It had been awhile since Anya had stepped into the main lands. She had been here some time ago facing off her two brothers Horus and Pietro in a fight that ended up causing her to loose. But she was more on her own this time to get away from Genosha, at least for a day or two. Anya had bee wearing casual clothing to try and fit in, but no doubt she missed her uniform the most. It made her who she was. Magneta the mistress of Magnetism had a nice ring to it. Back in Genosha it was clear that her father needed her, but she just wanted off the island for a bit before she returned. Her white hair was behind her as she had it down passed her shoulders. Her suit was packed in what appeared to be a simple back pack behind her as she went. If anything, she looked normal-well her white hair was a bit unusual but that seemed to be something that ran in the family as far as she knew. Her brother Pietro, had obtained that gene trait to have silver hair, and her father had it as well. Her hair had originally been brown before she was resurrected from the dead. Already she could see how different things had been since those days when everything was not so technological. Boy how times had changed since then.
She walked up to one of the stands outside that seemed to be flocking with some of the inlanders who were paying for it. But one person seemed to be lacking money and ended up stealing some of the food. It was clear that they were not going to pay for the food as they started to run and she saw that this was a clear sign that something bad was about to happen. Brushing past her two thugs had spotted the thief for stealing food and she decided to go after them. She raced after the two thugs who seemed to have bats with them ready to clobber the poor person out of their mind. Once they raced down an ally way she began to follow after them as fast as she could. Finally she put on her helmet seeing that Magneta was needed again as she quickly dressed while running-which might you add was not easy down an ally way.
Once she came towards the ending area she saw the two thugs that were there on the other end about ready to beat the person as she came over. With one raise of her had ready to strike the men when it was needed. It was clear they hadn't spotted her yet as they were ready to strike the other person who cowered away in the corner of the alley. "Pay up punk that food isn't exactly free anymore! Or we'll beat the snot out of you." The bigger one said as he let out a scary laugh. "But I don't have any money on me please, I'm just a helpless person." He said in a begging voice. "Why don't you pick on someone that can actually fight." Anya said as she started to use her magnetism and broke some of the railings off on the fire escape as she wrapped them around the two men with ease as they were held against the ground. They began to struggle under the grip as if someone incredibly strong held them down at this rate. But it was clear that another force was at work here. She had the strength from her father who was Magneto after all.
"Wh-Who are you?" The second thug asked as he was starting to shake out of fear. It was was clear not all woman were considered that scary. But Anya could certainly be that person when the time was right. "I have many names but everyone knows me as Magneta." She said as she sent them flying into the nearby wall and levitated in place as she held them there suspended in the air. SHe wasn't about not let them go any time soon. It was certain that she was more for the helpless poor person who was on the other end of the ally way. She looked back at him and spoke, "You can go, now I have them taken care of." She said as he seemed to stunned to move.

Blake yawned softly as he sat partly crouched on a roof top corner, his crimson eyes surveying the area below of what made up the Red Light District. During the day it really wasn't so bad, but when night fell that was when people had to look out and keep an eye on their surroundings as no one ever knew what could happen or who might be lurking. The day though it was usually calm and rarely much crime happened out in the open or someone like Blake had to look out for it. Of course, some could consider him a villain since he was a founder of the new Dark avengers who had long been viewed as villains, today was no different in recent activities and they were making a growing reputation as a team to be looked out for. But there were days the team had its own times of where they were doing their own thing or busy when they weren't being their villainous selves, which was rather nice often.
Though this pleasant peace was broke by a commotion down below, making the vampiric neyaphem stand at the sound of two angry people chasing another, someone accused of thievery it seemed. Curious as he was Blake almost allowed the men to handle justice for themselves since he couldn't exactly interfere with every little thing that went wrong. Perhaps the thief did it for a good reason, maybe for just the wicked pleasure of causing pain for himself. It seemed a rather precarious situation that the young man didn't want to bother anyone with and went back to crouching again. But his eyes soon caught the sight of a woman chasing after the two men with the bats, her hair being quite unusual in that it was silver, which seemed a little odd for someone who looked rather young. Now this seemed to make things interesting in a civilian going to probably help the man who stole the food. Though that was when Blake did a double take as he noticed Anya removing something from her pack, something that was colored in a familiar way to a well known former terrorist mutant, the mutant known as Magneto.
Did this mean this woman was perhaps a mutant herself then? Perhaps shaping her image like that of Magneto, or was she the infamous Magneta that had her own growing reputation? Intrigued Blake quickly decided pursue this little situation, leaping across buildings or leaping from side to side to keep pace with the running people until he came to an alleyway and watched the entire event unfold in front of him. Watching the use of her powers Blake was quite sure there was no doubt she very much shaped herself after Magneto and might confirm who he expected this woman to be.
After a bit of watching though the young Dark Avenger decided to make his presence known as he silently crawled along the wall before using his tail end to curl around a support to a part of the fire escape so he could hang upside down. "Quite the impressive display Ms.Magneta, your reputation precedes you I must say. Though the rumors don't lie either about your beauty and bravery either." Blake spoke up from a little ways behind them, having his arms crossed as he watched now to see what her next move would be.

It was true to say that Anya had liked to cause mayhem as well. Especially after what her father had said she managed to understand the pain and suffering that he had gone through. She had been a witness to it when she was younger, in her teenage years before her powers kicked in her resurrection. But who was to say that she could not do what her father had always wanted to do? Cause mayhem for the ones who always hurt the weaker members of society like the mutants. It was clear that things were not always going to be fair as she started to see her father’s view come into play. People were never treated properly anymore and never had been.
As she was done with the thieves she turned back as she heard a voice and looked over to see who arrived. At first, she thought it was another enemy but she had recognized the man from somewhere. When Magneta had been doing her research about the Dark Avengers, the very same person had come up more than once. From what she knew about him, he was part vampire so she had to be careful unless she wanted to get bitten, but since he knew who she was it might be too dangerous for him to attack her. “Why thank you, my father has taught us all well at the Brotherhood. We are known for our skills and powers. We are nothing After all, Magneto was her father and loosing another family member would probably outrage the man. “Are you the one that goes by Blake Rio?” She asked looking back at him.
“You probably are a bit surprised on why I know you by your real name. My brotherhood members have been asking about possibly putting an alliance together. After all we both seem to hate the Avengers.” Anya explained wondering of Blake would take the offer or wait to see what the rest of the Dark Avengers would say. They all had to admit teams like the Avengers and the X-Men were getting too annoying as far as she could tell. The white haired woman couldn’t even understand why her two twin siblings had tried to even join them. There was no interest from her there for trying to help heroes who were only there to make a name for themselves. They just simply were a bunch of fools who were ether to high of themselves or only cared about themselves.
She waited patiently to see what Blake thought as she had taken off her helmet. IT was similar to her father’s helmet in where it prevented telepaths from reaching her mind. But with this she was causing her mind to be open to those if they wanted to take a look into what she had. They’d find nothing but innocence in her mind so far. And she was telling the truth about wanting to create an alliance. The saying went, the greater the odds, the greater the chance that they would win. The brotherhood couldn’t take a heavy loose like they just recently did in loosing Tony Stark.

So that explained a lot not only about the powers but also her choice in wardrobe. If Magneto was her father Blake found it only natural one of his children might take on a similar theme to him, but this woman seemed different than the twins or Lorna Dane. So it was quite a curiosity to him who she might be in relation to the infamous mutant. "Yes, you seem to be well versed in your powers Magneta that much I can say, seems Magneto is a rather good teacher." He said to her before he gripped the railing below him and released his tail from the other to flip down and landing on the concrete below, brushing himself off a bit but seemed a little surprised she knew who he was, exactly down to the name which meant she might know he wasn't your every day mutant. "That would be me, but how did you know?" He asked until she began to explain it.
Though her explanation was what really shocked him, and it was quite visible in his usually calm, emotionless face. "An alliance you say? This would be a first for the history books." He said as he rubbed his chin, considering the options they had. It wouldn't exactly be too unusual, most of the Dark Avengers were mutants of some sort though one mostly an alien and Barney was human. It would be an alliance no one would have expected. "I'd say why not? The rest of my team might agree to such a thing since we have had a hard time ourselves with these heroes. Doesn't exactly help that we're small too." He said to her but watched as she removed her helmet.
"Also you won't have to worry of wearing your helmet nor your father, neither of us are telepaths or use psychic attacks. In fact, I control solar energy and lunar energy so your pretty safe." Blake said as he showed first an orange glow around one hand before it disappeared and the other hand glowed silver and soon disappeared like the first. "I can't control both at the same time unless it's an eclipse of some kind but I can guarantee you all of us have something we can give. Barney Barton is also pretty skilled so I think you guys made the right call for an alliance." Blake explained to her as he looked at her and actually smiled. "But I must say, think it was my lucky day to meet one of the pretty members of the Brotherhood, makes it less worrying for someone who might be a little competitive." He told her honestly.

"He is a very good teacher." Magneta agreed knowing that he taught many of the young Brotherhood members how to fight and defend themselves if they ever had a conflict with humans or other mutants that threated them badly. Magneta may look like a weak girl at first when she didn't have her costume on but when she did things certainly changed for her and for the better. She was threatening much like Malice did when she had her fake disguises of pretty girls to attract some of the enemies in and then unsuspectingly struck them down. She was just like her mother in everyway and as for Magneta, she was just like her father when it came to his powers.
"I could agree with that one. Not too often where villains tend to team up. The past Dark Avengers never did from what I know, and if it did, the alliance probably wasn't a long one." Magneta said as she ooked back at Blake as she spoke to him. When he said that she could take off her helmet now it seemed like it was mostly out of habit that she wore it. Of course it could have been for other reasons too. There might have ben someone possibly watching it. But this could be a chance for them to extend their trust further if she took off her helmet. So with that she brought her red gloved hands forward and lifted it as she exposed white hair that her brother Pietro and as well as her father had in their days. "Besides I think we may finally have a chance on stopping the Avengers. They may have strength and their smarts but we at least have things that they can't overcome. Our younger heroes may have the stamina and ability to defeat them. Of course, lots of planning will be involved I imagine in our days to come." She said with a soft nod to Blake.
"Hm that's a very interesting group of powers that you have there." Anya said as she looked back at Blake as he demonstrated his powers to him. He created an orange glow that appeared and then a silver one appeared in replacement of the orange ball. And she gave him a soft smile when he completed his demonstration. "I've heard of him that archer. His archery skills could be of use to us one day when we need him." Anya said with a soft nod after it was clear that she had done her research about the Dark Avengers before coming onto shore. But she had to admit she didn't know to many members of the older Dark Avengers, some of them have gone off the maps and into hiding.
Though she gave him a soft wink when Blake spoke up about her being one of the pretty girls on the brotherhood, "Please don't let our looks be everything Blake. I do assure you that some of us tend to have a rather fierce bite. Like my Brotherhood ally Malice. You wouldn't want to tangle with her since she's just like her mother Mystique." She said knowing it was true. Magneto had picked many of the strongest and willing members to come forward and make sure that they are strong.

"Indeed, I guess the rumors are true to some extent about Magneto and Professor X, they do share a passion to teach the younger generations. Somehow I think their legacies will never die whether they are to pass or not." Blake observed. Much like many in the mutant community it was really no secret Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr had been good friends and to some extent shared some views regardless of their splitting up so long ago and that would surely continue on in Magneto's children and Xavier's students. It was kind of ironic though that he had overheard on some occasions how good of a teacher the X-men founder was and now hearing how Magneto was himself.
Though as Anya went on about the alliance Blake couldn't recall any mention of alliances either for the first incarnation of Dark Avengers. Barney himself had never mentioned it either, but he had remembered the archer mentioning most of the members had not been so nice. "I think it is a wonderful idea to have the alliance Magneta, and something that'll blindside our enemies. I doubt even the X-men would expect this." Blake agreed with a smile as he was certain the woman in front of him had to be considering them as well. "I do have to admit though it is quite the shame the two hero teams could attack the Brotherhood without even trying some diplomacy at first to get Stark back. Seems they are the types to do so, has me wondering of the young X-men are getting more aggressive by the day rather than take on the more talkative way of things." He added as it was clear there was a bit of a quirk to Blake Rio instead of your typical villain. Whether or not Magneta knew everything it was quite obvious now from Blake's statement and he knew he'd have to mention those quirks, especially to his teammates.
Obviously that might be a good thing to mention here. "Though while I think about that you should know I do have a slight quirk. You see I serve as a bounty hunter usually as a side job when I'm not doing much for my team but those I usually try to avoid are women, younger teens, and children unless they are truly a threat. Anyone above eighteen though usually are fair game for me. Call it the old 'Code of Honor' if you will." Blake explained knowing this was rare for villains these days. For others it usually might not matter if they were women and children they sometimes were targets and casualties and this often angered the vampiric mutant but often he could easily hide this behind a mask of emotionless expressions and execute kills and attacks without showing the slightest hint of emotion. Many could view it as cold-hearted or cruel but it was how he worked. It was something he inherited from his father while inheriting his mother's more kinder, tender heart at times when it called for it.
A smile came to his lips though, not quite minding how vicious the women and young girls of the Brotherhood could be. "Well I think I can say us Dark Avengers have a nasty bite of our own, wait until you meet Hyacinth." Blake said with a soft grin as he knew despite his literal fatal bite the moody cat alien had literally a lethal bite in a true sense and attitude. Though with such things aside he offered a hand to Magneta as an offer to perhaps just walk and talk, to further talk of their planned alliance and maybe he could know more about her and the Brotherhood. "Walk with me my dear lady, I am quite curious to know more about the Brotherhood, least what you can tell me, and maybe know a bit more about the beauty I speak with." He said politely with a warm smile.

"The Avengers probably won't see it coming either. We've been having a lot of issues with them recently and I'm tired of them being the goody too shoes heroes that they are. I'm sure you understand yourself, your group has porbably been rivaling with them since the first incarnation of the Dark Avengers." Anya said as she put her gloved hands together around her helmet. It had exposed her white hair the very same hair that her father and her brother Pietro had. Of course his had been a bit more in the silver category if anything. Her helmet had the famous M for both Magneto, representing her father and as well as her self for M of Magneta.
"I've heard of the code of honor, you somewhat remind me of a knight in shining armor, you know the ones that you often hear form those stories. They don't harm children or younger members of the family. But there are other women in the Brotherhood who just are as nasty to when it comes to fighting. LIke Mystique's daughter Malice." Anya said with heavy complements towards Blake. She didn't seem to mind at all on what he was doing, the brotherhood however were not going to be happy here if they figured out that one of their men had been missing. It in fact was probably not even wise to try and strike someone like Mystique or Sabertooth. It was clear that Magneto had obviously wanted to bring some powerful powerhouses into the Brotherhood.
"Hm she sounds interesting." Anya said with a soft smile as she wanted to learn a bit more on this team. The last time any information had been on them was when they had disbanded. And the Dark Avengers had been just like the Avengers, well at least mimicking the Avengers with their power and strength. But not many of the former Dark Avengers were around. Perhaps this would be an advantage to find out more. After all she could play the hard to get girl right about now. "Of course I wouldn't mind a walk. It seems that things are taken care of here." She added as she began to lead the way with Blake to see where they'd walk. She didn't seem to mind if it was broad daylight.
Though she had a bright smile and a bit of a smirk to it. She knew that the other mutant haters would probably not want to be in the view of them while they traveled. Either that they might've been a bit too over the edge with her powers. Yes she too was a powerhouse, but who was to say they knew one of her weaknesses, like the helmet. For now though she was going to enjoy this walk not caring what others thought of her. She was after all, holding the title of Magneto's daughter, and she was here on behalf of him and her other members of the Brotherhood.

"The Avengers have always been a thorn in our sides, and not much we can really do since we're still very much a small team." Blake said as he recalled several times when they had tried to take them on and had not done so well. And there were many a time they've fought individually or rarely as a pair of two, making things difficult to work as a team. That was until the Circus of Crime came to town and despite Hyacinth and Barney trying to do it alone it had in the end required all four to participate and take them down as one. Maybe that was one of the first steps in them actually working as a team instead of solo like they were use to.
"I'd say I'm more on the side of being a corrupt knight my dear lady, being a knight in shining armor is hardly the correct reference." Blake told her as they began to walk, the daylight not even bothering him like most vampires. It was the benefit of being a half-vampire for some since the sunlight wasn't entirely as bothersome as it would be. "Though I will take great care not to overstep my boundaries. Alliances can be rather fickle, fragile things and doing so might break this little partnership we are attempting." He assured her, not really wanting to look for trouble but still couldn't say the same for all the rest of his team in the long run. This was especially so for Barney and Hyacinth who tended to be the most difficult ones on the team in the long run.
But the fact Anya seemed so interested in Hyacinth made him a little surprised yet at the same time not entirely. She was probably use to such people and how they acted so the feline alien might prove to be an asset to this alliance perhaps. "I think one piece of information that is going our way is we do have a bit of Stark's tech but our tech guy is still deciphering how it works entirely. So it's kind of a difficult situation to say when we might be able to understand more about how Tony Stark's technology works. That or we can end up using it to our advantage one of these days." He told her as they walked and ignored the stares they got. It likely was no doubt they were shocked to see the Mistress of Magnetism and a demon-looking man walking the streets as if they owned the place.
