Team Rosters

Avengers:
Famously knows as Earth's Mightiest Heroes the founding members and some recruits in the past have long since made their mark in the world. Possibly even on a few planets and dimensions. They have worked along side many organizations and teams such as SHIELD, Fantastic Four, and X-men to name a few. But with the years going by and the Earth seeing a time of peace many of these members have settled down and had families or retired. Now they pass on their skills and knowledge to younger generations of Avengers or even their own children, continuing the Avengers legacy in the form of some handful of splinter teams.

Future Foundation:
Formerly known as the famous Fantastic Four Reed Richards decided it was time for the team to expand beyond this. Now renamed the Future Foundation they not only have the latest in technology and science but also many new vehicles, suits, and new recruits of their own. As before the original four members still take part in some missions but for the most part also mentor some younger recruits, such as their own children.

Dark Avengers:
The Dark Avengers were once a team created by Norman Osborn as a way to get back at the Avengers and become a type of anti-hero team. They shared many aspects of the Avengers team of the originals and usually served as not only a rival but also arch enemies as well until they were disbanded. Several years since then a new team has formed into the second incarnation of the Dark Avengers, this one mostly composed of a newer generation and possibly some veterans. As of right now the only veteran is Barney Barton who for the moment is the main one overseeing the team and trying to get them to work together. There goal isn't really much different but they have certainly aimed to becoming the more villainous ways than before.

Weapon X:
A program that has been around for many decades, though the exact amount of years is not known. Still run by Romulus, supposed leader of lupine mutants who evolved from wolves, it has yet to show signs of completely dying. Several government organizations and or funds help to keep it going and often in top secret. No matter how many times one section is destroyed it seemed Weapon X is no where close to being done with experimenting on poor mutants.

X-men:
The mutant team well known for trying to promote peace between humans and mutants. Like other hero groups of the past they have made their mark, some good and others misunderstood, but still they have made an impression. They have been through thick and thin, traveling throughout the galaxy, many places upon earth, and stopping several of their arch-enemies, most noteably the Brotherhood of Mutants. Now many of the veteran X-men spend their time being teachers or mentors to those of younger generations of mutants, especially those interested in being future X-men. Though until a true team can be made for a younger generation the veterans do their part into helping with missions that occasionally come up though do encourage some of the older student body to continue the X-men's legacy themselves.

X-students:
The students of Jean Grey School are many mutants who have manifested powers at various young ages. Though some have been late bloomers, especially now. There are a great many that come and go, being given not only their proper education but also the knowledge of to better use their powers for the greater good. Some of these students are also likely to one day become the new generations of X-men or x-men teams.

Brotherhood of Mutants:
Once one of the most feared mutant terrorist groups the Brotherhood had it's many times of coming close to not only world conquest but also their version of 'Mutant Liberation'. Unfortunately the X-men, and occasionally other organizations and groups, thwarted them at every turn. After several defeats and no signs of being able to achieve his goal Magneto disbanded them for good and went about traveling the world. But after the recent discovery of mutants and superhumans being imprisoned Magneto's attempts to be a changed man have gone down the drain as he goes in search of more after the first he found. He plans to recruit more to his cause once more and plans on having younger members under his wing to not only be his new Brotherhood, which is in the process of being revived, but also teaching them.

Unaffiliated:
Not much as changed for those who choose to walk their own paths. They come and go as they please, decide their own fate whether it's good or bad, and just don't bother in the affairs of groups. Though occasionally they may help or put a wedge into a certain plan, so it's till advised today to be watchful of these loners.
