Tony felt a bit relieved but it was clear that they were not out of the woods yet. As Kicker healed himself Tony only narrowed his eyes towards the naïve mutant as he tried to show how strong he was. Tony had been there and done this multiple times where heroes or villians had tried to show how they were in battle. It was like some sort of test where they thought they could best the older heroes or they thought their time was up. Tony hoped that wasn't the case here. He wanted to stay around for some time to watch the young heroes grow, learn and be molded into fine heroes.
"You need to not always go straight to assumptions kid. I've meat some great people out there that are mutants. Not everyone is bad like you think and how Magneto has taught you. You may have felt worse things in life but you can always climb out of that hole." Tony said as he looked back seeing that Kicker was ready for more. JARVIS detected the on coming blasts as Tony started his flight system again on his feet as he got out of the way as he looked back to see if Taylor could get out of the way but it was coming almost too fast to judge so Tony flew forward to save his young student. "Taylor look out!" He called out hoping that Taylor would dodge it in time. It was easy for Tony Jarvis had been able to give him the predicted co ordinates of where the beam was going to go and with the right movements he had gotten out of the way just in time. Tony was getting more and more tired of this mentally and physically.
"You want to play with heavy arsenal kid? I'll give it to you, how about another unibeam?" He asked as his arch reactor began to charge as the red ray was fired back towards Kicker. The beam was strong and powerful he hoped this would be it. His heart pounded in his chest as he heard Jarvis call out the warning sign that this had been a bad choice of weaponery to use. When the attack was over Tony collapsed to his knees in his suit but he looked up curious to see what happened to Kicker. Had he survived or even dodged his attack? "Taylor I hate to say it but I think I'm gonna pass out soon... Too much strength on my arch reactor...Jarvis is yelling at me to stop." Tony said back to Taylor showing concern in his voice. Jarvis had the strength level left in the Ironman suit and it was already below 10 percent. That unibeam took a heck of a lot of strength. "I might have to leave the rest of this fight up to you if I don't make consciously towards the end." Tony said looking back at him through his mask.
