Blasting away the frustration (Open)

It was common for Laurie to want to train in the Danger Room, especially since she could do so considering her age and being a reserve member for the X-men team. Quite frankly Laurie would have preferred to continue her studies, reading a book, or enjoying the outdoors then coming down here willingly. But again it had to be done. This was especially so if she wanted to learn more in controlling her shifting abilities, which for the most part they had a mind of their own at this point in time. Sometime though there were times she wished she could just be normal looking again or just not a mutant at all.

Sighing, the blue skinned mutant could only shake her head as she was turning the corner, accidently bumping into Alex Summers without realizing he was there when she had been lost in her own thoughts. "Uh my bad, I didn't see you there."She apologized at the same time before rubbing the back of her neck."And I'm alright, I hope I didn't hurt you either Mr.Summers."She said in embarrassment, realizing it was one of the veteran X-men and teachers. But she herself hadn't realized he was down there and was mentally kicking herself for not being much more aware of what she was doing while also having been hoping no one else would be around.

Unfortunately Laurie was someone subconscious about being 'naked' when it came to being able to use her powers, especially her morphic abilities and transonic speeds. For the most part her blue skin was really more of a crystal exoskeleton that had several markings over her body, most noteably on her face, chest, and stomach with a few on her forearms and around her lower legs. What also was noticeable was the protrusions along her shoulders and three on her head with her now red hair growing around it. She was no way shape or form revealing anything just she really had no need for clothing but still wore something most of the time, just today she didn't need to when she was getting ready to train.
