Over all Personality:
Emma is a result of her past. Her family's ruthless, cold, domineering values, along with impossibly high standards laid the basic blueprints of her personality. Then, her first nasty experiences with the cruel real world made her cold and distrustful towards people. The fact that many of her students had died because of her over the years weights heavily on her, even if she appears to have little room for remorse in her life.

All of that made Emma a realistic person who knows all the horrors in this world and isn't willing to lie to the younger generations about how ugly life can be for mutants. She believes innocence is dangerous and has made herself hard to avoid further suffering, putting a distance between herself and people. In a way, that's why she's always trying to train the younger generations: so they'd be able to fend for themselves in a world where she almost got lost herself before she detached from it emotionally.

In a way, she imposes most of her father's values on her own students, expecting nothing but excellence from them. Most of her pleasure comes from either wielding power (like being the White Queen of the Hellfire Club or the Headmistress of a school), or from shallow materialistic things such as expensive clothes, luxury cars, pedicures and massages and other materialistic stuff she considers harmless for being inanimate.

Also, she uses her sarcasm and dry-wit to keep people away, probably because her experiences with love and trust didn't end up well. However, she's not without feelings, she just chooses to be rational and an efficient career-focused person to avoid further disappointments, as she has lost her faith in people. An exception to that (and to a degree) would be Scott Summers and some of her students.



Likes: Herself, shopping, living in the lap of luxury, power, massages, looking good, teaching, practicality.

Dislikes: Stupid people (everyone but herself), not getting her way, her students being killed, feeling vulnerable, emotive/naif people, most of her family.

Over all Appearance: Emma stands at five foot ten and even though she usually weights around 144lbs, her diamond form weights 436lbs. Her fair skin and blue eyes would stand out more if she didn't dye her brown hair blonde so thoroughly. She wears it a bit over shoulder-length and it's usually not tied up.

She chooses to wear mostly white outfits because her brother Christian once said it was definitely her color. Her outfits have ranged from revealing to outrageous throughout her history, most including bodices, corsets and cloaks but she seems to have become a bit more sober with age. Emma always chooses the best, most expensive and exclusive haute côture items and accessories. She often combines that with diamonds and some make up. Not that she needs any.

Skills: Emma has a majestic mind that allowed her to get multiple college degrees in various fields. She's an electronic expert, a great planner and a hell of a businesswoman. Also, she has some training in self-defense and hand-to-hand combat. Having been raised with really high standards, she's used to excel in everything she does and usually, that's the case.

Powers: Telepathy (projecting and reading thoughts, astral projection, psychic shield, mind-control, and more) and potential for TK. The ability to transform into a diamond form where her body literally transforms into organic diamond and becomes indestructible (except for a weak spot), tireless and numbed to cold, heat, pain and empathy among other things.

Weaknesses: Extreme ethnocentrism. Ruthless ambition and thirst for power. Lack of a significant degree of empathy with others. The cynic way she sees the world is definitely both an advantage and a flaw. There's a chink in her diamond armor while in that form, that if hit with, say a diamond bullet, could destroy her.

History: Emma's done pretty much everything there is to try under the sun, and then some more. Born in Boston, Marssachusetts, Emma comes from a wealthy and very demanding family, where her only emotional support came from her older brother. She first struggled at school due to being bullied, but once her telepathic powers started to bloom she cheated by getting the test results from her teachers' minds becoming a model student and then, a teacher herself by recommendation.

That ended when her family situation changed after her older sister Adrienne showed their father a video of Emma kissing a teacher and she retaliated by telling him of her sister's modeling carreer and taking photos of him with his mistress. That entitled her to become the carrier of the family fortune, as her father found her to be a lot like him. However, they had a deal-breaking disagreement, after his father decided to commit her brother to a mental institution and Emma runs away from home, ending homeless.

After a while, she met a man named Troy and eventually moved with him, agreeing to con her own father to help her boyfriend pay his debts, but the whole operation backfired and ended with Troy dying to save her. In the end, her father paid for the ransom of the faked kidnapping and she ran away with the money after taking care of her captives using her powers. She uses that money to enroll in college, where a fair amount of teenager drama takes place between her, a fellow telepath and her former mentor Ian who she still loved. It all ended with her leaving the other telepath comatose and being rejected by her former teacher when he learned she was a mutant.

This makes her distrustful and cold. A while later she allied up with Sebastian Shaw and a few others to kill the Council of the Chosen and take control of the Hellfire Club. They set themselves as Lords Cardinals of the Inner Circle of the Hellfire club, where no little bdsm takes place according to some remarks she made later on to other Marvel characters.

In parallel of becoming the White Queen of the Hellfire Club, Emma also became Chairman of the board and CEO of Frost International, showing her true gift for business like her father before her and using part of that money to fund the Club. As The White Queen, she opposes and fights the X-Men in several opportunities while training a group called the Hellions. Later on, she invites Magneto to join the Hellfire Club and they end up voting Shaw out from the Club.

When the Sentinel attack is launched on her and the Hellions, Emma placed herself in a psychic coma to survive, but most of her students are killed.

From there on, she had several attempts at either forming up her own academy or joining someone else's to train young mutants, as she thinks that's the only way to ensure a future for them. Most of her attempts end up with her students killed or turning against her, but she somehow keeps trying, to the point where she joined the X-men and taught (and later became Headmistress) of their school. In the meanwhile, she had a psychic affair with Scott Summers and ended up being his girlfriend after his marriage with Jean Grey goes foul and she dies repeatedly.
