After Jams Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, and Remus Lupin left Hogewarts, they began to drift apart. Sirius and Lupin entered the auror training progam, Peter set up a little shop for himself in Diagon Alley, and James, well James started to see some things different. Lily had rejected his advances for the last time and was now seriously seeing Severus Snape. This final rejection was the last straw in a steadily growing hatred in James. When his parents were killed by a rouge wizard, he blamed the ministry for failing to protect them, and more specifically, his old friends Peter and Remus. He had been slowly turning away from all that was considered "good" for some time, but his parent's death and Lily scorning him finally drove him mad. He removed himself from normal society and was not seen for many years.
Now it is Harry's sixth year at Hogwarts and things are going quite well. Snape married Lily Evans and soon after, she gave birth to Harry, who was followed four years later by a younger sister. Lupin is now the Headmaster after the sudden retirement of Albus Dumbledore in Harry's fifth year and the ministry of magic is run by a very capable Lucius Malfoy. Yes, things are going well....
But will it continue?
James Potter has been in hiding, biding his time and gathering followers. He has set his sites on those who he sees as betraying him......and all those who follow them.
