"Are you so sure that's a good idea to do sir? You've only been conscious for more than forty eight hours and you're suggesting jumping off the top of the hospital building?" Jarvis said as his AI seemed worried as ever for his owner and creator. Of course it wasn't a surprise Tony wasn't really known to be held down for long in some places and along with this new surge of freedom he had been wanting to get out and enjoy things a bit more after being trapped and held captive under Magneto's watchful eyes for weeks and he had wanted to do nothing more but get back to the normal routine of things. And as always he had a plan for just about everything. His suit had been sent to him by one of his workers as he easily got into it without fear this time as he shook his head, "You said that the very first time I was building one of my suits Jarvis. I'm confident this will just add to some excitement. Oh wait you're a computer, so you wouldn't exactly know what excitement is." Tony said though it was mostly for teasing the AI for the heck of it. "Just don't come crying to me when you damage something again sir." Jarvis said as the AI fell silent as Tony looked down from where the building was seeing how high up he had been. Still the hospital did not match the height of Stark Industries which he saw easily where they were as the tower jetted up so high it seemed like it was nearly grasping for the heavens.
Tony took in a deep breath as he ignited his flight system in his heels as he began to feel himself lifting off from the ground and it wasn't long before he took a dive from the tower straight down. Most of the other hospital patients would have not seen it coming as Tony flew past them at such a great speed. Though he was obviously doing his best not to go so fast that he broke some of the windows into pieces and that he'd likely have to pay for on his hospital bill when he was allowed to get out. However the fun ended very quickly as he landed on the ground a short time later as he landed with ease. Some people had indeed noticed the super hero outside as he was quickly gaining his wits back as they began to crowd around him a bit curious and asking him all kinds of questions but Tony needed to find a way to slip away from them before things got out of hand. And he did at last after he managed to get most of them away as he took the armor off of him. For once in his life he was kind of glad that he didn't have a group of fans surrounding him since he wanted his time to himself and some peace and quite.
He had his suit in one hand as he began to make his way back towards the hospital bed that he was given, it wasn't a surprise at all that this man was not known for staying down for too long. As he had his suit in one hand for obvious reasons and of course it wasn't at all big and bulky like it was earlier. It had managed to compact itself into a form of a suitcase for easy caring though a bit on the heavy side since the suit was no doubt made of metal. Strong people could no doubt lift it with ease. As he recalled he met Violet Frost on the first time that he had woken up and he noticed some similarities in the two woman. Was it possible that they were related? He did recall her saying that Mrs. Frost was her mom and that only heightened his curiousity even more as he felt his heart pounding behind his arch reactor. Maybe Jarvis had been right about having far too much fun for him in one afternoon...

In a completely different hospital wing, a rather irritated Emma Frost waited for twenty minutes before she got to see the doctor stupid enough to waste her time by making her go down there and talk to him in person about her results. "One might think the best hospital in New York might have realized we're in the technology era by now," she told the man who greeted her with a friendly smile that soon faded as the White Queen entered the room. The man grew serious and stood up while gesturing for her to sit down. She wasn't in the mood to obey and her hostile expression made that part clear. "Suit yourself, Miss Frost. I just thought that you might want to sit down to hear this..." the man said pushing his glasses up his nose.
"You've already wasted enough of my time, Doctor. Just go straight to the point." She ordered irritated. The man seemed uncomfortable but nodded anyway, intimidated. He handed Emma a folder and started fidgeting. "The test results from your annual check up came back. Your MRI showed a lump in your left lung." For the first time in a while, the blond seemed shocked, but it lasted only for a second before she crossed her arms across her chest and seemed as composed and irritated as usual. "Is cancer the word you're looking for? If it is, just say so." She defied him, making an effort to remain impassive, but her heart was beating like crazy inside her chest.
The comment made the man even more uncomfortable with Emma's directness and he avoided her gaze. "No. It could be a number of things. We'd like to make a biopsy and more blood-work to rule everything else out, but there's nothing to worry..." Emma interrupted him: "Great. I'll call tomorrow to schedule an appointment." And, with that, the woman left the office with long strides. One could think she was trying to run away from a ghost as fast as possible without raising suspicions.
Still upset, Emma walked down the halls with her mind racing through a million ideas and memories. She had walked through half the premises when something brought her back to reality. Between trying to remember if there was anyone in her family who had had cancer and trying to figure out how she'd be able to live with something like that, Emma sensed someone coming the opposite direction. He was close enough so that she would run into him soon, so the telepath paced her walk to a much slower pace and looked up. She immediately recognized Tony Stark and one of her eyebrows shot up. That was an odd place to find someone like him. Her ice blue eyes gazed at the man, wondering if he would speak to her now that they were coming closer and closer.
"Mr.Stark," she greeted him with a quick nod, more out of curiosity than politeness. She desperately needed to take her mind off the worrying news and finding someone like Stark in a hospital was interesting enough to do the trick for a few minutes at least.

As Tony walked he hadn’t noticed someone else that he knew was also in the hospital. Of course this hospital is one of the finest in New York and those that could afford it would no doubt be placed there. They had to have a large sum of money in order to pay for the procedures and other problems that were within the hospital and to Tony this was probably nothing for the billionaire as he had a few other things to focus on like his upcoming wedding with Yuki. However he stopped in his walk as he heard someone speak up his name and he still held onto his case afraid that someone would be far too tempted to try and take his armor. Of course he doubted that there were many people that’d know how to open it and use the armor first hand. Tony was one of a few people that could use the suit but still his paranoia and concern for the suit was up a bit. As he looked to where he heard the voice of the person he realized that the person was very familiar to him. It had been Emma Frost; the odd thing was that he had seen her daughter at least a few days ago as she explained his bizarre dream to the other Avengers. And he had to admit it made some sense.
“Afternoon, Mrs. Frost.” Tony said as he came near her so the two could easily talk. Though he did notice that she seemed a bit surprised for him being there, but he could say the same for her. Well it had been a clear one if they just checked the news, he had been rescued recently from the island of Genosha ruled by Magneto and had been a captive there. The last thing that he wanted was to be held down in a hospital as Tony seemed quiet bored these past few days as he wanted to go back to his own building. “You seem a bit surprised for seeing me here. I can give you an explanation if you have a few moments of your time to listen. I understand that you’re a busy person.” Tony added. Though he had hoped on his little adventure earlier of diving off the hospital roof hadn’t exactly scared her either like it had with some of the other hospital members that were there. He knew that Mrs. Frost was a strong woman and scaring her was probably the least of her worries right now.
He paused a bit as he decided to give her his story and tried to do it as short as possible, “Basically I had been held captive with the Brotherhood, without my suit or any means of escape until some of the X-Men and Avengers teamed up in order to rescue me. They did successfully but towards the end I blacked out as they were trying to finish the rescue and the first place they sent me was in the hospital where I woke up half a day later. The hospital wants me here until the weekend and I am already starting not to be able to stand this place.” Tony said knowing that there were still some things that he had to take care of at Stark Industries. The workers were probably worried to death about their boss and he knew that there were probably repairs that were in order from some of the Avengers as there usually were some when he was gone. That part was usually guaranteed since Tony told them not to destroy things; it usually was the opposite result of what he said.

Precisely because that hospital was extremely expensive, Emma had never thought she would run into someone she knew. Friends was one of the many things Ms. Frost didn't do. Someone from Frost Enterprises, perhaps, but not someone remotely interesting or important, like the people who knew about her gift. Xavier's pockets were deep, but not deep enough that his students were sent to a first class institution like that. Tony Stark was a logical option for running into someone she knew, but in the few minutes of her life Emma had actually stopped to consider the man, she had thought it nearly impossible to get hurt inside a suit capable of all the wonders the world knew Ironman for.
The idea of him ending up in a hospital deserved at least a half smile if not a witty remark on her part, but Emma was still too shocked to be superior. Maybe she even had overheard something about him being rescued on the news and wasn't fully paying attention. With two girls missing at the school and the responsibilities that came with being a teacher and a CEO at Frost Enterprises, the White Queen's mind usually had little room for issues that weren't her immediate concern. A good example was Tony's earlier stunt, which she didn't see from her doctor's office in the other side of the building.
A proud yet friendly smile bloomed in Emma's face. She respected that man. His company both competed and cooperated with hers often and he had proven his value during the various times their paths had crossed. A worthy ally or adversary, depending on the circumstances. It was a difficult thing to come by. "Yes. It is strange to see you outside of a meeting room." She admitted slightly amused. Not that Emma thought he lived in one, but thanks to her disdain when it came to other people's private thoughts she knew Tony wasn't one to go out of the workshop much when a new project had him obsessed.
"I think I have a few minutes to hear how you managed to escape my old friend's playground. He must be losing his touch in his old age." Emma joked. She was actually glad that Stark had gotten help in time. Even a woman who hated having competition could appreciate that humanity might have lost a brilliant mind if the businessman had died.
Tony's words reminded Emma of her fears and the fact that there was a chance she, too would be spending enough time in that hospital to feel sick of it. No. She wouldn't think like that, she was a Frost.
Her eyes flashed down to Stark's suitcase and then back to his face. "I can see you take medical advice very seriously." Emma said with a half-smile.

“It’s quite possible that it is the case. The other Avengers told me that Quicksilver somehow managed to convince his father to stop the attack. Or at least he played a part in it.” Tony said knowing that there wasn’t much love or family relationship interest in that part of the family. Quicksilver had never liked the talk of family and normally when it came to such a thing he usually did what was best for him and Wanda, Magneto was out of the picture. With the recent events, Tony had not heard from the speedster since he had been spending time in the X-Mansion, hoping that his half-brother Horus was alright. He had been caught in the attack, with Magneto on Genosha at the same time when Tony had been held hostage. He knew Pietro would come around, he often had periods of where wanted to be left alone and the speedster would not leave the Avengers without a good reason.
Tony did notice several things in their conversation she gave him a smile which he was a bit surprised about. He had heard from Wolverine that she could be some times cold towards some people. Of course that was just one side of the story. Logan had often been in and out being a part time Avenger or a student and often had to make some sacrifices to see how the Avengers were doing in order to see the team or be a part of it. Of course he knew Emma from other sources as well; sometimes their companies were together or apart depending on the situation. His brilliant mind had kept his company running and those other ones had respected the man. Not to mention he had skills that were highly impressive in the business area. If he ever wanted to drop everything that he was doing and restart a new company he could as well do that as well and within a week he’d be able to keep the company up and running. Tony had done that once but he wasn’t about ready to drop everything since the Avengers relied so heavily on Stark Industries as a home and a base for the team.
“Well normally I would have objected coming to such a place on my own. But I was unconscious at the time, so the Avengers had to figure out the next part in that. My own lab has a medical bay for incidents that occur with my arch reactor. This hospital wouldn’t have been suitable for such tasks.” Tony said with a soft chuckle but he noticed that Emma had glanced down at his suitcase that he had in his hand. Obviously it was his armor as it resembled the familiar black and yellow pattern so there was no missing it. Though Jarvis was silent now, he had made quite a bit a noise earlier when they were on the roof top as Tony attempted his stunt earlier with obvious success, he wasn’t about to do it if he knew that it was going to cause problems or injure himself. If he wanted to jump off of Stark Industries he could have done that too.
“I see you’ve noticed my suitcase. It’s been one of the few ways that I can transport my armor these days without waiting several hours at a time. Plus, it seems to make sense that you’d find a business man with one. But I’d agree, I’d rather be in my lab right now than in a hospital. There are many unfinished tasks that I need to get to there at some point in the future.” Tony said not exactly so keen on giving them away so soon, since they were not meant for the public eyes just yet. “Anyways I think that’s enough about me for a change. Anything interesting that I ought to know about you, Emma?” Tony asked. Of course that was if she wanted him to know. He was aware that she had a lot on her plate as well and if she wanted to keep it away from him he wouldn’t mind at all. After all Tony wasn’t a mind reader but an incredibly smart man. As for his toys and inventions, he was always careful on who saw his inventions and the ones that he didn’t want the public to see he kept in a secret area of his lab that only a few had access to that area. From the looks of things she had not seen his stunt though it may have been other things were on her mind at the time from a guess in the look of her eyes. Or she had seen him it was hard to say at this point. He was leaning towards the other side of the possibility of where she had not seen him at all. Well maybe next time he’d get lucky, and surprise someone he did know again with his suit.

"And I keep thinking my family is a sick mess." Emma thought with a disgusted face, but it was to be expected. She wasn't just joking when accusing Magneto of becoming softer with age. That was a change that she had seen slowly taking place for some time now and it certainly didn't suit her old ally. In Emma's eyes, it was worrisome news and she took mental note to do some research about it until she found either a reason to really worry or to be reassured enough to dismiss the matter entirely.
As for Tony Stark, they've had some unpleasant exchanges in the past, mainly because of their egos, since they both felt so important, they expected the other to be the one at fault if something went south because of a mistake. What proud person would take the blame even if he or she was to blame? None. She understood that, and the Avengers had helped the X-Men enough times in the past few years that she managed to let go off that ugly business that had pissed her off so much. Emma wasn't the forgiving kind, but she was a strategist and knew that the X-Men were better with the Avengers as their allies than when both groups held grudges against each others. "Magneto going senile, that's fabulous." Emma complained. "As if wasn't bad enough when all that brutal power was used predictably." She went on thinking out loud. A resentful psycho was always easier to deal with than a madman. At least you knew what to expect from the former.
"The creator of the first miniature arch reactor can't escape a hospital... well, I guess we all have limitations." She had imagined a man like him would have come with a huge entourage and several party girls. On a separate note, Emma thought that if his comrades in arms' first option was a hospital where they couldn't deal with any problems derived from his arch reactor failing, the average IQ in the Avengers would make The Hulk 'the smart one' in the group. Maybe they weren't all that lucky to have them as allies after all. Those contemptuous thoughts reassured Emma, who felt she was once again recovering her composure after the huge shock she had just suffered a little while ago. She'd think of something, the White Queen told herself. Worst case scenario, she could spend a lot more time in her diamond form until they found a way to get rid of whatever it was she had... if she had something to begin with. There was still a chance it was something inoffensive, the blond thought, trying to quiet down the voice inside her had that just had remembered someone mentioning one of her grandfathers had died of cancer.
Emma looked at Tony and raised an eyebrow. It was a black and yellow suitcase. Men were clearly color-dumb. "If you were going for subtlety, I'm sorry to tell you yellow was the wrong choice. You're lucky most people here have more important things to worry about than your luggage." Emma informed. "Are you planning to leave with style or just going for a ride to kill the time?" She asked out of curiosity, unable to figure why else he'd need his suit while hospitalized. Anyway, the idea seemed interesting enough to get a half-smile out of her.
"Hmm... let's see. I'm a businesswoman, a teacher, and X-Men... oh and I don't do sharing. Please, catch up, darling." Emma wondered if there was something else behind his question, like maybe he knew... but why would he use his influence to run a background check on her now? He didn't seem to have done that when things were iffy. "There is a way around your wasp of a suitcase, though." Emma said with a self-sufficient smile. Then waited to see if Tony was interested enough to ask.

It was true though that he and Magneto had been through some rough ones. The two were so similar in some parts of their personality it was eerie to the genius when he thought about it. There was one thing that Tony would never come to be as he refused to one day be a tyrant like the fiend that he was. The last bad event that happened with Magneto while Tony had been present was the hospital meeting with Xavier before his supposed death. The two almost ended up fighting in it before they were stopped before anything got broken and Magneto departed. Still there was something that frightened to him to this day and didn’t understand why Magneto didn’t do it to him just then and there. He could have ended it so easily for the genius that his death would have been a fast one before he knew what happened.
“Tsk tsk,” Tony said in disapproval of what she had to say about Magneto being senile. The Avengers would be more concerned about a threat coming their way with the old man but he did recognize the humor in her voice. “Now we heroes are going to have to tell the civilians to lock their doors at night and assure them that we’ll do their job while they can’t even get a minute’s worth of sleep, worrying about villains like Magneto going insane. The Avengers I assure you kept him busy. But there was something odd that happened towards the end when I blacked out. But would a person like you be interested in what I had to say?” Tony asked wondering if Emma would indeed be interested about his out of body experience that he had earlier. A girl that he met when he first woke up in the hospital two days ago by the same last name, and from the assumption could have been related. She confirmed that Emma was her mother but did she know that? Violet gave a very detailed explanation on how it was possible that Tony’s mind had breached another world with the help of his father’s spirit. But he doubted it’d be that easy trying to regain access into that world. He’d be easier with another task at hand in getting his metal out of his chest with Magneto.
“I know it’s a bit hard to understand, I’m surprised some of the avengers aren’t standing beside my hospital room door to try and keep me out from escaping. Jarvis failed at keeping me from doing a little stunt earlier too.” Tony said with a chuckle towards his AI who seemed to be silent at the time. It was clear he was not letting go of his little stunt that he did earlier after detecting Tony’s heart rate going up quite a bit when it was performed. Weell it was to be expected. “I’ll just be glad to be home by the weekend when this is all over and feel better in familiar areas. It just makes no sense that Stark Industries doesn’t have his boss around at the time.” However he stopped when Emma had noticed his suit case. Did she really disapprove of it? Well it didn’t matter what one woman thought of his suit. He had about a hundred of them back home that were painted in different styles and maybe one of those would catch her eyes.
“Yellow probably wasn’t the best choice to a super suitcase, if that’s what you mean. But it looks a lot better on the armor when that is out. Trust me.” He gave her a soft smile as if to assure her that he knew what he was doing. Plus if he wanted a color change he’d have to sneak back into his lab in order to do that when the Avengers had their backs turned. Right now he couldn’t easily get out that easily because all the nurses had eyes on him like hawks. If it had gotten worse Cap or Hawkeye would have probably chained him down with a handcuff to the bed that was now his home for a few days while they were checking him. “Well I figured that it was just a time for a change on talking about something else rather than me for a change….and what do you exactly mean there’s a different way?” Tony asked as he raised a brow towards the blonde. He had to admit Mrs. Frost was a pretty woman but he was nowhere near close into becoming something like he was with Yuki. The red head stole his modified heart on the first day that he met her. And now, he couldn’t believe it that he was getting married within due time.

The White Queen didn't have much in common with Magneto nowadays, but they had worked together for several years and she knew how his mind worked, not only because she was a mind-reader, but because of the long time they had been in the same fraction. She was a good judge of character all things considered and had always paid especial attention to everyone who could be of interest to her, be it because they could be a potential threat or a possible... well not ally but tool perhaps and at that point in her life, Emma thought she knew what to expect from Magneto. Hearing that he had allowed his son to convince him of something that went against his personality did poke her curiosity. After all, it could all have been plotted from the beginning, staged to cover a more important operative going on somewhere else or a plot to make the X-Men and the Avengers trust Quicksilver so he could betray them later on his father's behalf. She had sensed just how desperate for paternal approval the mutant was in the past and she doubted he had changed significantly in that regard. So, where did that left her old boss? He was either senile or up to something. Emma didn't know which possibility she would prefer if she had to pick one. They both meant a lot of troubles and she had better things to worry about at the time... namely, herself.
Emma thought the conversation was going one direction and then Mr.Stark was talking about something odd and she got confused. Not for long. Tony's word-choice lacked some basic social skills as long as the blond was concerned. "What do you mean someone like me?" Emma asked not too pleased. There were so many bad things people said about her, she couldn't actually tell which one he was actually referring to. "And it would depend on whether or not it's relevant to me." She informed less pleasantly than before, still offended by the 'someone like her' comment. One would think the people you regularly do business with would at least be polite, she thought slightly outraged. The woman was known for saying some ugly truths quite bluntly, but she still believed that a certain level of hypocrisy was to be maintained in order for a relationship to thrive. Not that she was interested in having one with Tony Stark the multimillionaire womanizer, but things were different when it came to Mr.Stark, the president of Stark Industries. Frost Enterprises focused on developing technologies for everyday use and, even some that the military had found a better application for. Both companies didn't take care of the exact same niche, but they at least were in the same branch of the tree and that meant an exchange of ideas, parts, components and so on. Whatever differences the White Queen had with Ironman, they were put aside at the conference room.
Emma seemed a tad surprised to hear that he had tried to pull a stunt earlier and wondered if he had been too discreet in his new toy or she had been too distracted to even notice. She sympathized with him for like a second, before the man made it clear to her eyes that he had never learned to delegate tasks. Having a little trouble relinquishing power, Mr.Stark? She asked herself. "If the company has been built right, you could take an entire year off and find it still standing at your return." At least, that was what she believed and most of her college teachers and even her father had agreed with Emma on that one. "Maybe it's time to learn how to delegate." But then, she remembered the Avengers had brought him to a regular hospital, not his sick bay. If his employees were anything like his friends, maybe he was right in wanting to be orchestra-man and handling all by himself. It was what she did after all, even if the woman wasn't anywhere near ready to admit something like that. Her defense was that she did delegate from time to time... only when she didn't have a chance, but she still did.
Emma gave him a half-smile. "Oh, right. I forgot you were all about the looks." She teased, from a superficial millionaire to another. "Didn't you read the memo? Frost Enterprises is presenting a nano-paint that can change colors when electrically charged." Emma announced with a note of pride. After all, she had been working on that project personally. It didn't take a huge amount of electricity to make the change happen, only a micro charge that the human body couldn't feel. The military had already placed a huge order for God only knew what obscure purpose and SHIELD seemed interested in it too. She didn't read that file yet. "Well, if you're out of the hospital by the weekend come and see for yourself. Frost Enterprises is making a demonstration at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center." Emma informed.

"Of course that's always an option. But still I can't just leave my team twice in one month." Tony said knowing that it was true. If he wanted to take the time off he would have given a warning plus after the recent event it just didn't seem fair to him or the others. Also he had a little catching up to do to when it came to his fiancé. He was surprised that Yuki wasn't here just yet and he was starting to wonder if he put on too much on her plate. Either that or something else had come up and she was going to tread on her own pat. Tony did recall Yuki saying something about a danger that was coming but he had assured her that they had her back no matter what the case. He at least hoped that she'd be around at some point for a reunion.
"Unfortunately where I was a couple of days ago I didn't get the memo. Magneto doesn't exactly have a decent mail carrying system." Tony said with a soft shrug. The truth was he didn't exactly have much communication after being held back on Genosha. There wasn't any technology either that Tony could use that would have been needed in order to contact his family. "Well that does sound pretty interesting and useful when you mention it. Changing and fixing Ironman armor takes several hours and that could cut it down to a matter of minutes." Tony said knowing that it was certainly going to be useful. One of the examples that came to mind was his war machine armor and as well as the Iron Patriot armor. Of course it could also do him some good with his suitcase problem also. As for the demonstration Tony would indeed be out in time and see if he could drag anyone who was willing to go with him.
"You're in luck that I'm not going to be in this hospital forever. I'll be out by the weekend. That is if I find a way to sneak back into my own building, it might be faster." Tony said partially kidding but had considered it when he had first woken up. No doubt Hawkeye and Cap managed to figure it out first before anyone else did on the team. And knowing him he wouldn't exactly be able to get in that easily until the hospital let him out. "I'll be there Emma. And you should definitely be proud for that accomplishment." Tony said. "Jarvis can you put that on my calendar so I don't forget." Tony asked his AI as the computer finally spoke up. "Of course sir. It's been noted." Jarvis said back to his creator. One thing that did strike Tony is that he had noticed that Emma was in the hospital. Of course with some women there were two things that they were never going to tell him or others, their age and weight. It was clear that Emma was filled with many more secrets than just those two things. If she didn't want to tell him that was fine as well.
However just as Tony and Emma were speaking back and forth he couldn't help but feel that something wasn't right. It was a gut feeling that he had been relying on ever since his stay with Magneto. The power suddenly started to flicker and other people there were starting to notice as they looked up at the lights as they slowly dimmed and it wasn't long before they went out in the hospital as Tony was stunned that something like this would happen at such a place. Some of the residents in the hospital needed power to stay on and stay alive because if it. It'd be the end of their lives if it wasn't. "That is not good." Tony said as he heard some of the people starting to scream and he knew that it wasn't for his appearance being there as he heard heavy crashing noises coming from one of the hospital. "Whatever's here knows how to trash the place. Frost we might need to lend a hand in here." Tony said as he took his suit and placed it on his back as it began to take form from the suitcase to the armor that everyone knew him as. The other part that he didn't have to worry about was a secret identity but the other Avengers and Jarvis would be yelling at him for getting into his suit yet again. But for crying out loud there were lives on the line here.

(OOC: I'll pretend Emma didn't say that so she doesn't get mad at Tony for something he didn't really do IC "Yeah, we all know you have control issues, Mr.Stark, but after what you've told me, I don't blame you." Emma said in her usual snarky tone, though she did feel kinda sorry for him, in the meaning that she wouldn't trade places with him for anything in the world. One would think that a man intelligent enough to create a miniature arc reactor like he did would be smart enough to surround himself of the right people, those capable of stepping up if he was unable to take care of things himself as it was bound to happen at some time because he was as human as the next person. She had her very own control issues, so she kind of understood that, but at least Emma had had the good sense of picking competent people to work with her. She wouldn't have been able to take Frost Enterprises to where it was today without working a lot of people halfway to death. Her life was too busy first as a member of the Hellfire Club and then, as an X-Man. And, speaking of that, she wouldn't have joined that team if she thought the other members would take her to a hospital if she had the same kind of issues Tony did, that was for sure. His joke earned a half smile from Emma, who told herself another joke about old people and technology regarding her previous one about Magneto getting senile. The White Queen stared at Tony Stark for a long moment, trying to figure out if he was still too shaken from his experience to understand she was only talking about paint that changed colors when charged with a little electricity or the man had such a beautiful mind, he already thought a way to modify the concept she had just mentioned to make something more complex that would indeed help him change the way his Ironman suit worked in less time than it took right now. The woman suppressed a shiver at the idea that the second was true. "I am, thanks." Emma said with a self-pleased smile. It had taken some serious hard work to discover that technology and she had been very involved personally in the process, which had meant long working hours even after even longer training sessions with the team or even coming home all sore and bruised from a mission only to take a quick shower and change into her civilian clothes so she could go to work. "Maybe you and your fiancee would like to join the scientific team and other special guests at the party afterwards." She invited. After all, a lot other public personalities would be there and it would be wrong of her not to invite him personally since they had run into each other and considering he didn't have time to read the news, he probably would get the invitation the following month or something. On her side of things, Emma had felt a nagging little feeling at the back of her head, in the area where she usually blocked all that annoying background noise that was the thoughts of those around her. She didn't pay much attention to it at first because she was busy talking to Tony and because she had a meeting after that, but when the lights flickered and the feeling of people's fear and distress started to leak into her consciousness she got alert as well and looked around with both her eyes and her mind, trying to find the source of the problem. Maybe if there was someone behind it she could pick up that person's mind and they'd have some intel on the enemy. "I'm already on it." She said still combing the very crowded place in search of the only few minds that didn't distillate panic. It was like trying to walk in the water, pushing the useless fearful thoughts aside to advance and get to other minds to single out whoever was behind all that. (OOC: And since it's your villain I didn't add anything else because I've no idea what you've got on mind, but it sounds promising)

“I’m sure once I get back home, have warm food and as well as some actual time getting back on my old schedule that will probably change and I’ll calm down. Getting out of routine for some people could drive them crazy; I think I’m starting to fall into that category.” Tony said hating to sound like he hated to admit it but it was true. He missed home and being surrounded by the Avengers. But unlike Emma he didn’t really have much of a choice on who he was with because Fury pretty much handed him the Avengers File and he was joining it as the SHIELD director saw a leader in Tony as he had shared it for years now with Captain America. Well, there were other teams that Tony was a part of such as the Illuminati but they had not been assembled for some time. He saw Xavier and Dr. Strange from time to time, but the other members seemed to have gone back into darkness and out of sight. It was a shame that the Illuminati were up in the air right now so who knew exactly what happened to the other members. Either way, it couldn’t be helped, it was more likely that Tony was probably going to die being an Avenger and on his last breath he wanted it to be worth awhile.
“Of course, I’ll see if my Fiancée has a free slot in her schedule. But right now we need to worry about who cut off the power to the hospital. People could die without it.” Tony said back to Emma as he flew through the building to see where this problem was coming from. No doubt someone was messing with the power and so many people needed it to live and that was horrible news to come across. They had a race against time and he was at least glad Emma was helping out. If anything, he’d have to call in the Avengers for this. As Tony flew forward something like a sharp blast came in his direction as he dodged it out of the way as it created a huge hole in the ceiling near him as pieces crumbled, but luckily there was no one in the way so Tony didn’t have to panic about civilians that were there.
“Ah dear man of tin, I thought you would be appearing at some point.” The voice said as Tony looked back to see a monster. But it was nothing like the one that you would expect from movies, he didn’t have anything like those attributes that you’d expect. He looked normal, but Tony was not convinced that this was anything good as he began to alert Emma on what he found. It was Loki the god of trickery. What was a man like him doing here and causing problems? Well for one he had already done a great job at managing to terrify people out of their wits for appearing there. Many had learned in the past that Loki was someone to fear. “Loki stand down, now. You know you’re not welcomed on Earth.” Ironman said as he had his hand raised exposing the area on his palm that would send the repulsor ray in his direction.
“Make me. I don’t see dear Thor around and I barely see you as a threat. Didn’t that Master of Magnetism already subdue you or was I imagining that? If that is the case, then I suspect that you are hardly a threat. Unless… you have…Others to aid you.” Loki said with a grin as Tony realized he was probably doing something foolish. Only Thor knew Loki the most and this was probably going to end badly. He’d end up in the hospital again. “You’re right that I was a fool but I’m not exactly alone.” He said as he called in for Emma “Emma I could use a bit of help. Loki’s here.” He said as Loki began to charge his scepter ready for a fight as it glowed a deep blue as it charged for power. Tony braced himself as he expected that this was not going to end well as a blast of bright blue power hit Tony in the chest just above his arch reactor as he hit the wall beside him. “You’re going to have to do better than that midgardian.”
Ooc: Apologize if I am very rusty/not good with or on Loki. I don’t play him all that much, so I probably won’t use Shakespearian speech all that well. Plus it’s hard to understand to begin with. xD
