Another busy training day was ahead of them as Tony had manage to keep himself out of the office. He didn't really want to do paper work or any of that boring stuff that came his way. Sure a lot of it was fun but he still had to focus on the Avengers as well. Since that day the Phoenix Force had come to attack the Avengers building and hurting Stark Industries at the same time Tony had done things a bit differently since that time. he was spending more time with the Avengers since he had been constantly checking in on them to see how they were doing and what they had been up too. they also had to worry about villains attacking as well-though all the newspapers and reports on the television had said that villains attacking down town had been rarer since the heroic age had begun there was always that fear of it happening in the back of Tony's mind. Heroes and villains were returning, so the odds of it happening seemed much higher to him.
"Well Francis you are starting to get around a lot easier on that leg of yours. Won't be long now before you're free to go on your own too." Tony said as they excited the training room after doing a few exercises for the day. The young Avenger was certainly eager to get out of the bandages soon since he had been tired of wearing them. Now he wouldn't have some other heroes constantly breathing down his back about worrying him and his wounds, though he knew his dad always worried about him. That was pretty much normal anyways. Tony had also come without his suit this time as he practiced some fighting styles that Cap had taught him since his first few years of being an Avenger as well. "Thanks Tony and yeah I can't wait to get these bandages off it's been too long now since I've had them on. Well I'll see you tomorrow, same time, same place." Francis said as he seemed eager to get out as well as he began to head off to go take a break from their day.
Though unfortunately Tony's break was not yet over as the hero had to check up on some other things that were going on for the day. It was late in the day, probably around 4:00pm and soon people would want to come in for dinner once it was being made. And their dinners were usually always guaranteed to be good no matter what it was. Since Tony was so wealthy he usually had the best items in store for their young heroes and wouldn't have to worry about going hungry.
For now though he knew he had to check up on a few students that were recent arrivals like Arminius, he frequented the Avengers when he had time too. Though the young boy seemed to be facing complications at home. "Jarvis do you know if Arminius is in the building? I do want to see how he's doing." Tony asked as his computer went to work to go and find the young boy to see where he was. Or even if he was in the tower at all.

Arminius was in the building and though he was having trouble with his Step-mother asking where he was going from time to time, he did manage to visit. He really wasn't anywhere special in the building, just in one of the rooms where anyone could be. It be very easy for Jarvis to find him.
The young man really wasn't sure on what he should be doing at the current moment, so he just sat down in a chair. Looking around, it was rather quiet here and not anyone around. Turning his sapphire gaze to his hands, he let out a sigh he just allowed his gaze to wander. Perhaps everyone was just out doing something? Saving the city in some way most likely.
He really wasn't sure how much longer he'd be able to sneak his way here. He did actually find his Step-mother following him after he left the house once, and it took quite a bit of time trying to lose her. What if he didn't lose her and she found her way here? Great, then she'd learn and who knows what would happen.

"I found him sir he's on one of the lower floors of the building." Jarvis said as Tony nodded. He knew that Arminius had been one of the quiet members in the building so finding him may not have been an easy one. He took the elevator to head down to the areas where he knew most of the kids hung out while they were waiting for classes to start. It was a good starting point to try and see where the boy was.
Once the elevator opened he stepped outside seeing a few kids and students there who were busy with their own tasks at hand. Some did notice Tony but he obviously kept to himself as he let them do their work or if they were just lounging around. "Arminius?" He asked noticing the boy not far from where all the students were hanging out. In a way Tony reminded of himself when he saw the boy sitting by himself. In his youngest of years he felt like he didn't have anyone to care about, no parents and nothing besides technology to be his friend as. "I just came to see how you were doing was all. Don't worry, you're not in trouble or anything." Tony said. Knowing most students probably thought when he came around someone had caused some sort of trouble, but that wasn't the case this time.

While he was sitting there, Arminius held his right hand out in front of him. The electric blue color took over the sapphire color that his eyes normally where. A ball of electricity appeared in his hand that was the size of a tennis ball, just the normal size that he could create. He really wasn't going to do anything with it other than see how long he could maintain it, though he wouldn't have his concentration for long.
The sound of Tony's voice caught him off guard and it resulted in him jumping. The electric ball in his hand disappeared. Turning around, he turned his sapphire gaze to Tony.
"Yes.... Mr.Stark?" Arminius asked.
How was he doing? Hard to answer that. Not in trouble? Well that was good.
"I...I guess alright." Arminius responded. "I... I haven't really been doing much. And what about you?"

Tony hadn't at all meant to scare the young boy in anyways and felt guilty now that he had done it. He saw that he had been perhaps practicing his powers from the looks of things. Tony was practically human, but he had other gifts that most people never had hoped to achieve. There was the intelligence of course, and as well as being able to invent things in over an hour under special circumstances. All had been proven useful to him as he had grown up and to be what he was to day. "I'm sorry Arminius I didn't mean to scare you at all." He confessed.
What he had been working on had disappeared and out of sight, Tony had concluded that he had been working on his powers. Pietro had told him that he had seen some kind of electrical charge the day the speedster had met him. "Well I've just been checking on the students and the main staff members to see how they're doing. You weren't here when it happened but awhile ago we had an attack on the building that injured many people. So I've been busy trying to rebuild and help the others repair what they lost." Tony said glad that there weren't terrible deaths that were lost from the Phoenix Force. He had heard so much from Logan and what had happened those days long ago from when Jean Grey had the Phoenix Force. Now he felt it himself and he could not deny that the Phoenix was something you should mess with. It was power that was from another universe, that was for sure.

"It's okay." Arminius replied as he put his hands together.
Arminius wasn't one to complain and a lot of things were fine to him. Listening to Tony's answer, Arminius wasn't sure on what to do. Granted this had happened before he appeared and in a way joined. Though he wasn't sure if he was really part of the Avengers in any way, he was just someone who appeared.
"E...everyone okay? Those...those that were there I..I mean..." Arminius asked, he wasn't sure on what else to ask. "I...I don't know...if I can be of any help with...repairing things.."

Tony had some sleepless nights for sure, on more than one occasion after this event had happened. But he didn't want Arminius to worry about that, that was his own problem. "There were a few who had some bad injuries but they were sent to hospitals almost immediantly after it happened. And a lot of them are on their way to recovering. Don't worry Arminius we're doing our best." Tony assured him knowing that he had sustained an injury himself that had knocked him unconscious when it had happened for a bit but soon after he was up on his feet helping the others.
"I'm just glad that you weren't hurt in the mix. A lot of these young heroes haven't really seen anything like that in a long time. Most villains that we know of now a days don't want to be bothered or cause problems. I guess it was a real wake up call for us." Tony said as he thought about it. Maybe the younger Avengers had to be ready for it sooner than they hoped. They would have to be used at some point as well when the time came. The Avengers wouldn't be there to save the day by themselves they'd need their kids. Well it was safe to say with the training that they received, it as clear that they were not totally helpless.

"T...that's good." Arminius replied.
It was bad that people had gone to the hospital but according to Tony, nobody died or was servilely hurt. So that was great. Arminius was confused when Tony said that he wasn't hurt.
"H...How could I be? I..I wasn't here for...for it..." Arminius replied with a confused voice. "N..nor anywhere near here."
It was true, he made sure to keep a distance from the Avenger's building when he wasn't coming here. To him, that would lower the risk of his Step-mother finding out.

"What I meant was I am glad you weren't injured either. There was a lot that I even feel guilty for since this is my home. It's supposed to be a safe place and even so I couldn't protect everyone. It was a wake up call to me in some ways, it was saying that we can't always let our guard down even in peaceful times." Tony explained as he tried his best with the boy. Even Francis from earlier had gotten injured during the event that day. But he wasn't the only one that had been hurt either.
He knew a lot of heroes had their own problems, even the students at this point as well. Some of them had come from many backgrounds and different problems. There was that one boy as Tony tried to recall his name. The poor kid hadn't had a family to turn too once they found out that they had a mutant in their home. Many heroes here where mutants as well come to think of it, there were the twins Pietro and Wanda who had come to hard lives. But even they had managed to dig themselves out of a hole that they had created and had gone very far since those days.

"Oh...sorry..." Arminius said.
It didn't surprise him that he misunderstood what Tony meant. Arminius wasn't sure what else he should say let alone do. After all, he misunderstood what Tony mean so....it was possible to misunderstand what else the hero would say. Turning his gaze away from Tony it ended up at the ground.
"Um..." Arminius stuttered as he removed his gaze from the ground. "So...so now..now what?"
Stupid question Arminius thought after he spoke.

Tony looked back at Arminius as he seemed to try and figure out what he wanted to do next. He had wanted to check up on him, an so far things seemed to be alright with him. Well he had been doing pretty well too as in staying out of his armor for that day. There was nothing going on outside in New York and today had certainly had been an opportunity to catch up on other things as he thought about it. Then an idea came to the older man.
"Say Arminius do you want to try some defensive combatant training? I know it's more of Cap's thing but I can teach you a few tips if you want." Tony said knowing that Captain America was one of the trainers in that area. But Tony also liked having a few students to teach when he wasn't busy doing his own thing.

Arminius was a bit surprised. Defensive combat training? The only thing that he knew that was defensive was the force field he could create. All it did was block certain things for a certain amount of time.
"I...I guess. I mean..it...it wouldn't hurt to know some defensive that doesn't come...from..." Arminius started. "Well... you...you know.."
Hopefully during these lessons Arminius wouldn't make the mistake of using his powers accidentally on Tony.

Tony nodded understanding, he knew his own armor had some defensive powers, but what happened when you were not going to be able to use their powers or use their own suits like Tony had made? There was going to be a day when someone had that problem on their hands. Tony had already learned that the hard way when he had Cap bet on him that he couldn't last a day without his armor. On the flip side he kind of needed his arch reactor in order to survive. If the metal got any closer to his heart, Tony was a goner. He didn't want to think about that as he looked back at the boy to give his reasoning for it, "Arminius there's going to be a day when you can't use your powers in battle. I hope it doesn't happen for some time. But I've already learned the hard way on what happens when you can't use your powers or even my suits of armor." Tony said as he tried his best to explain it.
"These classes could at least help you have an upper hand in training against your enemy when that time comes." Tony added as he gave the time for the boy to get ready for it mentally or even if he was interested in it. From the sounds of things he sounded a bit nervous for it. That wasn't entirely a surprise, the nervousness was something a lot of kids had when their training just began.

"But there's another problem." Arminius started. "I...I don't really...have a great amount of control with my powers. So....there's...there's the chance that you're going to get hurt....during...training."
Arminius barely used his powers, due to having to have to hide them all the time. So what little practice he got with his powers was very limited. Having some other means of defense was needed for him.
"I..I can't practice my powers at home really...so...I..I really don't know.." Arminius added. "I really don't know what'll happen if...if I do use em or not."

Tony shook his head, he had been through so much the past couple of years of being a hero he doubted that a bit of electricity wouldn't bother him at all. "You don't have to worry Arminius about me. I've been beaten and bruised by a lot of things but I'm still standing." Tony said trying his best of not to think about what may happen if he did accidently hurt him. Arminius at least understood of the problem. In worst case scenario there was a small hospital in the building that Tony could get to in time so he could recover from whatever it was.
"Besides Arminius. There's a small hospital here on the building since we never know when we're going to have to use it." Tony added hoping that would comfort the boy's worries. He knew that it might take a lot more than a few words to do it. If that didn't help, Tony could use his armor which pretty much protected him from electrical pulses.
