A few days since the attack by the Avengers and the X-men to save their respective friends things had not gone well for Erik. Genosha was rebuilt and safe, the people were once again at ease but still concerned of what could happen again, and the Brotherhood all still seemed in puzzlement over his final orders. Unfortunately, they might notice the lack of the Master of Magnetism's appearance around the island as he rarely showed himself for any meetings and actually seemed to be more involved with checking on families on the island most of all while ignoring his leadership duties that would fall on Kicker and Exodus since the two were the next in line of succession. Least that was the plan and it was obvious any paperwork the last few days would have been piling up.
Erik's entire world seemed to have fallen apart from the moment of Magneta revealing who she was and proving for a fact that Pietro had been right all along not to mention that he had another son he had never known about. What really got him though was that he knew he had buried his supposed to be dead daughter himself, having only watched his wife run away in fear of him after taking his revenge upon the city of Vinnista after the fire that killed Anya before and he had been prevented of saving her from a mob. Those memories and emotions all came crashing back down on him like a tsunami crashing down upon a small island and crushing it beneath it's powerful force, one right after the other as all his regrets came to follow in his life. He had once said he'd come to pay for his crimes and sins and now he was, or at least it might have felt like it. If he was not in his throne room or study Erik could always be found in the gardens, one resembling those back at the X-men manor as it was clear him and Charles did share some of the same tastes in style. And that was where he was today, a bottle of red wine in hand as he stared at some red roses with saddened, defeated eyes, the eyes of a beaten down man.
Lifting the bottle Erik took another long swig of the wine, by now partly drunk but not without some of his previous consciousness and awareness around him although not to the usual sharp degree if he were fully sober. Of course, it wasn't unusual for the old mutant to drink once in a while, he usually did for pleasurable recreation and nothing too heavily except the past few days when everything had felt like it was turned up side down. Though he was dressed nice his hair was a little messy and unkept, a little like Pietro's when he had run a long distance and his eyes were a little bloodshot while he also seemed to not have shaven recently either.

For the past couple of days Anya had been crying but mostly kept to herself. She only recently gained her memories back from her past as they came from some unknown source. It's like when she saw Magneto it triggered something in her. Now she was crying for a few things but she made an attempt to be out for today, she knew staying inside was not going to be good for her that was for sure. The young mistress of magnetism went out side after descending to the grounds where the flowers were kept, she eyed most of them as if she were looking for the right ones. Once she found the area that had the rose gardens she carefully cut a few that were alive and healthy as she held on to them being careful of the thorns. "They're beautiful and also deadly. Do people see me as that way as well?" Anya asked softly to herself as she thought she heard something or someone in the gardens.
With her gloves on the thorns wouldn't have hurt as much as they would have so holding them wasn't much of a problem. She began to follow the sounds as she realized who was making all that noise. It was her father. Anya hesitated as she looked back at her father, she realized that it was probably too late by now to hide away, he was bound to spot her. Her thoughts went back to that day where the Avengers and X-Men attacked and how she heard Pietro denounce himself from the family. It was clear he no longer wanted to be a part of the family after being sick of all the drama and the problems that happened. Did he really hate their father that much? But would things be different if he saw that Magneto was only doing his best? He was a busy man and also looking out for kids was not an easy task.
"Father?" She asked wondering if that was the right word to use at this point as she looked back at him. Anya realized that he looked awful in the state of mind that he was in right now. Was there anyway that they could snap out of it. "I..." She fell silent as she put the roses down on the table beside him feeling a bit too shy and worried to even speak. She wondered if it was a bad time. "I picked these. I'm sorry if I intruded." Anya said as she looked away from her father wondering if she would be sent aside as her father wasn't exactly in the best state of mind.

It was true, at first Erik wasn't even aware of his eldest daughter being there in the gardens until he heard someone approaching. Turning he almost was about to tell them to leave in a not so nice manner until he realized it was Anya to which then Erik looked away slightly, finding himself feeling ashamed to look upon the daughter he thought dead before. It pained him so much to look on one of the last children he had who was sticking around and who turned out to be much like he was, especially in his youth until he started getting on in his age. Even now he knew he was likely to not last long in this world, his age becoming more and more obvious as even during the fighting his reflexes weren't quite what they use to be.
"You know Anya, I always regret the day I couldn't save you from that fire, regret that I never went after your mother afterwards at least to have tried to make things better between us when she saw my powers, to have made a better job of having a relationship with my children. Not only have I messed up my relationships with Wanda and Pietro but also your youngest sister Lorna, now I fear I can never make right with anything, including you." Erik murmured, looking towards the sky for a long moment before he reached over and gently plucked one rose she had picked and was careful of the thorns, turning the flower to look it over a bit as he set the wine bottle aside. "I remember when I use to try so hard to get your mother's attention when we were younger, I even went so far as to do whatever it took in a school even to capture her attention. And after that I began knowing nothing but cruelty and hardship, a world I had hoped none of you might face as I did." He said, his voice cracking as he dropped the rose, a few tears flowing down his cheeks and landing on the petals.
It likely would have been hard for the Brotherhood to realize this was the same Magneto they had followed, the same one who had been trying to hard to achieve his previous goals. Now, Erik seemed the shell of his former self as everything in his life seemed to come crashing down on him in one foul swoop. "I should have believed Pietro's words that you could be alive, that there was a sliver of hope and he was right. I was just too ignorant and lost in my previous sorrows to believe it and yet you stand before me, a grown beautiful woman and a powerful mutant in your own right."He murmured, his gaze now turned towards the floor as it became clear the Master of Magnetism hardly seemed to be worried about he rintrusion.

Anya had never seen her father this way before out of the few months that she had been a part of the Brotherhood. How hard it must have been as he lost three of his children who no longer wanted to be a part of his legacy or even wanted to speak his name without finding some sort of evil in it. Pietro had gone so far in hating their father that he no longer wanted to be a part of the family. But she wondered if there was a second chance that they'd ever get out of the twins or even her youngest sibling. She remembered seeing that hatred from her younger brother and it was something that she did not want to witness any time soon from him or their other siblings. "You still have me father. but can I ask you something father? You need to let go of the pain that has left you. There are others who suffered so much pain as much as you did. If you let go of that pain you will find peace. Your daughter's alive and you no longer have to worry." She said as she picked up the rose that her father dropped as she placed it in the pile but she had done it so carefully that the tear drops did not fade.
She took off her helmet as she brought forth her own long and wavy silver hair. It was similar to her father's and Pietro on the silver hair. Though Pietro's had more of a silvery white to it than hers did. None the less she was still very pretty to many men, though once they realized that she had a rage like her father's and as well as being a mutant most men ran at that point since they all had fear in their eyes. She was not exactly the best at getting men at her side that was for sure. "I imagine my mother was beautiful. I don't have really any memories of her. So the only thing I can have is the word of mouth from you." Anya said. Though whether or not she realized it Wanda seemed to similarly resemble her mother with her long curly and brown hair that she inherited from her. She didn't feel a smile coming at all with her saddened state as well as she felt upset and helpless. Was there anything that she could do to help her father? Well there was one idea that came to mind and she only wondered what was going on.
"I know this isn't going to be easy father, but you have me and the others to help you out through this." Anya said as she had an idea that seemed outrageous but she knew if her father wanted to find peace they'd have to go beyond measures that neither one of them would want to go through. The other day she recalled seeing in the news that Tony Stark had woken up from being unconscious after their rescue earlier with the Avengers and Brotherhood. If Magneto said he was sorry to the two teams maybe things would change. "Tony Stark woke up in the hospital after blacking out when the Avengers rescued him, according to the news story. I know you aren't exactly on with good terms with him or the Avengers. But if you want things to change....You should at least apologize to him and the Avengers. An apology can go along way..." Anya said as her words faded realizing that this might not be the best of times to mention such a failure that happened. She winced waiting to see what her father said about that. She had expected that there would inddeed be some very harsh words coming from her father. But he looked so broken....Maybe it was worth a try?

"Letting go of my pain and anger has been something I tried to do for fourteen years Anya, fourteen long years after my first team broke down and separated. Anger, hatred, and pain are the only things I've really known since I was a young a lad in Germany and it's really nothing I can just let go of so easily." Erik told her having found this to be far more difficult then he ever thought it would be. Though he never really told anyone why he came back, what inspired him to retake up the old reigns to stop humans or at least make it clear mutants would fight back if they wanted to and he gave them the refuge they might not get anywhere else. Maybe it was time he tried doing so now.
Looking back towards Anya he spoke, "The only reason I restarted the Brotherhood is because I came across some men that led me to a lab, one the experimented on mutants. I saved a young girl there but she has since been gone. Either way seeing such a sight made me want to restart my campaign again to help mutants and to make humans understand we are not a kind of Homo sapien kind to be taken lightly." He told her, briefly having a bitterness in his voice and seemed to have some strong tone in it once again, though only briefly as he sighed and looked back towards the ocean. That time seemed like an eternity away and it was clear that didn't even bring his own spark back. Beneath the surface of his strong, superior attitude of the mutant race Erik really had become a broken down man and there just seemed little that could change that. It wasn't wrong that he was glad to see his eldest daughter but he still had the worry that he had been in the wrong for not having helped her so long ago and not believing her alive before.
Erik had to clench his fists and bite his tongue, trying hard not to become harsh towards his remaining child that remained there on the island, his one last heir that could inherit the island should he change his mind about Kicker. "Anya, it isn't that easy. Between what I did to Tony and your half brother Horus on top of Pietro denouncing me as family and the rest of my crimes there will likely be no way a simple apology would do. I set out to try and change my ways but I haven't done much of that, simply a slight change in tactics and not being outright with my plans." Erik said, managing to find himself not becoming harsh but it was clear he was dismissive of the ridiculous idea she had brought up. Glancing towards her he shook his head, "I'd have better luck with the X-men perhaps, but only a slightly better chance."

“I’m sorry to hear that father.” Anya said as there was surprise to her voice as she listened to what he had to say about the mutants that were being held captive in that place in Japan. There were still facilities like that? It seemed had to believe at this point as she thought about it. Since fifteen years ago there was nothing but peace and it sort of made Anya sick when she thought about it. The heroes had been too nice and wanted this peace for some time but there was a reason for restarting this ongoing war between the heroes and the villains. “I understand now why you started it. The heroes think there is peace in the world but clearly they’ve been blindsided by this sudden news. They thought villains were out of their way when they thought they could dump them into those ‘protective’ facilities but here even the civilians aren’t even safe.” Anya said as she clenched her fist. The once gentle girl that was beside her father had faded a bit as she heard her father’s story and she could understand why he had not been so happy. She looked back at her father when he said that it wasn’t so easy. It was likely that they would not be able to heal so many broken bonds from what her father did. Tony was likely going to cause problems for the Brotherhood if they tried getting close to him and Pietro wanted nothing to do with the family either now as he made it official to his father. And he surely got the message across. “Well think of something father. And besides, you still have me. I have no intentions of going back to the main lands any time soon and trying to ‘fit in’ with the humans. Genosha is one place that I wouldn’t mind living in for the rest of my days.” Anya said as she looked back at his father as she placed a hand on his shoulder. However she saw someone come forward from the entrance of the gardens as it was the red skinned mutant Exodus. Anya knew that he had participated in the fight earlier with the Brotherhood and Avengers and even though he suffered some wounds that didn’t stop him from his jobs that he needed to perform. “Exodus everything alright-" She was cut off as she saw him starting to quiver underneath his feet as she quickly went to his side and just caught him in time before he collapsed on the ground and his hand was holding his side.
“That wound that soldier gave me. It hasn’t healed at all or even tried to progress. Sir I was going to see if I can request to take some days off. I know it’s a bad time, but I feel like it should be in order…” Exodus said as he was clenching his side where the wound was as Anya inspected it surprised to see how bad it was from hearing his voice. Blood had dried there from several days but it was still open as he had attempted to try and put bandages over it from time to time. But it was clear that it was hurting the mutant far more than he had hoped it would. “I’m so sorry, sir.” He said as he started to stand with Anya’s help.

"Now you see why I have fought so hard for my cause Anya, for why I can't help despising just about all humans. There have been some exceptions of course, like your mother and...Lorna's mother but besides that the Homo Sapiens are nothing close to being at peace with us like my late friend has wanted. There is just too much proof that peace between us and the humans is just not possible." Erik said, looking back at Anya and seeing her shock but he was deep down relieved one of his children understood the problem or had even heard of his reasons now. Even if he tried to tell Pietro and Wanda, maybe even Lorna, they likely would never believe the man and far as he knew Pietro never would listen to him either way. The X-men likely wouldn't find the justification to follow his lead either as he still found their attempts for peace futile and in vain.
"Yes, I do have you left and I am beginning to wonder if I shouldn't give you the rightful place of leadership should anything happen to me Anya. If this remains a kingdom of sorts for mutants you would be the rightful heir." He told her as he began to wonder now what he should do when his health finally did make it to where he could no longer function normally or continue his leadership roles. These thoughts were short lived however when he noticed the same movement and was surprised to see Exodus, mostly because he looked in terrible shape. This was a condition he rarely saw Exodus in since the red skinned mutant was quite resilient and tough, usually being difficult to deter from anything. But even Erik had to admit something just wasn't right.
And right they were as he rushed over to catch Exodus's other side and helped to older mutant up, supporting him carefully and being careful not to further irritate the injury. "Your not worry about days off Exodus, what you need to worry about is recovering. I think we should better call it a much needed medical absence." Erik said with genuine concern since Exodus had in a way become a loyal follower and to a point a friend. He was one of the few people Erik trusted and he didn't want to loose the red skinned mutant so soon. So making sure him and Anya had Exodus securely supported between them Erik concentrated on the metal beneath their feet and created a circular platform that lifted in the air and moved it towards the citadel quickly but carefully so not to make the pain worse.
Though by the time they reached the doorway leading to the medical wing it was obvious the control took its toll slightly upon the Master of Magnetism. It was becoming slightly more clear these days that Erik really had to keep himself healthy and optimistic or else his powers began to suffer, and his old age was getting to him now to the point concentrating could sometimes take a bit out of him. Landing the platform carefully he nodded at his daughter to help him carry Exodus in, Erik using his magnetism to move the doors so the mutant could be brought to the medical wing.

Anya did understand now what her father had been through. There weren’t too many people who’d understand the pain and suffering from the problem that he faced. Anya had been there for a portion of it but died before the real war could get under way and therefore missed it all. Exodus hadn’t been around at all due to being locked away in the sarcophagus, it’d be years before Magneto had any interest of unlocking the omega just yet. But she wondered if there was any hope of having Pietro or the others at their sides. It was probably unlikely for the Maximoff twins, Pietro made it clear that he wanted to have nothing to do with the family and that was final. “I understand father. If you don’t want to give me the title, that is fine as well. I don’t know if I am even worthy for it myself.” Anya said with a soft nod. She could only imagine what her father had been through at some point. From what she remembered, there were soldiers everywhere lining the streets. They could not walk around without having someone point a weapon at them and be fearful of even their neighbor. Yes there was plenty of mass hysteria around at home but was it exaggerated? She’d never know the truth to that question. But it didn’t matter, from what she did remember no matter where you went you were not safe in Europe at the time of the war. Death was all around you.
However their next focus was back on Exodus as it was clear he needed a medical room right away. In the state that he was in he was likely going to pass out at any minute. “You are saying I should have a leave of absence? I haven’t had one of those in a long time. But I wonder if the vibranium in Captain America’s shield is sensitive to my skin. That’s the only thing I can think of. Like how carbonadium is powerful against healing factors.” Exodus said wondering what the possibility was. But it was true Exodus rarely took leave of absences for any reason since he was that committed to Magneto. His weight was carried by both of the master and mistress of magnetism towards the hospital that was within the walls of the city. They had several no doubt as one would not be able to handle all the injuries and it’d avoid overcrowding. The doors opened to the medical room and Anya helped put Exodus on one of the open beds. It was clear that the Avengers had attacked them and left a heavy dent in the team, and another thing that had been certain was the team was not afraid of striking other ones. It seemed that they had gone to their old ways.
Anya noticed how tired Magneto seemed as this seemed to be taking a toll on her father as well, “Father you should be resting as well. I will ask the nurses to send if there’s any news for Exodus.” Anya said wondering if he’d take it or not. She had a feeling that he might not want to take it knowing how stubborn her family could be at times. Pietro had a stubborn side and that was clear. If Magneto said no that was up to him and she could not force him to take it. “Thank you as well.” Exodus said as he sat up a bit but his hand had been up on his side where the wound was. He certainly hoped that it’d be taken clear of soon.

Once Exodus was safely on one of the beds Erik looked at the two, this time looking serious at their questions and concerns. "Exodus, you won't be much use to the Brotherhood or anyone if your state were to worsen than it already is. So yes, a leave of absence will be required until you are well enough to continue your duties. I've already had Analisa suffering with a head injury she's just recovering enough from to have left a little earlier this afternoon I don't need my right hand man down for the count or worse." He told him firmly, making it quite clear the red skinned mutant wouldn't be leaving the medical wing until he was for sure healthy enough to be walking around and continuing what Magneto usually had him doing.
Now his attentions turned to Anya who he knew was right but he merely shook his head, his stubbornness indeed kicking in. "I am just a little tired is all Anya, I have not slept much nor really worried for rest. This comes with having so much on your mind so don't worry yourself for my sake." Erik told her, despite the fact he was rather tired and exhausted, sleep being rather vital right now but he could push through it. He was old but he wasn't old enough to admit defeat because he allowed his sorrows to take over. His world was indeed crashing down but he had to for now lock it away and continue on as he normally did. "Your welcome Exodus, one of the nurses should be able to tell us your condition later. For now I will take over where you left off." Erik said. With that he took his leave, seeing this as a chance to get some time alone and perhaps try to sort out his thoughts or have a welcoming distraction from talking of the past.
Though what Erik didn't know was that Kicker had seen the three earlier and had followed to the medical wing. Hearing what was going on he reluctantly decided to reveal himself and knew he couldn't loose a vital part of the team either, especially if things were to go as originally planned for him to take over. "Let me take a look at that wound Exodus." He said, his tone as usual not really all that friendly as he came to the opposite side of Anya, where his mentor had been moments ago and saw the cut the shield had left. It'd take a little time but without a word the younger mutant rested his hand near the cut and concentrated the sound waves around him towards his palm and projecting that energy against the old mutant's skin which had a tingling feeling as the molecules around the wounded area were stimulated by the vibrations. The dried blood crumbled away as the wound reopened a bit but soon it slowly and gradually began to close as Kicker concentrated, continuing the process for about twenty minutes in silence until he got what he could of the wound and had to stop.
Stepping back with a satisfied look he then turned away and put his hands in his pocket, "That should take care of the worse of the wound and at least it's closed. The medical staff should be able to handle the rest along with your body's natural healing process." He said, tone almost bored but strangely the action seemed to show that Kicker did have some care for the team since he had seen it was clear the team wouldn't trust him if he didn't show some form of kindness or care for their safety once in a while.

“Alright I understand sir.” Exodus said as he put his head back down but it seemed like it wasn’t long before he saw Kicker come in. It was true that the Brotherhood had suffered plenty of injuries from when the Avengers came in. And it was even clearer when the Avengers arrived that they were determined to take their friends back no matter what the cost was. Perhaps they needed to up their game and start recruiting more members. The Avengers were familiar with a good chunk of the members that were there, but this would be a bit more unpredictable towards them. As Magneto left leaving the two by themselves the youngest of the brotherhood came in to see what was going on. Kicker seemed to be showing some concern, which was not all that common with the young Brotherhood as he had been appearing lately towards the others but this was a side that not many of them had seen where he had showed compassion. Kicker came over to the red skinned mutant as he began to heal his wound; well not entirely it was in better condition that it had once been in. “Thank you Kicker. It does not feel near as bad as it once had been.” Exodus said as he put his hand over it to see for himself as it had healed somewhat over his torso. This seemed to bring back some memories when Apocalypse had been teaching him. Wound inflicting was nothing new when his powers had come in and then scars littered all over his body from it. He had hardly shown anyone it and did not really want to surface old wounds towards the team. “Kicker, Anya can I talk to you for a bit? I have an idea somewhat on how to get the Brotherhood a bit of aid.” Exodus had been doing some digging and while on one news report that had caught his attention. It was clear that they were not the only enemies towards the Avengers and they had other teams. The Dark Avengers had once been a horrible threat towards the Avengers, and if they teamed up with that team they might have a chance. After all the saying the enemy of my enemy is my friend certainly played off here. “I’m sure you’re aware of the expression the enemy of my enemy is my friend?”
“Go on Exodus? Hopefully Magneto would be interested.” Anya said hoping that it was true herself on what he was about to say. “Well I had done a bit of digging lately and on one report on the news there was a talk about another opposing team. They are just starting out after resurfacing and they’re called the Dark Avengers. They’re nothing like the Avengers, as it is clear that they are for the villains. I was wondering if we could team up with them like the Avengers did with the X-Men. Of course we’d need everyone’s approval on that one.” Exodus said wondering if there was even a chance that this would happen. If it did, it was going to be huge in their books.

"Don't bother with thanks Exodus, can't have one of our strongest going down from a simple gash from the old timer's shield. That'd be a little embarrassing I'd say." Kicker said, looking back at the red skinned mutant with a tone that didn't exactly have the compassion he was showing just now in healing the man. It was more out of making sure they didn't lose a member who was quite powerful and influential among the team, so if Kicker did take up leadership he'd have a way for someone to help out from time to time. Nonethelss, he did listen to what Exodus had to say and actually turned to show some interest upon hearing this.
Of course, he wasn't the only one who had shown interest in the Dark Avengers nor had done some looking into the team. "Yes the Dark Avengers have seemed to be proving to want to make themselves known these days, especially if they are planning to resurface." Kicker agreed, leaning against the wall nearby. "I did my own looking in to the new team and turns out all but one are mutants since even that feline who is rumored to be an alien is a mutant, which means it's almost a double bonus. But we could use that man Trickshot's help since he is rather skilled." Kicker said in agreement, knowing for a fact even Magneto couldn't pass up such an offer. If they had an alliance with the Dark Avengers certainly their team ups would shock not only the Avengers but also the X-men who might not expect them to team up with one team that was formerly really mostly humans and others with superhuman abilities. A grin showed on his face at the idea and he soon lifted one hand that showed a concentrated orb of sound energy in his hand.
The ball had sound waves flowing from bottom to top in small circles, looking like small pulses passing over an invisible sphere of nothing. But the young man's real objective was to take out his older brother more than anything and soon as he took care of Lance he could fully set his sights on the goals of the Brotherhood. "With the Dark Avengers at our side I'd say the heroes are numbered."He said, but the sadistic tone in his voice revealed a rather disturbingly dark side to this twenty year old who obviously saw great joy in causing pain and harm to anyone if he got the chance.

“True it is a bit embarrassing.” Exodus said with a sigh as he looked back at Kicker seeing the young mutant. At one point he had been that young, but it had been a long time ago. He wasn’t the same anymore since he had longevity and also had been around for a couple hundreds of thousands of years. His body had been in stasis the entire time but it was possible that his age that was starting to catch up to him too. But he hoped that wasn’t the case. The Brotherhood needed him and he needed to be there for them. Exodus nodded since it looks like he wasn’t the only one who had done some digging around the Dark Avengers. They were still new compared to their last reincarnation but they’d prove to be useful to the Brotherhood that was for sure.
“Well if Magneto agrees to this idea of allying ourselves with the team. I can go in and convince them. But going alone may not be the wisest of choices. I’d need some back up.” Magneta said as she spoke up seeing to agree with Exodus, three for the count now it seemed. As they were starting to get supporters for the idea, well the Avengers teamed up with the X-Men, so why couldn’t they do the same with it? Magneta was an Omega like her father and Exodus but one mutant alone could not take down an entire team. There was that concern that was going on in their book. If the Dark Avengers said know a fight might break out between the two groups, and it surely would get noticed by someone along the way that they did not want.
“If I recovered in time I’d be sure to join you Magneta. I’m afraid I can’t go at this point.” Exodus said as he looked back at Kicker. He seemed to be eying him with a warning look. There was still a bit of cockiness in the boy as he seemed confident. They still had a lot to worry about on these on coming plans. Something could go wrong if they had a problem in it. And normally the problems were bad ones. “Just don’t get too cocky Kicker. Take that from a man’s words of wisdom.” Exodus said knowing that even that word could cause him trouble in the past. As an elder he had plenty of experience and he hoped at least Kicker would understand that. He was not trying to scold him but just warn him of events that may happen.
"They after all might have a trap waiting in store." Exodus guessed, as he watched him form the soundwaves as he bounced the ball. It was clear he was ready for another fight. But they had not had any since the Avengers had shown up. Maybe this light of hope might help their leader get himself on his feet. It'd be a huge help, that was for sure.

"I'm not getting cocky Exodus, I'm just being...enthusiastic you could say." Kicker said as he moved the sound ball in his hand a bit before letting it disappear. Though the warning look he was given made Kicker inwardly roll his eyes, thinking the older mutant was just being tough on him and telling him to be cautious just because it was something his mentor normally did. But Kicker wasn't exactly like that, he wasn't another Magneto. True he held many of his principles but at the same time Kicker thought Magneto had gone soft a bit over the years and it was clear his mentor's age was becoming a problem. For all the younger mutant knew it would only be a matter of time before he'd be taking up the reigns and free to do his own methods to some degree.
Finally turning away Kicker spoke once more, "I'd suggest taking Analisa with you Magneta. You two are powerhouses on this team alone and it might help that one of them is a lot like her, might help convince them to come to our side." Kicker told her, deciding that those two were the least damaged among them and someone else had to stay to help protect Genosha. Not that Kicker really cared entirely but the Brotherhood needed some place to continue their work after all so he knew he had to show some degree of caring about this metal palace. Besides he could have sworn he had seen Analisa being quite interested in finding others who might be Neyaphem, much like her so it seemed only logical to send her along side Magneta. "Besides you two probably could easily earn their trust easier than me or Exodus could. I've heard female members of anything can seem less intimidating and less aggressive, not that I'm trying to be sexist or anything it's just a fact I've heard about many times." He added.
But for now it seemed best to get things under way and he began to leave. "I'll talk with Magneto about this idea, you two get some rest." With that Kicker left out of sight from the two, making his way to where he likely would find Erik which was most likely his study.

"It's certainly good to have that." Exodus said as he listened to what Kicker had to say. Still a word of advice every once in awhile was something to be listened too. Especially if it was from your elders. They were always very important people to listen too as they had tons of experience on their hands. Exodus had been through countless battles with the Brotherhood by now, and he knew how the Brotherhood worked, that was enough for him to know what worked and what didn't work. Exodus was also aware that Magneto's health had gone down hill due to his age, they'd have to find something for him soon at least to keep him going for a few years. But he wasn't about to recommend the plan that he had gone through with Apocalypse. It had been his own choice and now he considered that man to be far crueler than any person on the planet and that was not his taste. No one would live when Apocalypse was around, at least Magneto was giving the mutants a chance to live a free life without worry.
He looked back tot he other two remaining brotherhood members that were in the room as they suggested on who to bring to see about this event of talking with the Dark Avengers. At the most blood was going to be spilled, but he had a funny feeling that maybe Magneta would avoid that from happening. The Dark Avengers had similar hates that were there. "Even so Analisa and I can be a bit of a powerhouse of our own in this one so if trouble comes our way we can handle ourselves. Even Malice, Alora seems to handle herself pretty darn well in a fight." Magneta said with a soft shrug not minding it one bit. It was clear that the Brotherhood had strong women as well on the team as they were not about to let in someone that had a weakness in it that was so easily done with.
"Alright if Magneto says yes we'll be heading over as soon as we can. We can't afford to loose anymore time on our hands because of this." Magneta said as she began to get up and leave after Kicker to leave Exodus alone. It was clear he needed his rest too if he wanted to recover at a decent pace. If anything he'd have the next few days off for his leave of absence. But Exodus wasn't about to leave the brotherhood any time soon.
Ooc: I think this is a good place to end this Koryn? Unless you have anything else to say in it?
