It took a a day to get back to Magneto's island. Last time Neila ran into Francis and another person of his team. And now she was back again to find Pearl Anderson, the older sister to a girl named Rose. Once off the ship Neila then made her way deeper into the island holding the photo of Pearl. " Ugh... This is going to be like looking for a needle in a hay stack...." Neila grumbled as she walked around and that she had no idea where to look... All she could do was wonder around and just hope no one from the Brother hood would bug her. But then again they would most likely know where to find this girl... But none the less she still rather not run into them for what would she say why she was looking for Pearl? that she was sent here by the Avengers on behalf on her younger sister Rose? Oh yeah she could see that going well....

Being a telepath he felt the minds of many. He had touched them all to see what they were up to and to make sure that they were alright. He mostly left them alone, and those that were not telepaths would have barely sensed his presence since he was being so gentle. He did notice something. There was someone new arriving in the streets but she was different. His first guess what she had been from the main lands, Bennet had not been there in a long time since he had been enclosed in the crypt that Apocalypse had shoved him in years ago. He wasn't about to go back any time soon as well. He began to walk through the streets as the mutants went on their way to see if he could find this troubled soul to see if he could help her. As a crusader, it was one of his tasks, to help those in need and ask nothing in return. Finally after some walk through the city he thought he saw the red headed girl through his white eyes, "Is something the matter miss? You seem to be looking for something." Exodus asked as he knew his appearance may be frightening, but he did not see fear from the looks of the girl right of the bat. He was sure fear was something she did not know.

Neila was starting to get annoyed, just how in the heck was she going to find Pearl? And that if she is even alive.. But then again she was told she was a mermaid mutant so it was likely she was alive but was she able to find her way here? Ugh this was going to take forever or end up being a wild goose chase.. Oh well at lest she got to get off the main land for a while as the cops cooled off.. As Neila walked she looked at the photo of Pearl and her sister Rosemary. trying her best not to be really noticed by anyone.. But as luck would have it she was noticed by a brotherhood member.. When the mutant walked up to her Neila stopped and looked up at him. As most would have been scared by the way he looked Neila just shrugged it off. As she may or may not have seen worse in her life on the streets of New York.. And that this mutant did not seem to want to attack.. Well yet anyway.. Though she was a little uneasy as she did not know this mutant but then again she always felt that way with anyone she did not know.. " Yeah I'm looking for this girl.. Her name is Pearl Anderson.. A ship she was on got caught in a storm and her sister Rosemary Anderson wants to make sure is ok. As they where both on the ship along with their parents when the boat sank.. Do you know if she is here? And if so where can I find her?"" Neila asked. Not that she wanted to ask someone from this island for help but seeing as he came up to her and she had no idea where to look she did not have much of a choice. Neila then held up the photo of Pearl and Rosemary." This is what she looks like."" Neila added then waited for a answer.

Exodus did have an evil side but now was not the time to bring it out. Now someone needed help as he'd offer it as best as he could. He was after all a crusader right? There was a time to be evil and a time not to be. "I have heard of a name like that. I know one of the other Brotherhood members mentioned a name like that in the past few months. I'm also able to read minds. I can sense it and tell you where she is if that'll help. Unfortunately I have not seen her myself." Exodus said as he looked back at the picture and shook his head explaining how he had not seen the girl before. Though Neila was in luck that he had heard a few things. Pearl had some how slipped by him in these past couple of months. But he had no interest with the girl unless she was involved with the Brotherhood.

Neila nodded when Exodus said he had heard a name like that from someone he knew. Well it was a start, better then what she had before. Though she stiffened when he said he could read minds. That was not good... Not good at all what if he read her mind for the full reason she was here? And learned she was sent by the Avengers?? Ohh she could see that not ending well for her.. For he could think she was a spy or something... Great just great.. Though she just nodded. " Alright sounds good, a small lead is better then nothing. Please lead the way." Neila said trying to be polite as she did not want to tick off Exodus or anyone else for that matter right now.

"We'll head towards the Citadel to see if she's there." Exodus said. It was true, Neila had gotten off to a start in searching for Pearl. She was going to find her in no time so she could return to the Avengers with their news. But for now it seemed like the crusader was not interested in asking questions, he could sense a little bit of nervousness in the younger girl but didn't say a thing. Instead he began to make his way towards the citadel, trusting that Neila would follow. "We'll hopefully have this done soon for you." He said in an assuring voice.

Neila nodded and started to follow Exodus. though she remained silent as she was not wanting to say something foolish that would end up giving her away. Though so far Exodus was not asking any questions and that was a good thing and it seemed he was not trying to fully read her mind.. Yet anyway if he had Neila just knew she would be thrown in jail or something.. But then again she has done nothing wrong but the rules on this island could be very different then back on the main land.. And even though this place was made by mutants for mutants Neila still felt uneasy here... Could be the fact of there being so much water and her being a fire bender.. Eh oh well...
Mean while at the Pearl was near the Citadel. She was in the garden area looking at the flowers and watering some of them using her powers. She had been practicing now whenever she got a chance. If she was going to join the Brotherhood she had to master her powers. And with this island being in the ocean there was plenty of water for her to work with. Though she always thought about Rose and her family.. If she had been strong enough she could have saved them... She still hung on to the hope they where out there somewhere. And that one day she would find them... But for now she was doing all she could.

As they walked Exodus focused more on trying to find the girl by searching other's minds just barely. He touched their consciousness and before they noticed that a telepath had touched him he disappeared. There was one memory that he found a few times of seeing a girl walk through the Citadel that looked like the one in the image that Neila had. So he'd start there.
He lead Neila to the Citadel as he began to search around for the girl again he seemed to be silent the entire time as the two were continuing on their walk and search. Finally he stopped at the door where Pearl was out in the gardens. It would lead directly to her but he felt like he'd have to continue on with Neila to get through the maze of gardens since she didn't know her way around. "There. In the gardens. It may have taken some time but that's where I believe where the girl is." He explained as he opened the doors with his telekinetics and barely moved a hand for it.

When they came to the doors Neila stopped and stared at them, Ugh they where getting pretty close to Magneto's what she likes to call throne room. Yeah he may have given her a invite himself but she really really did not want to run into him right now... As she would have to lie to his face and mister telepath over here would surly pick up on that...Neila then looked at Exodus when he spoke saying Pearl was just beyond these doors and then using powers he opened them. Yep would not wanna tick this guy off.. All she had was fire powers but she had a feeling that would not mean much with thus guy... Neila nodded and then entered the gardens. She then followed Exodus as he was leading the way. And soon they found her, Pearl and it seems like she was watering the flowers. " Excuse me. You are Pearl Anderson right? " Neila asked just to make sure,
Pearl stopped what she was doing when she heard someone say her name, She looked over see a girl she had never seen before and Exodus. She had seen him from afar but never got the courage to go speak to him. Even though he is a part of the Brotherhood he was a little scary looking.. "Y-yes... I'm Pearl Anderson how may I help you?" Pearl asked very unsure what was going on. Neila smiled and held up the photo she had gotten, "I;m here to tell you your sister Rosemary is alive and well and is on the main land. And now I can tell her you are fine as well it seems." Neila said before she was practically glomped by Pearl.
Hearing those words Pearl was filled with such joy that Exodus would be able to feel it without even trying to. Her sister is alive!! Oh god that was the best news ever. " My sister is alive!! Oh thank you!!" Pearl said and without thinking hugged Neila who looked really shocked. Neila blinked unsure what to do as she had never been hugged much hack she had never been hugged by francis.. "Y-yeah she is alive and well could you let go now?" Neila asked feeling unseay. Pearl let go, stepping back rubbing the back of her head." S-sorry I;m just so happy right now." Pearl said with a smile.

It wasn't long before the gardens were opened for the two as he walked in after Neila. He was watching her carefully to make sure she wasn't going to try anything that'd take back his word. He hoped at least that she was going to go back to her homeland soon so he wouldn't have to worry that much about her being on the island. He just never knew that Magneto had sent her a personal invitation of possibly being allowed on the island. He was probably trying to avoid trouble, and that was the last thing they needed right now. Exodus watched the two as they were talking with each other, and as Neila gave the news, Pearl rushed over to Neila's side to hug her. It was true that he felt the emotions of Pearl finding out that one of her family members was still alive. Exodus didn't have any family left as far as he knew. So if he died, it probably didn't matter except for a few like Magneto. That was it.
Most of his family from what he knew had been dead, he could seek out the ones that hey were alive, but he doubted that they really would care to know of his existence. He was after all a bit scary looking, especially with the red skin. "Perhaps we can arrange a time in the near future when you can see your sister again. I'm sure Magneto wouldn't mind it." Exodus said as he watched the two but it was clear there wasn't much emotion in his voice. This was after all Pearl's moment and not his.

Pearl wiped away tears of joy as she looked at Neila, though when Exodus spoke of arranging a time she could see Rosemary again she shook her head and looked at him. " That is a great offer Mr. Exodus.. But just knowing my sister is alive and well is good enough for me. I.. I don't think we will be able to see each other ever again.." Pearl said as she started to feel sad but her happiness was stronger. " besides it would just hurt to see each other and have to say goodbye again." Pearl said as she kept wiping away her tears. Well there was more to then that.. Pearl was scared to see Rosemary again.. It was her fault after all what happened... If she had not asked them to come with her to say goodbye all of her family would be safe....
Neila said nothing as it was not her place to do so. Though she was starting to feel uncomfortable.. As this was making her think of her own family... Though they kicked her out when she was just 13 when she first got her powers. Not that she cared though. " Well... I guess that is that... I;m going to go rent a room at a hotel.. And leave tomorrow.. It was a long trip here and I'm tired..." Neila said with a yawn and started to leave.

"Very well I understand. You can always come to me if you change your mind about things." Exodus said with a soft nod as he watched the girls as she spoke. She was at least very happy about the news and that was all they could hope for. His task and as well as Neila's had been complete so he was starting to think it was best to leave Pearl on her own. He knew Magneta had befriended her so she had someone to talk too to when it came to those types of things. Exodus wasn't exactly a man for reunions so to speak.
"It seems like everything is in order here. I suppose I should take my leave as well." Exodus said as he heard that Neila was starting to go as well. She had to get back on the main land to report the news towards the Avengers. Of course who knew what was going on with them at that point. And it didn't matter much to him. They had their own agenda while he had his.
