"Well we kind of had to keep it secret, mostly due to the fact there is still some tension with people accepting who we are."Lance told her, his smile fading a little at saying this but quickly shook away the negative thoughts. "But the school is a pretty laid back place, and well besides the usual classes you would have in a normal school you got about everything to feel comfortable."He couldn't help chuckling then,"Plenty of places to explore since the mansion and the grounds are huge, it's got it's own gardens, a recreational room, a large library, a pool...you name it it has it."He told her.
Least that was the best way to describe the institute. It seemed it had about everything there was to offer, or very much close to it. "Though the biggest part of it is that most of the staff are part of a team called the X-men as well, a superhero team made completely of mutants."He also added, knowing this would be the biggest part to explain, especially when it would come to her parent or parents. "Our biggest goals are to help mutants young and old to be able to better control their powers and promote co-existence between mutants and humans. It's what the X-men stand for and some of our students can become part of the team when they are about eighteen or so." With that part out Lance now could only wait and see if Sarah would truly still be excited.

Sarah stood there as she listened, the place sounded amazing, it sounded better then the school she was going to by far. Though going there would be another life changer, though that would not be something new.. As soon as she got her powers her life was changed. After a moment of thinking about it Sarah decided she wanted to see the school and would ask if she could bring her Mom. "I want to see it. I want to see the school with my Mom. I.. I want to learn how to use my powers." She may have been to quick to to answer like that but she may never get a chance like this again.

Indeed Lance wasn't expecting a very quick answer after the explanation. Normally many they recruited hesitated and were unsure of such a thing but eventually took time to decide and came to the school. Sarah was just one of those few who seemed eager to learn and gain that control they needed. Sure it was kind of a life changing moment when one's power manifested but it didn't always have to hold them back, in fact they could live a normal life or also have a heroic one like the X-men pursued.
With a smile Lance nodded,"Well then I can certainly set up an appointment for you and your mother to come to the mansion. We'd be more then pleased to even give you a tour, or as much of one as we can since the mansion is pretty big."He assured her, knowing that it might be a little chaotic when they arrived. "Though just a forewarning it will be a little chaotic since we already have quite a few students, but some of them will certainly welcome you with open arms."He added.

Sarah smiled as Lance spoke, if that place was that huge it seemed like it was going to be a lot of fun. The only thing she had to worry about was getting lost when looking for her classes.. But if the students there where as nice as Lance said she was sure they would help her till she was able to learn where some of the places where. But most of all she will be going to a place with people like her, so she wont have to worry as much if she freezes something without meaning to. That is her biggest worry in the real world with normal people. Sarah then nodded when Lance said he would be able to set up a appointment, She could not wait to go and start learning.
"Chaotic huh? Sounds like fun. Oh, do you want my number?" Sarah asked as she started to dig through her bag, she was able to find some paper and a pen. She then wrote down her number then handed it to Lance. To most it must have looked odd a teenager giving her number to a older man but she did not care what others thought she knew the real reason and that's all that matterd. Her world was changing once again, but she refused to let fear of the unknown stop her in following in her Father's foot steps. So Sarah choose to dive head first into whatever is coming her way.

"That'd definitely help,"Lance said with a nod as he waited patiently before taking the piece of paper and putting it in his pocket so it wouldn't get lost. "And glad you think it's fun, unfortunately the chaos comes to the class room."He said, giving mock sad look to the equipment he was having to replace which he had in a few grocery bags due to the fact there was quite a bit he had to buy. Though luckily it wasn't anything overly expensive and easily paid for with his own money he got from being a teacher.
Shaking his head he looked back at Sarah,"Well if you live close by I can certainly give you a call in the next day or two to be able to see the school Sarah. Who knows you might make a friend or two before your actually end up enrolled."Lance said with a slight smile, knowing he nearly had a handful just his first few days but had about lost them to from being a loner most of his time at the school.

Sarah blinked but then smiled when Lance said the chaos follows into the classrooms as well. Sarah did not mind that, it sound more fun then the school she has been going to. Though she felt a little bad leaving.. Seeing as she was the only one to stand up to the bullys of that school.. All she could do was hope that someone would stand up and take her place. " Yeah, Mom and I live in a Apartment near by. I can't wait to come over and see my new home. But... I think I better go home and tell my Mother." Sarah said giving sheepish laugh and rubbed the back of her head. Oh yeah she and her Mother where going to have lots to talk about now when she gets home...

Lance chuckled a bit and nodded slightly,"Yes that would be the best move from here. As for me I have to be getting back to the school since it's already getting late into the afternoon."He said knowing he already should have been gone by now but this had certainly been worth being a little late back to the mansion. Now was just the fact of getting the appointment made then calling Sarah to be able to come to the mansion as he had promised. "Well I'll be heading out myself, see you soon Sarah."He said with a smile before he turned to begin leaving.

Sarah smiled and nodded, " Alright can't wait sir." Sarah said as she watched Lance walk off, Sarah then took off in a jog as she started to make her way back home. She knew her mother would be shocked but would support her in the choice she had made, it felt great to know she was now going to follow the path her Father would have wanted. If he was watching over her she hoped he was pround and smileing. Sarah then ran home with a smile on her face. She could not wait for the next few days to be over.
