Garrett
Once again Garrett chuckled, knowing it was only annoying his fellow X-man since he had done that a few days before they had left. But he nodded when she asked about what Nate told him,"He showed me a way we could get ta the Fountain of Youth, but it's of da beaten path."He told her as they walked and shook his head. "But gonna take us at lease two days before we arrive ta dat cave entrance."He explained to her.
"We keep walking dis way and most we'll face are semi grassy hill side til we get ta a foot of a pretty steep mountain face. From dere da cave should be about fifteen feet up, but gonna require some climbing along da way."He explaining to her, hoping this might help ease the fact she might have felt left out. He was well aware Kitty was a capable young woman and no way would the Cajun leave her out of this.
James
"Thanks Luna and like I said don't pay him any mind, just someone looking to cause a scene."James said, deciding to also ignore Ajax since it wasn't worth getting into a fight with him especially since that's not what they were there for. They had a mission to complete and didn't need to be fighting among themselves so staying focused on the task at hand was better. Though her looked at Sarah as she once more was able to suggest her codename, having not gotten to answer before hand when Ajax butted in where he wasn't asked to.
Of course the story could be different if he hadn't been such a perverted jerk about the whole thing towards the two girls. "I think it's a great codename Sarah, maybe if you ever get your own suit you could have like a crown on it in an ice-like fashion."James suggested, though was partly joking knowing she might or might not take the idea. "But maybe one day all three of us could end up working as X-men."He added, smiling at the thought. But he was sure them and many of the students would eventually carry on the legacy of the X-men.
Carol
"Don't worry I'll definitely let you know if anything becomes too much, I promise."Carol answered to Pietro, beginning to calm down again since she normally didn't hold a temper for long. Unlike some she wasn't easily quick to anger but when she was frustrated maybe that was another story, especially when her powers acted up when they did. It just was annoying since it made her frustrated that she couldn't yet control her telepathy. But she nodded when Pietro remarked about continuing the search. "I jut hope they know where they're going, since we're veering off the path."
Nate Grey
With things having falling silent for now Nate continued to watch the back, seeing each of the group had someone to talk to and seemed to be calming down. Which was a good thing. The last thing they needed was to be upset, angry, or whatever emotion they felt instead of focusing on the task at hand. Nate had known this from his own experiences, especially when it came to trusting his teammates. He hoped here the X-men could trust and old Brotherhood member and the students could work as a team like their teachers. It was a big responsibility to be on such an important mission but it would certainly help them grow.
None the less the young man kept quiet, merely keeping an eye on things and knowing that they weren't completely in the clear. Even these mountains were not fully explored so who knew what could lie out here or even what.

Quicksilver "Alright I'll be paying attention." Pietro assured her knowing that they would need it. They were of course in an unfamiliar area, it wasn't New York where they knew every crack and corner on the streets. New York was his home, it had been there ever since his father had picked himself up and as well as his sister in order to come to join the Brotherhood. Otherwise he had spent the past maybe seventeen years in Europe?
"I believe so. It wouldn't be right for the X-Men to not know what they're doing. Unless they're just following by instinct." Quicksilver said knowing it was true for the X-Men. They always seemed to have a plan with them, if not they were a lost cause. Or was coming even to this area of the country not even worth it? Was the Fountain of Youth a fake? It was hard to say at this point, though Quicksilver wasn't exactly one to believe certain myths. Luna "You can say that again." Luna said as she ran a finger through her hair to move it out from her face. On occasions the wind came and moved it to where it was right infront of her eyes. But she nodded back to the others. Sarah did have a good name for herself, but she wasn't sure about her own. Her own was called Moonshard, obviously for her moon marking on her forehead. But other than that, there was really no reason for the name. It had no hint on her powers, nothing to do with the moon at all. It was just a codename so she had one. Maybe one day she could change it so it'd be better than the previous one, and people would recognize her much more obviously.
"Maybe it certainly would be cool. Plus we'd get our own suit too." Luna said knowing that each X-Man had their own suit that they had for themselves. It also matched each one of their personalities of course too. Though she would have several years to go before she had her own chance for an X-Men member. It would be worth the wait.

Kitty Kitty nodded as she listened as Garrett told her what Nate had shown him. Though she kinda wished he would have told her at the same time as well. Though she guessed it was becuse she was letting her nurves get the better of her. Though two whole days just to get to the cave? Well she knew this was not going to be easy. Kitty then sighed and looked forward, "I see.. Well we knew this was not going to be easy.." Kitty said as she took out what look like some sort of GPS but Kitty made it to better see the area around them. She then turned it on and started to watch the screen as they walked. Sarah Sarah smiled when James and Luna liked the idea of her code name. And she smiled even more at James's idea for a crown made in ice-like fashion. Yeah that would be soo cool! She then smiled at James, " Ya know? I like that idea. A crown that looks like it made out of ice. Yeah I will so do that. Thanks for the idea James." Sarah said happily. She could have just hugged James for that but that could end up being awkard though.. Sarah then also noticed as they seemed to be going off the beaten path. She knew finding the founten was not going to be easy.. But she rather have a path to be able to walk on.. Just what in the world did that strange guy tell Kitty and Garrett?? Sarah then looked back at Nate for a few minutes as if she was thinking. "Hey guys I think I'm going to go talk to that guy.. I don't know about you but I would like to know who may be woirking with us. As it seems he is coming along.." Sarah said and then started to walk back over to Nate not waiting to hear what the other X-students had to say about that idea. As she walked back Sarah looked at Quicksilver, she smiled at him waving as she walked past. though still unsure if he remembred her or not. She then looked right at Nate, when she reached him she started to walk next to him and looked up at him. "Hello, I'm Sarah, whats your name?" She asked. yeah it was lame but it was the only thing she could think of.

Garrett
"I know it's frustrating Kitty, but we gotta keep trying, for da Professor's sake."Garrett told her, gently resting a hand of reassurance on her shoulder. Though this time it was of genuine support to help ease Kitty in her worries. But he had to admit he to was a little worried, worried for what would lie ahead of them and to what could be waiting. If the fountain were real the Cajun highly doubted it would be so easy to get to and that a difficult path would be the only way.
No, there had to be more to this. Several scenarios filled Garrett's head, particularly those of chancing to run into the infamous yeti who were said to inhabit the Himilayas. What if they were true? If so, would they really stand a chance? Mentally shaking these thoughts aside he decided to worry about that later as they were coming to the steep side Nate had told him about but could see it was beginning to get dar. "Think we outta stop 'ere for da night Kitty."
James
James was actually a little surprised when Sarah said his idea was a good one, since he had really been mostly joking about it. But hey if she liked it then more credit to her that's for sure,"Well think we'll eventually have a suit to our liking."James said with a slight smile to both girls. Though he did wonder if they truly would work together in the future, being future X-men was a nice idea to think of but it was the fact they would be able to become them officially is what was the hard part.
As with any team they had to earn their way onto the team, but unfortunately not everyone could prove they were able to be that team at all. Though he looked back when Sarah said she was going to talk to Nate,"Be careful Sarah."He said after her before looking back at the neyaphem next to him."Hey Luna, are you looking forward to finding the Fountain of Youth?"He asked her curiously but could see they had stopped after a while,which James was secretly hoping to stop for the night since it was getting to be dark.
Carol
Carol nodded but could sense Pietro's doubt about the Fountain of Youth possibly existing, which she was sure most of them were at this point. It just seemed an almost impossible task to find such a legend. Many had searched many areas of the globe and had been unsuccessful while there were legends it had been found before. But even the young neyaphem was a bit skeptical about this one. "You know Pietro, this has seemed a little too easy I have to admit. I just wonder if we're chasing something few have claimed to find."She sighed.
Though she was glad that they seemed to be stopping for the night since Carol could feel herself a little tired from the long journey already. But they still had some ways to go yet.
Nate
For a while Nate was quiet as he enjoyed the silence, quite content to do this since this was now a common thing for the young man. But his attention turned towards Sarah who was walking towards the back. At first he thought she might be going to talk to Pietro and Carol before she merely waved at the speedster and came towards him. Well that wasn't something he was expecting at all though none the less it only made him smile in greeting when she was walking beside him.
"It's nice to meet you Sarah, my names Nate."Nate said with a kind smile to her, peering down at the younger teen. "I hope your enjoying your trip so far Sarah, I know it has to be a pretty exciting feeling going on your first mission."He added, just to strike up a conversation.

Quicksilver "You probably sensed my doubts then. I have heard a lot of myths, even my father tried searching for one or two of them and was unsuccessful on it. Not to mention I'm not one to really believe in fantasy things, no offense if it hurt you." Pietro said explaining on what he believed in. It was mostly because of his past, he hadn't really had the child hood to believe in flying horses or anything along the mythical era. He was mostly focusing on preventing his family from starving, if things were a bit more peaceful they may have gotten a bit better and would have had more time with them. However his train of thought was changed as he saw Sarah quickly move through the line as she was heading straight for Nate. He nodded back towards her, already he was considering the young X-Men a friend after their first meeting. She didn't seem so bad at all. "But knowing that the Professor sent you guys on this trip I have a feeling he knows something we don't. I think it would have been kind of a waste if there was nothing up here. And we may find out what the Professor was looking for." Pietro said wondering if it made any sense to Carol as he spoke. He seemed to handle going on the trip a bit more. He was used to these with the Avengers, but no doubt he'd sleep well tonight from the long travel. Sometimes he didn't get a lot of sleep on some nights after being so anxious about things, but that hadn't happened in a long time. Luna "See you later Sarah." Luna said as she bid good bye to their fellow team mate. Her tail flicked gently as she put a hand through her hair to make sure it wouldn't blow in her face again. Sometimes that was getting annoying as she tried to see with it blowing in her face. Maybe it ws time to cut it again? It wasn't that long and maybe all she had to do was put it up in a bun in order to keep it out of her way. Then her train of thought turned as she heard ames speak up again, she kept quiet since he had been mostly talking with Sarah. "Yeah it'd be something cool to see. It's not every day you see a myth come true. Of course it'd have to be our secret if we wanted to come back." Luna said knowing it was possible to happen. They were all young and had years to go before they needed to go to the Fountain of Youth. It would be something to consider if they wanted to stay around a bit more. The world was changing as they spoke and more opportunities lay at hand if they did stay around a lot more.

Kitty Kitty looked at her GPS like thing and sure enough there was a cave and it was very well hidden, even if you where looking for it with the naked eye you would not have spotted it. When Garrett placed his hand on her shoulder she looked up at him a smiled, yeah he may like to joke around but he also knew when it was time to act like a X-men. " I know Garrett.. I'm also just worried for the studets.. But I must trust they will do well. For the professor would not have oicked them in the first place." Kitty said as she looked at her GPS again studying it so she would be able to spot the cave when they came to it. Though it was soon getting dark and as if he was reading her mind Garrett said it was best to stop for the night. Kitty nodded and looked at him. "Alright it is getting dark after all." She said then turned to the others. "Ok guys we are stopping her tonight. Lets set up camp." Kitty said as she started to set things up. Sarah Sarah blinked as Nate spoke, just from that she felt like he was a lot like Lance.. Kind and strong as well as smart. That helped the young teen feel more relaxed about him. Sarah then smiled and nodded, "Nice to meet you too Nate. though.. If you don't mind me asking.. Why where you out in the middle of nowhere in the first place? Sarah asked, if she was being to bold and Nate did not want to say anything she would understand. Seeing as it was really none of her busniss anyway.

Garrett
"I know mon amie, they'll be fine. Dey are some tough kids after all and I have a feeling things will get better."Garrett said with a nod after they began to unpack their things and set up camp. But the young Cajun sure knew he wouldn't be staying up too long, in fact he felt dead tired from all the excitement. Between the chance of getting to the fountain, finding a possible new ally, and the journey his body had never felt so tired since he trained for hours on end most of the time. This was definitely a good time to get some early rest and wake up early tomorrow.
James
"Yea that true, I'd certainly want to note this on a map and maybe come back later in life when we're old and starting to ware down. But we'll still have a long time to wait."James agreed, imagining what it would be like to live for several years more. Who knew what kind of change the world would be in by then. Though the main reason James had accepted coming on this mission was because myths and legends like this fascinated him greatly, and to discover one long since been thought only a myth made him incredibly eager to prove it was real.
Though sadly the darkness had come faster then he thought it might and both Garrett and Kitty had noted this and they stopped for the night. "Guess it's time for a long rest, been a pretty exciting day."James remarked softly, before he set his pack down and began to unpack some things. Though he was definitely looking forward to tomorrow.
Carol
Carol nodded her understanding, having never really looked too deeply into the myths and legends much like the Fountain of Youth they were after. For one it didn't really interest her that much and she never really had much of a chance to explore an interest as that. Sure she may not have been starving but it still had been difficult growing up. Now they were likely going after something that did exist? It didn't change her own skeptical view that this may just be a fairy tale they were chasing.
Though could the Professor know something they didn't? If he did why would he hide it? It made Carol frown slightly in thought as she hoped the Professor's hopes wouldn't be shattered in finding nothing. "I just hope this is all worth it Pietro, sometimes such things are never worth the trouble."She said to him as she too showed she wasn't quite sure if they were simply chasing something non-existent. Again she could only trust her fellow students and the two X-men that they would be successful.
Nate
"Well I came in search of a place to meditate in solitude, it's that or I often just travel."Nate explained to Sarah, not seeming to mind at all explaining himself to someone who might be curious. "You see as I told them I am not from this dimension, more of an alternate one that I think you would rather not want to see."He told her, his voice having a slightly serious side to it but he wasn't surprised when they decided to stop since it was getting dark. "Though I can probably explain more in the morning since we seem to be settling for the night."

Quicksilver Quicksilver nodded in agreement he hoped as well that this was certainly a trip worth going on. As he looked back he could see some of the other people starting to settle down for the night. "Yeah I agree with that. It'll hopefully be something that we remember for a long time." He said as he saw that they were stopping. "It looks like we're stopping for the night. I brought a few things but I wanted to stay light since I knew we'd be walking a lot. I brought a small tent with me." Quicksilver said as he brought the backpack forward and unziped it to show some of the items that he brought as it was a folded tent inside it. It could have fit at least two people but it was going to be crowded if they attempted it. The last thing that he wanted to try though was to sleep with Carol since he knew the others would get mad at him, they were already making him on edge in the X-Mansion all the time, he wasn't going to try anything new. Luna "Yeah I guess so." Luna added as she looked up at one of the trees that was nearby. "No offense or anything but I think I'm sleeping in a tree tonight. I know it sounds kind of wierd but I've done it before on camping times." Luna said and it was mostly out of safety for another reason that she liked to do it. She felt far more comfortable in a tree than on the ground. It was like it was out of instinct. And since they had plenty of trees it didn't seem that hard to find one.

Kitty It did not take lomg for Kitty to set up her small tent, she had packed light when it game to camping gear. When she was done she went around and helped the others if they needed it. When everyone was done she looked over everything once more and studied her GPS again, She then put her tech away and looked at everyone. "Alright guys when you are ready go right to bed, we all need the rest we get we have a long walk ahead of us... And stay close do not sleep to far away from each other oh and... Girls sleep near girls and boys sleep near boys...
" Kitty said looking at everyone so not to single someone out. And with that Kitty turned in for the night. Sarah Sarah listened as Nate spoke and her eyes grew wide in shock when he said he was from alternate dimension to this one. But from the sounds of it she did not want to go there. Though after talking to Nate just for this short time Sarah felt like she could trust him and had nothing to worry about. Though she looked over at Kitty when she said they where stopping for the night and looked back at Nate and nodded, "Alight, I can't wait to hear more. See you in the morning." Sarah said with a smile and made her way back to the rest of the group and started to set up her small tent as well. When she was ready Sarah went in and started to go to sleep.

Note:To speed things up slightly I went ahead and did a two day time skip,from here on out it's all about imagination, navigation, and finding the fountain. Oh, and some guardians as well,so watch for Yetis >:3 Garrett
Roughly two days went by, and though it had been a difficult walk and climb to the cave they had finally found it. But Garrett stood at the mouth of the cave with his fellow X-man Kitty, the students, Quicksilver, and their newest adventure companion Nate. He seemed uneasy about the cave somehow, feeling that this wasn't going to be very easy from here on out, something just felt off. Not to mention the darkness would make it impossible to find their way through this place as tunnels like these could go on and on forever in many twists and turns. They couldn't get lost now, not when they got so far.
Though Garrett could use his kinetic manipulation eventually he would have to relieve it before someone got hurt. And it would be a bad situation to do so when they were surrounded by rock and cause a cave in. "Well dis is da place, but now we gotta figure out a way ta light dis place up otherwise we'll get lost pretty easily."He said so the others could hear, looking back in wonder of what to do since he couldn't think of any of them who could help them. That was until James came forward.
James
These last two days had been unusual for James. His powers seemed to be stronger, he felt somehow being around the area where some aurora borealis showed somehow made them powerful and he had noticed last night parts of his body becoming a pure aurora-like aura and becoming more in-tuned to the magnetic fields. Somehow being here was making his powers change somewhat. But as they traveled James had kept this to himself, mostly for the fact to confirm it wasn't just his imagination but it wasn't. He could feel the change, see it, sense it...this was no trick of the mind.
Though when being at the cave James was doubtful they would go on, not when it was so dark and would be very difficult to navigate. But maybe they just needed a good light source which flash lights eventually wouldn't be much use and not everyone had them. Not to mention the quality could be bad and everyone would be stumbling or bumping into the other which would make some already irritatable people even more so. Just maybe...
"Mr.Feroce I'll do it,"James spoke up as he stepped forward knowing perhaps he could be of use. "This may seem odd but I can maintain a light form my aura for quite some time it can help us save the batteries for the flash lights we have. And in all honesty my powers have been stronger since we got here, I can just feel somehow I might be of use here."He told him as he let his aurora like aura appear, which actually seemed bolder and brighter then before and moved in a wave-like motion changing in various green hues and so would his eyes at times.
Carol
As those two days went by Carol couldn't help feeling more and more uneasy, especially when she could have sworn she was beginning to sense something off. Somehow when trying to concentrate Carol could become aware of others from a distance, that is super beings or unnatural ones more specifically. Though some minds she came across seemed animal like and ancient,also very protective and hostile. They were very faint however, being hard to pinpoint. Least at first.
But now as they got to the cave entrance she could sense these minds off and on, but the thoughts were more active and even more on guard and hostile then before. Someone or something was going to be waiting for them and suddenly the Fountain of Youth was feeling more and more real by the passing hour. 'I wonder if we really should continue, there isn't something right about this anymore, legend or not.'Carol thought to herself but kept her mouth shut when it came to her thoughts. "Least we won't be completely blind."She said softly, glad to see someone could be able to help them when it came for a light source.
Nate
Much like Carol Nate had been sensing something as well, but much more clearly then the amateur telepath. They were indeed animal-like, hostile minds but they were also showing a group animal's intellect to be on guard. And with being so close it seemed these beasts were sensing their presence and the young man was beginning to somewhat regret showing them the way. The Fountain of Youth was going to be well guarded and this tunnel would be child's play compared to what likely lied ahead. He almost didn't want to express his concerns since he was doubtful it would deter them from accomplishing this mission in getting some of the water and helping the Professor to be somewhat younger again.
But they had to know, or at least the two X-men and single Avenger since they were the oldest and most experienced. Reaching out he touched all three's minds so only they would hear him,'Garrett, Kitty, Pietro I don't know if your young friend there Carol has sensed this yet but this is going to be another easier part compared to what lies in wait at the Fountain. I've been sensing some kind of creatures down there and I think they're aware of our presence, I think it's best we keep sharp. The students will pick up on it quickly, they have some sharp minds.'Nate told them, having a telepathic link between all four of them so they could speak to each other and him freely. 'Then dat mean we're going ta have quite a challenge on our hands.'Garrett remarked, Nate seeing some slightly tension in his body language now.

Quicksilver
Two days had passed and it was more like they had happened in a blink of an eye. They had done a lot and Pietro was doing his best to stay with Carol. Often times they hung out in the back of the line where all eyes weren't on them. Plus Pietro was still feeling edgy with some of the X-Men members here. At least not with Kitty, things had simmered down a bit, or they just hadn't come in contact with each other. Pietro also had a funny feeling about this place, ever since he set foot on the land from running across the water. There was just something that wasn't right about it, and he couldn't put his finger on what it was.
But at least he wasn't alone on picking up whatever it was making the group feel uneasy. He felt Nate's thoughts in his mind as he was getting used to the telepathy, he had talked back and forth occasionally with Carol but it was hard sometimes. The constant raging of thoughts that went on in his head it made it look like his own mind was part of a never ending whirlwind. He wondered sometimes how Carol put up with it. 'I agree with that one. Both of us have been feeling something. I can't figure out what it is, but there's just something not right about this place.' Quicksilver said to Nate as he looked back with his sharp blue eyes to the front of the group to see how they were doing. Though one thing did dawn on him, nothing should surprise him on this trip, it was full of legends and stories, if they were looking for mythological events to happen, they might as well with one of the oldest legends in the world.
Luna
Luna meanwhile had been keeping a pace with the middle of the group as she was with the other students. She had seen Sarah a few times but it seemed that she mostly kept to herself. She was shy sometimes and it often left her alone. She had been climbing from tree to tree as she was with the other group members. That was until she ran out of room to jump she finally went down on to the ground nearby. She landed with ease with a slight thud and landed on her back two toed feet and her tail kept up her balance.
However she was closer to James as the light that he created from his aura power made her shut her eyes. She hadn't been so used to it just yet as she had to close them for a bit. Her different colored eyes recovered a few seconds later as she opened up them up again. Not once had she seen more of a fantastic green before, she wanted to look at it with curiousity at once. But what if James found the stare a bit awkward. After the conversation that James had, Luna started to go closer to him. "What kind of power is that James? It's a very pretty green I'll have to admit." She asked him. Though there was a bit of nervousness in her voice for some reason and it could be seen in her pointed tail as she flicked it occasionally. For one thing, she was going to blame it on her shy side, it was normal for her.

Kitty Ugh how tired Kitty was from the last few days. She had not gotten much sleep ether. But she did her best not to let that show. When the reached the mouth of the cave like everyone else she came to a stop and looked it over. She may not have the powers everyone else does but she too could feel something about this cave.. Something that made her feel uneasy. When Nate spoke to her with his powers that just made her even more uneasy and more worried about the students. She was starting to wonder if it was a good idea to breing them after all.. Kitty then shook her head, no the Professor hand picked them himself he would nit have picked them if he was not sure they could handle it. As everyone talked among themsleves Kitty started playing with her tech and was able to make some sort of map with a scanner she had on her. Though she looked up when James spoke up and was glowing, offering to light the way for them. Kitty smiled and nodded, " Sounds like a plan James, just don't over to it. Even if you are getting power here you still should not push yourself." Kitty said to the young student. She then looked ar everyone else, "Alight, lets head in and make sure to be on the look out."" Kitty said as she started to walk into the cave. Sarah Ugh why had she peen picked for this again? All this climing and walking was going end up killing her then anything else... But The Professor had picked her for a reason so she was not going to let him down. When they came to the cave Sarah looked it and gulped, not to thrilled about having to go in there... In that darkness you never knew what would be lurking. But she was with a good team so she did not have to worry to much but something did make her uneasy and it did not help that everyone else seened uneasy even though Kitty and Garrett where trying to hide it she could still see it.. As the other's spoke Sarah said nothing and just watched. And smiled when James stepped up to help out with his powers. And to help him a little Sarah walked yp to the front and placed her hand on his shoulder. " Nice James, that is a good idea." Sarah said then she too right behind Kitty started to walk into the cave.

Garrett
"Just be careful where you walk,"Garrett said to James, and those who may end up walking with him and began to head into the cave. But even he had to express some concern for this uneasy feeling all of them seemed to be getting, and Nate's thoughts sent to them wasn't helping. What could it be that was making this place suddenly feel so hostile? Were the legends of the beasts that lied here true after all? The thought of running into the infamous yeti made Garrett inwardly shudder at the thought.
With this in mind Garrett decided a slight change among the group might be needed. "Kitty, dis may sound odd but I think we outta shift our positions. Me and you take da sides, Nate and Pietro can keep a watch on da back."He told her, part of his serious expression somewhat visible from the light given off by James' aurora.
James
Nodding slightly James began to keep to the front as they began walking, finding himself somewhat nervous still. But he glanced at either of the two girls as they spoke to him, blushing lightly at their comments,"Thanks you two."He said, referring to Luna's comment of liking the colors and of Sarah's comment to the use of his powers being a good idea. "And to answer your question Luna it's called Aurora Generation, it allows me to generate and manipulate the similar properties of an aurora."James explained to the neyaphem, glad to get his mind off his uneasiness but had also noticed she seemed rather nervous though wondered why. And as they walked his aurora aura seemed to cast out on the floor, walls, and roof giving them quite a bit of light to be able to travel with. It seemed some of the training with Emma Frost had paid off, especially with them not going haywire the last few days.
Carol
As they began to walk into the cave Carol's uneasy feelings showed more now as her fur seemed to stand up on end. Though this was mostly from sensing them from this far away and going in they still seemed hostile, more so now as they were entering further and further into the caves. But it seemed everyone was beginning to get on edge as their uneasy feelings were obvious, and the young neyaphem found it wasn't exactly helping. Especially with the teachers and Pietro being rather nervous despite not wanting to show it. What was it that was hostile towards them? Were they guardians or perhaps as Garrett was thinking yetis?
In all honest she really didn't want to think about it at all. It was making her actually want to just turn back and wait right there until they got back. Carol's pacifist nature though was what was compelling her to rather stay out of a possible fight while her conscious spoke more strongly that it would be wrong to abandon her team and friends. So she stayed but at the same time instinctively kept close to the speedster mutant.
Nate
'Then I think it's best we keep on our toes.'Nate said to them telepathically as they began to walk, keeping farther to the back just in case of unsuspecting dangers lurking about. Though the minds he was sensing, and possibly Carol, seemed of large creatures not small ones that could get to them. But that didn't mean small ones were lurking about as many insects, reptiles, and bats were cave dwellers. No doubt they would likely run into them at some point. Maybe they might come across the fabled giant centipede that was suppose to be rather large in length, larger then the already known Peruvian giant centipede. Now that wouldn't be a good thing as they wouldn't stand much of a chance.
Perhaps Nate should have suggested his teleportation instead of letting James take to using his powers? Maybe, but he may have to save his strength for something of an emergency, such as them getting hurt, lost, or needing to make a quick escape. He just hoped nothing back would truly come of this. "Hey if you guys don't mind me suggesting I can give us a good head start and teleport us a good portion of the way."He suggested.

Luna "Oh, so that's what it's called." Luna said. "Still I'm sure it's a very useful power at times." She added as she thought about it. Nearly every power was useful when she thought about it. There wasn't a single one that she couldn't think of that would help out a mutant or even a human at this case. They just needed to understand how to use it, just as she and the others did. Such as even in the beginning she did not like her gravity manipulation or even her darkness manipulation. But even now, she hadn't found a single reason to use either of them. "I think everyone's starting to feel this nervousness James. Even I do." Luna said as she felt her fur standing up a bit almost bristling out as they continued to move in the darkness. Luna was used to the darkness on many occasions as her eyes could see through some of it. But in the thickest of darkness she was not good in it at all. She would have to rely on something else for a source of light, and it seemed that James' powers were the best option. Quicksilver "It's bothering you isn't it?" Pietro asked as he heard Nate's warning over in their thoughts. "Something is bothering you at least." Pietro added as he came over to her side and put a hand against Carol gently. "If you want I can give you a speedy escape. I know you told me before you don't like to fight a whole lot." He offered not sure if Carol would want it. But the option still stood if that was what she wanted to do. For now he would remain by her side to see if he could comfort her. Pietro would do his best to protect Carol, it was like what he had done with Wanda all those years ago. He protected her for years, so this wouldn't be any different. "I think that would be the best for now." Pietro added as he heard Nate speak again. It would give them a much quicker transport, although Pietro could use it, he couldn't carry the whole group with him. If he was lucky, he would have been able to carry two people with him but any more than that would have been trouble.

Kitty frowned a little as Sarag started to walk ahead of the group. it was good she was being brave but it was foolish to walk into the darkness like that. "Sarah, don't walk ahead of us stay with the group." Kitty warned. Sarah stopped blinked and looked back at Kitty, and gave a sheepish smile. " Heheheh..... Sorry guess I was just getting over excited." She said giving a slight blush. Yes like everyone else she was nervos but she was not going to let fear stand in the way. Sarah then walked back to the group. Though when Nate said he could teleport them half way both Kitty and Sarah looked back at him. "Teleport? That would be cool." Sarah said with a smile. Kitty also smiled and nodded, "That sounds like a good idea Nate if you can lets do that. We need to hurry for the professor's sake." Kitty said and looked at everyone else.
