Seeing the movement from behind Firo Otsama immediately went to warn the conductor but the young man seemed to have it under control already. Well least Firo wasn't completely without ways to defend himself, so perhaps there was more to this man than Otsama originally had expected. Least for a human he wasn't so bad. Though this distraction was enough for the man Otsama had pinned with her knee to draw his own pocket knife and the moment she heard the flick of it being opened she didn't have a chance to stop the man as he stabbed her in the side, making her snarl in pain. By reflex she broguht he knee up and slammed it down into his spine, making the man yelp in pain.
The other one she had pinned tried to take his own chance to grab for a gun he had hidden on his person but even with Otsama not seeing this she wasn't taking her chances anymore. These men were getting on her nerves and stabbing her no longer was helping their fate. She had tried to keep them alive this time for authorities to handle but she was tired of giving mercy now and allowed her hands to curl into fists and stabbing the two men through the spines quite cleanly and killing them instantly. Least so it appeared. She could still faintly hear them breathing, the breathes labored and she knew they'd only have minutes to live, probably five at best as she stood and drew her claws from their backs which were at this rate stained with blood of the men who attempted this heist. For now though she decided to give mercy and broke the necks of the two she had pinned to just kill them out right.
She wasn't always one to give mercy and though they had irritated her she wasn't in the mood to torture her prey or play with them. "I'm fine, I've faced much worse." She told Firo, grumbling a bit as she pulled the pocket knife as if it was merely a nuisance and tossed it aside as her skin healed almost instantly. But she had bled somewhat, mostly from keeping the knife in for a short time after she had been stabbed. Examining the area she could see it was slightly bruised already but that was slowly disappearing as well.
Turning towards Firo she looked at him as well, "How about you? Still holding up?"She asked him in return not really caring if he found her actions appalling in any way.

Firo didn't like to kill but Monster never cared. Hence why the men on past heists ended up dead most of the time. Once Otsama was done, Firo nodded his head. He had worse stab wounds before and it would take the normal amount of time it would for any other soul to heal from it. There were times where Firo wished that he had a healing factor but sadly he didn't.
"I've had worse stabs than this." Firo replied, he turned his gaze to the suitcase. "Now...what to do with this?"
Giving it to the police would help but...would it be worth guarding for the whole ride? This suitcase was the reason for the heist. For these stupid men to try something.

Nodding when hearing his answer she almost wondered how often such heists happened when Firo was on a train. Obviously this wasn't the first time he had gone through such an experience and likely wouldn't be the last. From what Otsama knew trains were notorious for being targets of heists or criminal activity so this didn't really surprise her in the least.
But as Firo said they now had a suitcase to worry about that had obviously been set on this train for something. The question now was what was it for? "Well how about we take a little peek to what's inside. I'm sure your as curious as I am to what lies within that was worth so much...trouble." Otsama had paused to consider the right phrase but thought trouble would be a good way to sum this up. Walking over to Firo she took the brief case from his hand and moved over to one shelf that was empty and carefully began flicking open the locks on the brief case before she opened it up and examined inside.

Firo just nodded and held the case to Otsama. Once he knew that she had it in her hands, he let go and watched her go to a shelf. Once she was about to open it, Firo turned his gaze away from it when he thought he heard something else open. What he saw made him react quickly. There was a man in one of the suits entering the car with a gun in their hand pointed at them.
"DOWN!" Firo said quickly as he reached out, attempting to put his hand on Otsama's shoulder and get her to duck some.
The sound of the gun going off soon echoed in the car. If Firo got Otsama to get down, the bullet would go into his left shoulder and cause him to fall on the ground.
(ooc: sorry if it's not good)

At the moment someone was walking towards the car was when Otsama stiffened, turning her head enough to listen closely. At frist they were faint until they gradually got closer to the car making her realize it might be someone coming to see what the hold up was from the passengers, other conductors, or another of the goons. It was at that moment one of the men came to the car, "Way ahead of you."She said but didn't get the chance to duck down on her own and watched Firo get struck in the arm, making her a bit concerned for the young man. "Geez, you keep this up you'll be lucky to ride a train ever again." She said to him before glaring towards the man as he seemed ready to unleash another volley of bullets.
"I'd suggest you stay back though, because these guys are really pushing my patience." As Otsama said this her eyes became visibly more feral-looking and her ears becoming slightly more pointed. It had been a long while since she used this part of her powers but maybe it just might deter these guys from continuing. Snarling she stood and her body began to shift, growing in size and mass and taking only but a short time to become a werewolf, howling loudly enough the man began to back away. Though her clothes tore slightly they at least were elastic enough to accommodate the new form. With now being in her mahogany furred wolf form she walked towards the man that was backing away slightly.
Deep down though she hoped Firo would be able to take the chance to grab the suitcase or at least destroy it. If the device was of no use then it might force the men to back off.

Firo grabbed hold of his shoulder that had just been shot through. To death with it all that hurt!!! Monster didn't take to the wound well either, it wanted out and right now! Firo closed his eyes and gritted his teeth, though if Otsama looked she would've noticed that his teeth were slightly pointed for a few moments. Though they soon went back to looking like normal teeth.
NO! Firo hissed in his head at Monster.
"Trust me...I've had...had much worse..." Firo replied however there was a strange tone to it.
Even though he was pushing Monster back, the insanity was starting to show itself. Opening his eyes, he turned his gaze to Otsama just in time to see her change. Her changing caught him off guard and really it just reminded of how it hurt when he turned into Monster. And really, turning into Monster hurt a great deal.
Releasing his injured shoulder, he reached for the suitcase and grabbed it by the handle. Whatever was in this thing, he wasn't sure on how he was going to be able to break it. Monster was the one that had the powerful strength, not him. He did go down the car a bit to give Otsama more room plus he was going to just try and break the thing.
Raising the suitcase into the air, he brought it down onto the ground as fast and hard as he could. The case slammed down onto the ground and burst open. The contents were hidden underneath the case since the back end was facing up. He was about to move it to the side to try and break the contents, he ended up losing his footing and falling to the ground.
The reason for this was due to Monster mainly, though he was still losing blood from two wounds. He was trying not to start laughing at loud, he was losing this battle pretty much. If he lost it, he wasn't sure what was going to happen.

Hearing the slight strangeness in Firo's tone made Otama wonder if the man was alright or beginning to lose it from his wounds. Even if he had worse it still worried her that he may eventually pass out or end up in critical condition before they would reach their destination. Why she was worried for Firo she didn't know and Otsama could easily just leave him there to die if she wanted to but deep down it felt wrong to do so, especially when he went to great lengths to even help stop this band of men who seemed quite hard pressed to get the contents of the case.
Growling a bit Otsama managed to back the man into a corner, but grunted as bullets were fired at close range which embedded into her skin. Yet again however, the bullets began to drop to the floor and her wounds gradually heal as she grabbed the man by the throat followed by a thud of his gun dropping to the floor as he clawed at her hand to get her to let go. Even pleading for Otsama to spare him. Unfortunately, Otsama's merciful side was gone as she merely threw the man hard across to the wall near her, his body giving a sickening thud before he crumpled to the floor, only twitching occasionally but she was certain he was out cold. Her strength in this form was far surpassed that of her human one so she doubted the man would get up any times soon which now left the suitcase.
Though it was at that moment she heard someone fall, turning to see Firo on the floor. Once again she began to suspect blood loss was the culprit, making him weakened and unable to finish the task. Understanding this she crouched on all fours and walked towards him only to catch a faint scent, one mixed with the conductor yet different at the same time. Confused, the lupine mutant stopped near the conductor, looking him over closely in wonder as she tried to make sense of this new scent she had not detected until now. Perhaps there was more to this man as she suspected.
Shaking her head Otsama decided to leave this for later as she moved to the suitcase and flipped it over, discovering the contents on the floor. It seemed a few different parts, chips, wires, and connectors, which meant the device wasn't even assembled yet. Growling softly she began stomping about on the pieces until they were in tiny bits, making them unusable and now basically worthless in value. The men had wasted their efforts for nothing.
Growling one final time Otsama finally returned to normal, cracking a few joints as she stretched and adjusted back to her normal form before turning back to Firo. Though in her expression there was obvious tiredness now, the form usually taking quite a bit out of her each time which is why she used it sparingly. "You look like you are hardly able to stand." She said as she approached Firo and knelt beside him, eyeing him for a long moment. "So, you have enough strength to explain why your scent seems to suddenly have a slight difference in it conductor?" She asked in an almost casual, curious one before she decided to add, "In fact, this Monster has a connection to you doesn't it."She said, more as a statement than a question.

Firo wasn't paying attention to what was going on around him. Trying to keep Monster back was what he was more focused on. It felt like no time had really past since he wasn't paying attention to what was going on so when the cracking of bones caught his ear, he thought it was his bones. Though he did notice that it wasn't since nothing had started to change.
At first, Firo didn't answer Otsama. He couldn't really stand at the movement, so staying down was the best option. Trying not to laugh was still a problem, sadly the last statement that Otsama gave caused him to laugh for a few moments.
"It...It's that obvious huh?" Firo asked as he tried to stop laughing. "You're right....there's a connection. One I...I really don't care for..."
Moving his hand away from his face, he turned his gaze to Otsama. Though his eyes were red now and there was no way to not see that.
"I...I'm not trying to laugh..." Firo explained. "I think by now it's...it's obvious to you just what that connection is."

His laughing unnerved Otama slightly, never seeing someone laugh when they were facing death and likely in a bad situation. In a way she did find it slightly creepy. "It wasn't obvious before until the change in your scent caught my attention, that's what really had me beginning to put two and two together. It resembles a wolf's scent to a point, which trust me I know that smell since I'm a lupine mutant or someone with wolf traits." She explained to him as she looked at his wounds for a moment to which it was lucky for him she knew first aid, basic but it'd help.
Turning away she looked towards the walls until she saw the first aid kit and went to it and grabbed it quickly, not caring to be exactly gentle with anything and just yanking it from the wall. Coming to his side she began taking out bandages and the rubbing alcohol and began gently rubbing it in the wounds to clean it before wrapping bandages around his arm that had been shot and applying a large band-aid to where he had been hurt elsewhere. "Be lucky I know first aid though, otherwise you might lose much more blood so that Monster inside of you is the least of your problems." She stated as she focused on what she was doing and made sure everything was secure with his bandages. They weren't top grade professional but they were far better then letting him bleed to unconsciousness or death.
Now that was done though she decided to try and talk to the man in hopes it might calm him down, "You know sometimes the connections we have, whether inside or out we can't always choose. You just learn to embrace it and not let it bother you all the time. Trust me, there are just some demons you can't escape." She said, figuring he knew that already before she added. "Though I never did get your name through this whole ordeal, my name is Otsama Duvessa."

His scent huh? Well he did see that Otsama had many skills, so it was truly possible that she could detect something that most normal people wouldn't.
"I wouldn't say.....a wolf is exactly what...Monster looks like." Firo replied as he leaned against one of the items in the car.
A sigh left him as he sat there, closing his eyes. He was merely just trying to suppress Monster further, it wanted out so bad. Firo knew why, Monster wanted to teach these fools a lesson. When Otsama started to apply the rubbing alcohol Firo tensed a bit, he did just get shot and on top of that he was trying to keep something dangerous locked inside.
"Yes...sorry to put you through the trouble of it." Firo responded.
Wincing a bit as Monster tried to get through, Firo held his breath for a second only to exhale. At least now he had one less thing to worry about. Bleeding to death wasn't a way he wanted to go but he really didn't want Monster to get lose.
"Embracing him...is a bad idea." Firo replied as he put a hand to his forehead. "I'm Firo Sternwell."

"Well, I did say to a point there isn't exactly a true wolf scent from whatever it is the lies within you." Otsama told him, knowing she could smell the difference but she wasn't exactly eager to see this thing in action from the way he described it. So this legend obviously was an intimidation thing, likely to protect the trains he worked upon from such men as the ones that had been trying to obtain the item she smashed to bits. An admirable attempt to say the least but obviously not too effective for some groups as these men went on with their plans to steal some technology and this time winded up facing something close to a monster, which sometimes Otsama considered herself from time to time.
Pushing these thoughts aside she merely shook her head, "Don't worry about it, I've had much more troublesome people to deal with." She assured him as she for now leaned against the wall and relaxed for the time being, "Unfortunately, not everyone has a healing factor, mine might have been faster though if I didn't have this damn metal in my body."She sighed, lifting her hand enough to eject the claws on her left hand, seeing they were still stained but she didn't seemed disturbed by the sight. Actually, she had gotten use to it a long time ago during her Weapon X training so it was now a simple matter of cleaning them later. "Honestly, this could have gone much worse if these men had been more serious." She said, not really worrying about the Monster for the moment.

"There's no knowing what he really is." Firo replied. "He looks like a Monster and....acts like one. So that's all that people know he is."
Monster was just that, a monster. Insanity controlled the creature and it didn't care what was in it's way. Friend or foe, all that mattered was catching what it was after. That was it.
"A healing factor of any kind would be nice." Firo said with a faint smile, though it disappeared as he moved his hand away from his face. "If the fight had gotten any more serious, you would've meet him."
Opening his eyes, his eye color had turned back to normal. The red that had taken over his eyes had vanished. He wasn't paying too close attention to what Otsama was doing, so he didn't see her claws.

"Suppose it depends what you view as a monster Firo," Otsama said with a shrug, leaning her head back and closing her eyes for a bit to relax. After all that fighting and the transformation in her werewolf form she definitely was feeling the toll on her body already despite begin able to go on for hours. Least, longer than the average human. That didn't mean she wasn't able to become tired more quickly from time to time and it just happened to be one of those.
Retracting her claws then she merely shrugged slightly, "Maybe, it's not all that great sometimes." She muttered, having come to somewhat despise her healing factor for personal reasons but she didn't exactly say why. Though after a bit the young woman finally stood and stretched a bit, "Come on, we better get back to that car and tell the passengers things are alright now and make sure the rest of those bozos aren't causing some issues." She said as she offered a hand to Firo, half expecting that he still might need support.

"Well everyone views him as one, why should I bother to change their view?" Firo said.
It was true, in fact it was the morons who first caused Monster to be unleashed that gave it the name. That was a long time ago and really, everyone who saw what Firo could turn into thought that. They were afraid of it and since it didn't look like anything normal, they thought it was a Monster. And thus the name stayed.
A small shrug was all Firo could do to respond to Otsama saying that the healing factor might not be great sometimes. That was fine, it was her opinion and he wouldn't argue with that. He did nod to what she said next.
"Yes,let's hope that the remaining morons aren't as stupid as their fellows." Firo said as he accepted Otsama's hand and was brought to his feet.

"At this point, I don't think it'd bother me Firo. I've seen some messed up crap and some I'd view as monsters as it is in my life." Otsama said with a shrug of indifference, showing it really wouldn't faze her. She'd been facing monsters, and in a sense demons, so not a lot got to her anymore. For now she decided she might as well drop the subject and helped Firo to his feet, moving one arm over her shoulder so he had some support and moved past the man she had thrown across the wall with the conductor and opened the door once more, passing through the cars of surprised passengers. Once again she seemed to pay little attention to them.
Once they finally arrived to the car they had left the first men they encountered she found them still strung out but some had moved, likely trying to stand or help their pals. "Seems the passengers listened after all." She remarked softly before moving Firo to a seat so he could rest, briefly looking towards the moving scenery knowing it'd be tempting to just throw the men out and leave them there to rot. But the others there might heavily go against it so she said nothing and simply looked towards the men. "We'll just have to watch them until we get to the next train station."
