Sam had woken up that morning and had expected it to be nothing but a normal day at SHIELD. However when he woke up things were different and he couldn't even see his hand in front of him. All he saw was darkness, though this time he did not near as panic as much the last time it had happened, the doctor said when he was younger it had been something that would only be temporary. Being blind was no fun even if it was temporary so he did understand how the others were when it came to total blindness. Once he told another shield agent that was living near his quarters he was sent to the medical area obviously giving the same problem that was on. "That's not much of a surprise. Luckily I sort of know my way around most of the hellicarrier." Sam said as the doctor was finishing up his exam with the young agent's eyes.
He took off his helmet as he began to go search for one person he knew he could trust on the hellicarrier, but they had her locked away. It was clear that they didn't trust her. He didn't care at this point as he began to head towards the brig where Angel was being held. He opened the door hearing a lot of the held members yelling and chastising him but he ignored them. Most of them couldn't get him as Sam was without his powers temporarily with his helmet off. And he was also vulnerable if they did decide to attack him. He walked to the cell that held Angel, after counting the number of cells that he went past, finally he found hers and he wondered if she wanted to talk. "Angel can I talk to you for a bit? It's me Nova, ...Er Sam I guess you can call me now since I don't have my superhero status on." Sam said as he paused to think of what else to say. "I was speaking with SHIELD earlier and I convinced them that they'd let you out on the hellicarrier. Well I wanted you to be my guide, I woke up this morning no able to see. I-I can't even see your cell or where your stand or sitting." Sam said as he rubbed his short black hair a bit nervous. He had a funny feeling that she'd be saying no. After all the two barely knew each other. It was bound to happen right?
Maybe this offering of kindness of letting Angel out would be able to convince SHIELD that she wasn't so bad. She hadn't even attacked Sam in the beginning and he felt his heart pounding in his chest. Did he think of her more than just a person that helped him on the way? Was she a friend maybe? He hadn't felt this nervous around someone in a long time, his superhero job hadn't really given him a chance to have a girlfriend plus he probably wasn't the greatest boyfriend either sine he'd always have to ditch them at the last minute in order to be a hero. "Of course I understand if you don't want to be that person. I just can't be a superhero for awhile is all until my sight is back." Sam said as he felt his helmet a bit and remembered where the four pointed red star that was on it. He still found it hard to believe that this helmet was once his father's so long ago and then he inherited it. he probably wasn't even half the superhero his father was. That was only making him feel worse at this point. His father had traveled the world, traveled to other galaxies while he was just a SHIELD agent.

Angel had not done much when she was locked away in this room. They took away everything she had.. She sat on her bed staring at the wall. She had been questioned for hours about what happened all those years ago back at her parents book store.. But did would not say.. As she feared what SHEILD would make her do with her magic... If only she had paper she would write up some of the hero's she had made up and they would be able to get her out of here.. But it was not meant to be.. Though there was one person that had been kind to her while she was here.. Sam the boy she had helped and well thanks to that SHEILD was able to find her.. But she did not regret helping him. If she could do everything over and knew the outcome she still would have helped him..
Just then Angel heard the door open but did not look at first thinking it was someone coming just to yell at her or take her somewhere. But then she heard Sam's voice. Angel's eyes grew wide as she turned her head to look at him and listened as he spoke. It seemed thanks to his powers he had become blinded and was now asking if she could be his guide. And thought it was sweet he was able to get SHEILD to let her do that if she wanted. Angel then smiled as she stood up and walked over to Sam taking him by the hand. " I would be happy to Sam.. Though I don't know my way around this place... And thank you for giving me a chance." Angel said softly not angry with Sam at all.

"I can give you a grand tour of the place if you want. Well sort of any ways. I've lived here for several years and know the place in side and out." Sam said as he gave a soft smile when he heard Angel's footsteps come out as she held onto his hand. It was a shame that his powers didn't exactly want to co operate at this time as it left him temporarily blinded otherwise he might have enjoyed this moment more with her. Well she'd be his eyes for now as they'd have to figure out what to do in the time being and get off the rust bucket for a bit if they could. The hellicarrier might not let that happen but with him being around her a lot he could at least report that Angel has been gone.
"Or if that doesn't suit you I heard that there are several attractions going on in some of the piers at New York. I heard that there was a carnival in town and this may be an opportunity for us to go...if you want too that is." Sam said knowing that this point he was pretty much off the job at this point. He couldn't see anymore and all they could do is wait. Though it was up to Angel if she wanted to go and have some fun instead of being stuck up on the hellicarrier all day."I think we could get by since I'm not really technically working easily with a request if

Angel listened as Sam spoke, saying even though he was blind he could still get around due to knowing this place rather well. So she had ro wonder a little why he needed her to help to get around. But she kept those thoughts to herself. Though walking around this place was not her idea if fun.. as everyone gave her untrusting glances and stares.. Sam seemed to the only one to trust her, she did after all helped him. But she blinked when he suggested they could go outside.. But that would also put Sam in danger seeing he was now blind and unable to to use his powers.. But then idea came to Angel. She would not be able hid her powers forever.. And she really did not want to walk around this ship.. " Going outside sounds great... Though there is risk to you.. I.. I need some paper and a pen.. Is there a way I can get some?" Angel asked in a soft tone.

Sam knew the place well because he had been there since he was a young teenager and now he was 21. That was roughly 10 years of spending his time on the Hellicarrier and while he was bored he would often explore the place to see what there was to see in the huge machine. He new his way around but he also couldn't admit right away that being around Angel he liked her company. Even though she was considered a captive he hoped that sooner or later they could let her out, she didn't seem so bad and was hardly a danger so far from most of the other villains that he had come to know like Doctor Doom. "Yes it's nice to get some fresh air when you're stuck inside this flying box all day. And as for the paper and pencil I can ask one of the other agents to come and get you some." Sam said as he quickly turned back hearing some footsteps. "Excuse me, do you mind getting a note book and a pen for my friend here?" He asked and the agent nodded as he quickly went off to one of the offices and a short time later returned with the things that he had asked for. Sam couldn't exactly see them but when the agent handed them over he was assured as he felt them in his hands. "Thank you." He said as he handed them over to where he remembered hearing Angel's voice showing that she had asked for them.
A bit of curiosity came to Sam wondering what the paper was for as he had not known the extent of Angel's powers. "So what is the paper and pencil for at this point, if you don't mind me asking?" He asked Angel. He had obviously already revealed to Angel that he could fly when they first met. He didn't know of or understand her powers as of current.
