Nate
When Nate heard James, Garrett, and Carol also give their agreements he nodded and came to a stop with them, cracking his knuckles. "Alright everyone this will feel a little weird but it'll help."He assured them before his left eye glowed an electric blue, tapping into the dimension rifts within Earth. It took a moment before finally a kind of rip in the ground open beneath the entire group and engulfed them in a slightly blinding light. A few moments passed before another rift opened quarter way away from their intended destination and at last the light disappeared.
With this done Nate's eye stopped glowing before he blinked a few times to adjust to the dim changing lights of James' aurora. "Well that wasn't so bad, least we're..."He paused as he heard a few grunting growls echo through the caves now and the minds even closer then ever. "We're closer to our destination."He finished, his tone becoming somewhat concerned and serious.
Garrett
The young cajun looked down as those few minutes passed by and the rift opened beneath them, half expecting to fall through. Instead it seemed to come up and engulf them, making it somewhat blinding and difficult to see. And just teleporting felt like he was trapped in some other dimension or like he left his body. In reality he was there, fully intact until they arrived once more in the caves and taking a moment to recover. Now that was just a dizzying way to travel. "I think I'll stick ta walking next time."He said rubbing his head slightly, and looking around before hearing the growls that made his entire body tense.
So there was something there, or some things. His entire skin seemed to crawl with goose bumps, knowing full well now that they would be facing something very much out of legend. Or was it a common creature they knew existed and was a chosen guardian of this place? It could actually be either but that didn't make things any less concerning and especially so in knowing if the students were ready.
James
When they had teleported James felt a similar sensation as Garrett, at first feeling like they had completely left the Earth, the dimension even. And in a sense they had since it seemed Nate opened a dimensional rift. Was the man really that powerful? If so just how strong? It amazed James there were people like Nate, Xavier, and even some of the other X-men or even Magneto. It made him somewhat hopeful that perhaps despite how powerful anyone could get they really could be of good use. Where as at one point James had been uncertain of being a mutant and had been genuinely afraid even though he hid it at first. But now he was still maintaining the glow of his aurora without something happening.
And when they once more appeared in the caves he really couldn't be more happy to know they now just had a quarter way to go. That was until the echoing sounds made him completely freeze up. "We're going to face whatever is down there?"He asked, almost sounding somewhat regretting coming this way. What if them, the students, weren't ready? What if they couldn't bring down such an enemy like the yeti? It made him shudder at the thought since they were incredibly powerful and known to be quick. But there was really no turning back as Garrett nodded and they began to walk again.
Carol
As soon as her feet touched the cave again Carol's fur bristled to it's highest, making her look truly like a fuzzy demon or elf. The feeling was stronger, angry, protective...they had treaded too quickly on whatever was serving as the guardian or guardians down there. The echoing growls only further proving something hostile was waiting. "I don't think making a run for it is an option anymore Pietro."Carol answered him, having not had that chance before they teleported through the dimensional rift Nate had created. But it was obvious even she was scared more so then most.
