Emma had been in a horrible mood lately. The woman appeared to be on edge and the slightest provocation seemed to make her lose her temper. Her excuse was that anyone would be as upset as she was if two of her students had decided to quit school and go missing. That was bad enough in a regular school with regular students, but for mutants it was even worse. There was always another faction looming, waiting for the right opportunity to recruit the young runaways or worse, kidnap them, torture them and use them as leverage to get the other faction to do their bidding. Emma had all the right to be upset, especially since both incidents happened almost together and under the supervision of one of the persons she disliked the most.
Jean Grey had decided to go after one of the girls on her own accord, even though it wasn't her responsibility or her mistake to correct in the first place, but Emma didn't care. Since that woman was involved, she'd take a back seat and hope for the best. Not because she trusted Scott's ex corpse bride, but because she didn't want to get inside her head all the time to see how she was doing. Ms.Frost knew her students well and if there was something the runaway student and the redhead was that they were all sentimental mush and no logic to back it up, so she figured Jean actually had a better chance of getting through to the girl than she would. Emma knew she wouldn't be as forgiving or understanding and, honestly? She didn't have the patience either. If they wanted out, then too bad for them and hopefully they wouldn't end up dead. As someone who had escaped from several places and organizations during her life, the White Queen knew those who didn't want to return somewhere just didn't. But since the school policy was all about being touchy feely and sugar coating the reality for students, well she had to make sure the rules were followed, and that was why she was sitting on the girl's bed, keeping mental tabs on her to see when she was coming up to her bedroom.
She hadn't spend the last few days there waiting for them, of course. In the beginning, she had used cerebra to locate the girl and then kept a vague mental tab on her every now and then, then, when Lance started to get close, she thought it was better to check on him and now, she was just waiting for her to go to her bedroom so she could have a long unpleasant chat with the girl.

Sarah found herself really tried after the last few days. Frist the long trip on the train she had snuck on and then the battle that had taken place there.. And then the small fight she had with Lance when he found her and the long trip back on the jet. witch Sarah slept through most of the time. When they landed Sarah was greeted by her friends who where happy to see her again and gald she was ok. She would have loved to tell them everything but she just wanted to go to her room and rest a little. She then left Lance and her friends and started to make her way back to her room. Though when she got there she was going to get a unpleasant surprise.. " It feels so good to be back.. I missed everyone.. Well almost everyone..." Sarah said as she thought of Emma and frowned a little. She really did not like that woman at all even more so after the day Magneto came over to the school.. Sarah then shook her head and sighed as she came to her door. She opened it stepping inside not noticing she had a unwelcomed quest in her room. When she looked over at her bed Sarah froze as her eyes grew wide. "Frost...." Sarah said in shock but it soon passed a she frowned and glared over at older woman. Sarah had a idea why she was here.. Though Sarah was not scared at all more angry and annoyed if anything. "Lets get this over with shall we?" Sarah said as she sat down on Taji's bed that was on the opposite side of her own bed that Emma was sitting on.

Since Emma was keeping tabs on Sarah's mind, she knew the girl was coming and her face went from rest to anger. Running away was bad enough but not having the courage to stick to one's decision and letting someone persuade you to come back was even worse in her eyes. Of course, she had to follow the school rules and send after the girl, but that didn't mean she wanted her there. Not unless Sarah proved to her she had what it took to survive. So far, Emma wasn't impressed and learning what Sarah thought of her didn't precisely put her in a friendlier mood.
"It's professor Frost or Miss Frost to you." Emma corrected her, less impressed than before. "If you want to live here, you have to abide by the rules, Miss Hideki." Emma said coldly. "All of them."

Sarah stared at Emma with a slight glare, it was her fault somewhat that she had ran away in the first place... Her emotions where getting the better of her, Lance was leaving and Magneto was there along with his goon who hurt a fellow student.. If Course Sarah would go off on Magneto and his goon. She did not care of Emma had ordered all students to head back inside.. She was going to stand up for her friend no matter what. " I believe this is the first time I have done something like Miss. Frost.. I don't normally break the rules.. And I don'y plan to do so again." Sarah said to the older mutant. Unlike most Sarah did not fear Emma, she was powerful and a teacher yes.. But she also knew The Professor would not let her do anything... Unlike Emma it seemed all the other teachers where understanding. Sarah looked at Emma and could tell she was angry. But Sarah was not going to back down. She had made her choices, rather they where good or bad she was going to stand by what she did.. As it help more then she thought it would.. The people she met and helped before Lance found her. It was going to make her even stronger in the long run.

For a moment, Emma pretended to be searching her memories to see if that was true and finally gave the girl a curt nod, her icy blue eyes still fixed on her student's. She didn't want to know what she thought. That would have been as easy as getting inside the girl's head. Emma wanted to see what portion of what she thought, Sarah was showing on the outside. She wanted to know if the girl was capable of self-control.
"That might solve things with the other teachers, but I expected a lot more than that from you, Miss Hideki." Emma explained calmly but coolly. "You shouldn't have come back." She said straightforward. "I don't care if you decide to stay or run away. It's your life after all. However, not thinking things through before acting is both disrespectful and suicidal." The blond went on.
Emma knew she didn't care about what the girl thought of her. She was going to tell Sarah anyway because it was her responsibility as a teacher. "The next time you feel suicidal, please don't bother coming back. There is a two year waiting list full of people who really want to learn to defend themselves and survive in this world for us to be wasting time and resources in someone who doesn't value that opportunity." After that, the White Queen stood up, more than ready to leave the room but willing to give the girl a chance to show that she wasn't completely worthless after all.

Sarah stayed silent as Emma started to go on a rant, and when Emma said she should not have gone back she gave no reaction. Fine that was her opinion.. The other teachers and students where glad she was back safe and sound.. But when she really thought about it this was Emma's way of saying she cared even if it not seem like it.. And most others would have gotten angry but Sarah stayed calm as Emma went on. When she was done Sarah stood up when Emma headed for the door. "All I can say I'm sorry. It was a bad mistake on my part but also something good came out of it." Sarah said calmly as she looked over at Emma. "I do know the meaning of this school.. The teachers here have helped me so much your right it was disrespectful I was not thinking clearly. But I'm also glad I did..." Sarah said as she then started to think about Firo and his train.. If she had not been there people could have been badly hurt or killed..
" While I was out there I saved a train full of people. I know the dangers Miss Frost. Being alone out there helped me see what I can do but also realize I need my team. My friends, and that I still have many things to learn. I will work harder to be a better and stronger person... Someone my late father could be proud of and someone my Mother can be proud of... Though I will most likely still make mistakes but that is all apart of growing up. I can't guarantee I will be perfect... But I will never ever give up..." Sarah said though she had a feeling Emma would not care much about her little speech. But it was all true and now that she was back Sarah was going to work harder then ever to reach her dream.

Emma was impressed with the way Sarah had taken her scolding. She hadn't made a face or tried to interrupt and complain as many stupid students had tried in the past. At least she had learned something in her time with her. Even if it was a thing or two about manners. Still, she didn't let any of that show. The girl needed to learn to be responsible for her actions or she'd end up dead and Emma had dealt with enough students deaths to want to repeat the experience. "Yes. I was debriefed. You were lucky. Do yourself a favor and don't count on that happening again. A lot of people could have ended up killed because of you just as easily."
A part of her thought that if the kid meant half of what she had said, at least one could say that the experience had truly been constructive. Not that she wouldn't have preferred a smarter student who didn't just up and ran whenever they disagreed with an order from a teacher. "It's a start." The blonde conceded. "If you want some advice: it is yourself you should make proud." Emma said with the same detached tone she used to teach. Then, she started to walk towards the door.
