Taking up the invitation (Open to Avengers)

Tony had been working in his office again as he received a message from Jarvis that someone unusual was up at the front gate. He pulled up one of the security cameras onto his laptop a bit surprised to see that it was a kid and he was asking for Pietro. "Pietro must have invited him in, that's the only thing that I can think of." Tony said as he called the speedster to go unlock the door for Armin. Soon he picke "Heay Pietro, there's a boy who's been asking for you at the front. Care if I join in?" Tony asked. He was in another part of the building but it would take a couple of seconds as he got down to were the boy was on the final floor. Tony would take the obvious route, the elevator. He was wearing a bit fashionable clothing so his arch reactor could not be seen but there was a bit of a faint glow. It wasn't long before he got a call back from Pietro. "Oh yeah that's Armin. I met him in Mutant town awhile ago. I think you should meet him Tony, anyways I'll see you down there in a bit." Pietro added as he heard the alright from Tony as he hung up the phone.

It wasn't long before Pietro got down there first and saw the young boy just like Tony had said. So he had apparently taken the invite as he unlocked the door for the Armin to get in as he swiped his identicard. "So it looks like you took the invite Armin? Also I hope you don't mind but Tony Stark was interested in meeting you. If that's alright with you?" Pietro asked as he spoke to the boy as he could come in. It seemed like all the floors were busy at this time of day. At night it was a bit different as most people had gone home and left the day of work. Of course that didn't mean that everyone was asleep at those hours.

"Ah that's understandable. There's usually a lot going on here and it always seems busy." Pietro said feeling a bit bad for Armin that he had nothing to do all day. It just didn't seem right in the speedster's mind. Surely there would have been something to do for the boy at his home.

"I'm sure there's a good reason why he was interested in you, Armin." Pietro said as he tried to stay positive for Armin on why Tony was interested in coming down here to meet him. Tony was good at picking out those who had potential, in fact if it wasn't for Tony he would have never been on the Avengers. And the same with his sister. The two owed it to him and they might as well be a loner at this point if they never asked him. It wasn't long before Stark came down from the higher parts of the floors as the elevator opened revealing the man as he came out and walked to where the others are. "Tony this is Armin. And Armin this is Tony. I met him in Mutant Town the other day." Pietro said introducing the two and he put out his hand in greeting and to shake. "It's nice to meet you Armin." Tony said wondering if he'd take it or not. That was up to him.

Once they were done shaking Tony did notice that Armin's attention was on him. But of course he was also watching Pietro to see if he had anything to say. "So Pietro do you mind giving us some details on what you saw in Armin?" Tony asked as he wanted to hear a bit of the story. "Well it seems Armin has electrical powers. They're pretty impressive from the ones that I saw him use." Quicksilver said remembering the short fight that they had gotten into. Well it was kind of is fault since they were after him. He felt bad that Armin had gotten involved and he kind of froze but it was clear that he could defend himself in the fight.

"Electrical powers? We don't have many heroes here that have that kind of ability so yours is a first, Armin." Tony said as he listened to what Pietro had to say. He looked back at the boy wondering if he had anything else to add to it. Though Pietro's big question had not come yet as he wanted to ask it to Tony if they could help train him in using his powers. And of course, that was also up to Armin if they let him.
