Lance nodded as he looked at the two woman, knowing her startled them but it had been for a reason he had been so quick. "Regardless of what I've done in the past and being beat up bad, my students' safety is always a priority. It always is for the staff here."He said, the last part mostly towards Jamini. But unfortunately despite it being out in the open that he was in fact possibly under investigation for a criminal past Lance had still yet to reveal what he had once done way back when.
Lance though only smiled,"Well how about we show you around Jamini? Maybe even take you to the class going on right now, from the looks of it think it's one of my afternoon classes going on right now so Garrett might be teaching right now."He suggested, knowing this might give Jamini a chance to see the school first hand.

Jamini Jamini looked at Lance as he spoke, smiled and nodded. Indeed Lance was noble, something she could admire and recpect. As for what he may have done in his past did not matter to her. All she cared for was the person here and now. The past is the past nothing you could do but move on. Though when Lance asked if she would like to look around and even see a class that Garrett would be teaching. Jamini gave a another shocked exprassion, what? See more of the school and even get to see Garrett at work? It sure was a tempting thought to be sure. Ok why not she may not get another chance lke this. "I- I would love to look at the school and see a class in session." Jamini said with a smile. Kitty Kitty looked at Lance when he asked Jamini if she wanted to look around and even sit in at a class. That was not a bad idea, and who knows this may end up with Jamini down the path of her joining someday. It seemed Lance liked her a lot and from the short time Kitty has met her she also liked Jamini. She seemed like a sweet and careing person. When Jamini said yes Kitty smiled and looked up at the younger woman. "Well what are we waiting for? Lets go." Kitty said with a smile and started to walk over to the class.

Lance chuckled as Kitty seemed to agree with him for once today and began to follow alongside her towards the back, and sure enough he heard the familiar sounds of the students practicing. But it wasn't just a practice class for their powers there were also several working with push-ups, sit ups, and a few working on their sprinting just like any normal gym class. Seeing this made Lance quite proud that the students were still working hard, not to mention Garrett was quick to help if any were struggling or telling them to take a break for a few minutes.
Though he had paused briefly when seeing the three, Garrett giving a quick wave to them before he went back to watching the students which for once he actually seemed focused. "It surprises me how often he acts like one of the students until he has a task then he actually acts like an adult."Lance couldn't help remarking, though some of the students giggled at the comment and Garrett shot a look at Lance in a fake warning. But both knew neither would ever truly hurt the other.

Kitty Kitty could not help but also laugh at Lance's comment. Oh how that was true, Lance was younger but acted more older. And Garrett was older but still acted like a kid. Though sometimes that could cause issues and Garrett would not listen sometimes and just do his own thing. And he even agured with other staff and even butted heads with Xavier at times... But besides that Garrett was a great team mate and teacher. So Kitty could over look the the times he butted heads with other staff. Jamini Jamini also giggled a little, she had only known Garrett a short time but she could see him like that. Though she still wished he would not take on those police offers with his own hands.. But she knew it was no use trying to talk him out of it. He seemed to be the kind of person once he set his mind to something it did not matter what others said. " I can see that happening." Jamaini said with a smile as she watched Garrett. She gave a small wave to Garrett wondering if he was shocked to see her here.

Lance smiled when the two had laughed but he knew he wouldn't be out there for much longer, starting to feel his pain beginning to flare up again. Though it was very frustrating that he had to go about laying down for long periods of time and taking it easy which prevented him from helping the students or doing what he loved. Even though his pain was quite obvious again so was his frustration. It just didn't seem right fate would deal him a hand of leaving him incapacitated for some weeks before he could help his fellow X-men. His major concern at the moment though was for something bad to happen.

Garrett though was for the moment focused on the class as it continued for a few more minutes, but he was quite surprised Jamini had stopped by. Well it had been bound to happen he was sure. Though after a few more minutes and Garrett checked the time he finally saw it was time for them to go get changed so they didn't miss their break or next class,"Alright everyone that calls it for class for the time."He told all of them, many seeming to be relieved since not everyone loved gym but none the less everyone left without much of a complaint.
Now the young spanish cajun-frenchman turned his attention to the three who had been watching the class but took note of the pain and frustration showing in Lance's expression. "Hola mon amis, I'm so glad you three could stop by."Garrett greeted with a smile, showing already how sometimes he mixed the languages of his heritage at times but hardly seemed to notice a difference. "Jamini I'm especially glad you could stop by."He added fondly to her, having grown to see the woman as a good friend indeed but didn't seem to show much difference in the fact he still was the fun loving guy despite how much he butted heads with the others.

Kitty Kitty smiled as she watched the students, she was not a teacher but was happy to help with classes from time to time. Though as she watched her cell phone started to ring. Kitty blinked picking it up and answered it. She then spoke to whoever it was hung up and sighed, "Well... It seems I'm needed somewhere else... I better go... Though Lance please remember to take it easy ok?" Kitty said and with that she left the group. ( Kitty leaves thread) Jamini Jamini smiled at Garrett when he came over, and nodded when he said he was happy to see her. In truth Jamini was happy to see Garrett again as well. Though she looked at Kitty and blinked when she said she had to leave so suddenly and watched as she left.It left Jamini wondering what had come up but no way was she going to read Kitty's mind.. She then looked at Garrett again and smiled. " I came because I wanted to see Lance to see how he was doing. And I wanted see you as well." Jamini said as she blushed slightly at what she said. Wow why did she have to say that? Oh that was embarrassing.. Jamini thought though she just smiled.

"I will Kitty, see you later."Lance said after her before he turned his attention to the others not really wanting to bother the veteran x-man on what the call could have been about. But unfortunately he too would have to leave since the pain was beginning to get to him once more already. "Unfortunately I will need to make my leave as well, think some more rest is needed."He told them but had noticed the blush from Jamini and the faint smile on Garrett's face. Oh, there was definitely something more then friendship there but he merely smiled to himself as he made his own leave,"See ya guys."He said over his shoulder.

"Alright Kitty, see ya."Garrett said as well but wondered what could have come up for the young woman, probably something related to her own job there at the institute despite the fact she wasn't a teacher. Garrett himself wasn't exactly one except occasional combat classes when people were interested. Though it didn't seem long before Lance too was making his leave which didn't surprise him, the pain had become obvious after a little while despite the frustration his fellow X-man obviously had too.
But turning his attention back to Jamini Garret faintly smiled at her words,"Ah petite glad ta here ya could make it. Quite honestly been worried 'bout ya since da other night of Lance's attack, ya really seemed in bad shape back den but seems your fine now."He said to her, showing the concern he held for Jamini and perhaps in a sense there was more then friendship he had began to feel. But for Garrett it was a little too early to say at the moment and he didn't know for sure if she felt the same. "So shall we take a grand tour of da mansion señorita?"He asked as he offered his hand.

When Garrett showed the same concern he had for her the night of the attack, her blush deepened and she gave a soft smile. Garrett really is a nice guy.. She felt that from the first day they met.. It was most likely why she felt she could tell him about her powers. "Yes I'm fine now. Just needed a few days rest is all.." Jamini said a she looked at Garrett trying not to blush anymore and was not sure if she was winning that little fight. When Garrett offered to show her around Jamini blinked and thought about it then nodded, " Sure, I would like that." Jamini said taking Gerrett;s offered hand.

Garrett smiled when he noticed Jamini couldn't seem to stop blushing, finding it actually a little cute for her but knew better then to really embarrass her about it. "Den follow me ma chérie,"He said he guided the young woman to the mansion knowing there was quite a few places to see and would take some time. When they did reach the mansion he came to a pause inside the lobby,"Now I'll warn ya Jamini, dis place is pretty big so dis will take a while."He warned her, knowing it would be difficult to navigate at first until one got use to it.
But after this Garrett lead her around to many different places such as the kitchen, dining room, a few of the lounges, recereation room, classes, offices, dorms, and eventually leading her to the outside. "And dis here is da garden, most of us like ta come here to relax and get away for a while."He finished as Garrett arrived to the gardens that seemed filled with various kinds of flowers from all over the world. "We can thank Storm mostly for dese."Garrett added in reference to the weather controlling mutant and veteran X-man Ororo Munroe before he reached up, plucking a rose before holding it out to Jamini. "And of course a beautiful flower for a beautiful woman."He added, smiling.
