Uneasy Family Ties (Open)

Francis had his bow ready to fire again as he kept on his target. But it seemed that he didn't see anything move. Had his uncle been knocked unconscious? There was only one way to find out as he came up to the roof top of where he could climb easily onto the other streets. He knew Neila wasn't that far from where he was as he began to jump across them. Soon he came to the building that Barney had been hiding from as he looked around, bow still in hand to make sure that his uncle wouldn't try any tricks on him. "Oh there he is." Francis said seeing the damage that he had done. Bernard had been knocked out pretty clearly from this one as his bow had been tossed off nearly to the edge. "Neila! I found him. He seems to be unconscious at this point." Francis called out for her hoping that she could hear.

"I guess so at this point. But I honestly think I'm glad that it was over quickly. Knowing what my dad can do it can be seriously dangerous in a fight, and if he's as good as my father, this could have turned ugly." Francis said as he put his own bow back into hits case so he could store it and have two free hands. He then came over to take his uncle's bow to make sure that he wouldn't have a chance to fire his arrows again, he inspected it quickly realizing it was a similar type of bow that he had seen his father use before, but the name escaped him. But that wasn't important now as he had to call the others.

He took out his Avengers identicard as he pressed a button, the area on the front part of the card lit up showing that the communciations were on. "Ironman speaking, is everything okay Francis?" Tony asked on the other side. "Tony, can you bring a quinjet over here? I have something for you to pick up. You're not going to believe who we got into a mess." Francis. "Save the surprise for later I'll bring the jet over as soon as I can." Ironman said as he didn't mind if Neila had been into their conversation the entire time.

Francis kept his card out so Tony could track their location it was easier that way so he wouldn't be searching the city blindedly for the three of them. It wouldn't take long for Tony to find them, that was for sure. As Francis leaned against the bow that his uncle had been using he listened to what Neila had to say. They did work pretty well as a team this time and he had noticed it. The first time it had happened, it had gotten to a rocky start, and not to mention he had mostly caused it, "Yeah you're right with that one. We are pretty good. Normally most of the time I just go by myself, most of the other younger generation of kids I end up fighting with or arguing with them."

"He will. Tony's at the Avenger's building he needs to start up the Quinjet and of course get here. It shouldn't take that long." Francis said as he watched Neila she was certain on that one. It looked like she was about to burn Barney into ashes. He didn't blame her after seeing what happened tonight. He looked up though as he saw the wind starting to get a bit worse as he noticed his hair starting to blow from the wind. The quinjet hadn't taken long to arrive at all. "Ironman to Hawkeye, the jet has arrived." Tony said over the communciator as he looked back at Neila. "He's arrived obviously."

The jet soon opened up as Tony flew out of it as he was in his Ironman suit, "I hear you loud and clear Neila. And it's nice to see you again. Francis and I can bring back the archer to the cell." Tony said as he lifted up his mask to show his face towards her. But he seemed to not mind that Neila as she called him old man now as he was starting to get used to it. Tony landed nearby the two of them as he picked up Barney onto his shoulder easily with the help of his armor. "And Tony can I stay out a bit longer? I know I don't have many classes tomorrow so I was just wondering if I could." Francis asked as he wanted to spend a few more minutes along with Neila. "Alright Francis, don't stay out too long of course." Ironman replied.

"No I was actually wondering if you just wanted to talk for a bit. I know it might sound a bit awkward but it seems the last few times we've met we've always been fighting." Francis said as Tony left the area after putting Barney inside the Quinjet to head him to his cell. Francis looked back at Neila expecting for her to turn it down. If she did he would wander a bit of a long route home taking his time and not rushing being that he didn't have to get up extra early tomorrow for a class or training.

"To be honest I thought we could start with my past. There aren't many who know about it that well, or that clearly. But I think I can trust you with it. If that's alright." Francis said as he rubbed the back of his head as he talked with Neila. Some how he had a feeling that this would get a bit dull on his part for speaking about his saddened parts of his history since that's what it was sounding like at this point.
