Taji stood at the mouth of the cave. She had been here a while now and her wounds had healed. Jean would come by at times but Taji was still not ready to go back to the school. She had learned a lot about herself out here... And was no longer feared the dragon with in her. After finding out it just wanted to protect her. She know knew she could work together with it. And hopefully forever over come her past and stop going on rampaging fits... Though she did wonder how her friends where doing.. She did get word from Jean when she came over.. But she never heard anything about Horus.. Was he angry with her for running away in the first place? Or was he just to busy to notice? Ether way she did not blame him at all.. She was most likely just a bourdon to him anyway.. Though she had grown to love him.. In what way she was not sure. He had become like family and he did save her life. With a sigh Taji then left the cave to go out and hunt, one of the many skills she had learned when she was Sinister's slave more or less. Taji had set up some traps and also had a few hand made weapons like spears made of wood she had carved out with a sharp rock.
Soom Taji came to the traps and sure enough some animals where trapped inside. Taji then killed then quickly and returned to the cave and started to fix up her meal. She made a small fire and started to cook the meat. The smell of cooking meat started to fill the air and soon Taji started to eat. When she was done she started to clean up and with that finished left the cave again just to go on a small walk. It was peaceful out here besides the run ins with bears and wolves but Taji was always able to scare them off. No beast stand up to a dragon after all. Taji soon came to a clearing that had a amazing view, she then sat down as the wind picked up a little playing with her hair. Though she did not smile as she stared at the beauty around her.

Unfortunately Horus had noticed. He took note of it at first that she never came around to visit him in the infirmary when he was barely able to travel or move, which at first he thought the nurses were preventing it from happening but after a few weeks it seemed like they'd allow it now that some wounds had healed. Not to mention he had become a bit more mobile but still had a long healing process. When he didn't even see her around school and got word she had actually ran away it worried him that she might be hurt or maybe angry with him. His main concern was to find her but he had always been barred from doing so because of his condition but finally he had gotten a hold of Jean and asked her himself since it had been rumored she was the one going off so often to find the girl.
Finally after a long time of traveling Horus found the destination, the place where Taji might very well be hiding. Despite still being in rough shape from both spying on the Brotherhood causing his torture at the hands of Analisa and the brief fight with Sinister's henchmen it was luck that he was moving at all. His chest and sides were still bandaged on top of his left eye being covered and his shoulder bandaged and only one spot on his leg remained. Nevertheless he hobbled along, ignoring the pain as he had faced such pain before at Sinister's hands and tried to follow any scent he could, some of which had been faint. Only an hour in though he began to smell something like cooking making Horus hopeful that was Taji.
Still it took him another hour and a half to catch a fresher scent on the wind and he risked moving a bit faster despite the pain it put his body in. And flying was out of the question as they still were healing even slower than the rest of his body. After a short time of looking he saw the clearing ahead and relief washed over the draconic mutant once he saw the very person he had been looking for. "Taji!!"He called with joy and relief, moving surprisingly fast even with his injuries and gave the girl no time to react before he was embracing her.

Taji sat there for a little bit before standing up. She gave a sigh as she then started to head back to the cave. But then a voice she knew all to well called out her name. The young girl's eyes shot to the speaker as she then gasped with shock. It was Horus!! She could hardly believe her eyes! But before she could recover from her shock Horus then hugged her holding her close. At first Taji did not hug him back as she was still in shock that he was here. But on top of that he looked hurt. What had happened to him? Now she had many question's but she was guessing so did Horus.. Taji then hugged him back not even trying to resist as she was just so happy to see him again. Tears of joy started to form in her eyes. "Horus..." She said her voice cracking up a bit. After hugging him a few minutes she then pulled away looking him over at his bruised and beaten body. Whatever happened he sure went through a lot... He was hurt but yet here he was.. Though no words came to the young girl as she stared at Horus. She then looked down at the ground as she bit her lip and stared to rub her left arm. Unsure what to say.

After hugging her for a few minutes Horus finally let go, for the most part just glad he found Taji and that she was safe. It seemed she had certainly come a long way since that night he found her when she had been on the run from Sinister and his men. That was something he couldn't be more proud of in his life. "You had me worried sick Taji, I never thought you ran away until your absence became pretty clear when you didn't come visit in the infirmary. Not really suppose to be out here but I just had to know you were safe." Horus told her, gently wiping away some tears that had formed showing he wasn't angry with her only worried that something bad could had happened.
This was especially so when those men who were under the lunatic scientist's control came around. If they had captured Taji again they certainly would be seeing the wrath of a dragon full force. Nothing to the extent Taji could do but certainly close to it. Looking towards the view he seemed to relax a bit when he had been certain she truly was safe, "To be honest I got even more concerned that you might have been...captured. Some of Sinister's men came by looking to to hunt me down and found out they were after you as well so I just had to know you were safe." He said to her, knowing she must have ran away for a reason but the least he could do was tell her another primary reason he was here and that was above anything else to ensure she never faced that life of misery again.

Taji was over joyed to see Horus again but she was also worried he was angry with her. So she kept looking down at the ground unable to look at him. Though as he spoke he did not sound angry so she slowly started to look up at him again her eyes filed with tears. And soon he wiped a few away. She then gave a weak smile as she looked at Horus. "I.. I'm sorry... I.. I lost it on a school field trip... I had gotten shot and lost control so I fled here.." Was all Taji could say in her defense though it was not much. But Horus had to know the reason she had ran away. It was nothing to so with him or the school.. It was just her own weakness at the time. She then fell silent as Horus went on. When he spoke of the attack at the school her eyes grew wide as she started to go pale. What... Sinister's men attacked the school looking for Horus and her?? So they found out where she had been hiding oh god no where was safe.. Taji started to back up a little shaking her head. " He's knows.. Its only a matter of time before..." Taji said in a scared tone before going silent her body trembling like a leaf from the fear starting to grow within her now. But of course he would know... She had lost it in the middle of the city that day when she ran away. And lost it a few times before that.. This was all her fault... " Its all my fault.. All those times I lost control... He.. He must of felt it.. Oh god..." Taji said close to having a panic attack.

Looking at her with an understanding glance Horus only nodded, "It's alright Taji. I never got word of that but you won't be the first person to runaway when they think they've done something terribly wrong and think there's no other way. And you won't be the last." Horus told her as he had heard such stories many a time. "But you know none of the school blames you for that nor will they simply kick you out, mean if we did that for every student who lost control there wouldn't be much need for an academy." He joked lightly, hoping he could lighten the mood. Yet, that was unlikely now.
He should have never mentioned the henchmen but he gently grabbed Taji by the shoulders, seeing she was beginning to panic. "Taji listen to me, and listen carefully. Long as I'm still breathing and have strength in my body to keep fighting Sinister will never get his hands on you ever again. And trust me he was bound to know where I was as well considering I have my face probably plastered on the news more than once in the last few months." Horus told her as he knew it would have only been a matter of time before Sinister would have tried to get them.

Taji's heart raced to the point she thought it was going to pop right out of her chest. Though as soon as Horus placed his hands on her shoulders and started to say he would protect her as long as he strength in him she started to calm down. She looked into his eyes as he spoke. She felt his words where true. And more then anyone else Horus knew what it was like as he was also in Sinster's clutches and was able to get away just like she was able to. She also worried about the others she had gotten away with.. They had splited up and she never heard from them again.. So she just hoped they where all alright. Taji then closed her eyes as she took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. She then placed one hand on Horus's hand giving a weak smile. " Thank you Horus.. I.. I will get stronger so I can be brave.. In fact I have something to tell you.. During my time out here and with the help of Jean... The Dragon and I have become one.. I.. Its hard to explain.. but The dragon did not mean any harm she just wanted to protect me.." Taj isaid though was not sure she was explaining it right.

Relieved to see Taji calm down Horus could only smile as he let his hands fall back at his sides but he listened to her as she talked now. She certainly was already stronger, probably more than she realized and he was a bit surprised to hear the dragon she became was a separate entity altogether yet at the same time it was not unheard of. "Taji you are strong, and you've only gotten stronger since I first met you. Those small milestones are evident and that's all it takes sometimes, baby steps and taking things one step at a time. That I couldn't be more proud of." Horus told her, his tone proud of her accomplishments and this just seemed like another.
"So the dragon is her own entity, pretty interesting really. But at the same time I'm glad to hear that Taji since that can be viewed as another step forward for the both of you." Horus said with a nod before he remembered he did have something with him. Reaching back he pulled out what seemed to be folded papers, four total in the stack as he looked at the papers before looking at Taji. "There is something else Taji, something important I've been hoping to talk to you about. I know since I first found you and us becoming close you have almost been like family to me, which brought me to the decision to make things official." He stated to her as he held out the papers to her so she could look, "I want to adopt you Taji and make you part of my family, to be my daughter if you so wish."

Taji listened as Horus spoke, She blushed when he said she was already strong and that she had only gotten stronger after the day he had found her. He may have said that but Taji had a hard time believing that.. She still felt weak and scared. Just the thought of Sinster almost sent her into a panic attack just a few moments ago. But then again she had a feeling she would always fear that man. After all the things he and his minions did.. "I don't feel very strong..." Taji mumbled looking off to the side. She had always felt weak.. Only time she felt like she could do something about her life was at the school.. With Horus, Lance, Sarah and Megan at her side.. But she left that after one of her worst raging fits. Taji then fell silent again when Horus spoke about her other half and said it was a step forward for them both she slowly looked back at him. Though blinked when he took some papers from his back pocket and held them out. She looked up at Horus again when he said he had something important. She blinked not understanding what the papers meant till Horus spoke how close they had gotten and said he wanted to adopt her as his own daughter. The shock was so great Taji forgot to breath till she started to gasp for air. Taji stared at Horus, it was like the best thing she could ever hope for! Though suddenly she started to feel light headed and stumbled backwards catching herself on a tree with once hand. "Y-You really want to adopt me?
Taji managed to say in shock.

"It may not seem like it Taji, but you certainly have gotten quite strong." Horus assured her as he had seen her grow quickly since she came to the school. Not to mention she had come a long way from not even talking to others and had seemed to quickly become friends with not only Sarah but also Megan, both of who were in her squad. Though it seemed that Amethyst wasn't quite so quick to open up as Taji was which was fine. He just wanted Taji to be happy and so far he had seen that quite a bit, something which had once made Horus wonder if he should let her be and continue his travels but obviously he couldn't bring himself to leave the school or Taji behind.
Though he quickly caught Taji as she caught herself, seeing she had not breathed for a long moment when she heard his news. "Of course I do Taji. You've become family to me and I know at one point you felt like the only family I ever had." Horus said with a smile, though it was faint as he was certain she had not even heard the truth about his own family. But if she was to become his daughter she had to know what she was getting into. "Though there is a catch...the family you're being adopted into has been known to have some issues." He said as he seemed hesitant before he motioned Taji to sit with him as he sat on a boulder nearby, tapping his fingers together as he tried to figure out a way to tell her the truth. "Taji you see, if you become my daughter you'll also be Pietro and Wanda Maximoff's niece and Polaris's as well. On top of that it'd make you Magneto's adoptive granddaughter." He told her to the point, watching her mood to see how she would react to this.
