Ooc: Estimated time is about 6:45 pm, and the sunset is starting to come. The stars will be out once the sun is gone.
Bic: The dark neyaphem was out in the backyard area of the X-Men mansion wandering through the edge of the forest that was at the back of the base. Here she noticed that she felt at home here where she could be herself and hide in the shadows if she had too. This place was amazing being that she had only had been here for a few weeks and settled in. However she still lacked a few things like friends, she wondered if she would find any at this point. Though this problem didn’t seem to bother her that much completely, she didn’t mind going by herself on a lot of things, often it gave her more opportunities than it would have normally done than going with a group.
The young neyaphem climbed up one of the taller trees that would have looked difficult for a human in climbing it, but she did it with ease thanks to the suction cups that were on her feet and hands. As she climbed up to the top, she found a branch to rest on and held on to the trunk of the tree with her tail. She had come out for another reason as well. She wanted to see the sunset before it disappeared behind the clouds, the houses that were further out, and the forest. She loved how it made the sky change colors from anywhere of the colors of red, yellow, pink, and anywhere in between. It was almost like watching a rainbow move through the sky in fact.
Then of course after that the stars would appear out in the sky and she would be able to see which ones were out this time. Since it was still spring like she had a guess on what stars were out at this point. However the friend thing still seemed to be on her mind as she thought about it, “I doubt anyone will have interest in befriending a neyaphem. It’s always been like this since I was a kid.” She said as Luna’s ears were back. She didn’t seem to be aware if or anyone that may have been nearby. They would have seen the neyaphem that was up in the trees, and it certainly did look a bit odd for someone. “And that was about ten years ago.”

Though Luna probably would have been surprised to know she wasn't the only strange one lurking about the forest of the mansion. In fact one odd looking neyaphem was taking a short walk around the trees, preferring to spend the early hours of the evening for a walk. Though what she was really waiting for was to see if the moon would be out tonight since there had been some clouds out during the day and some that night. Though she also loved to see the stars as well and all she could do was wait.
Already Amethyst had been out there for an hour, now going on two while waiting. But she could see the sky was getting close to the sun setting fully so she quickly made her way to one of the trees, leaping up with relative easy to climb towards the higher branches. With her natural acrobatics she was able to move swiftly up the branches before finally reaching one she could better see the sky.
Amethyst though was in view of Luna, who she had yet to realize was out there as well to enjoy the night sky. If anything Amethyst was waiting patiently mostly for the moon, the source of her abilities and something she always felt a connection to somehow. Despite the odd feeling she felt with the moon she just sat down, flicking her tail and her fur looking a darker shade of purple then it was now.

Luna turned as she had seen one of the nearby trees move. Normally she would have figured it was an animal or even a bird that had moved the tree because of its weight. But this seemed a bit larger than a bird as Luna was curious to see who it was. There were other mutants on the campus of course, but had no idea that it was another neyaphem. But as she came over to the edge of the branch, where the point of it soon was at a time of where she could no longer walk on it she spoke up trying to see who was there.
"Umm...i-is someone there? I saw the tree branch move earlier..." She said as she found herself nervous now. Even if it was another student. What would they think of her being a neyaphem? It never crossed her mind once that another neyaphem would be out there. Not once had she known of her own origins or even who her mother had been. It had been a mystery since day one as far as she knew.

Surprised to suddenly hear Luna's voice Amethyst quickly turned slightly to face the direction it came from. The branch shifted slightly as she turned, not knowing how to quite answer at first before finally doing so. "Yes, sorry if I might have disturbed you. I was just coming out her to watch the stars and mostly the moon."She replied back as she moved the leaves a bit to get a better look before staring in shock when she saw Luna at last.
What struck her the most was her appearance, the similar demonic appearance Amethyst herself had saved for their fur, hair, eyes, and some other factors. But there was no denying that there was certainly some resemblance. "Y-your...I mean I didn't think...your just like me!"Amethyst stammer with pure shock, unable to make a comprehensible sentence. But of course what could she really say at this discovery?

Luna shook her head as she heard Amethyst speak not minding it at all as she looked back at her, "It's alright you didn't disturb me. I just thought I was alone." Luna said as she looked back to try and get a better look at where Amethyst was. But then she realized in more of surprise if anything on who it was. Another neyaphem!? She had been here only for a few weeks and it surprised her that she had not come across another one until now.
"Yes we are the same? But what I don't get is why we found each other sooner. I've been to the school for a few weeks now and I've only seen you now." Luna said as she looked over Amethyst's features, seeing that many were the same. But there were certainly some differences between them of course. None the less, they were both part of the neyaphem species. She also found her ears starting to turn down, not flat against her head, but showing that she was a bit unsure, maybe even nervous as well.

"I guess not finding each other before isn't surprising, this place is pretty huge. We might not even have classes together or just at different times."Amethyst said, her initial shock beginning to disappear now to curiosity and joy. She didn't know if she would be the only neyaphem there at the school or not, or if there would be someone like her at all. But to know there was made Amethyst all the more happy.
"By the way my name is Amethyst Moore, though I go by Moon DAncer as well."Amethyst added with a slight smile, flicking her tail in slight excitement since she didn't know how else to react. Though another thought occurred to her if maybe she knew more about what they were or not.
Unfortunately like Luna Amethyst too knew very little of her father and little more of what she was. The only thing her mother ever told her was that she was something called a neyaphem and that her father had been a demon-looking man, but he had soon disappeared shortly after discovering her mother was pregnant. After this the rest was a mystery. So for the last several years Amethyst had been in the dark of who her father was, what she was, and if there were others like her. And no meeting Luna only proved that it was likely so.

"Still it's nice to know that there is another neyaphem out there. I was never exactly liked for my looks." Luna said knowing that her adopted family still cared for her, but she knew if she went out on the streets, she would certainly cause a scene just by being there. And some how she wanted to avoid that since she did not like causing them. She nodded as she heard Amethyst speak her name, it was a nice one, and she could see why Amethyst was called that. "It's nice to meet you Amethyst. Hopefully we can be friends. And good ones." She added as she looked back at her.
Like Amethyst, she had not known who her true parents were, only stories that someone had left her at the front entrance of the orphanage that she grew up at. And the guess was that it may have been a relative who couldn't take care of her for some unknown reason. She didn't exactly have the 'royalty' like that Amethyst had where she was directly linked to the man in charge, Azazel. In stead she was more of a descendent of a follower of Azazel.
Luna had nearly forgotten about the reason why she was out this late, in fact the sun was even lower than before on the horizon as it was starting to make its way lower on the other sides of the earth. She glanced over at it noticing how the sky was starting to change colors. "Well it looks like sunset has started to come. Those few moments to me felt like they flew by real fast." She added.

"I hope so too."Amethyst agreed as she looked at Luna, though unlike her she had known and lived with her real mother. It was just the fact she hadn't seen her true father and she had only known very little about him, just what he had been and how he had just abandoned her mother and her. It made Amethyst a little ashamed to truly explain to anyone what had happened with her family so she never spoke about it. Most of all she just wanted to move on and just have a life she could live all her own, not that the life was really what she was looking for.
Since coming to the Institute it had been the only place she had truly felt at home without having to be judged for her own appearance. Unfortunately that had been the primary cause that sent her there was because she was demonic looking and the people of her town didn't know if she was a mutant or a true demon, so they labeled her both in a sense and chased her out. To this day Amethyst was adjusting to both life among her own kind and to being in a new country where as she had been in Canada all her life, thus her slight accent.
Though pushing those to the back of her mind the young neyaphem turned her attention towards the darkening sky and smiled, mostly looking towards the moon that was faintly beginning to rise. "Can't wait for the moon to come up,"She said with slight excitement as her tail began to twitch showing that excitement she was feeling. Soon enough she would be able to have the lunar energy she needed to recharge any she had lost that day.
