Personality: Jocelyn is very shy when it comes to meeting new people, she tends to be in a corner with a book and won't think twice about it. She can be feisty from time to time due to growing up in Chicago. She is very sweet and caring, when it comes to the people she loves she will fight until the end. She is a very loyal person, once you are on her side, she will constantly be there when you are in need. Once she knows you she opens up and shows her true self, which is a fun spontaneous teenage girl.

Appearance: Jocelyn is very unique when it comes to her appearance, she keeps her hair at a decent length and it is always black, never different. She wears what would come off as strange clothing, such as a kimono, light elegant clothing. Her skin is very pale and almost like a sculpture. When she is in battle her suit is tight fitting, with material hanging from her wrists connecting to her back, such as Storm's.

History: Jocelyn grew up with loving and supportive parents, they raised her the way any typical amercian family would raise a child. She lives at Chicago, were its tough on the streets, robberies happening and not to forget murders. One day when Jocelyn was fifteen, a man approached her and demanded that she gave him everything and anything he asked for, she stood up and said no. The man went towards her with a knife and as she let out a scream she closed her eyes and she thought she died until she opened her eyes and noticed that everything around her was frozen, as if they were wax figures. She ran home immediately, and told her parents what had happened.

Her mother sobbed as her father took her in his arms and accepted the fact that she was a mutant. As she turned sixteen, she observed that she could start hearing people's thoughts and could affect other's minds. She was soon offered to go to Jean Grey's School, her mother screamed and demanded that she needed to go, because she couldn't look at her daughter as a mutant. Her father teary eyed nodded and said it would be for the best. She took the offer and is looking forward to master her powers.


Powers: Chronokinesis is the ability to mentally alter time. With this ability, one could travel through time, control the speed of subjects' movement, slow down foes, and speed oneself up. One with this power could even accelerate or reverse the aging process on any subject one desires. This ability may also include the manipulation of space as well in accordance with the time-space continuum. She also has telepathy although it hasn't been fully developed, she can read people's thoughts and roughly alter thoughts.

Roleplay Sample: Jocelyn looked outside the observation tower at the birds flying by, the way the sun was slowly dipping downwards, Pendulum smiled as she looked at the sunset, this was perfection, nothing could change it. Jocelyn was still getting used to the school and decided to lone around, she wasn't ready yet to make friends but that is all she wanted, some friends. She heard someone's thoughts approaching her, she closed her eyes and slowed down time, she walked down the stairs to see who it was, she didn't know who the person was, she waved her hand and sped time back to its normal speed. "Hi, I am Jocelyn, or Pendulum, which ever you'd like to call me is fine with me."
