Getting into trouble. ( Magneto)

Though it was very late at night and very early in the morning Erik had found himself being unable to sleep, especially when he was preparing preparations for the Brotherhood's return to public eye. So far though he only had a few recruits, three of which were new and the other a veteran of his former team. It was a tedious task but none the less it had to be done. It just took careful planning and in making sure no one discovered it right off the bat. The last thing the Master of Magnetism wanted was to be harassed with questions or being watched by some of his former enemies, most noteably the X-men and certainly some of the Avengers due to having clashed with both teams in the far past.

Unfortunately the old mutant had decided to take a short break, leaving his hotel room that he was using until they had a proper hide out and leaving for a walk. It wasn't uncommon to see in the Big Apple for someone to be walking around though it wasn't always as crowded at night. And it almost seemed pretty peaceful for the most part to Erik, he even expected that this might help clear his thoughts. But how wrong he would be.

No sooner had he gotten a few blocks away did he notice several cops around and some firemen, though it made him wonder what was going on for such a big squad of the police force. Deciding to see for himself Erik tapped into his magnetism powers using his Electromagnetic sight to seeing the natural aura given off by the living beings, seeing the police force and their dogs, other bystanders and to his surprise a young girl who seemed to be in a rather large rush. Perhaps this was the person they were looking for? No doubt someone who had committed a crime of some sort but he thought it was a little extensive to have firemen there too, their hoses ready it seemed to spray someone down. Now that could potentially wound someone badly and it made the old mutant frown slightly.

Blinking slightly his vision returned to normal before he manipulated the natural magnetic field of the planet to be able to fly, following to where he had seen the young girl heading away. Once more he used his electromagnetic sight to look for living beings among the alley ways and abandoned buildings before at last he spotted one in what seemed an old shop and he landed outside it's entrance. With a slight push of the door he stepped inside, looking right to where Neila was hiding due to seeing her natural aura,"You can come out child, they aren't heading this way for a little while longer. I can help you escape before they find you however, and avoid ending up in jail."He said calmly to her, hoping he could coax her out so they could get away then he could see what the whole story was of her being chased down.

Patiently Erik waited until the girl stood, having noticed the light coming from her hiding spot and realized why this was so. She too was a mutant, she looked in her late teens and not to mention it seemed a fire manipulator. It had been some since he had seen a fire user, not really since his old Brotherhood member Pyro who could only control flames but Neila seemed able to generate the flames on her own. Perhaps this was the reason for the firemen and the water hoses? Or had it just been a precaution to slowing the girl down? Whatever the reason Magneto would worry about it later.

"Well young lady my name is Erik Lensherr or as I'm infamously known as Magneto, Master of Magnetism."Erik introduced himself, keeping himself quite calm and collected as he could already see this would be a difficult person to deal with. "And I would help you because it seems your in a rather dire predicament that could land you in prison for quite some time, especially since I'm no stranger to committing crimes myself."He explained to her while secretly putting a small invisible shield around himself, though it could not exactly be seen at this point unless Neila sent the fireball at him which it would pass harmlessly over the shield.

"Thought you might see it my way,"Erik remarked calmly before he turned, hearing the sounds of the approaching police and some of the k-9 unit howling when they seemed to catch a few scents. "Seems first we have some company to slow down."With that the Master of Magnetism focused on the metal in the area, which was mostly scrap metal, and began to bond it together to block a few of the alleys and knew those barricades would slow the police and firemen down long enough to escape.

"This way."He said as he began to Neila to a safer route then where she had come from, despite fact knowing she would be weary of the paths they took. None the less he wasn't trying to trick her in any way but he was trying to make sure she wasn't captured, for thing he did was look out for his own kind. "Well my dear, may I ask what it was that caused you to be in such trouble?"He asked.

Though Magneto had no intentions of doing anything or using this chance to have a favor of some kind he knew he wasn't trusted. Least not by everyone which he was relatively use to by now. He however, listened to what Neila explained to him wondering what would cause this young mutant girl to be living on the streets, but a life of crime was something he himself was familiar with. Heck, even the Brotherhood had done a great amount of crimes themselves but Magneto always had ways of making sure they were discreet or it was for their cause.

"So, you've had quite the difficult life haven't you."He said after she finished, still leading her around and being careful of other cops or firemen being around. But after a while he came across a street that was surely several blocks away from her previous location before he turned to the young fire manipulator. "Well then my dear, this is the end of the line for your escape. Your free from here and should give you a good start before they discover where you went.'He told her,"Although you might not be up for this proposal Neila, but your welcome to join my new Brotherhood if you wish. It'd mostly keep you off the streets, people to watch your back, and having to not worry about going to jail. Even if you were to it would not be for long."He offered to her, seeing she had quite a bit of potential. And he was sure his old friend Charles would agree.
