Westchester County is home to two mutant schools.
On the New York State side of the county near Salem Center is Xavier's Instituate for Gifted Youngster. Run by the stately Charles Xavier and staffed by his adult students, its a second home for any student in need to learn how to control their amazing abilities to return to society. One half school; one half family Xavier's is a place with open arms.
On the Massachusetts side of the County near Bayville is The Massachusetts Academy for Excellent Young Adults. Run by Emma Frost, a former student of Xavier's, the Mass is more about a finishing school for future leaders of industry, finance, and politics... and that those leaders will be mutants.
Naturally, and desirably, the two schools have developed a Rivalry. Whether that competition remains friendly or not remains to be seen...
