Recovery time(Open)

Lance couldn't help smiling when seeing her tears of joy, knowing this must have been a big accomplishment for the young teen. But he wasn't expecting her to suddenly hug him and couldn't help grunting, eyes widening just slightly in pain as he gently patted her back,"Your welcome Sarah."He said through some gritted teeth but he took a moment to collect himself while shaking his head,"It's alright Sarah, it was spur of the moment I'm not angry at you for that."He assured her knowing it was just something he could live with. "Mean trust me a little hug won't bring me down."He said with a pained chuckle.

"it's alright really and all you really need to do is keep working on it little by little,"Lance told her but tilted his head when she turned away suddenly which made him wonder if she was just thinking. Though he wasn't even aware what was on her mind and assumed it had to do with what he taught her. "Well if your sure Sarah, see you later and good luck."He said to her as she left smiling a bit but didn't think much of it from the action. And in all honesty he should probably get back himself since he was sure one of the other saff would track him down.

Lance had barely made his way from the clearing when Kitty Pryde herself was suddenly there, looking quite annoyed with him and he knew exactly why. "Uh hi Kitty, I was just getting some fresh air is all and Sarah was having trouble with her powers."Lance said, trying to sound serious but the soreness had returned after the hug and was slowly going back down as before. So he knew with the slight pained look he wasn't getting out of this one too easily. "Nice day for a walk isn't it?"He asked with a nervous laugh, while rubbing the back of his neck.

Unfortunately this wouldn't help him in the least to avoid Kitty's wrath if she was now looking for him for not resting. Quite frankly he was tired of resting and not doing anything, this is what brought him outside in the first place before Sarah nearly ran into him not too long ago. But now his time was about to be cut quite short, that's if Kitty won this argument.

"The most pain I would get from anything Kitty is a headache, all my powers are mental use of psionic energy."Lance told her but gave a light shrug to not put more pain into his already sore body,"And I didn't use them anyway. Sarah was able to get past a block in her powers and in the spur of the moment hugged me, surprised and it hurt but I'll be fine."He said as he still seemed to be waving it off that it was nothing overly serious. But he knew very well that Kitty wouldn't relent no matter what he said. "If it makes you feel better I was on my way back.

"I know you worry Kitty, and if I wasn't up walking around or being this stubborn then that's something to worry about."Lance told her as they walked, looking down slightly at her as he spoke. He didn't exactly enjoy arguing with the older woman nor did he like being defiant in spite of rank, and Lance really held an upmost respect towards Pryde but there were times his stubbornness won over. "Well alright, that will be fine."Lance said with a nod, managing to smile as he was glad she was at least letting him do that much.

Before he could suggest they probably head for a walk a familiar voice calling from the gates captured his attention. That sounded like the woman from the other night, Jamini was her name as Garrett explained. Quite frankly Lance was surprised she came to the school but at the same time he saw it as a chance to thank the woman who laid her life for his own when they had not known one another and in a way he owed his life to her for rescuing him. Especially since the beating could have killed him. "I know that voice."He said to Kitty before moving towards the gates,"Jamini welcome to the mansion."Lance called to here as he came closer and opened the gate to let her in. "Please come in."

"Much better then last time I'll assure you that Jamini, but it'll be a few weeks before I'm fully healed."Lance said with a sigh, glad to see her but the news still made him hate to have to let someone else take over his classes while he was recovering. Luckily though Garrett decided to take those classes for him until Lance returned, in fact he guessed one was probably going on right now. "Though from your reaction I'm assuming you've known about the X-men for quite some time without us having to tell you much."He observed, seeing Jamini's surprised reaction when Kitty said her name.

"Explains a lot,"Lance said with a nod but wasn't too surprised since the X-men were somewhat well known by now, especially to the mutant community in several places. Though he wondered when Garrett had planned to tell them or if at all, but then again the young cajun always seemed on the go so it was hard for them to really talk to him at all. It was amazing the man was three years older then Lance and yet they're rolls seemed reverse in the sense that Lance acted somewhat older then he was and Garrett acted like one of the students.

"Hey a few weeks is long to me, I hate staying cooped up."Lance said with a chuckle, rubbing the back of his head in a joking manner. Though his eyes quickly shifted to the air as he saw one of the students, Megan Gwynn, practicing her flying but when doing a few maneuvers over the side of the mansion she seemed to over do it with one maneuver before she was falling. "Oh man, Megan hold on!"Lance called as his eyes glowed indigo and a similar aura appeared around him appearing like water that hugged his body.

Shortly after that a indigo colored water bubble appeared around the young pinked hair, fairy-winged girl to slow her fall and giving her enough time she could straighten herself out. "Thanks Mr.Bond!"She called, looking relieved before quickly going to rejoin the class much to Lance's relief before the glow appeared from his eyes and around him.
