<<APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY>>
The very definition of your self
The very definition of your self
Over all Personality:
Dalton is a complete tomboy. She's crazy about firearms, videogames, cars, motorcycles and things that go boom. Also, she's completely obsessed with her job. The Army (and now S.H.I.E.K.L.D.) is her passion and her hobby. When she's not working, she's training or exercising at the gym. When none of that is possible, getting together with 'the boys' to drink and talk about their job or just tell and retell old stories works just as well.
Despite her obsession, this girl knows how to have fun and can be the soul of any party with her loud voice, thunderous laughter and endless jokes and anecdotes. She can even be quite a flirt if things with her husband aren't working and she's had a drink or two, but it never goes beyond a one night stand.
As sympathetic as she might first appear, she's blunt and brutally honest, speaking her mind without a filter. Tact and other social delicacies escape her grasp and she sees them as being unnecessarily trecherous.
She's passionate about everything she does (be it playing a game, organizing a picnic or being deployed). Always looks like she's either having the time of her life or about to go have a blast and has a drive and motivation that many people find intimidating.
To those who don't know her, she might seem bipolar, as she appears to be all enthusiastic, loud and optimistic when there's people around but when she thinks nobody is looking, Liz becomes a gloom, moody person because of all the pain she doesn't let her own mind acnowledge in order to avoid being a weakling.
Dalton is stubborn as a mule and the kind of person who's always moving forward. That makes her a great survivor. She has been to hell and back, and even enjoyed some parts of the trip. No matter how bad life gets for her, she'll always try to find a way out thinking outside the box out of sheer will to live.
She's always wanted to be a mutant and is openly pro-mutant. The fact that she isn't one of them makes her feel less of a human being for some reason. It motivates Liz to try harder, not only to prove the world that she's as tough as any of the men she works with, but as any mutant out there. That overly competitive attitude has caused her several damage that could have been easily avoided if there weren't a rather kamikaze side to her.
If given the choice, she prefers animals to people, because they'll probably never hurt her on purpose but out of instincts. Still, there have never been any pets at her house because sometimes there's nobody in for months.
Likes:
Cats, nature, FPS videogames, racecars, motorcross, mutants, America, watching movies & TV series, McDonald's, sex, warm sunny days, picnics, hiking, cleaning her gun, working, poker, camo clothes, sunglasses, tank tops, being 'one of the boys', beer.
Dislikes:
Reading, cold/cloudy weather, snow, Christmas, her mother, weak people, suicidal people, whiny people, anti-mutants, the English accent, English food, discrimination, racism, dresses, girly/feminine clothes, liars, lazy people, housewives.
Over all Appearance:
Liz is 5'9'' tall and weights 145lbs, most of which is muscle, considering just how hard she trains at the gym and at home. She has blonde hair and yellowish eyes, that really are just a very faint shade of brown. Her skin is fair and gets red easily whenever she's upset or embarrassed, though the first is way more likely to happen than the second.
When she was younger, Dalton wore her blond hair longer, tied in a bun, but after she turned 24 she cut it really short out of convenience and wore it like a man's for some time. Then, as she got closer to her thirties she wore it a bit longer again and, when Liz chose a quieter job that didn't involve deployment, she let it grow down her shoulders. Now she wears it like that, usually pulled up in a ponytail, either high up in her head or at the nape or her neck, depending on the ocasion.
Her taste in clothes goes from sporty to tomboyish and she hates the occasions where she's forced to wear a dress, a skirt or heels, as she favors comfortable practical clothes over anything aesthetic.
Anything else: Has a vine like tattoo in her lower back with initials of her two sons in a caligraphic font hanging like fruit from it.
Her right beast is a complete fake because of a battle wound that virtually destroyed it. Since she was getting surgery, the other one has been enlarged to a more normal size for her body so she now looks less flat, yet still less curvy than most women.
Items: A blue pacifier with a white bunny print.

Skills: Dalton has been trained in hand-to-hand combat, surviving in the wild, fishing, hunting, flying planes and choppers, marksmanship, handling groups of people, throwing knives and self-discipline. She can handle anything from a Beretta to assault rifles and snipers. Can speak two other languages as she was the foreign language expert of the group as well as the heavy hitter.
Powers: She's a human, so she doesn't have any gifts, though she's very stubborn and determinated, which can keep her going long after many would have given up.
Weaknesses: The woman can have a temper when she feels life's being unfair with her. She's a workaholic and an adrenaline junkie. Gets adicted to substances really easy, from caffeine to heroin (not that she's tried that one). Has no tolerance to weak, whiny people. Her stubbornness can get the best of her sometimes. Not combat-related but she SUCKS at cooking. BIG TIME.

History: Born to two British parents living in America due to a secret training SAS program her father was undertaking, Liz was a normal American girl until her mother commited suicide when she was 12. The woman had always missed her homeland and openly resented her absent husband and rebellious daughter for making her unhappy.
After that, Liz's father asked to be transfered back to England. The kid had never been close to her mother and, after her death, daddy's little girl became even more attached to him. They thought very much alike and spent all of his free time together. He taught her to shoot, fish, swim, track animals and survive in the wild and also took her in camping or hunting trips that lasted weeks whenever he had the time. She found in him the best friend her mother should have been and he found in his daughter most of what he had expected from his wife outside the bedroom. She even joined him for his morning training routine since she was a young tween, which explains her flat chest due to extreme exercising at an age where her breasts should have been developing.
A week before she turned eighteen, Liz, who had always been a pro mutant person who secretly wished her entire life to discover she too had some kind of power, had a terrible argument with her mutant hating father and it escalated terribly as she blamed him for her mother's suicide and he hit her.
After that, she ran away from home and bought a ticket to America the second she turned eighteen. She was already a citizen and the only job she could think of to pay for her rent was joining the army. She made career quickly there, due to all the tricks and training she had gotten from her father and was ascended very quickly. With little else to entertain herself, she became a workaholic and trained hard all the time that she wasn't on duty, trying to prove all those men that she was just as tough as them, even as tough as the mutants in the forces.
In her first week in America, she was crossing the street without paying attention when a young black british man saved Liz's life by pulling her back by her clothes. They went for a cup of coffee to calm her nerves and she learned that he was there with his father, trying to audition to become an actor, because he apparently was rather good in England. She also learned that his name was David and that his father had had an accident too and since they hadn't paid their travel inssurance, he had a huge debt to pay and no way to do it. In a moment of jouvenille impulsiveness, she married him for the visa and had him join the Army too, so he managed to pay the bills even though his father died in the end.
A year or two into their relationship, she became pregnant and her team was left behind after a mission went south, so they were trapped behind the enemy lines for months. She took command after the leader passed away and used her survival skills to keep the rest of the group alive. Her baby boy was delivered in the middle of the desert under extreme circumstances and the party was finally picked up by the Army soon after. David and her decided to put the baby up for an open adoption and focus on their career, while peridically visiting their son as often as they could.
The way she handled herself and her group back at Afghanistan earned Liz another promotion and she kept on going up the ranks, but the adoption affected her very soft-cored husband and he started to drink a lot. She pretended to be unaffected, but she cheated on David with every man that crossed her way and, in the end they decided to become just room-mates, as their relationship wasn't working.
For some years they both focused on their respective careers, living and training together as best friends. She worked with the Special Forces for a while (an honor rarely conceded to a woman) and at some point, Liz and Dave started to feel attracted to each other again eight years later. They decided to get married again, even though they had never been officially divorced, and had another son, called Gabriel. She then chose to leave her job for something more low-key in order to take good care of her family. She became a troop instructor and was home every day after long years of on and off deployment.
Everything seemed to be going great for the little family (with their older son joining them on the weekends) until the day they went to pick Gabriel from daycare and the teacher told them that he had already been picked up by a man who entered the place with a gun, threatened everyone and looked specifically for the boy. They both assumed it was some kind of vendetta for something neither one quite understood and things got grimmer when they got a tiny little hand in a box over the mail a week later. The couple gave their youngest son for dead and tried to continue with their lives but it was hell. At first, they tried to stay together, but when he was back to drinking and she started cheating on him again, she filed a divorce that's stil unresolved and she moved out of the house, cutting all communications with her Ex. Then an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. recruited her with the promise that they'd help her find her son Gabriel, if he was still alive, but no real progress has been made on that area.
