Taking a Step Forward (Yuki)

"I'm sure Lucky and I will sort our differences in time. I have had many issues with some other Avengers and we sorted out our problems-" "Um sir I don't mean to bother you but there's a situation going on Tony was cut off as he heard Jarvis speak up as he showed some dread on his face. He had told Jarvis to only call unless it had been some sort of emergencey as he looked down at this armor thinking he'd have to go into it. "What's the situation Jarvis?" Tony asked as he heard the computer speak up.

"There seems to be some monster attacking a building near where you are. You and Yuki are the closest ones to it. It'll take some time for the other Avengers arrive. The monster is threatening to take down some of the cities." Jarvis said as Tony sighed. "Figures this has to happen. Jarvis can you send me the co ordinates on the Ironman suit. And I'm really sorry tat this happened Yuki." tony said but he knew he had no control over what bad guys decided to show their faces on the night he wanted to go on a date. Well at least they finished eating.

Tony nodded noting that Yuki would come back after she changed, he went to he men's bathroom as he changed out of his suit and had his ironman armor as well. He began to suit up and it wasn't long before he flew out of the bathroom. It wasn't long before Tony came up fully suit. "Jarvis tell the waiter to put the food bill on my tab. We'll pay for it later but there are more important things at hand." Tony added as he waited for Yuki as he was out front. As he scanned the area with his suit he could already tell where the monster was since it was so large. "Goodness I know who the monster is. That's Fing Fang Foom." Tony said showing some concern now that he knew how dangerous this was going to be when they fight.

Tony still lifted his mask up and smiled back at Yuki seeing her return as she did a few minutes later. “You’re right Yuki. We can do this. And we will stop him, we can do it. We're the Avengers!” He added. Once she headed outside he flew after her and put his helmet back on to protect his face. Tony heard Yuki’s voice speak up about hurrying and she didn’t need to tell him twice. Tony was up in the air shortly after Yuki as his flight kicked off in his feet. “Well he sticks out like a sore thumb.” Tony said as he saw how large the monster was and how close it had been. The green monster was massive but at the same time Tony had seen the creature before, and it was indeed something to call huge. He knew a fight between it and the Hulk would be an interesting one. But the Hulk wasn’t here unfortunately.

“Uh-oh. Jarvis activate my shield.” Tony added seeing that the monster inhaled heavily letting out a spray of noxious fumes that turned into fire. The building that it was aiming for was up in flames but Tony was prepared as he placed a shield down in front of some civilians so they would not be hit by the building. “Ironman!” One of the civilians called out in surprise seeing one of the Avengers. “In the flesh…er metal in this case.” Tony added, behind the mask he had a grin on his face even though they couldn’t see it.”Yuki we got to protect the citizens of New York before they’re burnt to a crisp.” Tony said back to Yuki as he stayed in place to stop the flames from reaching the ones he was saving.

Tony was certainly surprised at the abilities that Yuki used for her powers. He realized now the choice he had made for the Avengers of letting Yuki join them had certainly had been a good idea. But maybe one day she could become a full member of the Avengers. "Thanks Yuki." Tony said seeing that the civilians were safe and Tony would not have to worry now about the civilians getting burned. They seemed grateful for the help of the heroes as they fled to safety. It was best that they got out of the path of the monster known as Fing Fang Foom. "We know for sure that Fing Fang Foom doesn't have many weaknesses. I was thinking we lure him away from New York since it's such a heavily populated area. That way we won't have to worry about anyone getting caught in his path." Tony said as he talked back to Yuki.

"I am positive that this will work." Tony said as he listened to what Yuki had to say about rescuing the others in need. He could see Yuki was luring the mmonster away from the area and things were starting to get safe around the area. But he couldn't help but worry for Yuki. She was after all his responsibility as being a leader. The last thing he wanted was Fury to yell at him for loosing her. "Sir behind you!" He heard Jarvis call out as he saw a building was collapsing from the weakened structure by the flames. Tony's heart raced as he flew forward seeing that one kid couldn't make it in time. "Kid watch out!" He called out as Tony protected the kid to keep him safe as he braced himself for the collapse of the building. A loud bang and crash from the glass came as he shielded the kid from most of the glass that was coming their way.

Dust rose from the rubble as it seemed everything looked grim. There was no sign of Tony or the child that he had attempted to save. However a heavy cough could be heard as Tony lifted some of the metal debris that was on him and the kid as the child was alright. "I'm not going to do that for awhile." He said with a horse voice.

"Yuki!" Tony called out as he saw her hit the ground, even from far away he could tell that something had fallen from where Fing Fang Foom was. He wasn't going to let her go down that easily and he knew fighting such a monster was going to be a difficult one. Once the kid was safe Tony dusted off the debris that was on his armor before shooting off into the air again to go an aid her. "Armor damage is ten percent sir." Jarvis said warning how much his armor could handle, a building falling on him would have certainly caused damage but not enough to be severe. But he knew he'd need to keep track of those levels when he was fighting Foom

"Jarvis can you activate my unibeam?" He asked his computer as he agreed too. It wasn't long before something glowed bright red in his chest as he shot the unibeam straight for Foom. It was also more for a distraction to get the creature to not focus on Yuki. Tony knew Yuki would be spending a few days in recovery, luckily Tony had formed a medical based cure for her broken bone so it wouldn't be broken for long if she'd let him use it on her.

"Searching for information now, Ms Yuki." Jarvis said as he heard the command. As the fighting was going on Tony got knocked out of the sky as he hit the ground pretty hard, if he hadn't been wearing his armor he probably would have broken a bone. But Tony heard Jarvis speak up again about his damage being done, "Eighty percent left sir." Jarvis added as Tony gave a sigh of frustration. "Well the luring away did work for awhile. I think at the worst case scenario, we're going to have to toss Foom into a different dimension. That'd keep him busy for awhile." Tony said seeing where the monster had heavily damaged his armor and it sparked a bit. That was going to be one repair that he had to worry about later.
