Firo let out a sigh as he sat in a wooden chair that belonged to a coffee shop. New York City. It wasn't on his list for must go see places, he'd been here before in the past. The trips before to this place were...fine but then again, he didn't have a choice in the matter. The train he worked on had to come here and his boss pretty much made him stay put since the other conductor said that he could handle it. Besides, Firo refused all of his vacation days for a long time, he liked the train and preferred to stay with it. When was liking his job such a bad thing? At least he worked when on the train.
New York was just another one of those large cities to him, a large amount of crime in it. Though there were also a lot of heroes here. Monster certainly wouldn't like to play hero with any of them, it was hard enough to get the beast to play hero when the train was in danger along with the passengers. Which that had happened once or twice in the past. Well Firo was making sure that Monster wouldn't get lose.
There was a small cup of coffee sitting in front of on the table, the light brown liquid was still rather hot. Firo wasn't a fan of coffee but it was cheap and easy to make; or have others make. Besides, it tasted better after he drowned it in sugar and cream. The chair acrossed from him at the same table was empty. The day was warm though, Firo still had his black trench coat on to stay warm.

Zandra was dressed rather girly today also looking a bit nerdy. She had her hair down and was wearing glasses. a blouse. a skirt and high heels. the lipstick she had on was blood red and she had some blush on to help make her other wise fair skin look a little more rosy. She had been staying low the lest few days. Due to what happened on the subway.. So Nightdancer had not come out to play at night like normal. But that was fine it allowed her to catch up on some stuff for work. witch she was doing right now. She just got tired of being in her house and wanted a different scene. Zandra then came to the coffee shop that Firo was at, she then sat down at a table next to him taking out her laptop and plugged it in. She turned on and started to type, she was working on the story that happened in the subway. Though leaving a few things out like saying two nameless hero's tried their best but everything had gone down hill ending up in a crash. May not be the best idea to write it herself but if anyone was looking for her she would be found sooner or later.. When the waiter come over Zandra smiled up at her, " Some Chi tea and coffee cakes are fine thank you,"" Zandra said and went back to typing her story. Though she was also keeping a eye on everyone around her, never knew when a bad guy may strike after all..

Firo had noticed Zandra arrive and raised a eyebrow. People who worked with laptops were strange, though he wasn't against technology. He still just preferred to work with trains.
"Tea and cake eh? Interesting combination." Firo said, loud enough for Zandra to hear. "Never heard of Chi tea, what's that taste like?"
His mood was toward social at the current moment, so attempt at converse was what he was trying. The coffee cup he still had was just sitting there, not being drink. Though it wouldn't be the first time he just left the cup sit there.

Zandra looked up from her Laptop looking over at the man that had spoken to her. She put her finger on her glasses lowering them farther down her nose, she then gave a small smile pushing the glasses back up on her face. " Its not bitter like normal tea. You should try it yourself really to find out." Zandra said playing the part of a normal human girl and being slightly flirty. Though she had a feeling it may be lost on this fellow not that she cared though. She was just acting a part nothing less and nothing more. " Though better drink your coffee or it will get cold on you." Zandra said with a smile as she then looked back at her laptop ad started typing once again though she was looking at Firo from the corner of her eye.

Firo never had tea. He always thought it was too similar to coffee to bother trying it. Oh well, served him right. A shrug left him as she Zandra suggested he try it himself. That was really the only way to see what something tasted like.
"Just wanted a second opinion for it I ever do." Firo replied. "The coffee's not so great, even after you put sugar and cream in it. So what are you working on? It's fine if you don't want to say."

Zandra gave a small laugh as she looked back at Firo, " Yeah that is why Coffee sucks, you can add all the sweeteners you want and it still sucks. At least with tea even if some are bitter when you add sweeteners the taste at least gets better," Zandra said with a smile. Though she raised a eye brow asked what she was working on, Though she gave a smile, as she did not mind telling it was going to be out for the world to see anyway. "I;m working on a story for my news paper firm. Its about the subway crash that happened a few nights ago. I'm a news writer for a the sunnyside news paper."" Zandra said with a smile.

That was true, the part about coffee. Though perhaps he should try tea sometime, maybe. When he heard what she was working on, Firo titled his head slightly and a look of pure interest showed on his face.
"Oh? So you're a reporter." Firo said. "A crash in the subways eh? Well that's news to me, I've been on a old style train as the conductor so I haven't had time to listen to the news. Did everyone get out okay?"
