Davyn let out a sigh as he wandered around the place. Honestly it was easy to get lost on this flying rust bucket. Thought at least he was near a place he could easily recognize, the countless labs this place had. While he was tempted to try and see Fury wasn't doing what he hoped he was, he didn't. Davyn didn't know the computer codes or anything, so it wasn't going to work for him to try to get into the computers. Plus there were security cameras all over the place.
Pausing at a door, another sigh left him as he stood there. Well he might as well go in and ask if they knew how to get to the barracks or whatever they called the living quarters on this ship. Opening the door, he entered and could see the back of a scientist working.
"Excuse me Sir, but do you know how to....." Davyn started, however as the scientist turned around and Davyn saw who it was, his voice left him.
His amber eyes widened as he recognize the man. No....how could he be here....? Davyn froze where he was, just stuck there.
(ooc: the man Davyn speaks too and sees is Jason. Just wanted to be clear on that)

Jason had been working for SHIELD for quite some time. They had offered to fund him and provide anything he needed, even test subjects, Fury had said. It seemed the man offered everyone whatever they wanted the most when trying to recruit them and, so far, Jason had no complaints as to how he had been treated. The man was a workaholic, so he held his end of the bargain more than happily, working more hours than was probably healthy on the projects he was assigned to. In his spare time, he was allowed to use the installations for his own research and he did that all too often, staying up until past midnight absorbed in how to cure that blood illness that had completely ruined his life... more than once.
The man was concentrated on examining the resulting sample of a distillation process when someone walked in. He was expecting someone and thought she was either too early or he had lost track of time again. Then, he heard his son's voice and the only reason Jason didn't flinch was because he had enough years of experience hiding his real thoughts and feelings under a mask of indifference.
A long fingered hand went up to push his glasses up the bridge of his nose before he turned around, charming and composed as ever. "Oh, Davyn." Jason said as casually as if everything between them were just perfect. "I was wondering how long it would take you to get here." He said as if Davyn had chosen that for himself. It was always half-truths and embellished facts with him, like talking to a diplomat and forward people often found it annoying, while other hypocrites like himself thought it made him distinguished.

What? Was he expecting him? Why? Why was....how did he....WHAT?! How could the man be so calm about this?!! HOW?! Ever since he was experimented on and after the first change, Davyn had become afraid of his father. The sheer fact that his father would willing do such a thing and turn his own son into what he had, scared Davyn.
"What do you mean by that?!" Davyn almost demanded, however he went quiet again as he tried to relax.
Don't freak out, don't lose it. You lose it then this place is going to have a really large problem on their hands. Davyn thought in his head.
"Were you just wanting for them to bring me here in a cage or something? What did you somehow find me or did you bribe them to find me for you?" Davyn asked as he stood there, having something of a serious look but fear was still clearly visible.

Jason took off his glasses, as calmly as before and cleaned them with his white lab coat, which was so white it seemed new, but then again, all his clothes looked that way, even the suit under it. Apparently, the man was neat in his work. "I mean exactly that." He said with a small smile, as if their relationship wasn't a damaged thing. Inside, he felt a knot in his stomach. He couldn't save his mother or his son. All his experiments ended up making things worse. In a way, it could be said that he had killed his mother and sentenced his son to a life as a lab rat. He was a failure and hated the concept. Most of the time, Jason managed to lie to himself and forget about it, but when faced directly with the evidence... he still tried to put his best face out of pride, to act in control. If he broke down on top of everything what would he have left? "I was curious." He said the words he knew would clarify nothing but still classify as an answer.
"Neither one." The man made a deliberate pause. "I got a job offer some years ago and took it. I get funds, all the equipment I need and the pay is good. What else could anyone ask for?" He was being honest, but only because honesty suited his interests best at the time.
"This people have a tendency to find people with special abilities that don't want to be found. Considering how... unusual your condition is, I knew it was a matter of time before they got their eye on you, but I had nothing to do with that." He said as calmly as before. If someone didn't know him better, he might appear as a good father concerned about his son and almost happy to see him. Not that he was happy to see Davyn, but it was true that he had expected their paths to cross again if he started working for SHIELD.

Davyn didn't know if he should believe the man or not. After all, he had trusted his father in the past and at one point in life maybe looked up to him. When he first told him that he was working on a cure for him, Davyn was happy. Believing that his father could do it but after the transformation, all he felt was fear and a strong dislike toward the man for what had happened. Though it was most likely true that SHIELD would've found him without knowledge of his father nor the man working for them.
"I'd prefer to not be here." Davyn replied as he stood there. "Things were going....okayish..."
If Jason had watched the news, he would've known what 'okayish' meant. Only losing control every so often. Though the last two months held much trouble for Davyn, seeing as how the Demon Dog was on the news three times due to him losing it.

Jason acted surprised. "You'd rather be out there, then? Being a possible threat to innocent people?" He asked frankly, his expression a bit more serious now, which made him look older.
"You don't need to let them control your destiny, son, but if they're willing to teach you how to control... yourself, then I wouldn't pass on such an opportunity. It would be selfish and irresponsible as a citizen." Now he sounded like the father of a petty criminal trying to convince his son of reforming.

"NO!" Davyn snapped. "I'd prefer not to feel like I'm in a cage just waiting to be electrocuted which won't help in any shape or form. Trust me, I've had muggers stupid enough to try."
Davyn raised an eyebrow as Jason started his...fatherish speech? If that was the right term to use. Davyn didn't know, he wasn't going to try and figure that out.
"Willing eh? I had no choice in coming here and to be quite frank, I don't see anything in this floating craft, that can help! Sure they could be morons and try and collar but that's not going to work, just make it worse." Davyn started. "Besides, how can I trust Fury not to try and recreate IT?!! HUH?!! That would be even worse to have another one of it running around, doing who knows what! One has caused enough trouble but if there were two or more, then it's goodbye cruel world! SHIELD works for the government, if orders from on high say recreate it, I bet everything he'll obey and do it!"
Davyn held a valid point. There was no way to be sure that Fury wouldn't do what Davyn feared most.

Jason sighed deliberately and made a pause that he though would make him look wiser before he spoke. "How you choose to feel is no one's fault but your own. If you pick the pessimistic path of letting go of this opportunity to learn some self-control it's up to you but, personally, I think that there's still a reason you didn't attempt an escape yet." He said that as calmly as before but his jaw was set, a telltale that he wasn't quite as relaxed as he wanted to appear.
"Of course not. You're unwilling to even try and see..." Jason said, his voice a bit harder but then seemed to regain his composure. "Ah... that temper of yours. It's still getting the best of you, Davyn." Another pause. "I can't trust Fury either. I don't do trust, but so far he's kept his promise to me, so I have no complaints. If the situation changes, I'll reevaluate my options." He explained putting his glasses back on.
"If you want to make sure we're not replicating that incident, maybe you should come around the labs more often and check it out for yourself. We can always use an extra pair of hands." Jason said with a faint smile. A part of him found that overreaction funny, even though he knew what his son losing control meant. But the fact that young people were so driven by their emotions rather than their minds was indeed funny from the outside.

"Oh? That may be, but one can't ignore how I'm in this situation. Why it is my emotions are the trigger point usually." Davyn replied. "The fact I'm stuck with it, to be exact."
Referring to the experiments done on him by his father once more. Davyn might've let it go if transforming into the Demon Dog wasn't as painful and he had control over it when in that state. If he could make sure no one would get hurt by it, then maybe he wouldn't have grown his dislike of his own father. Sadly that wasn't the case.
"I highly doubt he's dumb enough to go about doing that and have the data on it, right in front of my face." Davyn replied. "Besides, why would you want my help? Inexperience does one who has experience no good. And it's obvious which way that is going."
True, Davyn was studying science and biology on the college campus he did go to. Sadly though he'd been absent for a while. Stuck up here.

Jason's jaw muscles tensed. He was well aware of how and why his son was stuck in that position and situation, but refused to believe it was ALL his fault. The kid had some blame in his eyes. He could have taken things more calmly. Instead, Davyn was acting like a dramatic teenager to his eyes. The man was unable to see that his son wasn't old enough to be a mature old man when his own father had a rather childish personality when it came to facing responsibility. "Anything you wanna say? Just say it." He dared Davyn, calm and confident though his eyes betrayed anger.
"That's because you're too busy being angry and resentful to actually read between the lines or doing some research of your own... I bet he's even counting on that. He's got us all figured out, the old man." Again, Jason seemed to be pretty cool with everything, but below the surface, there was anger, regret and the need to become better than he was to prove he was worthy despite his failures.
Jason shrugged. "I only needed someone to take the blood samples to and from the equipment, but I understand you don't want to see me." Not that I'm thrilled to see you either, he thought to himself, his lips tightening.
