With Vengeance (Firo)

"Oh so it IS Tony's fault then. He not only got your friend there mad but he also ran straight into me." Sam said with a chuckle as Tony rolled his eyes at the news. Wouldn't be the first time that someone got mad at him. Fury yelled at him on more times than he could count on his fingers for problems that hadn't been entirely his fault. At least he knew it wasn't after thinking it through. "I assume a simple 'I'm sorry.' won't cut it to your big furry friend then from earlier after blasting him with a repulsor ray either? I suppose I did deserve being beaten up by that monster friend of yours with him biting into my armor." Tony asked as he looked back at the two.

"Anyways this man here is Ironman, everyone knows that. And I am Nova...except who are you? We can't call you some bad name right?" Nova asked realizing that they were missing an important part. The introduction seemed fitting enough since everyone practically knew Tony from the Avengers. Nova was pretty famous but not as well known since he had been with SHIELD. Most of the SHIELD agents preferred to keep their identities hidden from the public. "Also we've got some bigger things to worry about. That one monster is racing through central park right now with its scaly hide." Tony said remembering it after nearly forgetting about it.

"Looks like you're right on that one. I'd like to have my body in one piece. I know I'll have some explaining to do to my girlfriend and also the other Avengers if they see me in the hospital any time soon." Ironman said with a sigh not exactly looking forward to another fight with the monster. It was true though, he'd probably get destroyed and then the monster would go after the remaining one. He already knew what that felt like when he had fought with the hulk on a couple times in the past. Though Tony did shutter at the thought of not enjoying listening to Yuki yell at him for getting injured. He had seen what kind of power his girlfriend had with her and the thought of what she could do was nothing to laugh at.

"And figures. A sorry never seems to fix anything these days." Tony said with a soft sigh.

"And making her mad is not fun." Ironman said knowing from experience. "Making any girlfriend mad is not fun." Nova added correcting him from his own experience.

"Anyways I can go after the monster and call in for SHIELD back up if things get out of hand. You two Ironman and Firo, look like you need to talk after what had happened back there." Sam suggested knowing that he probably needed some time to themselves. He did know that he was more than likely going to need SHIELD's help in this one. One agent alone wasn't going to stop a scaly monster running around New York easily.

"No kidding a simple photon blast looks like it's not going to work. I'm even surprised it did that much to knock you back into being normal again." Sam said knowing it was true. So with that the younger hero flew off towards the direction of the monster. It was clear that a wake of destruction had been met with him since there had been trees ripped out of the ground and the ground had been destroyed. It'd be easy to find the monster.

"And it's probably not going to be easy to make it up to you two. I'll at least think of something. I always have been able to do that though." Tony said as he looked back at Firo a tiny bit hopeful that this was true. The last thing he needed was to be hated by the Hulk on most of the occasions and then by a monster he didn't meet. The last thing he wanted was to find another monster in his own home which was supposed to be a paradise for the Avengers also. They already had one bad event with the Phoenix Force, didn't need another bad omen at all, nope not here.

"I see now. So I guess it's not all bad if you're fine with that. But if you do need some help with him I guess I could try to bring you back instead of the monster." Tony said knowing that magic too wasn't one of them either. He had a hard enough time understanding Doctor Strange. If anything Dr. Strange would probably beat him in a fight if one were to happen. Magic and machines didn't always mix. And when it was forced upon someone or something it usually resulted in a bad result.

"But still being on edge isn't normally a good thing. There just has to be some sort of reason why he's been on edge. Just doesn't come out of the blue." Tony said as he thought about it. he had some knowledge in that area after fighting so many monsters. you think he would know a lot on how to handle them but he didn't know everything. There were probably other heroes out there that knew more about monsters than he did.

"In New York City? No offense but I wouldn't exactly call this place vacation worthy place. That is if you haven't stepped in New York that I understand. Not to mention there are tons of people in this city as well." Tony said a bit surprised at what Firo had said. In his preferences he would have rather gone to a warm summery place being that they had such bad winters these past couple of years. come to think of it, that was probably something worth mentioning to Yuki if they ever got a chance to go on vacation where it was just the two of them. then of course some sort of bad danger usually happens while they're away. It's a hope that it won't happen of course.

"Well I have put up with the Hulk before on a couple of occasions." Tony said knowing he was at least lucky that he got out a live in it. That was the most important part. "I am sorry to hear that. about being stuck with the monster. Maybe one day you'll find a solution towards it." Tony said knowing that he had only found a temporary solution with his own health problems including the metal in his heart. He wasn't going to be surprised if that was the thing that killed him one day. But he hoped that wouldn't happen any time soon.

"Wow that does stink if you think about it." Tony said feeling sorry for him as he spoke about how he got caught into this mess. There wasn't really a whole lot he could do about it.

"Yeah most of the stories told about the Hulk are true. That just depends on who you're talking too you'll get a different kind of story though. Some call him a hero, others no so much." Tony said as he recalled his own encounters with the Hulk. He had viewed him as an actual hero on many occasions for saving so many lives. Many people out there thought differently. But he knew with his affiliation with the Avengers some of those thoughts were bound to change in the future with him. If they haven't already that is.

"Uh that's not an entirely a surprise. Not everyone can be a hero I guess. Or chooses to be one for that matter." Tony said as he looked back at Firo. He was starting to understand what this monster was now. He was nothing compared to the Hulk to when it came to sanity. He was different and didn't care about how many lives he had hurt. A true villain if he had to say something.

A loud roar could be heard as Tony stood back up after standing on the ground for some time as he spoke back to Firo. It seemed that even Sam was having a hard time containing the beast on his own as he got flung back but this time missed running into Tony as he fell to the ground. "OK Maybe I can't handle that guy on my own. I don't know why SHIELD's taking forever either." Sam said as he rubbed his back from where he had hit the ground and Tony noticed that his legs were shaking too. It was clear Sam was still wounded from when the two collided earlier.
