Hope had made the call to James shortly after what happened with Tony, knowing it had been a meeting long been awaited for. Yet, it was a meeting she was both nervous and excited about. For one, she had left so suddenly without saying a word to anyone, even to James who she secretly had been getting closer to. Second, she didn't know how he would act once they saw each other again so her mind was racing of what she would say to him the moment they would meet. Last of all, she just didn't know what happened to him during the freak accident when she lost control. Had she hurt James by accident? Would he forgive her like Logan said and like Tony had? Was he angry for leaving without even saying good bye?
So many questions raced through the red head's mind as she came to one of the coffee shops in New York, sitting outside in hopes she could talk to James alone. None of the Avengers were aware of their growing relationship, least not that she was aware of and she had taken a chance to call him when things had settled down at the X-men mansion. Now her heart was racing with each passing minute as she sat there, sipping her coffee and looking out for the familiar form of James, otherwise now known as Green Lantern as of recently with what happened back in Japan. But as she went to take another sip it was finally her green eyes caught his form through the crowds and she nervously set her drink down before she stood.
Though the moment James got even a few from her and Hope opened her mouth to speak, all words seemed to leave her. He was right there in front of her yet she couldn't get a single word out, in fact she had to force herself to say a single word, "James..."

James moved through the Crowd towards the Coffee shop he'd Left the Car in the Parking Lot as he moved through the crowd towards the Coffee shop that Hope had Asked to meet him at. He had to admit he had been a little surprised to get the Call from Hope that she had wanted to meet true he'd heard what had happend at the tower when she'd lost Control not that he Balmed her anyone could Lose Control of their Powers heck he'd once seen Coner Sneeze and Destory a Wall all that had really mattered was that no one had gotten hurt it had been an Accident. James would have gone with them when they'd Gone after Hope but he'd been Busy finishing things up in Japan the Lose of the Arc Reactor thanks to The Former Defence Secaratrys Actions had been a Pain in the ass a Lot of Repairs had been needed. Not to Mention the Talk with Shield and Fury about working for them but those thoughts were probaly best saved for Later.
He was Glad though Glad that Hope had decided to come back he had to admit the two had gotten close during their Time in Japan before Hope had Returned State Side to Join back up with the other Avengers maybe he should have finished up faster to have been around to help Hope out. He shook his head as he moved towards the Coffee shop and saw the Familar red headed Man and Smiled softly as he moved by people the Familer Green Ring on his finger though he wasn't tapping into it hence the lack of his Suit. Jeans a Shirt and a Jacket Were less Eye catching then a Dude in a Glowing Green suit. He smiled when she spoke before moving over to her hearing her say his name and gave her a little nod.
He focused on Hope gently Motioning to the Seat she'd left at the table and moved over. "Hey Hope been a while Come on let's Sit down make this funner"He chuckled softly as he took his seat and Faced Hope smiling softly at her as he looked at her.

Seeing his smile Hope couldn't help feeling relief immediately wash over her, having feared the worst of the situation. Really she probably was overreacting in the long run, letting her own worries and emotions getting the best of her at this moment when James was arriving. She really had to stop worrying so much otherwise she might as well call in for her own medical bed for so much stress on her body. "Yea, been a long while. Month or so." She said with a smile, finally able to find her words again before she took her seat once more across from the man and having become visibly more relaxed now. Of course, her attire was casual and certainly nothing eye catching. She was fine with wearing sneakers, a plain t-shirt, and faded blue jeans, these clothes were just fine for her at the moment.
Besides, there was no need for Reverie right now. "James I know you might usually be busy at this time but I'm glad you were able to come out here for a little while,"Hope told him honestly, looking towards James as if she was searching him but she had learned recently that he hadn't been at the tower that day she lost control. Deep down she was rather glad for that, James being one of the people she became concerned for the most alongside Francis who had pretty much become her best friend since she joined the Avengers and Coner. It was really wasn't odd though that she didn't have many girls as friends on the Avengers, she barely made many bonds with them thus far but regardless of this all the Avengers were important to her. Only thing was some were closer to her heart then others at this moment.
A soft sigh finally escaped her as the red head looked at the table, "James I want to also apologize for leaving without really saying anything, and to be honest I have no plans of returning to the Avengers." She said, deciding to get straight to the point having been known to being straight forward and blunt. "I'm afraid next time I won't just hurt you guys but...kill someone."

James smiled as he sat with Hope studying the Girl quickly one of the things that Hanging out with Widow and the Avengers that had Offical Training it helped with the whole learning to Study people quickly thing, Judging from Hope's body Laungae and judging by Hopes it was easy to see that the Girl was Nervous but he noticed it Subside when he smiled at her finding a sense of Relife that she was calmed a bit he didn't want her all Nervous and Jumpy. It was a lot funner talking with Hope when she was Relaxed not worrying what she might say and how someone might React he gave her a Soft smile when she Spoke more then one Word and Nodded."Ya Not since Japan I think well Since you left to Join back up with the others but still it's Nice to see you Hope"
James smiled and Leaned back a Little against the Seat placing his Order quickly when the Waitress asked and watched as she went before focusing on Hope and Smiling at her chuckling softly at her Words about him being busy and Shook his head softly."Actually I've had som Free time lately so it's all Good Hope ever Since I finished up in Japan been taking it Easy for a Little bit so you didn't pull me away from anything.' He smiled softly as he sat with the Redhead gently Watching her Green eyes as she watched him. He knew hat she probaly fealt bad about what had happend but he wanted to make her understand that even the Best of Heroes lost control and their were ones that had had to learn to control their Powers at every Waking Second and even they lost control sometimes.
James Frowned a Little at her Next words about not Returning to the Avengers and he had to admit this worried him he didn't want Hope Leaving just didn't sit right with him. He focused on the Red head in front of him and Shook his head softly chuckling softly. "Hope you should know better that we just won't let you go for something like that were your Friends and we Care about you Red Were not Scared that you'll lose control most of our Team have to Always becareful not just you Hell Remember the Time Hulk Sneezed Blew out Half the Windows on the Top Floor of the Tower. Or When Coner Went a Little to fast to Open the Fridge with out Focusing fully and Sent the Damn thing out the Window into the Pool two Blocks away? He chuckled softly and Smiled at her. "Hope you Don't have to worry about us Your Still getting use o your Powers and Doing it aound people that are use to Dodging the Occasional Gamma Enhanced Sneeze or Flying Fridge is Better then doing it around normal People."

"Well glad to hear that, and good to see you too."Hope said to him with a smile, leaning back in her seat slightly as she tried to relax a bit more. Though it definitely had been a while since they really got the chance to talk or meet when she thought about it, Japan really felt like forever ago and she had begun to miss those days. Her time with James had seemed so carefree and certainly had proved rather interesting, not only had they gotten close but she definitely had been curious about his project. As much as Hope had wished she could have stayed longer she knew she was needed there in the states so her time with James had been limited but it had definitely been eventful. So, to leave that at all made her begin to regret such a decision to leave.
It was then James began to speak up. "Yea, I suppose those times were funny." Hope tried not to smile, tried rather hard not to laugh as she thought about it. Yet, a smile showed on her lips and she finally chuckled, "Alright, alright you got me there James. Suppose we're lucky Hulk didn't blow out an entire wall or Coner lost the fridge entirely."She chuckled. Once again Hope couldn't help feeling maybe that she had allowed her emotions get the best of her and thought too much into what Jean had told her of. Despite her brief laugh there definitely still was some guilt for her decision before she sighed softly, "Guess I just have a lot to learn still James. After that incident I became afraid something like that happening again could end up being far worse but guess I read let it take over my emotions."She told him.
Leaning back in her chair slightly she crossed her arms a bit, thinking back of what she told Tony and Xavier just a little while ago. "Somehow though, I doubt you of all people would let me leave to begin with James."She smiled slightly then, "Of course, I wouldn't let you leave that easily either come to think of it."

James smiled softly as he sat with Hope thinking over what she'd Said he had to admit he didn't like the Idea of losing her she was Skilled and an Asset to the Team not to Mention the two had gotten Close during their Time in Japan. He Frowned softly before Recovering for now he had to Focus on getting her back on broad the whole Team Train he watched her studying her Red mane and Green eyes. He knew she'd been a Little Curios about Exactly what he'd been doing in Japan but their Really hadn't been time to Explain more then just Building an Arc Reactor. He smiled softly as he sipped his Coffee as he chatted with Hope smiling when she smiled as she Responded to his Words even though it seemed like she had been Trying very hard not to but had lost when she cracked a Small smile.
James Chuckled softly and Nodded. "Ya was probaly the first time we had to Hulk Sneeze proof the tower and True we Managed to get the Fridge back but pretty sure wasn't really a Point since it was Broken but hey at least we found it.He chuckled softly as he said this Focusing on Hope as she Spoke Listening to the Red headed Mutant and Smiled at her. "I'm pretty sure that all of us have things were Still learning Hope what's Important is that we never Give up" He smiled softy as he said this focusing on her as he set his Cup down resting against the Seat as he Talked with Hope.
He chuckled softly when she Mentioned that he Probaly wouldn't have let her Leave anyway and Stated that she'd not just let him go Either and Nodded a Little. "No Doubt i'm not letting you just Up and Leave Hope would be way to Boring with out you around that's for sure Plus i'd Miss you hell everyone would and I don't Plan on Just up and Leaving Hope so don't ever be Scared of that." He smiled at her as he said this gently sipping his Drink again.

"Well we got a new fridge at least, and sometimes I wonder if the tower is really Hulk proof."Hope said with a soft chuckle as she lifted her cup and took a few drinks, her previously uncertain attitude beginning to wane. Talking about some good times was definitely helping and certainly had the red head thinking deeply about this further. Besides, if James didn't try convincing her she knew a certain few others who might especially a blond headed archer who she had been through some tough times together with since she had been with the Avengers. The mission to pursue the past certainly was an excellent example and she almost missed those crazy adventures.
Though this did make her think of the first time she really met Francis. "You know, also makes me remember one training session I had with Francis. Poor archer ended up in the pond on the roof, accidently cornered him and sent him falling into the water." She chuckled as she thought about it and rubbed the back of her neck. Finally though she smiled, "Alright I'll try returning again James, it's kinda hard to leave without thinking of the good times. Though we may now have to make the tower firebird proof." Hope said sheepishly, trying to make a joke out of the whole thing.
