The adrenaline rush was over and Emma was finally able to start relaxing again. She felt the tension in her neck and shoulders and knew she should probably book a massage session soon. After all, they had done their best to ensure at least a brief period of peace and she wouldn't worry about possibilities. She'd deal with problems as they came and, right now, Emma knew they all needed to regroup and recover in case something else —and there always seemed to be a new problem waiting around the corner if you lived at the X-Men HQ— needed their attention. In other words, it might be a matter of time, but she was determined to make the most of the down time they deserved so much.
After a long shower and another half an hour getting dressed, Emma felt human again and, as her little world came back into place, she allowed herself to be less egoistical and think about the team. They had done well, but she'd leave the logical analysis for later. There were more important things to take care of at that moment.
Scott, she thought immediately. He put himself under so much pressure he always ended up torturing himself by over-thinking every move in every battle and questioning his own decisions. Analyzing strategies and looking for a way to improve them was healthy to a certain degree, but beating yourself up about all the things that could have been different was pointless and it was a habit she'd have to break out of him, Emma thought walking down to his office. After a long day, she wanted to feel close to him and then he'd take care of the rest of the team, probably.
She gave a quick knock and entered the office looking her best, as usual, as if she had spent the day at a spa instead of fighting with the rest of the team.

"It's ope....oh hey hun." Scott said, looking up from a small mountain of paperwork.
The X-Men's field leader/new P.R. guru was buried in his work (of course), but obviously he had a minute or two for his girlfriend. Usually he would be annoyed by such interruptions, but Emma was the obvious exception. Well her, and when Bobby showed up with a bottle of Jack Daniels on a Friday afternoon.
"How was your day?" he asked, getting up and planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Hopefully at less demeaning than mine. You know, assuring the Super Hero community we're not building a private army, scheduling interviews for good press, trying to balance the bills and all that." Scott added, explaining his day so far. "Are you still entertaining the idea of moving to Paris and leaving the school in Logan's hands. Because after spending 20 minutes on listening to how Clint Barton thinks dating works, I could use a change in career." he said, half-joking.

Emma's gaze wandered around the office and stopper for a moment or two on the pile of paperwork demanding her boyfriend's attention before zeroing on him, a small playful smile on her lips.
"I wish. That lovely place you sent us to made hell look like home." The memory of her day irritated her, so she felt determined to put it behind. She closed the door and walked to his desk, where she sat easily, after one little graceful hop. Emma took a closer look at the paperwork, but lost interest immediately. It was the usual stuff.
"You know you could just choose to put less on your plate, right?" She knew a part of him kept pushing him forward to do almost more than he was capable of. Those high standards and the need to excel, she could relate to, but Scott seemed softer than her somehow and Emma sometimes feared he might crush under pressure if it weren't for her support. Not that the opposite hadn't been true in certain situations, but that was something the White Queen wouldn't be willing to admit easily.
She had to admit the idea was tempting, but she had started to get used to her students there. Starting over with a new group, like she knew she would do wherever she went, would make the past few months a waste of her time. Emma hopped off the desk and walked around Scott's chair, placing her hands on his shoulders and making the softest rubbing motions, still unsure on whether she wanted to go down that road. "The fact that you're talking about a change in career proves how much you need a vacation, darling. Perhaps Paris isn't such a terrible idea if we can have someone surgically remove you from your desk for a weekend, that is." Her hands were rubbing his shoulders a bit harder now, trying to asses the amount of stress he was under.

"Can you actually swing that?" Scott asked, intrigued by the idea. "A vacation isn't exactly the worst idea. That and I could stick paper work duty on Logan and Kitty for a change....that's a solid reason if I've ever heard one." he replied, half-joking.
Scott let out a small grunt as Emma's hands attempted to work out the kinks in his shoulders. "Ooo..that's nice.." he cooed, enjoying the attention. "And thank you. I know I should probably say this more, but I really appreciate this sort of attention. I could probably stand to do more for you in that regard huh?" he asked, basically admitting his short-comings as a boyfriend. "For what it's worth, I feel bad for it. Honestly, scan my mind if you need to tease...just don't dig too deep...." he teased.
"But yeah, Paris sounds nice? Think you can make it happen?"

"I've run a school and an entire company before, Scott. I think I can plan a trip, yes." And even if she couldn't, her money could buy the best agent to get them a dream vacation planed with only a couple of phone calls on her account. His next comment surprised Emma in a good way and she smiled. "Could it be that you're actually starting to take work a bit more lightly Mr.Summers?" She teased, her hands still working on his shoulders, though they would need a pro to untangle that, the thought honestly.
A pleased smile curved Emma's lips. She wasn't too demonstrative either, but had figured the week that had been so stressful and hard for her would have probably been a hundred times worse for her boyfriend. Hence, the massages. Having him give her some credit felt good and Emma felt her own posture changing, shoulders relaxing a bit too. Yes, recognition felt good, especially when there was an unspoken competition between her and the corpse bride going on... and she had only started winning terrain lately.
"It would be nicer if I didn't have to demand it, yes." She admitted. "But that's not who you are and it's all right. I knew what I was walking into and I don't want cheap flowers and chocolate boxes anyway. I want something real." Emma didn't idealize Scott and loved the man despite his flaws. She didn't want their relationship to turn into a lot of pretenses like his marriage had been. She would rather die than become Jean Grey two and, ironically, dying would make her just that. "I can always go to a spa for a massage, but the real you... I'd like to see that more often without having to read your mind even if he isn't what everyone expects from Mr. Perfect." She teased back, knowing the kind of things he thought and wished no one would ever know about him.
"Of course, Darling. The question is, can you really leave your job behind for an entire weekend?" Emma spoke slowly, her hands sliding down his chest in an inviting way. "If you take work with us I promise I'll book my own suite and spend the entire weekend shopping." She warned him in the same low sweet voice she had used before. It was a kind warning. If they were going to make that happen, she wouldn't be second after anything or anyone.

"I figured spending most of the time shopping was in the cards regardless...." Scott teased, as Emma's hands ran down his body. This sort of....attention...was nice. And different that what he was used to with Jean. Not that there's was anything wrong with his marriage...no wait, that's not true. If there wasn't he wouldn't be with Emma in the first place.
"And I can try to?" Scott said, raising an arm to touch the back of Emma's head, awkwardly attempting to return the favor. Not exactly an easy task, given their current positions, but again, he was trying. "Lord knows finding time for some peace and quiet with this lifestyle is easier said than done. But I wont bring my paperwork with me. I can at least do that much for you." he said, abandoning the idea of this awkward hug/massage thing he had going and instead going for an upside down kiss on her chin.
"And I wasn't questioning your abilities to plan a trip Emma. I was asking about the morals of doing so on such short notice. But again, us, Paris, Logan, Paperwork, I can live with that." He said with a smile.

Emma smiled. She was having fun and it was nice after a long, complicated day. "I was thinking of keeping you on bed all weekend, but if you insist, I could make an effort and allow you to take me shopping." Emma teased back, now slowly running her hands up and down his chest, rather absent-minded.
It was lucky for him that Emma wasn't listening in on his thoughts or the moment would have been completely ruined. Could he not stop thinking about her for even a day or two?
A soft chuckle was her response to his awkward half-hug. "How about you give it a heart-felt try tonight?" She suggested instead, her voice implying a lot more than just a massage. "This is ridiculous." Emma let him know. The good thing about her was that she spoke her mind and didn't bother with unnecessary tact as Jean did. She made things clear from the beginning.
"For me? Not that I'm not flattered, Scott dear, but what about you do it for yourself for once?" Emma suggested, her hands going back to work on his shoulders. "I can barely put a finger between all this tense muscles." Overworking one self to death wasn't a good thing, even from her high expectation point of view and she was decided to break some bad habits out of Scott, for his own good.
"Please!" Emma let out a little laugh. "Like I don't know your favorite part is not getting to spend two days alone with me but giving Logan as much paperwork as you can!" She teased leaning in to kiss his neck.
"I'll make the arrangements. You better make sure everything's sorted out here so we won't get desperate calls for help." She said standing straight again, wondering if she should let him work or stay there and let Logan figure out all that paperwork on his own.

"The whole time in the bedroom? Well that would limit the chances of us getting into trouble..." Scott joked, although with their luck, it was kind of true. "But I'm sure you'll find time to go shopping in between bouts of love making.
"And tonight? I dunno, I do have plans with the most beautiful women on the planet." Scott teased, smirking a bit. "Oh wait, that's you. And sure, we'll make it a date. A date where I shut off my phone, order take out, and don't leave the room until the next morning." he suggested, hoping that would appeal to Emma.
"And I'll.....email Kitty. Maybe Hank too. The two of them should be able to handle things should and when Logan takes a look at the paper work and tosses it into a garbage can."

Emma smiled. It was good to have a normal conversation after a long day. "Isn't that the whole point of taking a vacation?" She teased. "It's hard to say no when you put it like that." She knew Scott wasn't a big fan of going shopping and that offering to accompany her was probably a compromise, his very own way of showing love, even if it wasn't by being gooey... and thank goodness he wasn't sickeningly sweet, she thought.
One perfectly waxed eyebrow rose at Scott's statement, before his following explanation made a pleased, self-sufficient smile bloom in her face. "Sounds like a plan darling. I'll take care of ordering the food." She announced. If there was a chance he could ruin the night by choosing a cheap take out place, Emma wanted to make sure it didn't happen. They both deserved to have a good time and no one could have one when she was in a foul mood.
"Guess I'll see you later, then." Emma announced taking her hands off him before slowly walking to the door, stopping near it to turn around. "Hope you're in the mood for Japanese." She said projecting a mental image of her trying on the lingerie she had bought earlier that week, which loosely resembled Japanese clothes, except they were made with a lot less fabric. With that, Emma left the office feeling content. It wasn't a perfect life but it was good.

"I know better than to argue with you over dining options." Scott said, well aware of the wrath of a Emma scorn. "And Japanese is fine.." he started to say, before Emma projected her "gift" into his head.
"Apologizes in advance if I offer to eat sushi off your body. Especially if you wear THAT to the bedroom." He replied, slightly aroused. "And yes, I'm looking forward to tonight."
With Emma leaving him to his lonesome, Scott got back to work. Well if you considered ring off several emails to the rest of the staff, letting them know that he and Emma wouldn't be around this upcoming weekend, and that Kitty and Hank were in charge. Which meant paperwork for everyone.

"I'm so proud of you." Emma said sincerely, though it might make her sound like a shallow and self-centered person. She thought it was an improvement that he had learned to give in, relax and enjoy the good things of life considering she could afford them and, thus, it wasn't like he was spending all of Xavier's money on stuff that wasn't a necessity.
Emma chuckled. He was so clueless it was almost cute sometimes. "That's an original Seina Takasaki, Scott dear. If you put food anywhere near it, that mental image of me wearing the negligee is gonna be your only company in the long nights to come." She warned him. "Maybe we should have dessert first and then worry about dinner." That was her compromise. If she was already naked, playing with food with the high potential for stains only soy sauce had, wouldn't bother her as much. It could even be fun and maybe after that he'd even feel up to round two.
After leaving Scott's office, Emma got on the phone with her travel agent and her favorite exclusive sushi bar, offering them an insane amount of money to make a delivery to the mansion even though they didn't have a delivery service.
