1875- The Warcombe Vampire Clan arrived in the New England town of Devil's Row. Immediately they sought to make the town a graveyard, feeding off the blood of the innocent citizens. Their massacre is finally ended by the legendary McCains, a family of Vampire Hunters. However, before she is destroyed, Victoria Warcombe, the queen of the vampire clan, placed a curse on Devil's Row, that it may forever be a haven for the most wicked of creatures.
The McCains gathered a group of brave and skilled individuals from the town to fight the dark forces that entered it. This group was known as the Order of Thomas, named after Thomas McCain, the first of the McCain Vampire Hunters. For next century, the battle of good vs. evil raged on.

1975- In a bloody confrontation, the last of the Warcombes were seemingly destroyed by the Order of Thomas. The curse was temporarily broken, allowing the town of Devil's Row to thrive and experience a long-awaited period of normalcy. The town's name was changed to Cherub's Cove in order to put the past one hundred years behind them.

2010- The last adult descendants of the McCain Family were found slaughtered in their home. Their surviving thirteen year old daughter was found and adopted, but her foster parents had her "specially treated" to forget her existence as a McCain. Meanwhile, rumors began to haunt the ears of the townsfolk that the murderer was a resurrected Warcombe, and therefore the curse was alive again. The rumors bared some truth when over the next three years, strange happenings began to occur again, and even stranger visitors began to arrive in town. It was clear to those who remembered well that the Order of Thomas would need to form again, this time to end the curse forever.
