"Oh,"Sierra said, when understanding now there was definitely a misunderstanding at Emma's words. Though now that was going to be quite a conflict in those teachings as with her squad under Kitty they were meant to learn team work and trust, being able to rely on others when things got bad. This made Sierra frown slightly as she didn't know who she would be able to believe now in their teachings when they would be drastically different. To truly improve her trust in others and allow that to blossom once again or to truly keep on her current path of hardly trusting anyone except her own flesh and blood?
"Like I've said Ms.Frost I've learned that lesson a long time ago, I don't plan to allow myself into a false sense of security any longer." Sierra spoke seriously, knowing all too well how the world can treat even kids who were only twelve or even younger. Human or mutant, it wouldn't matter to most people who dwelled deep into experimenting on others for their own sick experiments and goals. It was one thing that made Sierra sick just thinking about those memories each times and was almost tempted to take that teaching to heart from Emma Frost herself. Sure she'd still do the whole squad thing that school had recently implemented but at the same time it never hurt to have a much different view then what her squad leader was trying to teach which deep down the girl hadn't been ecstatic about from the beginning anyway.
Though she nodded at the next words, "Well training altogether is still important." She stated, knowing she was always pushing herself to better learn her powers despite them having been around since she had been kidnapped. Though seeing the crooked smile and hearing Emma's reply Sierra had a feeling they might just get along.
Seeing the sudden change though Sierra nodded as she glanced back at the folders and knew she had homework to do herself, "Well I have to finish this stuff my self anyway."She replied but looked back at the woman, seeing the faint challenging smile to which Sierra grinned, "Well maybe one of these days I might come to see you."She assured her before turning back to her studies and began finishing up her essay.
