Arminius found himself just wandering about, once more finding his way to Mutant Town. It was rather nice here, and in a strange way he felt more at home here than at his real home. Maybe it was due to the fact that his Step-Mother didn't know he came here or that he was a mutant. Though she already hated him enough to where if she was a mutant hater or not, it wouldn't make much of a difference in his mind. She'd still hate him no matter what.
All he could do was wander around and look about. After all, he really didn't have any money with him; no surprise there. So it was all up to wandering to see what could be learned. True, just being anywhere besides home was interesting and much more better. Plus, it was only his Step-mother who was home, no one would notice he was gone.

The last time he had gone on a walk he managed to get attacked by his own father. Pietro was not intending on letting that happen again. The speedster had recovered from the incident and didn't want more trouble to come his way. Why couldn't he live normaly for a change? Well that had been answered for him, he couldn't be normal. Thanks to his super human speed and other mutant powers.
However he froze as he heard a nearby woman scream, that didn't entirely surprise him. In New York you were bound to get mugged by someone as he turned, two guys were starting to flee from the area. Most people couldn't have caught up with the muggers since they were going rather fast. But he could keep up with him. The speedster wasn't wearing his uniform at the time but he didn't need it in order to be a hero. He sped forward as he punched one of the guys in the face before they even knew what happened, and while he had been distracted he took the woman's purse. All he saw was a blinding green and white blur.
"Next time you try and steal something, make sure you pay attention to where you are first. You're in a town where mutants thrive." Pietro said as the man was down in pain. The punch he had thrown was something that he had learned from Captain America when the soldier had trained him to be a better fighter. If you were lucky enough you could punch one guy in the right spot, and he'd be down instantly. Though it seemed like someone had been watching the event, or at least had been nearby. A young boy was standing near the event as it happened that he had not seen before.

Arminius wasn't able to get out of his Step-mother's glaring gaze all that much. So normally, he was kept away from things like this. Seeing the fast mutant punch a guy which caused them to be on the ground in a moment, was a great change for the boy. Not really sure on what to think, Arminius left Pietro's line of sight, though he didn't really go far. Just a few steps over to where part of a building would just block the speedster's view.
What should he do? Honestly that guy had a right to punch the other as Arminius had seen. Though, he really wasn't sure on what to say to the guy. Not really a easy way for a kid to start talking to someone after they watch that someone, punch another guy.

It wasn't long before Pietro returned the purse to the woman, for all he knew. She looked normal and might have not been a mutant. Then again some powers weren't so obvious like his were. Pietro could do his best to hide them, but having a father who wanted to take over the world wasn't exactly helpful. Then he returned back to where he saw the young boy trying to retrace his steps. He remembered seeing the kid run behind one of the buildings so he'd have to look there for him. Finally Pietro was insight of the boy again as he spoke up and remained calm "Heay sorry if I startled you earlier with that fight. I guess I had too much surprise on my side." Pietro said as he was using his calm voice for now. If the boy wanted to flee he'd let him. If not he would let him stay and talk for a bit.

Well the man didn't come after him right away. Maybe that was a good thing? It showed that the guy was most likely not a bad guy. Though the man soon returned and started speaking. Okay, he wasn't threatening to punch his head in, so that helped Aminius to relax.
"I'm just not used....to seeing that stuff. I...I don't come here often." Arminius replied. "It's okay. Just out of my element you could say."
True in a way but he was in the right place for himself. He was a mutant after all, this place was Mutant Town.

"Oh that's understandable." Pietro said as he took something out of his pocket. "One of the reasons why I did that was...because I'm an Avenger. A hero. And I just couldn't leave that family like that. Have you heard of them? The Avengers?" He asked the young kid as he took out the card. There was the familiar A on it that marked the team with their symbol. Stark had hand crafted each one of them so an Avenger would have one and be able to contact the team when necessary, or even get into the Avengers building. If he lost that he was going to get into trouble. But it didn't hurt showing it to a little kid, right?

Arminius nodded his head. Yeah, he heard of the Avengers. Didn't see any of them in real life though. Just news clippings and he knew that there was a long list of em. He didn't see many of them, so it wasn't a surprise to him that he didn't know Pietro was one of them right off the bat. Arminius's gaze went to the card, looked real but how was he to know? He never saw the Avenger's card before.
"Understandable then, since you're just doing your job." Arminius said as he turned his gaze back to Pietro.

As Pietro put away his card back in his pocket, he looked back at Arminius. Nodding back to him agreeing. That's right he was just doing his job. "By the way my name's Quicksilver, or if you prefer my real name it's Pietro." Quicksilver said. He was trying to find some way to talk to the boy. Then again it might not have been a good choice. He was a total stranger but he proved now that he could be trusted as he had been a hero. Obviously he wasn't like the famous ones like Ironman or Captain America, he still had a name out there for himself.

"I'm Arminius, though if it's easier for you just call me Armin." Arminius answered, giving a polite smile.
People had a hard time saying his name, so Armin was what most called him. His Step-mother would say his name all the way, but there was always bitterness in it so that might've helped her to say his name correct all the way. Besides, Armin was a good nick name, if she ever gave him one it would be something he hated.
"So, how often do you come out here when not on hero duty?" Arminius asked, a okay question....maybe.

"it's nice to meet you Armin." Pietro said as he looked the boy over. He couldn't have been more than fourteen or thirteen years old from the looks of things. His daughter Luna was younger than he was, she was probably about nine or ten now that he thought about it. But he couldn't go back to that life unfortunately, he was pretty much an unwelcomed guest in the Inhumans.
Armin spoke up and asked his question about how often he went out, which he realized was quiet often. He wasn't really one to be known to stay indoors all that long. He couldn't be forced down for long. "I go out a few times a week. I'm not exactly a person who can be held down for sometime. Even if I get injured." Pietro said knowing it was true. It was probably thanks to his super human speed power.

"A bit risky ain't it? Going out with a injury?" Arminius asked.
Arminius sneaked off in the past when hurt, though he knew it was nothing near what Pietro most likely got. A few bruises would be what Arminius got, Pietro most likely had broken bones and worse things. Normally Arminius preferred to stay in, read a nice book or work on his stories. Sadly though, his Step-mother made that rather hard to do with all her hissing.

"Yeah I suppose it was. I didn't go that far from where I was resting though. A quick jog or walk was probably the closest I ever got." Pietro said with a soft nod. Even his girlfriend Carol had kept him indoors while he wanted to stay out. But she obviously had more sense than he did to when it came to that. He was sure that the other Avengers were willing to try and block the doorways so he couldn't get out.
He however did somewhat understand the secluded life that Arminius had been through. He had to be that way in order to keep his sister alive wen they were younger. They had to be careful where they went and what they did as they were always in for causing trouble. Even on more than one occasion they had to flee that part of the country in order to try and be safe again. For now he was just glad he had a team that could accept him and his sister. Well he couldn't exactly say he was out of his father's wrath, for the most time he was out of his father's way. And Pietro wasn't about to head towards Genosha any time soon to seek his father.

"Well...no harm in that then.... I guess." Arminius said, his voice showed that he wasn't sure just like how he worded his sentence.
A shrug left the boy as he stood there. What to do? Arminius wasn't all that great at figuring this kind of thing out. He rarely got to talk to other people.
"So...now what?" Arminius asked as he pushed off the wall and stood there.
It looked a bit weird. Seeing a kid talking to a older person. Eh oh well.

"Yeah, you're right on that one." Pietro said agreeing with Arminius as he spoke with Arminius. He did have to admit that it was a bit strange that he was talking with the young boy. He just seemed different. Maybe he would be a possible Avenger in the future? It could happen. In fact, just about anything was possibly in this age. There had been so many opportities, for mutants and humans a like if they just tried.
However Pietro stiffened as he heard a voice again nearby him, it seemed like the grunts that he had taken the purse from earlier had recovered from the incident. "Heay Armin can you excuse me for a bit while I teach these two a lesson? Again apparently." Pietro asked hoping he didn't mind. Plus he was the only thing standing in Armin's way from being attacked if they got too close. Little did he know that this boy had mutant powers. "Heay there's that mutant earlier that kicked our buts. You may be fast quicky but you don't have the strength." The grunt yelled back at him in rage. From the looks of things they were both wearing black and as well as black masks to cover their faces. He could tell that they were asking for trouble and strength did not mean everything in fight. He had learned that himself.

"Go ahead." Arminius said. "You should do your job. Though, it would be best if they took your advice this time."
Arminius gave a smile as he finished the last sentence. He was trying to be funny but it most likely didn't work. He had a hard time making jokes of any kind. Plus, he saw no reason to detour Pietro from his job; even though he wasn't in costume it didn't matter.
The boy did have powers but he never used them really save for when he was practicing. Plus, he never used them on a actual person. If he did, it would be accident as well as reflex. So if one of the guys did come at him and got past Pietro, Arminius would end up reacting out of instinct. Though, he doubted one was fast enough to.
