It had been a few months now since the broad cast and Alhora had decided to show herself yet again in downtown. News spread like wildfires that there was a certain Avenger that had fallen a few days ago because of Exodus. Ironman was probably nothing more than an ant to Exodus on how he managed to beat him so easily. Would the rest of the Avengers be so easy like Tony? She wouldn't be entirely surprised if that was the answer. As the saying went, it was best to divide and conquer, and with that the Avengers would likely disappear. For now, Alhora decided to bide her time in the usual area that she was known for. The young woman was busy trying to do her job as a bar clerk as she watched for news with the recent heroes. She was undercover so to speak and this was a fake job.
One man came out to where the bar was as it seemed to be a decent night where they were enjoying their time together at the bar. More than half of them were drunk she was sure of it by now. But the nigh was young and they still had a long way to go before anyone decided to head home and have a massive headache there for a couple of days. "I'll have what they're having." He said as he pointed to the girls over at the one table as Alhora merely rolled her eyes at the sight. If he was flirting with her it wasn't gong to work. It'd never work. But none the ess she went to go get the drink that he wanted. She disappeared to go get a glass and returned with it before pouring in the same liquid drink that the girls had. She then saw the man slap down the amount of money that had been meant for the drink. It wasn't a pricy one so none of those normal commoners could have ever hoped to get their hands on it. So with that she took the money and placed it in one of the cash registers that was in another room. She could still hear them laughing and screaming like they were having a good old time.
However she stopped as she heard someone scream as someone threw a punch at another guy who had started a fight. Who ever was the true starter of the fight had it had to stop before it got worse as Alhora came out once again. She would not get caught by the police tonight as that'd expose everything in one evening. "Enough!" She said as she blocked one man's punch and hen hit him in the spine where she numbed a nerve and fell almost instantly to the ground. "Don't worry he'll wake up. He's just unconscious. I just don't want anyone to ruin this night because of some stupid fight or you'll get kicked out for the rest of your life. Understand?" She asked as she turned back to her place behind the bar. She seemed to have several stunned looks but no one seemed to make a move as she didn't care.

Ateyo wasn't really the type to be big in going to bars and usually didn't stay long in the Red Light District. Tonight though he had lingered there since his "hunger" had gotten a hold of him, the month having gone by since his last hunting. So, he had taken down the first guy he could come across who had been up to really no good and was a common occurrence in this side of New York. Luckily, he had been in a coherent state of mind to pick his victim rather then acting like a mindless, primitive animal attacking at random. It had happened quite a bit when he ignored that need for blood due to his vampire heritage so he often ended up having to be more careful as he got older and gradual better at managing his more primitive desires.
Still though, finding that equilibrium wasn't easy and this night was a lucky one that he could still act on his more heroic career and not on natural instinct alone. But a drink seemed just what he needed after that. Sighing, the hybrid man came into the bar in which Alhora worked in, wearing a dark set of shades in which hid his still red eyes. It took time for them to return to their normal hazel coloration so he used the shades to hide his eyes whenever he went into a public place. Though, it seemed at that moment Ateyo had come in just after a fight had ended, making him shake his head. The two men stank heavily of alcohol, making him crinkle his nose slightly as he merely headed to the bar as Alhora went around to the back and he sat on one of the seats.
"You'd think in a world like this by now it shouldn't be much of a surprise someone knows how to knock a person out by a simple striking of the right nerve." Ateyo commented softly, taking one last glance at the unconscious man who was being helped by his pals before he looked at Alhora. "Bottle of straight vodka if you please miss."

"Well where I came on I lived on the streets long ago. You had to fight practically in order to survive. In a bar it's almost the same. One idiot decides to be the tough guy and it goes down hill from there." Alhora said though not entirely telling the truth. Her mother Mystique had taught her a lot of things while growing up and it was how to fight. She helped perfect her skills as a martial artist.
Alhora nodded back to Ateyo eying him before she left to go get a cup in the back room before coming back to make his drink right in front of him. Once she was done she slid it towards him so he could catch it easily. "Since you were so nice for a change I'll make it so you only have to pay half of the cost this time. 20 dollars for that drink." She said hoping that was at least fair since he didn't stink of alcohol like some of these men did. That way she at least knew he had a mind still and wasn't drunk yet.
"I haven't seen you around here much. I know a lot of the members here at the bar who come frequently. The name's Alhora." She said giving her full name but she knew if she gave anymore of it he'd probably recognize that something wasn't right. But was he even aware that she was the daughter of Mystique? She didn't know until the truth was revealed slowly to him, or perhaps he didn't know anything at all.

"Idiots will be idiots, if they can't hold their alcohol they end up like that." Ateyo said, nodding towards the unconscious man but paused to let Alhora get the cup before she came back. "And honestly, traveling is really no different ma'am. You learn to defend yourself and always be aware, otherwise you might as well be hoping for a miracle." He told her with a shrug as he held out his hand and caught the cup in it quite easily. Her words though made him raised an eye brow, wondering if she might have him mixed up with someone else or was just being cautious of him being exactly like the men just now.
Pulling out a twenty dollar bill the young man rested it on the counter for Alhora, "Quite a fair price for such a usually expensive drink, though I think you might have me mixed up with those men." He said to her as he began taking a sip of his glass while listening to her further. Setting down his glass he carefully pushed his dark shades up a bit so they stayed situated on the bridge of his nose before he spoke. "Suppose it's nice to meet you Alhora, my name is Ateyo Morris. And it wouldn't surprise me if you haven't seen me here much. Honestly, I'm not much of a drinker, rarely actually do I consider it." He introduced himself. So her not really seeing him around didn't surprise the hybrid much, he wasn't much of a bar man and never usually stayed very long to begin with. He only drank when it seemed he needed it and tonight Ateyo did.
As he took a brief look around the club Ateyo took a long swig of his drink before once again he spoke, "Though you could say I don't get drunk quite that easily. I have a...high tolerance for alcohol." He said, choosing his words carefully as his gaze met Alhora's but the name at the moment didn't strike a bell of anything. "I can assure you, Alhora, you will not get any trouble from me."

"You can say that again." Alhora agree as she looked back at Ateyo in agreement as the man was dragged away by two of his friends. She doubted that he'd remember it the next day at the rate he was going in. First drunk, then heavy headache and as well as memory loss for later. Was it really all worth it? Well Alhora had to put up with that nearly every day. She shrugged when he mentioned that it had been an expensive drink, "You seem different compared to most of these men. Trust me I'd know. I do this practically every da." She said as she listene to him and he introduced himself next. "Well it's nice to meet you Ateyo are you from these parts or just passing through? We have all kinds of interesting people around here." She explained to him seeing that everyone else wasn't so interested in the bar at the moment. Now she had a bit of free time to talk to this young man. Maybe he wasn't as bad as she thought he was.
"Well you're certainly not alone in that area. It seems to be something we both have in common with compared to these men. "Very well I trust you this time." she said with a soft smile. However it quickly fade as a group of men came into the bar and they didn't exactly look like they were interested in buying drinks. "So you're the little lady that knocked out our friend? Let's see how you do to four of us." The goons said as they cracked their knuckles. "Please I could beat you with my hands tied behind my back. Get out of my bar before I send you boys to the hospital." Alhora said but as she said it she realized she should have kept her mouth shut as one of the men sent an energy blast towards her direction knocking her against the glass wall nearby, her human form started to fade as her blue mutant form began to make its appearance.
Her body was covered with cuts and bruises from where the glass and wood had cut her heavily. And it looked like her breath had been knocked out of her as she tried to get up and move. "She's a mutant just as I figured. So tell me who you really are girly?" They asked as some of the bar members started to run in terror after realizing who they were dealing with. "They call me Malice." She said with a glare back to them. "And for a reason too." She said taking out what looked like a large gun rifle.

"Well considering I can handle my alcohol I don't think that'll be happening any time soon, and you could say it takes a lot to get under my skin." Ateyo said as he was drinking his vodka, knowing it took a bit to get him angry. Of course, that's when he wasn't in his primitive, blood thirsty state of ignoring that hunger due to his vampiric heritage. It was one side he wanted no one to really ever see or face, especially someone he cared for so it was quite rare for him to get angry like the rest. "No actually, I'm originally form London. I've lived here for a few years and just happened to come to the Red Light District tonight by chance, but felt like a drink seemed...fitting for right now." He said, once again choosing his words carefully until all hell seemed to break loose.
Some of the men had returned and in no time had Alhora quickly down for the count, causing Ateyo to stand immediately. But when he heard her name his head snapped towards her direction where for the first time in person he got a look at her, the true form of Alhora truly did resemble her mother and he recalled seeing her on the news report a long while ago involving Magneto's return. "Now that name rings a bell, shame it has to be that way." He said with a shake of his head before he turned to the men, two of which took a step forward towards Alhora but he gave a rather feral growl, one that made the men freeze in their tracks since no real human should have sounded like some feral beast. "Unfortunately, you gentlemen acting like idiots doesn't exactly help much of a situation." Ateyo tossed his shades aside to reveal his eyes, now slightly a more faded crimson into his hazel green eyes as he moved forward swiftly despite his bulk and punching both men out cold.
Both men went down quick, Ateyo well aware he had the strength to break their bones if he wanted to but he wasn't going to kill again. He had already taken the life of two men earlier, that should have been enough. "Alhora if your going to save your bar, now would be a good time to get up. If you can."

"You shouldn't worry about me Ateyo. I heal pretty quickly." Alhora said as she started to stand as her blue form appeared in front of the others. Her hair though seemed shorter than her mother's as she liked it that way. There weren't very many differences between her and her mom she was like the spitting image. Alhora looked back towards the two men as they seemed ready for a fight, "Try not to break anything boys. This is my bar and I'm not letting you get away with it that easily." she said as one of the men charged her but she quickly prepared herself as she threw a sharp kick to the stomach on top of that it wouldn't have felt very good at all since she was wearing sharp pointed shoes. At this point she didn't care if Ateyo joined in or not this was her fight it seemed but he got caught in the middle of it without really doing much.
The kick landed perfectly as she knocked the heavy man back into one of the nearby tables whee someone was still sitting They just barely got out of the way before being plowed by some large man in order to save their beer. It was clear some didn't care that a fight was breaking out in the middle of a bar nor that Alhora had revealed her true form. It was clear that most of the member sin the bar were still drunk as heck. And kicking them or even punching them wouldn't help with remembering what would happen the next day when they woke up with a severe hangover. Alhora would only make things worse.
"Well you can come in and join me if you want Ateyo. Plus I am a bit curious to see what other powers you have." She said with a soft smile towards him as her yellow eyes fell back towards him for a second. There was also a large amount of a cunning look in them. She knew she was not going to show him entire kindness tonight, it was just not the brotherhood to do that. Well Magneto wasn't around so it could be their little secret. She did turn back towards the remaining men making sure that her own guard could not be put down so easily again. She was going to give them no mercy.

"Well if your so curious to know outright Alhora, I'll give you a hint I didn't exactly stop in the Red Light District just by chance I have a craving for blood and I think you know humans aren't exactly supposed to growl like a feral beast. And I'm not a mutant like you." Ateyo said, basically giving away some hints that could probably tell her exactly what he was but if she didn't get it completely he'd gladly just tell her outright. Though right now it seemed she could use another hand considering there still were quite a few men still waiting to attack her.
Cracking his knuckles he nodded, "I'd be much obliged to help, enemy as you are think right now we can set that aside for a common enemy." He said casually, moving with surprising agility as two other men came at him, easily dodging around their strikes and quickly striking at their joints before grappling one to the floor and punching out the knee joint of the other man as he stood from being knocking over in the struggle. A howl of pain escaped the man but he once again attempted to stand once Ateyo had elbowed his friend to knock him out as well and stood back on his feet. Shaking his head Ateyo brought his hand back before punching the man hard enough he went flying across the room and into a brick wall, leaving an indention of his body in the wall with small pieces of the brick crumbling from it.
Rubbing his fist slightly Ateyo shook his head, "That was a little too easy. These guys are hardly a challenge but guess they're too drunk to really give up." He said.

Alhora was listening but also fighting at the same time as she was being a great mulitasker in this ability. She managed to dodge one fist and then came around with a round house kick knocking him in the back where a part of his spine was. The man doubled over in pain but she wasn't done with him yet as she came down with another sharp kick came down his way with her other for. "So you're a vampire. I've heard of the ones that follow Dracula in his ways. I don't think Magneto would exactly want a team up with them at least. I'm pretty sure you're aware of what I can do. Shape shifting is an ability that is very hard to use." Alhora said as the man started to stand as she looked back at him for a second with her yellow eyes. It wasn't long before she punched him in the shoulder but while he was down she pulled the trigger and fired. It was hardly a fight for the other man, but Alhora was not exactly in the mood for something like a bar fight. As the brotherhood were they were very relentless, it was clear that they did not care for lives that easily.
The man yelled in pain as she did not aim for the heart but instead for the shoulder where his arm bleed heavily as he fell to the ground as he nursed his wound. "Next one is going for your heart." She threatened again as she cocked her gun one last time. However as she prepared to aim it at the fallen man one of his comrades noticed that he was down as she saw him coming. However instead of punching him or using a powerful weapon she transformed into a mutant that was far well known on the Brotherhood. "Here's round two, creep." She said with a grin on her face. She had swapped places with a male mutant known to be Sabertooth as she unsheathed his claws as he began to prowl down towards the man who came forward. Sheer fear was on his face as she lunged at him with claws wide open ready to slash at the man's torso. By the end of this fight blood would no doubt be spilled across the bar. Resulting in her being fired, but she'd rather be still alive by the evening.
Once the second man was down it was clear that she had enough of this fight as his body was heavily slashed. It'd be enough for him to run out of the bar in order to save his own life. She turned back towards Ateyo as she shape shifted back to her blue form. "You're not bad yourself to coming to beating up a few bad guys every once in awhile. Too bad it looks like I'm fired for my job though for not keeping the peace. I'll just have to go back to being what I normally do with the Brotherhood." She said with a shrug not really at all frightened at what was going to happen. She flicked some of her red hair out of her face so she could see easily and gave Ateyo a faint smile on her face.
