For the past week or so Barney's wounds from Hyacinth's training session from earlier had been bothering him ever since but the wounds finally healed as he was able to walk upright and stand without feeling any pain on each side. For now he felt pretty much normal as the burnt areas on his skin were pretty much healed up. he still had to be careful to make sure that the wounds wouldn't re open. As for their relationship he was at least glad they weren't treading on broken ice this time and she wouldn't hiss at me. Pretty much he went his own way and on occasions saw Hyacinth but the two hadn't really reacted like they had that night. He wondered now if it had only been that one time where Hyacinth was actually like herself for a change. 'Forget it Barney you're wasting your time with her.' He said still trying to decide if she wanted to ask her out and realized it was probably not worth it. 'Besides Clint made things look sooo easy when it came to dating. It was like he always got the girls. Who wants someone like me?' he said with a sigh as he looked in the main room seeing that no one else was awake yet for the day. The Dark Avengers seemed to be doing their own thing.
For now he decided to watch the news news as he heard something about Tony Stark being missed and out of office as the Avengers surely would take notice on that one. Not that he cared. "Blah blah to the Avengers. It's about time someone did something like this. They're down a team member who they heavily need and they go home crying to their moms." Barney said rolling his eyes as he turned onto the next news cast as he realized that another news station was on it. Except this one was another story as it revealed a part of his past as he recognized the headlines. "You guys? I thought they disbanded?" Barney said as the title read "Circus of Crime." A group of villains that Barney and Clint had both been a part of while they were in the circus. Last he heard they were in the Southern parts where he was from, but it looks like they got a bit too close to where his home was in New York. Dropping the remote he went to go grab his things as he went to his room picking up his arrows, bow and as well as his arrow case as he looked back seeing where Hyacinth's room was. "Hyacinth you in there? I need to go pay some friends a visit and I was wondering if you wanted to come and cause some chaos?" Barney asked as he knocked on her door knowing she probably need her space. He had seen her in and out at the time but never really got a chance to bond like the other time on the roof. In fact he remembered the kiss that she had given him even if it was fake he still kind of enjoyed it. He hadn't exactly been a part of any relationship no one had cared about him like that before because he was so bad at getting girls and Clint made it easy to do while he could barely get a sentence out. For now all Barney could do was wait for Hyacinth's answer. If she didn't want to go he'd pay them a visit on his own. But was it safe?

Hyacinth too had been recovering since a few days ago when she had sparred with Barney on the roof. But since then she had been trying to wrap her mind around the kiss that had happened between them, one that had mostly been an accident on her part but at the same time felt nice. And the only way that helped to get her mind clear though was a patrol or terrorizing some humans, leading her to be in and out of the Dark Avengers base for a few days now. She had seen Barney a few times but often missed him or was already on her way elsewhere. Not to mention she didn't know if this meant things would change now since then as she was still not use to these new feelings she was getting when she had started falling for Barney. Of course, she had briefly been angry with him but that had passed and now she was just trying to get her thoughts in order again.
Today though much of her time was spent in the training room since she had recently recovered enough again to start training there rather then the roof, not needing to work on movement exercises like she had. She had just finished in fact when she was stepping out of the elevator and heard Barney calling her name, making her shake her head and have to remind him he didn't need to be so loud. "Barney, I have superhuman hearing, you don't need to be so loud." She chuckled as she came down the hall, swaying her tail slightly and carrying what seemed to be a spear. She stopped beside him then and opened her door, "Now just give me a quick second." She said to him with a smile before she came inside and moved over to rest her spear, which was a more modern all metal one on a wrack above to other kinds of speaks before moving to another weapon wrack, which she had at least two that took up two different walls. Grabbing her favored weapon, being her pair of tonfas, she twisted them and slid them into loops on her belt so they were safely secured before she moved back out to the hall.
Thinking for a moment Hyacinth blushed a little beneath her fur and decided she might as well stop thinking about the whole roof situation and kissed Barney one the lips again, genuinely this time. It was for a moment before she leaned away, "And yes I'll go with you, but thought I should get that out of the way since it's been bothering us so much I'd figure. Least you know it's a genuine thing and not an accident." Though it was obvious Hyacinth was a little shy and awkward still with this whole new situation, merely smiling meekly before she quickly headed to the elevator.

“I’m sorry Hyacinth I’ll remember it next time. I have to admit, trying to figure out everyone’s powers can be pretty hard to do sometimes.” Barney said as he admitted it that he sometimes got confused on who had what. Of course some of them were pretty easy or obvious to remember. He was probably the one human on the team who didn’t have any powers. Not that he wanted any, they seemed too complicated and on occasions took far too long to master before becoming an expert. He was fine with just his bows and arrows for now. As they completed most of his feats tasks for him, and he knew how to defend himself pretty well as he showed Hyacinth with the training on the roof. He saw that she had come from the elevator and knew that she had likely been on one of the higher parts of the base. This wasn’t like Tony Stark’s building on having 90+ floors to do whatever you wanted, they were lucky if they just had five.
However the next part surprised him as he wasn’t expecting it at all. When she came over to him he closed his eyes as he realized how close she had gotten and came over to kiss him on the cheek. He was stunned as he felt his jaw drop. “I-I was not expecting that one.” He said as he tried to snap himself out of the surprised kiss once more. Though he wondered what he had thought about earlier on being hard for the girls. Did Hyacinth really like him? And was he being too hard on himself? “Hyacinth that kiss really did surprise me. And I have to admit I was a bit jealous of my brother he always got the girls easily and I’d never understand how he managed to do it. I just never thought I had it in me to find someone. Maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough?” he asked as he put a hand on her shoulder feeling her warm fur against his skin. He obviously knew that their attitude towards each other had gotten better and they’d likely remain as friends for some time. He’d have to be patient if he wanted to ask Hyacinth to be a girlfriend. Well he had all the time in the world for that.
“But the reason why I came to talk to you this time was it’s something that happened on the news. It seems my past has come back a little too close to knocking for comfort. A circus has been set up in Central Park that I know a bit too well and I was wondering if you wanted to come along to give them the welcome mat?” Barney said as he took out one of his explosive arrows to show Hyacinth what he meant in it by the weapon. He wasn’t interested in any reunion sop stories. He was more actually interested in blowing the place up to show that they were not welcomed here on his new home area. Barney had not exactly been a fan of the circus that he lived in with his brother since they joined and it was clear of that. He wanted to cause a bit of terror for them. He wasn’t sure if Hyacinth wanted to join in though.

"Well if you ever keep forgetting I'll gladly remind you," Hyacinth chuckled slightly, knowing she could remember her teammates quite easily. Despite the fact she was not particularly close to the others except Barney that didn't mean she was clueless to what they could do and to be certain she could be of use with their skills and her own when needed. Even a warrior like her needed back up once in a while, that was perhaps one thing her parents ever made an exception to that and taught her this. Still, she much preferred to fight alone but she might even make more of an exception with how close her and Barney were becoming and it seemed she could be wrong about him after all.
A smile came to her face as they waited for the elevator, having not been so sure herself of giving him the kiss but it seemed to be the one thing to clear any doubt he might of had. "Trust me I wasn't even sure I should have done that right there Barney but with the possible doubt whirling around I thought it might clear the air a little." She said, glancing at him when he spoke of being jealous of his brother. "Well for me Barney, I'm glad your not your brother because he seems too heroic for my taste. You on the other hand aren't like that so I think your right up my alley," She assured him, resting a hand on his shoulder slightly to enforce this assurance. She had seen some news reports about Barney's brother Clinton and she wasn't impressed, not even to the point of ever considering him a possible mate when it came to her culture. No, the archer beside her seemed more then enough and perhaps one day if things played right between them their relationship might slowly get stronger.
Glancing at the elevator as it opened she stepped inside with the archer and listened, "Sounds like a plan to me. They seem to be trekking on our turf so it's only reasonable to chase them out." She said before looking at him. "Though explain to me, what exactly is the purpose of a circus?" She asked, not quite familiar with it herself since they never had that where she was from.

Barney couldn't help but chuckle, "Sometimes my brother just doesn't know when to stop being...well him. He thinks he's funny, and he thinks he always gets things easily." Barney said shaking his head towards those thoughts having very few memories where the brothers actually bonded. Once Clint got into the archery business there was no looking back after that one. It was like the other brother was obsessed with it while Barney at firs had not wanted to do anything with the sport but things eventually changed for him as he thought about it. "But I'm glad that you'd pick me over him any day." Barney said with a soft nod as he looked back at Hyacinth as she spoke up. Though one thing that did surprise him was when she asked him about a circus. He recalled of course that she was not from Earth so it was likely that she had not seen one before.
"Oh yeah you've never heard or seen of one right? Well a circus is a form of entertainment like the television that we have upstairs. A lot of them now a days are mostly performers with humans as the animal part has become less and less popular. Basically these humans are performers who can do almost near impossible stunts and to most of the human eyes it is impossible. It's where my brother and I learned the ropes of most circuses and were also taught how to use our archery skills. My name even comes from the one that taught us archery as he had been the first at the circus to perform those skills. It was trickshot, but he had an accomplish named Swordsman. Trickshot's been dead for years but I'm not surprised if Swordsman is still around." Barney said as he hoped that was enough for Hyacinth to explain what was going on in a circus. If she really wanted to see they'd hang around a bit before causing some terror in the eyes of the humans and as well as the performers to show her what it's like. Barney however wasn't exactly looking forward to such bad memories since he always had the worst jobs on the show like cleaning up the elephant dung...
"I don't exactly have the greatest of memories of that place so you must forgive me. They gave me some of the worst jobs you can imagine there. I knew it was time to ditch that place when I had the chance." Barney said knowing it was true that it was time to leave for sure. He hated that place from the beginning and the only reason why they stayed was that it gave them some short amount of cash to live off of and it'd keep the orphaned boys out of the hands of the authorities as neither one of them wanted to become an orphan and live in one of those homes as they were likely not able to get a family that'd take two boys who were both stubborn.

"Well I'd rather a Dark Avenger who isn't such a heroic airhead like your brother Barney, so I think that choice was rather obvious from the beginning." Hyacinth told him as she looked at him. She hadn't been impressed with the younger of the Barton brothers and even his son seemed like he was no different from his father, so her choice was pretty obvious. And it was obvious she was a hard woman to impress or even gain trust with and Barney managed that much, compared to most she rarely trusted anyone but so far this archer had proven to be rather trustworthy.
Listening to his explanation Hyacinth found it interesting how much different forms of entertainment Earth had and just what humans could do. But this certainly explained where Barney got his own skills, likely not in archery but his movements as well and as he spoke of it the circus seemed quite the place she'd excel in and attract customers. But she wouldn't resort to something like that of course. "I think I could put half those people to shame my dear archer, acrobatics is what I do best. Heck, I could easily make contortionists look like amateurs thanks to my physiology. After all cats are quick and flexible, which makes my people quite a challenge to fight as you learned the other day." She said with quite a bit of pride. She had confidence in her skills and knew she could easily beat or be equal footing to an Olympic athlete as they were called there. Although, if the Shi'ar empire had something like a circus she never had seen it which came from the fact she had left long before she could know much about a real civilization other then her tribal life.
"Don't worry about Barney, I know how you feel about bad memories. Sometimes it's better to take it out and release that than keep it bottled up." Hyacinth said with assurance, knowing it had to be difficult to hear something like that when it came to your past.

He was at least glad he gained her trust; Barney didn’t exactly have a ton of friends. And the previous Dark Avenger members weren’t exactly members that you’d call friends. They were scary looking and they’d be an odd pair to be around if humans were hanging out with them. The one that looked most human like was probably Norman or Daken but he wasn’t exactly in the mood to go chase down either one of those former villains. He had no idea what happened to Daken, who was posing as Wolverine at the time but he was guessing that Osborn was either dead or in his old age. The other part that he didn’t care about was what his younger brother could be up to. He was sure Hawkeye was doing something for SHIELD or the Avengers but it was usually nothing bad. Why couldn’t Hawkeye gone down the path of evil like he had started doing? He’d never understand why his brother changed so suddenly when he saw Ironman flash his fancy suit around. “Believe it or not my brother was once a villain at first when it came to his career as an archer. But it was Ironman who convinced him to change to be a super hero after some time. If he stayed on the path of the villains’ things could have changed between us. But it’s clear it’s not going to happen any time soon.” Barney said and shook his head.
Barney could tell that Hyacinth was filled with pride when she spoke up about her acrobatic techniques and he got a firsthand taste of what Hyacinth could do in their training session. Barney hadn’t shown her everything just yet when it came to his own abilities in being an acrobatic after learning from some of the best there were in that field. The original Trickshot had been dead as he was the one who killed and bested him in a fight but his brother was the one that he always managed to tie with no matter what the cause was. He hoped one day that he could best his brother over his favorite sport and show that he was the superior one, one day. “You could be the star of the show easily, Hyacinth from what I’ve seen. It’s a bit unfair towards us humans who don’t stand a chance.” Barney said with a slight tease to what he had said earlier. But there was also something else there in his voice as he seemed to be flirting with the young feline like woman whether or not he realized it. “But I will admit it’ll be fun doing this little adventure with you.” He added as he placed a hand gently on her fur feeling how warm and soft it was to the touch. It was like his hand got wrapped around in a blanket for a change.
"That's exactly why we're going on this trip to take them out. They're not only on our turf but I also wanted to give them a little bit of pay back for all those years of not having exactly great memories. It's time to give them a bit of retaliation." Barney said as he looked back at Hyacinth glad that she at least understood. It was clear that the two of them had some bad memories that neither one of them were fond of but they could at least do something about the future now seeing that an opportunity raised up. "Well, we better get going. We can use my motorcycle to get there quickly, unless you can think of another way that's faster." Barney said as he took his mask off remembering that they might have to blend in with the crowd. Hyacinth could easily be one of the performers there and fool the humans without letting them think twice about it. It'd be a piece of cake, at least he hoped so.

Hyacinth herself hadn't been known to have very many friends either, even before she crash landed on Earth when she was on the run. She had been part of a pirate crew who rebelled against the Shi'ar Empire's rule back in their long range ruing of several planets, Hyacinth's included. But none of them had been remotely close to being friends only temporary allies who were by now dead, in the mining pits, or jailed somewhere. She just happened to be lucky to get away thanks to the manifestation of her powers and using her flames which had surprised the Royal Guard. It could almost be the same here on Earth to a degree but she seemed to be forming a closer alliance with the Dark Avengers in a long term thing then just something short and temporary. She knew this was the case with the archer beside her. "Yes, such a shame when someone falls to the good side of the conflict and there's sometimes no turning them back to the previous path. It's even worse when you hear about it being for love or something mushy like that." She said.
Though she chuckled at his tease and glanced at Barney, "Something tells me I've barely scratched to surface of your own skills archer. If you were trained in the circus then no doubt you have some potential for acrobatic feats of your own that might make us quite the duo." She flirted, becoming aware he was starting to flirt with her even if he might not be aware of it himself and she herself began to return the favor. And she was quite looking forward to giving a "performance" to their audience when in reality they were really getting a beat down of their lives. Hyacinth couldn't remember the last time she really had been able to go all out in using her powers and her own physical prowess to begin with. Not in a long while she knew that much.
"Motorcycle it is, otherwise we'd be taking far long the way I prefer." Hyacinth told him as she much preferred to move around on her own feet, sometimes even on all fours like a real cat. But today they were in a hurry and they'd take a few hours just to get around on foot compared to cutting that time in half on a motorcycle so she smiled at him and began heading outside. "Maybe we'll even catch these guys in the middle of one of their shows, make it even more humiliating. Besides if it's a performance they want it's a performance they'll get." She said with a coy grin, looking quite excited at the prospect of ruining a show and replacing it with one no doubt Barney would likely enjoy. After all this time he'd be one of the stars and controlling things instead of the ring master and all his little cronies under the big top who usually took advantage of the people within the Circus of Crime.

Ooc: I figured with this that there'd be a time skip in the posts to get things moving on towards the fun part if that's ok with you Koryn.
"True you only did see a bit of what I know. If the Dark Avengers weren't around I imagine we'd still make a pretty good team up." Barney said noticing that she was flirting with him in return for earlier. He looked back at her with his brown eyes. Though he couldn't help but wonder if he'd ever have a chance with powers. His family as far as he knew, was only filled with normal humans. Not a slice of mutant DNA in it that'd be proven worth wile or even towards their interest. Barney was human and that's all that he'd ever be. His brother was human and his own nephew was human that's one of the few things that they had in common with each other. Well that and archery the two brothers hardly had anything in common.
"It's faster in driving through this New York Traffic at rush hour. I don't care if the citizens wine and complain it's better than taking three hours just to get to central park." Barney said as he gave Hyacinth a soft smile when she mentioned about catching them in their act. They ran circus shows throughout the day, at least four as far as he was aware of. And if they didn't change like last time things would be predictable. "Now that'd be fun to see Hyacinth. We'd be blowing up their act right in their faces." Barney said with a chuckle as he thought about it. It wasn't long before he and Hyacinth went outside towards the motorcycle as he got on it and it wasn't long before he took off eager to get the show on the road.
Once Barney and Hyacinth arrived at the circus Barney took off his helmet as he moved his hair back into a decent position seeing that it was a bit messy from the air and as well as the helmet. Barney looked up seeing the circus tent that was there before them as it was massive and some of the mobile homes were working as the performer's temporary residents while some of the animals had some areas to stay in as well in the moving trucks. "We're here Hyacinth. I suggested sneaking into the show if you want to avoid paying the entrance fee." Barney said as he took out his bow since it had been strapped around one of his shoulders so he could get to it easily. "Besides I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they see I'm still around." Barney added with a grin showing that he was ready to crash this party. Last Barney knew they had heard he was dead. Of course supposedly dead was the key word. He had been barely hanging on to his life as he didn't want to loose it so easily. And of course if he didn't get any help Barney was probably still going to be left in that coma.

"Driving it is then," Hyacinth said with a smile as she joined the archer on the back of his motorcycle, putting on the second helmet before they headed off. And not surprisingly they made it much faster by vehicle then they would have on foot. If they had done that the feline woman had no doubt they'd likely still be trying to find the quickest ways to get there without being slowed down by the constant crowds of New York City. She was just fine in taking Barney's motorcycle and looked over once they arrived a little while later. So, that was a "big top" or the main showing of the circus. It certainly was obnoxiously colorful and Hyacinth really couldn't see why anyone would want to ever work for a circus but at the same time she knew Barney might have had no choice at the time when he was much younger. Certainly no different from her when she had felt like she had little choice but to become a rebel against the tyrannical Shi'ar.
"I think I see one reason you'd want to leave, this colorfulness is making me shudder. I can hardly imagine what their shows are like." Hyacinth said with distaste as she removed the helmet and stood up, using her fingers to brush back her hair a bit and some wandering strands before setting the helmet down and showing a grin of her own. "Sneaking in sounds like a fine idea my dear archer, let's see if you can be as sneaky as this feline." She said with a wink before slipping around some cars that were already parked, no doubt being crowds who were there to see this circus. But of course they wouldn't be seeing this show the Ringmaster likely had in store. Today they would see a much different show, one involving some real sabotage and a duo who could show them true skill. The thought made her flick her tail in excitement as Hyacinth made her way with Barney around the tent to avoid the line and the ticket booth.
That was when one of the many hands who helped to take care of the place surprised even the feline alien woman, Hyacinth having been concentrating on finding the perfect spot to steal the show. "Hey! What are you two doing here?! This is for performers only!" The man said, being perhaps in his mid-forties and looking quite annoyed at someone trying to sneak in. "Oh, I'm sorry sir but we were just wanting to see the show and maybe show our own skills. Me and my archer friend here are excellent acrobats and we have some other skills you and your performers might like." Hyacinth said, looking sickeningly innocent that even the man gave the two a long look, seeming to be deciding to believe them or not. When he still seemed unconvinced Hyacinth reluctantly decided she had to pour on the charm. "Please sir? My friend and I just want to see the show, we won't cause any problems. Surely a handsome fellow like you wouldn't ruin two young would-be performers' dreams would you? Especially not a young gal like me?" Hyacinth said still in a rather sweet, innocent way and being slightly flirtatious with the man who tried not to give in but her pleading, batting eyes finally seemed to win him over.
"Very well, you can watch from the back entrance but it better stay between us you two. I just got this job I ain't losing it for some punks, especially when a pretty young girl bats her eyes." The man said, slightly annoyed but Hyacinth could hear the waver in his voice knowing her charm had worked and could almost see a gleam of hope in the older man's eyes. But he seemed to scurry off quickly which caused Hyacinth to smirk, "It's all about the charm, nine times out of ten it never fails." She mused as she looked back at Barney before leading him over to where the man had indicated, hearing the Ring Master's voice ring out the show would be starting soon. "Well, I think it's time the new Trickshot had his moment of fame, don't you think Barton?" She asked, looking at Barney with an excited and slightly mischievous grin.

It wasn't long at all as they arrived at the circus front as Barney nodded to Hyacinth's suggestion about it being a blinding color. Well that was one tactic on the circus members of how they brought in a crowd. And with all the color they would have gotten a large amount of people attracted in by the noises and the sounds that were going on. "Of course it's how they 'lure in their guests.' Barney said knowing that it was annoying but also true on one reason why he wanted to leave this place. Most of it was to get away from painful memories that lurked around each corner in this area. It was a former team and he returned to one of them. They snuck through the entrance but it seems that even this area was guarded as he was about to throw them out. But it was clear that Hyacinth knew how to lure the men in on to her side which he was a bit surprised at and stunned at the same time. Had she done that to him without knowing it?
"It's clear you have it easy with some guys around here. I just want a little bit of a warning if you do that around me though." Barney said though half joking and half being serious at the same time when she was trying to pull one of those charm tricks on him. She already stole his heart so how much more did she want from him? As they entered the circus he sat on one of the railing sides seeing that there was a spot for them to watch. But it looked like he'd need his archery skills in this one as he smiled back at Hyacinth when she mentioned it. "I'll give them a show they can't resist. And watch for it." Barney said as he gave her a wink and climbed up the railing to get a better footing, he pulled out one of his arrows. It was one of his favorites of the explosion arrows as he threaded it through his bow and fired it. The arrow whisked through the air and landed right where he had wanted it, but the Trickmaster caught it right in his hands. "Barton!" He called out but it was too late as it exploded in hi face before he could do much.
"Yeah I know what you're going to say next. I'm a site for sore eyes. But that'd be the same for you guys." Barney said. "I'd like you to meet one of my newest friends. She's Hyacinth." Barney said as he began to thread his bow once more as some of the guests were screaming in fear after realizing the show was under attack. "I should give you a bit of a background check with these guys Hyacinth. They're known for their circus acts but they also pull of some of the strangest crimes of robbery and theft." Barney said as he released another set of arrows to distract them while they were in the frenzy to get out of the attack that would surely follow after this between the two teams. "This one giving the performance is none the less called Ringmaster, Bruto The Strongman-supposedly this guy has the strength of the Hulk, The Great Gambonnos twins that have the power of rockets, The Human Cannon Ball, and last but not least the Swordsman." Barney said knowing that there was one missing between the two but he had been dead for some time. Barney had told Hyacinth about the former Trickshot that had once been a part of this show but that was a thing in the past.

Hyacinth couldn't help giving Barney a look, hearing his warning that she would have shrugged off if it had been a complete joke. But there was a slight look of annoyance that he'd think she'd pull that on him when she didn't do it quite that often so it somewhat pushed one button that she'd have to make quite clear with Barney later of not jumping to conclusions. After all he was just flirting with her not that long ago so he was one to talk. "You know your one to talk archer, I do recall you were the one that began the flirting earlier." She reminded him casually as she saw him readying his bow and waited when the explosion went off and snuck around towards the high flying performers who were obviously prepared to get back at Trickshot for what he just did.
"Well ain't that just low, stealing from nice people when they're least expecting it. Honestly, what happened to good old fashioned break and stealing." She said as she climbed the ladder, being able to hear Barney clearly as he introduced her and told her what these goons did. She didn't quite mind the villain part since that's what the Dark Avengers were made up from the beginning but she found it tasteless in the way they did it through performances. "Allow me to show you a little trick of my own boys." Hyacinth said as she used the swing to come off the platform, swinging towards the middle as one of the performers had a blaster ready but his yell rang out as Hyacinth easily leapt and kicked the man off the seat to the net below. She easily gripped the strong wood and swung herself towards the opposite platform, flames covering her hands as she punched and burned a few before flipping backwards as the swing retuned near enough she grabbed hold of it with her hands.
Once again she demonstrated her acrobatic prowess, holding the hand stand she flipped into before lifting one hand to fire several fireballs to some of the performers below. And not much to her surprise they began scattering to avoid the rain of fireballs she cast towards them.

“You know what, we’ll forget it. We were both flirting this time alright?” Barney said with a soft shrug as he also focused on sending off the arrows. Within the chaos some of the members tried to flee or get a good aim towards Barney and Hyacinth. It did not seem that easy as he managed to keep them busy with the arrows and as well as Hyacinth’s attacks. “It was a bit of a joke I’ll have to admit.” Barney said but as he was focusing one of the Circus of crime members seemed to be climbing through the seats in order to get to them. He managed to avoid some of the arrows as it seemed to just bounce right off the armor that he was wearing, which was just one bad thing after another.
“Well you know what they say in stores these days Hyacinth: ‘You break it you buy it.’” Barney said knowing that it had been petty crimes like those that kept the Circus of Crimes people well built. However out of nowhere it seemed Bruto the Strong grabbed him by the arms and held him on. He couldn’t exactly get to his bow and arrow as he dropped the bow on one side. Of course that didn’t mean that Barney couldn’t defend himself as he glared back at the other man as he seemed to laugh in amusement. “In your case, you’re trying to break me.” He said grunting feeling something nearly snap in his body but wasn’t about to let it happen. He closed his eyes as Barney gave Bruto a sharp kick in the side of his thigh which made him drop Barney almost instantly as he fell to the ground and quickly grabbed his bow again so he had it in hand. With that he took out one of his arrows and fired it towards Bruto sending him up in smoke from one of the gas arrows that he had in order to avoid another capture. That was not going to be a pleasant one again.
“Tsk tsk Trickshot. You shouldn’t have even come across us in the first place if you wanted a reunion expect nothing good to come out of it.” The Trickmaster said as he came forward near Barney and blew something like a pink gust of smoke in his direction as he ended up coughing from it. “What was that pixy dust? I don’t remember you trying something weak like that.” The archer said. “Oh it’s not pixy dust. It’s just something that I whipped up a year ago. Have fun turning on your own friend right there.” Trickmaster said as Barney seemed to be completely out of focus as he fired an arrow towards Hyacinth’s direction as he seemed to be taking control of the archer.

Hyacinth though easily dodged around in the air, finishing off the last of the aerial performers before she dropped to the net and then to the ground where she was met by several of the staff there. Just with a quick once over she could see she would be facing quite the odds which she didn't really mind, having come to find large numbers to be a challenge and quite the work out in her travels before she crash landed there on Earth. This time would be no different. Reaching back she brought out her Ronda's and activated the blades just as the performers rushed her and the alien feline growled as she began going blow for blow with the circus staff, ducking around strikes or parrying them with her weapons. Sometimes though she had to endure a blow, even a slash or two from a knife but she always slashed back with her own blades. Within the skirmish some of them fell dead to the floor and she only contined fighting until she cleared a path towards the steps with seeing some we're heading towards Barney which she worried about might have trouble.
But just as she was fighting her way along the seats, proving to have quicker balance and reaction time on the precarious backs she was confident she could get to Barney in no time who was so far holding his own. But as she saw the Trickmaster coming to the archer she began to fear he might not do so good this time as this man seemed to be the main brains and leader of the Circus of Crime. Her distraction though allowed one of the security to fire a beam from his weapon sending her flying over the seats and hitting the tents side with a slight growl before she landed on the stands, groaning as she shook her head and looked up to see the dust that was blown Barney's way. And just like that he was no longer himself not even on her side, his arrows were now aimed at her and she barely dodged two of them which made her quite concerned but mostly angered at the way Trickmastrt dealt with his enemies. The man was nothing more than a coward! Her blood boiled at this as her transparent flames became a crimson red and she snarled as she lunged towards some of his works, blasting them away with streams of flames that severely burned them and caused them to yell out before backing off. "You'll pay for this Trickmaster, I swear you'll feel my claws before tonight's end." She swore for all to hear before she looked towards Barney as her flames for now died down.
"Forgive me my dear archer, but I have to be hard on you." Hyacinth murmured as she lunged forward and began striking with her tonfas at Barney, trying to back him towards some stairs while he wasn't paying attention. She hoped if she could keep him distracted his fall might snap him out of it or give her enough time to give him some way to focus on being himself again.

“Come on now, all we want is our team mate back. He left us! And he did it without even saying good bye.” The Trickmaster said with a strange eerie laugh as he left the two lovers to do a little ‘dance’ on their own. Obviously he was not interested in fighting them now as he kept the two busy on their own plants. The others still seemed to be crazed in the chaos as the tent was pretty much destroyed by Hyacinth’s fire and as well as Barney’s arrows that he had knocked into the air earlier. Call Trickmaster a coward or not, it was his show and things were going to go and give the audience truly something to be amazed about. This was where it all started when two team members supposedly turned on each other. As Hyacinth rushed forward Barney took a step back on the walk area was above most of the stands in the back, causing him to fall like that was going to be painful. There was even the possibility of breaking a bone or two, in the process. The walk was high enough of a point where it was considered dangerous but it may have been likely that Barney would have not been so bad since he was skilled in the acrobatics department. If he did break one, it would not have been pretty for Barney or even the Dark Avengers; they’d both be at a loss for that one there.
“Hyacinth…” He said trying to struggle from the Trickmaster’s hold on him as he was about to do his bidding. It was clear that he was struggling with everything that he had to say. He wanted to break free but his will was not strong enough, he needed help. When he took one more step back to avoid an oncoming tofna Barney took one step too far. As his weight almost fell off the high point in the tent as he hung on with one arm to one of the railings that was there. However the bad news only got worse as he dropped his bow in the process as it landed somewhere in the stand. His heart was pounding as he tried to stand back up but it was clear it was a bit difficult for him as he struggled with the Trickmaster’s hold on him at the same time. “Let go archer you know you want too.” He said through his head as he struggled to fight it. “H-he’s making me fall.” Barney managed to say as his grip slowly loosened on the bars as he tried to hang on with all his might.
