Xavier It was mid afternoon and Xavier had decided he wanted to go outside and wheel around the grounds. And seeing it was the weekend there was a chance he would run into a few students or some of the X-men. And he was looking forward to talking to a few, He always enjoyed talking to the students and getting to know them better, as well he was wanting to meet some of new newer students that had joined recently. He would have met them the fist day they arrived but he had been terribly busy and did not have much time. Though he could feel their thoughts he did not want to use his powers to speak to them. He rather meet them in person. As Xavier wheeled around the grounds he came to the gardens. He smiled as he came up to them, they where always so pretty and full of life. Storm always did a very good job with them. Xavier then moved on enjoying the nice sunny day and the sounds of the X-students chatting, playing or even training. Some came over to say hello and even chatted with him for a little bit before going on their way. Xavier then made his way over to a huge Oak tree and stopped his wheelchair under it. He then sat there enjoying the shade as he watched the students and would be happy to talk to any of them if they wanted to talk

Shawn had been out on a stroll on the grounds himself as he had some free time before some of his afternoon classes as he began to round the corner near one of the basket ball courts. It was clear that a game was going on inside the fenced off area, but it looked like a lot of the students would have rather used their powers in the middle of the game than play fairly like normal basketball. As Shawn got closer to the center of the school he heard someone call out towards the by standers that were near the court as one of the balls rocketed out of the fence yard. Shawn's first reaction was to change into his obisidan form as he covered himself for protection. Sure it was just a ball, but it would hurt pretty bad at the speed that it was going in. He heard a loud thud as it bounced off of his metallic like state as he almost had a glassy appearance and the ball drippled a bit further away as he went to go pick it up.
"What is that your only power? To turn into glass? That sounds pretty lame if you ask me." The younger student said as Shawn rolled his eyes. The chain fence around the place looked like it was made of some sort of metal, he could have used that in order to wrap it around the boy to use his metal powers. But that of course would have led to a fight.
"Just get on with your game and keep your thoughts to yourself." Shawn said as he tossed the ball to him over the fence. But for some reason he didn't feel like leaving his obisidan form just yet. He wandered around a bit more as he noticed that Xavier was nearby. Usually he knew the man to be a buisy one and one that had been trying to keep the school running. He had met him once before he came to the school but that had really been a long time ago. "Hello Mr. Xavier." He said in a calm tone but it was clear that he was still a bit upset over what happened earlier.

Xavier had noticed the younger X-student making fun of Shawn. A young man he had met once before. Xavier did nothing but would make sure to talk to the younger student later. He did not like the other students teaseing or making fun of each other when they where a team. Xavier then noticed that Shawn was walking over to him. He nodded when the young man said hello and even though he was trying to act calm could still tell what the other student had said upset him But he was also proud that he did nothing in return. " Hello Shawn, its been a while. How have you been doing? Xavier asked as he looked at the young man. He was not going to say anything about what just happened unless Shawn wanted to talk about it.

"I'm fine really. I'm used to people bothering me like that if you saw me earlier. They usually tease me since I have a mechanical leg. Now a days it doesn't bother me that much." Shawn said with a shrug. He was right though, more than one occasion he could think of several times where he got teased off the streets in New York or was bothered by what he thought was an innocent bystander. Here it was the very same as he could possibly be bothered by someone he didn't know just because he looked different. After a bit he changed back into his human form as his obisidan form disappeared. Being that it would have looked wierd for him to walk around in it, and he knew that his sister had faced that problem every time.
In speaking of his sister, he wondered if she could come to this school. Being that he had just recently reunited with her, it would be a great opportunity to learn and train with her again just like old times. But he felt too nervous around Xavier to tell him about his sister. It had been nearly two years since he had seen her though and she had certainly changed. "And um...there's something else on my mind too..." He added.

Though he said nothing Shawn felt he had to say something about the teasing he got from the other student. Xavier merely nodded and waited for the youth to finish. When he did Xavier nodded, " I see, though I shall still talk to the other student later Shawn, and please feel free to tell me when other students tease you. You should not have to go through that here. And I'm proud of you for just walking away." Xavier said with a smile. Though it seemed Shawn had something else on his mind. Xavier could see it in his eyes and felt how nervous he felt about telling him. Xavier looked at Shawn and folded his hands in his lap as he waited to see if Shawn was willing to talk about it. he would not read into his mind or press him if he was not ready to talk about whatever it was that was stressing the boy.
Though when he said he did have something on his mind Xavier nodded, " I see, would it be easier to talk in privet in my office? Or would you rather walk with me?" Xavier offered wanting the youth be comfortable as possible. Seeing it seemed Shawn was gathering his courge to even say something about whatever it was.

"Thanks. I guess I'm used to it is all. I could have done several things to him but that just would have been wrong." Shawn said shaking his head. In a way his obisidan form was his defensive form, it could withstand quiet a bit before he had to revert back to his human form before having to deal with the other damage. it also allowed him to have super human strength, so he could lift way more than normal.
"Well I have a sister. I think you knew that but she was considering coming to this school. I just recently found her in New York and was reunited with her. She doesn't have a team or anything to go to, and I was wondering if she could come here. But in a way she has similar powers like I do that invovle rocks or obisidan forms." Shawn explained after a bit of thinking it through on how to explain it to the Professor.

Xavier nodded and waited for Shawn to go on. So he had found a long lost sister and she had similer powers as Shawn. Xavier listened as he went on to say that his sister was considering coming to the school. A smile came to Xavier and he nodded, he saw nothing wrong with letting his sister come here. This was after a all a safe haven of sorts and a place for young mutents to learn of there powers and how to use them. " I don't see why your sister cannot come here. You may breing her here Shawn and I will be happy to show her around." Xavier said.

"Thank you." Shawn said sounding a bit more releaved at this point as he listened to what Xavier had to say as he looked back at him. He was right, this was a safe haven for mutants alike as they came here for safety and to learn. "Her name is Sierra by the way, and she is at least two years younger than me." Shaw added as he looked back at Xavier wondering if he had anything else to say for the conversaton.

While the two had talked Sierra herself had finally summed up her courage to truly give the place a try and see her brother again. It had been a few days since they had come to it but Sierra had shown some uneasiness due to it's size and seeing so many people, instead she had gone to find a place to stay for a short time before she made a true decision to become a student there. And she was already coming through the front gates before closing them behind her and making her way down the walk way.
At first she didn't see many people but heard them, it seemed more towards the backyard in fact. Curiously she wondered if Shawn was outside instead of trying to seek him inside the rather huge mansion and decided to test her luck as she followed one of the side paths that wound it's way around to the back and as she had guessed to where many of the students were or some of the staff. But her purple colored eyes shifted among the crowd for a long moment, hoping to find the familiar form of her older brother.
But it wasn't until she went further and came upon the gardens did she hear his voice and someone else, someone much older from the sounds of things. Nervously she moved closer until she saw Shawn and Xavier,"Hey Shawn!"She called before moving closer warily, her gaze briefly going to Xavier as she finally came to Shawn's side,"And hello sir, I'm sorry if I'm interrupting."She said a bit kindly though the uneasiness was clear in her stiff posture and edge of it in her voice.

Xavier smiled when Shawn seemed releaved. He was happy to help his students and welcome Shawn's sister into the X-men family. When Shawn said her name and that she was two years younger then him, Xavier nodded and smiled. " I see well I look forward to meeting Sierra." Xavier said then he pused. He felt Sierra mind, she was close and he could feel how uneasy she was. "It seems she is already here." Xavier said with a smile as Sierra came over. When she said sorry if she was interrupting, Xavier chucled shoftly and looked at her. " No Sierra, You are not interrupting anything." Xavier said gently.

"Sierra!?" Shawn said a bit surprised to see that Sierra had made it early to the place. Well he didn't mind at all as he started to sound a bit more excited in seeing his sister here. That way he wouldn't feel so alone compared to the last year or so that he had been here. "It's a bit of a surprise to see you here already. But none the less I am happy to see you. Also this is the Head Teacher of the school that I had told you about earlier, Professor Xavier." Shawn said as he tried to introduce the two to each other. He still sounded a bit surprised to see her as she came in. But they still had a lot of catching up to do when it came to their reuniting position that happened a day or so ago.

"Thought I might as well give this place a try Shawn, after all it's not like I really had anywhere else to go."Sierra said to him, seeing how surprised but excited he was to see her which helped her relax a little until she looked back at Xavier. "And it's nice to meet you Professor Xavier, Shawn's told me a lot about you and the school, I just have been trying to work up the courage to try and come here."She greeted him, though she still seemed to be trying to relax when being around so many people.
If anything this would take time for her to adjust to a new life and new surroundings, finding it difficult now since she had grown so distrusting and edgy around others. All from just being used as a guinea pig for three years. But then again she had only been 12 at the time and was learning to make close bonds but it seemed the only likely close bonds she would have for a while was with her brother and likely their parents.

Xavier smiled and nodded as Sierra spoke and waited for the siblings to get done talking before he said anything. "I'm glad you where able to come Sierra, this school is a safe place to learn and work on your powers. And you wont have to do anything your not comfortable with. Come I will be happy to show you around the school. Is there a place you would like to visit first?" Xavier asked gently as he looked at Sierra. He could still feel how uneasy she was there fore he was going to let her choose the places she wanted to go seeing as she said Shawn told her all about the school.

Shawn would let his sister say the word if she wanted to go or not. He figured he could tag along with her, after all he wondered if they'd get close rooms or not. Probably he figured not since she was a girl and he was a boy of course, they had seperate rooms and were different with room mates. So he could at least show her where his room was after the tour was over. For now he just waited calmly as he glanced down at his mechanical leg to see how it was doing and so far it was fine. Of course the last thing he needed it was to suddenly stop working or he'd need to get one from the hospital again.

Sierra quietly listened to Professor Xavier as he spoke, nodding as he confirmed what Shawn had told her when they had been reunited not too long ago. It was actually nice to hear from the very man who had made this school possible and so far all she got was a good vibe from the old man, so maybe things weren't as she had expected. "I guess seeing the outside of the mansion would be a good start Professor, or the first floor. Whatever you think is best."Sierra said as she was beginning to relax a little more since at the moment she felt no hostility from him.
Though she still seemed very watchful of her soon to be fellow x-students, some of which she had noticed look over when she arrived. And by reflex she stayed fairly close to Shawn's side, almost as if moving away might separate them again or that the others might jump at her. Sierra really hoped one day this feeling would end since she hated having to feel the need to be on guard all the time.
