• Personality: Shawn has turned mellow over the years from being a bright and curious boy. In the past he enjoyed many things such as going out doors, exploring and just simiply sitting around and watching the nature around him. In many cases, one would have thought that he was a nature lover. which in a way was true since he enjoyed the out doors so much. He also seemed to have a heavy and very close relationship with his sister Sierra while they were together.
  
  While that changed after the rockslide inncident, he began to turn pretty dull and depressed over the year. He has heavily missed his sister showing occasional signs of depression as he recalls her past. And at other times he wants to be left alone since he knows he's different now, and he has something to show it with. On many times he also seems very unsure of showing others that he has an electronic leg, what would they think of him when they saw it? Would they think that he is normal? Or something else? All these questions scare him about the opinions of others, even though he may not show it right away.

• Appearance: Shawn stands at six foot one inches high, and weighs one hundred and seventy eight pounds. The extra weight comes from his mechanical leg that he has. Without his leg on he weighs one hundred and sixty eight pounds evenly. He has brown hair and brown eyes to add to his coloring. And his skin is slightly darker than usual since he spends a bit more time out than normal. It would be described as a medium shade of sand.
  
• Distinguishing Features: Although he may be able to hide it at first with clothing and his shoes. He has a machine leg that looks very odd in his human part. Many may think he is odd because of this.

• Powers:
  Earth Manipulation: Shawn has the ability to control the earth around him. Such as a numerous amount of rocks like ruby, clay, or even flint for that matter. He can shape the rock then into his liking, whether it be a large sphere or even a rectangle. The possibilities are endless. Several other things he can do is cause heavy earthquakes by manipulating parts of the ground, if he does it carefully enough they will be minor ones. One last thing that he can do is form a ramp, similar to what Iceman can do with his ice powers. And glide on it as he controls it.
  
  Minor Metal Manipulation: Shawn has the ability to manipulate certain metals. The following he can manipulate easily: Iron, copper, gold, steel, and bronze. Any other metals he seems to have a harder concentration on. He can usually manipulate them and shape them into anything he can desires. So if he wanted to shape it into a ball or even a square he could do it easily. Or he could project the sphere in a certain direction by moving it forcefuly. He can usually use this metal manipulation for up to four hours without having to stop and taking a break from draining himself. If he wants to push himself he can last for six hours, but that is certainly costing himself.
  
  Obisidan Form: Shawn can change himself into a rock formation of a glassy substance known as Obisidan. In return he appears as a back figure made out of rock that can encase his entire body. With this rock form he has enhanced strength, allowing him to lift 500 pounds easily without giving him some strain.
  
• Weaknesses:
  Electricity Manipulation: Since electricity can easily move through the ground, shawn will have a hard time trying to prevent it from hitting him. Since he always has perferred his feet on the ground by creating a ramp or even just by moving objects. An electrical manipulator could easily get him at that point.
  
  Glass manipulation: Glass does not have the same 'earthen' materials as earth does. So therefore he wouldn't be able to bend or move it at all. So if someone was using glass manipulation he would be in serious trouble.
  
  Crippled leg: Shawn has a crippled leg, so without this machine part of him he will not be able to walk easily or at all if it is removed. It has also affected him mentally by sending him on some spirals of depression.
  
  Obisidan Form: In his obisidan form he can be shattered if hit in proper places. One area that he has been known to be weak for is the head. If he is hit in the head than in other areas it will make him turn back into his human form. Another area that he will loose his obisidan form is when he is rendered unconscious he will immediantly turn back into his human form. So this could be of some sort of pain that is too much for him or even a telepathic touch that commands him to go unconscious.
  
  
• Skills: Shawn is skilled out in the wild, he'd be called a survivalist then. If he was alone for several days out in the wild he would know what to do since his family went out on several occasions out into the wilderness.
  
  
• History:Shawn Anderson is the first born of the Anderson family from Summer and Darian Anderson. The family lived in Florida with uneventful lives, as everything seemed normal. They lived in the hot heat of the state and soon the two children developed a close bond shortly after Sierra was born. As Sierra and Shawn grew up, she saw him as an older brother figure and he taught her on occasions several things he knew that would help her in growing up, or just in the sake of teaching.
  
  The family was heavily into going on outings, and avoiding the city life many times. It had helped them bond together as Sierra and Shawn went rock climbing. Although Shawn stated he never hated it or disliked it, he wanted to make sure that Sierra would be safe out there as well while her parents weren't watching. On one part of the trip, Sierra bolted ahead of them as Shawn persisted on following. He managed to catch up to her but by the time he did it had been too late. Sierra had fallen down into a rockpile as the rocks gave way from beneath his feet. As they both fell to the bottom Shawn could hardly move as his feet were crushed behind him. THough oddly his first powers began to manifest that day as he managed to move some of the smaller rocks. Being that it took much effort and the pain from his legs had been so great he could not concentrate on lifting the other rocks.
  
  Once the rescue team started to arrive, Shawn continued to call out for Sierra wondering to see if she was alive. But there had been no response from her, as he was partially convinced that she was dead. The rescue team finally showed up and then brought Shawn to a hospital where he remained for several months. On his fifteenth birthday he remained in there as well. And seemed to slowly turning down hill after the accident that he had thought had happpened had killed his sister.
  
  As the doctors worked on his injured legs, they later discovered that his right one had been crushed so badly that it had to be removed. Shawn had heavily disagreed with that wanting to keep his leg. But the doctor finally convinced him that it was not a good choice for him in order to do that as they began to remove his leg off while he was put to sleep for the operation. As his other leg was recovering, his lost leg had been placed in for a mechanical one. As he soon learned how to use it, but had to rely on a wheelchair at times. Shawn had disliked the machine wishing his own leg was back, but after much practice, he realized how useful it was at times. Then finally after five months later he returned home able to walk but had trouble at times.
  
  It wouldn't be long for the news of the rescued boy to reach all the way in New York by the man known as Charles Xavier. Being merely that the story had been covered up as the rocks had barely missed the boy, he wanted to look more into this story by visiting Shawn. He saw how upset Shawn was as he remained home for most of the day, not able to have a normal life again as he spoke with him. Shawn seemed to be at first refusing to join the team as he wanted to remained at home, but Xavier managed to convince him to join showing that he too was not able to use his legs, but also the fact that he was still pursuing a dream. So Shawn packed his things at the age of sixteen and joined him to the X-Men as he became one of the students there. Now Shawn has stayed with the X-Men for a year and has began to discover more from his powers, such as having a minor obisidan form as well, one that was similar to his sister's but not as much as a range of powers. With his obisidan form he has the ability to have an additional amount of strength with him and as well as durability.
