Luna had felt her fur stiffen up a bit once she heard the Professor's voice, she was not used to the telepathy like others were but it did mean something. Did that mean that the Professor was interested in this girl joining the X-Men? But how could she explain it to her if she had never met the group before. Well she could try and do it the nicest way she could without coming to harm the team. There was the side to that as well.
Though as she looked back at Koral she hoped that Koral had not noticed that her fur had been up higher than normal. None the less she listened to what Koral what to say about being weary. She could understand it, being on the run meant that you could possibly have enemies on the street or even fight against the police men that wanted to take them in. So it was completely understood it. "Yeah it makes sense a bit, you don't exactly know who to trust or where to turn. So it's kind of like second nature or instinct, something like that." She said wondering if she had said the correct thing.
"Maybe I kind of agree with that. The people that we interact in our lives could mean more than what we see at first hands. They could be closer than we think, like even friend to friend, or sibling." She added as she nodded back in return. But she remembered something, Koral was still hungry and needed something to eat, it wouldn't be long before the dinning room opened, maybe less than an hour before it opened? They would get there in time at this rate before it was flocked with the other X-Men and she would get something to eat, they would be able to pass some time while walking there and still make it before it opened. Now she just hoped that Koral would take the invitation, that would at least help the Professor. "That reminds me...the dining hall at where I live is about to open now. I live at a school during the school year. Would you like to come and eat there? I'm sure the other staff members won't mind that you visited at all. I'm honest about that one." Luna asked.

Koral was watching Luna when her hair went up on end. Fear filled her and her eyes darter around. Something scared her or startled her. She took her jacket out and spread her wings out ready to take flight if needed. She may be terrified of heights and not fly that good as she would like. But she would do what ever it would take to stay safe. After a few minutes Luna's fur flattened and she relaxed. Something strange had happened. She didn't know what but now she was on edge.
Still nervous she listened to what Luna had to say. "Very true, that is something that you always have to keep in mind. Never let your guard down. if you do your a gone'er for sure." The girl understood some what. But did she really believe it or understand it? She didn't think so.
At the mention of food, hot food her eyes shot open and her ear's pricked up sort of. The prospect of hot steaming food was so strong. But the thought of being surrounded by strangers was terrifying. She had remained on the run keeping herself hidden from all other's mutant and humans alike. And to just enter a school filled with unknown people would be like handing herself over to the police. She swallowed, could she really let loose all her fear's and go? All for just a hot meal to fill her stomach that hadn't been full in a year? "Are you sure it would be ok with them?" She found herself saying with out realizing she was about to say anything.

"I agree with that one. It almost happened to me in the past. I don't want it to happen again." Luna said as she shook her head. Her fur from earlier had pretty much remained calm now and it had returned to normal. She was glad for this for she didn't want to startle Koral again. It's just that she wasn't used to the telepathic bond or even link that the Professor used on others. But she figured it was certainly one way to get around and check on the students-to see if they were actually doing what they said or goofing off somewhere where they shouldn't be. The Professor always seemed to know where they were, which wasn't a bad thing most of the time.
"Yeah I just got an invite from the head master himself...I guess that's what you can call him. he's a nice guy just like everyone else is there." Luna assured her as she put out a three toed hand for her to hold onto if she wante to come. In fact the mansion was just like a second home to her. Of course she did miss her adoptive parents back at her real home she felt like she was at peace here. It was hard to explain but that was the best way to think about it, and she certainly was happy there. "I promise, everything is fine and will be fine when we get to the mansion." She assured her.

Koral chewed her bottom lip a little nervous but the sound of food was to tempting. She was starting to smile with excitement. She could taste the hot food now. But when Luna said she had just gotten a invite she raised her right eyebrow and looked away. "But....but I didn't hear anything. Or see anything how could you have gotten a invite with out me seeing or hearing anything?"
Shrugging Koral stepped closer to her ready to fly out the window. "Ok so lead the way." She wondered where this place was and how far it was. She would probably be starving by the time she got there. She looked down at her clothes and frowned she was a mess and she probably stank. She had been on the rude for so long.

"It's because he sent me one telepathically. He's a telepath." Luna said as she began to climb down the old apartment with her suction cups. But she continued to look out for Koral to make sure that she would be fine as well. "And before I forget his name is Professor X. At least that's what everyone is used to calling him." She added as she continued to walk. It would at least a good hour before they began to head over to the mansion.
Ooc: I apologize for the short post. Should we do a quick time skip to where they arrive to the mansion?

OOC: yea I'll skip forward in my post.
bic: The trip to the mansion seemed to go quicker than she thought. For in no time flat she was standing in front of the mansion. The place was huge, and she could hear children playing. As she got closer she could see them. There where so many, one was freezing a pool of water. It was amazing. She wasn't alone after all. There where so many mutants here. As they approached the porch Koral could see someone in a wheel chair on the front porch. "Who is that is that the Prof. X you mentioned?" She swallowed nervously.

"Yeah that's him. That's the one." Luna said as she looked back at Koral after they had come along. A lot of the younger members seemed to be out she noticed. Wondering if her friends were out along with them. She had recently met a neyaphem that was a part of the student body of the X-Men named Amethyst. She was different looking of course, but she was still of the same species of Neyaphem. After glancing around at some of the students she looked back towards the Professor. "Professor I have brought back Koral with me. She's the one you wanted to speak too right?" She asked excited now that she might have a new friend as well and to possibly show her around the mansion.
