't have to always worry for her powers and that she had a friend to talk to if she was having a rough time with anything.

Jamini smiled when Garrett said it was not to farward. She was gald to hear that and like Garrett she was not seeing this as romantic thing. She just felt better having someone to talk to time to time. She then took the paper he handed her and put it away. " Thank you.. It will be nice to have someone to talk to about my powers." Jamini said with a smile. " Would you like a to run a few miles with me Garrett? If your to busy though I understand." Jamini said, she just wanted sometime to get to know Garrett somemore, she had a feeling they would be good friends.

"Your welcome Jamini and I am glad to help whenever you need it."Garrett said with a kind smile before he nodded,"Of course. I still have a little while longer before I have to be heading back to the mansion, the mornings are usually slow."He assured he as he soon began to run again not that things were out of the way. Overall he was pretty happy with the outcome so far and was looking quite forward to getting to know Jamini more, maybe even becoming a good friend the more they talked.
