Playing with fire. ( Open)

Torus was the only son of Johnathan Storm and one other who had been his mother a member of the skrull empire who had wanted to work together with the Fantastic Four while they were in their golden years. Torus however had become a hybrid between the two races, one of which being part human and the other half exsisting of Skrull blood. Between his father and mother he was gifted with several powers, one of which was his father's plasma form and as well as his fire manipulation. Then on his mother's side he had her shapeshifting as he did very well from a young age to perfect the two techniques, of course he still had a long way to go, but he knew how to handle himself in a fight. As this time he also knew how to sneak out of the Future Foundation building as he hid himself away as a feral cat. No one would suspect it, of course if you have super keen senses that might have helped notice it a bit more obviously as a human was wondering around in a cat body.

As he walked down one street he could hear sharp cries and screams, almost like painful ones. His tail suddenly puffed in surprise as what he saw, a human was suddenly on fire? But he was sure he hadn't accidently done this, he knew this work hadn't been his. Otherwise if it was, his family would have been after him. However as he was distracted by the burning human one of the human policemen had spotted the shape shifting feline, believing that it was a true cat. "Go on, get out of here. Scram!" They called out. "You shouldn't be here anyways." He added as Torus gave him a hiss as he nearly avoided his shoe kicking him in the chest. He dashed down one of the alley ways, unaware that this was the same one that Neila had run down moments ago.

After a bit he began to slow down knowing that the police men weren't going to chase after a cat. But he ha began to realize that the day hadn't been as going according to plan as he had hoped. He sighed deciding to turn back into his human form hoping at least no one would recognize him. As he was in his human form he had the Future Foundation uniform as well, it was white in color along with the number seven on it for being the seventh member to join it. "Well today hasn't been going well, uh Torus? You nearly got kicked in the face for nothing." He muttered to himself as he began to walk down the alleyways, but also noticed how dark it was down here. Wondering if some fire would help light the pathway for him.

Torus noticed however he wasn't alone in this ally way as he noticed it belonged to a girl's. He got curious as he began to head towards it, though as it was getting darker with the lights failling to turn on he let his left hand burst into flame to let some light into the area. To be honest it didn't hurt him one bit as he let the flames continue to dance around his fist. "You can say that again. I guess we both got lost here." Torus said as he looked back seeing Neila. Though he wasn't entirely sure of what she would think of him, or vice versa. For now he just wanted to make sure that he got out of the ally way safely.

"Aw come on we're both stuck in an allyway together...As creepy as that sounds, we can try and both find our way out here." torus said as he changed into his plasma form as he flew after her. Torus however had no idea that he was right with a theif, or that she was the other user of the fire manipulation that had burned the man earlier. It hadn't quiet made any sense to him just yet as he tried to keep up with her. "By the way the name is Torus Storm." He added wondering if he should have said his name earlier the first time. Or if it would make any difference at all.

"Are you kidding me, I fly nearly every day. Every once in awhile you've got to stop and think of another way to get around. I mean if I didn't have my flying powers how else could I get out?" Torus asked as he flew near her, he also saw that her hand was on fire as she lit the way, well his whole body was on fire in this case. "And I never asked for your help," Torus added knowing that was not the case, "I guess maybe just wanted some company. I haven't seen a fire power user in a long time besides my father."

"I doubt that, this is the first time I've seen you around here." Torus said as he heard her sarcastic side. As he thought about earlier though he thought of something. Instead of flying himself out why couldn't he fly both of them out? He was sure he could pick her up easily, but would she object to it? He had a feeling that she was going to reject it. "You know I could lift us both out of here if you wanted me too. That would solve the problem for both of us." He offered.

"I never said that I was merely offering some help. But if you want to be stuck down here for some time that's your problem." Torus said as he crossed his arms starting to show that he was getting annoyed at the girl. From the looks of things she was a bit older than he was, no doubt as he was starting to end his teenager years by a few of them. He started to let her go as he remained there for a bit thinking to himself as he looked at one of his surroundings. However it seemed out of no where that a blast of water came from one of the sides, had one of the goones from earlier found him? Torus could not answer the question in time as the stream of water hit him on the side, the icy cold soon over powered him as he was knocked into him as he started to choke on it after accidently swallowing some.

"That time we got her. We're sure of it." The goon said as they hadn't figured it out yet as they came over to Torus' side who was still coughing to pick him up by one shoulder. He was certainly soaking wet, if anything he was bound to be at risk for getting a cold at this point. "What? you're not the girl! Where is she?" He asked as he started to put Torus up against the wall to show that he wasn't kidding this time also to corner the teenager.

Torus meanwhile felt his heart racing as he tried to cough up the last bit of water that was in his loungs as he tried to answer him, "I-I don't know...I lost her down one of the allyways." He said half telling the truth and half lying.

The attacks hit easily on this man as he was kicked to the side as he dropped Torus to the floor and let out a painful scream. He was expecting the man at least to make fun of him as he shook his head to try and get some of the water off of his body. The young boy pretty much looked normal except for the fact that he had pointed ears like an elf that had marked his skrull half. It had also gotten him the tormented nicknames that he didn't like such as 'elf boy.' when his cousins decided to bother or tease him.

"I still have my shapeshifting powers to you know." Torus said not really speaking to anyone directly at this point. He felt his body beginning to change as his cells moved into what he wanted too. His body soon becamef furry and much larger as he stood up right on his four legs now. He looked exactly like a large siberian tiger as he raced over towards the man in an attempt to strike or even bite him at this point.
