Windy day ( open)

Tony had come out of his office, the large Avengers building for a bit to get a taste of the New York air. It was because he had been cooped up all day inside for nearly several days now trying to work something out with his company and another one that had offered some aid. He was however considering dropping the 'help' since he saw no practical use for it. In fact it reminded him of The H. A. M. M. E. R. Team which had attempted to steal his armory and not to mention his best friend Rhodes. He wasn't about to go down that road again and loose another friend, yes he had learned that the hard way and nearly being blown to bits by machines that were rip offs of his Iron Man uniform.

Of course he did not come outside alone at all he had his what looked like a suitcase at his side. But not a normal one you would see a buisness man or a working man would use. This suitcase housed his Iron Man suit, as it was covered in red and gold like a puzzle piece that was put into it. He had also realized something out of this suit case, his Ironman suit could never be brought anywhere easily unless it was transported in a plan or a large truck since there were so many parts to it. This way it could have collapsed easily and it only took him nearly two seconds to get out and in. It was just finding the right time to change into it was the problem.

However he felt the hairs stiffen on the back of his neck as he heard someone scream. He had noticed that large crowds had formed on Times Square, in fact ones that were larger than normal for an average day. He also pushed back some of his hair into place as he felt the wind as it was picking up. He had noticed it a bit earlier, but this was more like the speed of the wind had advanced almost like a hurricane was approaching. "Sir there seems to be trouble nearby I think it'd be best if you helped out a young man there." Jarvis spoke up through the suit as he agreed. "I couldn't agree more Jarvis. Give me two seconds...maybe three but I'll be there." He said. In a way he wished he was like Captain America with his armor, aways there and ready to throw his disc at any opponent. Of course, Tony wasn't like Steve, he realized that, but there were some disadvantages to having some armor.

He raced quickly back into his building as he began to put on his suit, the armor began to move in a bit of an unusual pace a it began to circle around Tony and place the correct parts on his body. His hands soon formed, along with his chest, and then his legs. And to complete it, Tony put down his mask as his chest of the Magnetic reactor Arch glowed brightly and his eyes did the same. " He began to head to where Taylor was seeing the large crowd as it started to disappeare from left and right as people were fleeing. He also heard several people gasp after realizing who was their to rescue them in time.

"Oh you picked a bad idea right there pointing that gun at me." Tony said as he had his voice partially masked by a more robotic one. Still everyone knew it was him. Iron man or not, he was an average citizen in New York like everyone else. Just that he was a rich and wealthy man. And a popular one too. As he flew through the air he prepared to lunge head on at the man with his fists open wide to try and grab onto him. He knew that he would just have to let the bullets hit his armor, he had done it in the past, but it was too fast to attempt to activate a shield of any sort. Besides he had survived gun shots before....So he could take his chances...

"Well that was interesting." Jarvis commented as if reading Tony's thoughts. "You're turning into a telepath at this point." Tony teased the computer as he remained hovered in the air trying to recall what had happened. But he realized that had to stop at the moment as he watched the kid as he began to take off down the path again with his bike.

"Heay kid wait up!" He called out towards Taylor seeing that he was taking off. He fired up his flight a bit faster than normal as he tried to keep up with him. But he wondered if the fact that he was in his Ironman suit was intimidating the boy. He didn't blame him, it did to many other people sometimes. "Can we talk for a few seconds? I'm not going to hurt you, I promise on that." He assured her. And it was almost as if he had forgotten about the crook, and possibly did. His memory was a bit wary these days.... He was left there out cold to either he woke up or one of the officers from the poice force caught him and put him behind bars.

"Okay so maybe this form is a bit intimidating for you. I don't blame you feeling that way." Tony said as he lifted his mask to show his own face towards Taylor as he came over to him but stayed up in the air as he levitated. "What you did back there, it's clear you're not human. In fact you're one of those mutants. What I was wondering was, would you be interested in joining or at least considering being a part of the Avengers?" He asked. Tony was aware that he may have been a bit young for the Avengers, but there were other young teenagers amongst the Avengers as well. So maybe he would fit in with the younger squad than the bigger one. It was only if he said 'yes' of course.

"Of course, you were certainly a brave one out there. I think you'd do well with the younger member of the Avengers." Tony said telling the truth and what he believed every step of the way. They certainly did have a growing amount of teenagers on the Avengers, if any more were soon to be recruited they'd probably have to find a name for the seperate team. Although Tony didn't have any children-let alone a wife just yet he was fine on watching the kids if his friends needed it. It was odd in many ways that the younger ones tended to call him an 'uncle' once or twice. But one thing he couldn't help in doing was smiling back at Taylor, his face lit up with disbelief. He could understand why though, not to many people got an invitation first hand to join the Avengers.

"It's incredible isn't it? You're going to do well I'm certain of that." Tony said as he finally landed on the ground after managing a few more minutes up in the air as he waited for Taylor's response. "Well you can come by to the Avenger's mansion if you want and I can show you around. Unless you have other plans first. But I'll tell Jarvis to get to work on your Avengers Identicard." Tony added knowing that he should have stoped right there. It may have been a bit much for the young man to take in at once. He had remembered the same reaction that Spider Man had given him when Peter had join the team. The shock and surprise, coming from a young and new hero.

Tony however wasn't mad at all at Taylor, but he did notice how nervous the boy was as he looked at him for a bit. Maybe it was just stage fright? Certainly it was a big leap for anyone to get such an invitation as he thought about it. "Well then I can lead the way for you, I'll stay pretty close so you don't get lost." Tony assured him. Though the Avengers buiding was pretty obvious to find, just like the Future Foundation building, it had a large sign on it that announced the Avengers lived there. And it was their permanet home.
